THE VIEW
G6 is an upper cottage located at the back of the complex with serene garden views. Situated just off Pacific Street, guests can enjoy the lush garden scenery and occasional train sightings. While the condo does not offer an ocean view, its prime location allows for easy access and a short walk to the beach.

**Please note that the Amtrak Coaster trains run all along the California coast and are a fun part of California's coastal living. You may hear occasional choo choos of the train during the day, but Oceanside is a designated quiet zone so they will pass by in the evening but are no longer allowed to use their horns along this stretch of track.

The neighborhood is mostly “old Oceanside “, but there is no stopping the large modern multiplex style that beach towns eventually become. Glad this and many other homes have survived. Just a short walk to the beach. Great little coffee place very close. It was really a nice home base, as we were busy every day. The one negative is the proximity to the trains. The horns are loud and frequent weekdays. Much better on weekends. Even so, we will be back again next year."

It is a bit of a walk to the pier so I would suggest driving over if you are looking to spend time close to the main swimming/surf area. There is also no air conditioning which was expected, and it can be a bit hot after a long day being closed up. We brought along some mini air conditioners, I highly recommend this if coming in the summer because it helped cool the place down quickly. The Spa is wonderful and the Koi Pond was a lot of fun, my son loved to feed them. It is located near shops and food as well. There is no road between the cottage and the sand. It is so ideal for keeping your precious children safe and your mind at ease not having to worry about a vehicle or bicycle zooming by. It is also at the north end of Oceanside, perfectly situated between the pier and the harbor.

Once you have stepped onto the grounds of our community, you will be surrounded by waterfalls, saltwater pools, spas, and a large Koi pond. There is a recreational room equipped with pool tables, ping-pong, and Foosball. There is a putting green and a fitness room complete with a sauna room. There is a puzzle/reading room.

Located in northern San Diego County, five minutes off I-5, right next to the Oceanside Harbor (featuring many unique shops and excellent restaurants) and a short walk to Oceanside Pier, where you will find Ruby's Diner at the farthest ocean end. Swim, surf, walk the longest stretch of sandy beach in Southern California, the longest wooden pier in California, kayak, jet ski, boat, paddle boats, fish, shop, all just steps from your condo.

This is a favorite destination for couples and families from around the world. The complex consists of nine three-story buildings on acres of Maui-like lushly landscaped grounds. Those buildings are surrounded on the outside by cottages, and a very few of those are oceanfront. Even fewer are end units. Unique also is the fact that we have two reserved parking spaces inside parking garages, and a full-size washer/dryer inside our cottage. Our location truly is ideal. While in many reviews you will read about train noise or being oceanfront on the noisy Strand street, that is not an issue with our beautiful Oceanside Beachfront Cottage. You are nearly on top of the ocean waves, so that is the sound you will hear. The sound of waves will lull you to sleep.

Within a short drive, enjoy Legoland, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, La Jolla, Del Mar Race Track, Sea Port Village, Catalina Island, Balboa Island, Hollywood, and Rodeo Drive.

There is a lot to see and do within walking distance. Situated at the north end of San Diego County, Orange County is 30 minutes up the highway, so you can easily enjoy all of what Southern California has to offer. Dana Point/Laguna are about 30 minutes north, depending on the traffic.

It is situated between the longest pier in Southern California and a quaint harbor (right next door!) with amazing restaurants to enjoy.

Our marquee beach front cottage offers front row seats to life on The Strand, steps from the water, with an unobstructed ground floor view of the sand, surf and sea. This beautiful, completely renovated one-bedroom apartment offers a delightful bedroom with a California king, a full bathroom, a living room with a pull-out queen sofa bed and a kitchen. With views from one end of the apartment to the other being inside is almost as good as being outside.

- "The on-site manager (Tony I believe) could not have been more helpful. Made sure we were taken care of at all times. I would stay there again simple because he is running the place. 15 out of 10 all day!!" - "Loved the place. Loved the ocean being outside. My only complaint…which has NOTHING to do with the place itself…was the Strand. The road that runs between the place and the ocean. I’ve stayed on the Strand before without much of a problem. This year was awful. The hundreds of cars constantly going by with music blaring for hours and hours became beyond irritating. Starting in the afternoon and going on even past midnight, the cars were cruising by slowly blasting music. It was impossible to keep the windows open to hear the ocean because of the noise. Even with the windows closed it was still very noisy inside. The other issue with the cars constantly going by was about every other car had people inside smoking pot. We couldn’t sit outside without breathing it in, and with the windows open it was constantly wafting through the house. I have nothing against pot, but I don’t want to constantly smell it. It made for a very unpleasant stay. Again, the property was perfect, it was something completely outside the hosts realm of control."

This upper unit oceanfront two-bedroom one bathroom property comes complete with a full kitchen and ocean view living room. There is shared parking for one vehicle and street parking as well. You will enjoy a King-sized bed in bedroom one, a Queen size bed in bedroom two, and a couch in the living room which has a full ocean view complete with dolphins playing in the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Fresh towels and linens will be provided. The beautiful living room opens up to a deck patio that looks out to the ocean. There is also a private gated courtyard located in the back of the upper unit, great for a smoke break or pets. The downstairs outdoor seating area is shared with the lower unit, it comes with an ocean front outdoor heated spa that is shared with the lower unit. The newly constructed bonfire area with outdoor bar and seating area is right on the Strand and is shared with the lower unit. This area sits right on the Strand. A shared BBQ also comes with the property. This home is steps away from the ocean on the Strand in Oceanside. The Strand is the boardwalk of Oceanside Beach and is the most popular location in coastal San Diego. You will find yourself within walking distance to many great restaurants. Great eats like Bagby and LTH (Local Tap House) on Coast Highway are great options for amazing food and happy hour. If you need snacks or drinks, the locally known Wisconsin Market is only blocks from this vacation home. You can also find a great coffee shop next door to Wisconsin Market. It is only a short walk to the bustling nightlife of downtown Oceanside and fishing right off the Oceanside Pier. 1. Parking. Vehicles shall be parked in garage, driveway, and on-site designated parking

No vehicles shall be parked on a designated fire lane nor block or restrict access to adjacent
properties.
2. Occupancy. The maximum number of occupants shall be two adults per bedroom plus two
people per unit (including children).
3. Daytime Guests. The maximum number of daytime guests allowed in a STR unit shall be
10 guests, regardless of bedroom count. Daytime guests are allowed between 7am and
10pm.
4. Noise. Any disturbing, excessive, or offensive noises as defined in Section 38.17 of the
Oceanside City Code shall be prohibited between the hours of 10pm and 10am.

Trash cans were taken out too which was nice. Other than needing a new couch, property worked great for us! Our marquee beach front cottage offers front row seats to life on The Strand, steps from the water, with an unobstructed ground floor view of the sand, surf and sea. Our cozy little beach cottage is perfect for small families, working professionals, or couples who want to enjoy a nice relaxing stay near the beach and Legoland.

The cottage is equipped with fast wifi, smart TVs, and is suitable for children. We recently installed Air conditioning and have the most comfortable beds with CASPER mattresses. It located in a quiet neighborhood blocks away from the beach.

The cottage is one of two units (not connected) in the front of the property. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking. There is a gated front yard, a private patio, and table and chairs. Shared laundry facilities with a brand new washer and dryer!

Briana and I live in theback unit with our dogs Bailey and Zoey. Bailey is 13 years old and a small bichon mix and Zoey is 8 months old and are very nice dogs, especially with kids.

PARKING: There is plenty of street parking that is located directly in front of the cottage. Street cleaning is every Monday morning. Check signs. We also have a private garage available.
KIDS. We have a grab and go, toys, and chairs for the kids.

*The San Diego and Orange County Airport is roughly an hour drive from our Oceanside properties.
Legoland is a 12 minute drive from the cottage. The beach is a 12 minute walk to the sand. You can walk to downtown to all the food and coffee shops.
The beach cottage is one of two properties on the lot. You will have access to the front yard and back patio. Briana and I live in the back unit.

You can easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach from the cottage. You are a quick drive to Legoland, Torrey Pines, and Downtown San Diego.
We live in the back unit. We are respectful of your space but are available if needed.
The cottage is located two blocks from downtown and a quick walk the beach and pier. It is a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance to coffee shops, local eateries, and shopping.

Walking is the most popular option for our guests once they are there. There is plenty of street parking and a garage space available in the alley though most guest find the street most convenient.

Oceanside studio west of coast highway, 1 block to the restaurants, breweries and shops of Downtown Oceanside, 4 block walk to beautiful Oceanside Beach. Off-street, alley parking for 1 car. This is a 2nd floor studio accessed by a steep flight of stairs (please see picture to ensure staircase will not be a concern). We are also close to the train which can be noisy.

The space
There is king sized bed, full kitchen, a/c and a 55” TV, so you have a relaxing and comfortable space after a day out at the beach or sightseeing. Please keep in mind that the apartment is up a steep flight of stairs (pictured).

We provide beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella. The kitchen is stocked with basics like olive oil, salt, pepper and coffee.

There is a desk and high speed internet if you need to get some work done during your stay. The TV has Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and HBO (no cable).

Guest access
Guests can access the yard and the upstairs apartment.

Spanish style cottage that is just a short walk to the beach! Our cozy cottage has a private entrance and private patio. It has a full kitchen, A/C, and washer/dryer. Restaurants, coffee shops, and gyms are all within walking distance in our quiet and safe neighborhood. Our home is designed to accommodate 2 people, and pets are welcome. The backyard has a large patio deck, comfy couch, and fire pit to relax. North Oceanside, the pier, and the Top Gun house are just a 5 minute drive away.

The property is located in the heart of downtown. The location is ideal for those traveling without a car. We are walking distance to shopping, movies, restaurants, bike trails, parks, beaches, pier, harbor, library, cafes, bars, clubs, etc, all within blocks. Oceanside is a small, lively city with great local events like the weekly Sunset Market, farmer's markets, concerts, monthly Art Walk, parades, and triathlons. It is also centrally located for quick access to Legoland, Disneyland, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, etc.

Other things to note
The master bedroom is on the bottom floor with attached full bath. Two bedrooms are located on the second story, one with a full bed, vanity, and dresser. The other bedroom makes a great office for longer stays, with a desk, small balcony, and queen size bed. The second full bathroom is located on the second story. It was added to the home a few years ago, so it includes new floors, fixtures, and plumbing. Living room couch pulls out easily into a full bed. Kids loft includes two fold out futon cushions to sleep extra people. Great for kids.
