The staff was friendly, no matter who I interacted with through the week. It seems the hotel and furniture was recently updated so things are modern and I found, very clean. This is key for me to feel comfortable. I thought it was also a good value (I searched on Hotels.com by reviews and price. ). Park near the pier for shops, bike rentals, beach fun, McDonald's, fishing, Ruby's Diner, surfing, fire pits, and palm tree-lined stretches of sand. For Carlsbad and other beaches head straight down Coast Highway/Carlsbad Boulevard. Our large room was very stylish (contemporary) and comfortable. It had a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with coffee, LG LCD TV (about 42"), huge granite shower, small desk, air conditioner, and two queen beds. Elevators take you everywhere and pass cards provide easy entry to rooms, pool, small fitness center, and entry doors from below ground parking. Parking was adequate, but it could be a problem when the hotel is at full capacity. The heated pool and bubbling spa were small, but only one other person came to the pool area between 9:00-9:40 p.m. while we were there. Towels were provided. There are poolside bathrooms and a shower. Front desk clerks were friendly, informative, and efficient. We only stayed one night, but I would definitely stay there again."

We got a 1 bed room suite and it was so modern it felt like a high rise LA apartment. The room was bright and had amazing furnitures. the kitchen had electric stove tops and a island for cooking. The floor was wood so no need to worry about carpet except for the room. The cleanliness was top tier, they take their time cleaning. As a person in my mid 20s it was perfect for both the older and younger party crowd. Food spots near by also makes it convenient if you get hungry late night. Overall best 1 bedroom suit i ever stayed in and i been to a lot. Can’t wait to return when construction is finished and the property is at it’s best!"

- "I am impress with the motel's customer service. Its incredible how hard the employees all work together and get thi ngs done. I was there for my surfing class at tge beach. Which took me about 10 min walk. At my arrival front desk clerk was already with another customer giving suggestions for dinner. Then welcome me with a smile and offered me a nice room by the snack room. The room was adequate, clean and with a most comfortable bed ever. As i was about to call office for ice .the young girl at the desk called me to check on my room accomodation or needs. I was only missing a menu to order food. She said they dont supply that or room directory but she mention me that she can guide me or guide me the area in a map. She patiently told me the best options fir mr to eat or go out. I followed her advise and i really enjoyed my time! It saves you time , specially for thos e of you that are always running. Other small hote l s wont even care.
