Easily walkable to the rocky beach, the sandy beach is a couple blocks further down the shoreline, and also very close to the downtown area. It’s nicely decorated and very clean and inviting. My only tiny tiny reservation would be the pullout couch. Although great as an extra sleeping space for our grown kids, not a great option as it’s very uncomfortable. That being said, and to be fair to our wonderful hosts, it’s a pullout… and it goes with the territory :) … so plan around it"

One of our twins is on the spectrum and he's very sensitive to noises and even new environments. Our stay at the Spanish Town home was amazing and fit all our needs. I was afraid of all the stairs with the boys, but they had so much fun going up and down, with supervision of course lol, and even improved their motor skills with stairs. They're pros now. The home does have one baby gate which the boys know to stay clear. The town home has very thing you need for the beach, to cook and even to do laundry. There were so many great features of the Town home and the online pictures don't do it justice. The view from the roof top is great and the space is so relaxing with the breeze. My favorite feature of all, they provide a pack-n-play. We were so worried our Twin whos Autistic and being able to sleep. We brought his tent from home so if he had any issues sleeping, he could sleep in his safe space where he naps. We didn't even unpack it. He slept in the pack-n-play just like he does in his own crib at home. He felt right at home at the Town home, as did we. We will most definitely be staying here again."

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting our unit. We are required by the City of Oceanside to enforce the Good Neighbor Policy.

Parking: The driveway is on a first-come, first-served basis with one other unit. It is not very large and typically we suggest only one car at a time park there. It is possible for each unit to park their car on the driveway if both are compact and you park very carefully. You will need to be cautious of low walls on both sides when backing up. Please do not allow your guests to park on driveway behind your car, as it may block the other units pathway for luggage, bikes etc. There is free parking on the street right out front.

Our location makes it a great choice! Walk or bike to the beach, restaurants, gastro pubs, and coffee shops. Or take your bike to the strand and ride to the pier, downtown, shops, or Oceanside Harbor. Boats, jet skis, pedal boats, and stand up paddle boards can be rented at the harbor.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting our unit. We are required by the City of Oceanside to enforce the Good Neighbor Policy.

Parking: The driveway is on a first-come, first-served basis with one other unit. It is not very large and typically we suggest only one car at a time park there. It is possible for each unit to park their car on the driveway if both are compact and you park very carefully. You will need to be cautious of low walls on both sides when backing up. Please do not allow your guests to park on driveway behind your car, as it may block the other units pathway for luggage, bikes etc. There is free parking on the street right out front.

PARKING
- This unit has a dedicated parking spot in the rear of the property.
- Additionally, plenty of street parking is available on a first come, first served basis subject to the following restrictions due to street sweeping:
- The East side is no parking between 10am-2pm on 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.
- The West side is no parking between 6am-10am on the 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.

KEYLESS ENTRY
This home is equipped with a smart lock. Upon arrival, guests can easily access the home with a keyless secure door code. Please note, the access code is time-sensitive. As such, it operates the lock only at or after 3:00p time and will not work after 10:00a on your check-out date.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). This fantastic cottage is located right on The Strand with amazing ocean views and a view of the pier. Walk out the door and take a stroll down the Strand or jump on a beach cruiser. This is a perfect location for a fun summer get-away. Sit on the front porch and watch the breathtaking sunset each evening during your stay.

The bedroom has a large walk-in closet and a TV in the bedroom. In the living room is a queen Murphy bed equipped with lights for evening reading. With a large 50-inch TV over the living room mantle, games in the closet, and the sand just a few steps from the front door, there’s something to please everyone. The clean bright kitchen is well-equipped with all the equipment necessary to prepare a wonderful meal. Just a short stroll to the pier or walk to the harbor will bring you even more options for dining. The home has a one-car garage with one additional parking space behind it, a quaint backyard with outdoor seating. The cottage also has a large walk-in shower, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, and WiFi.

Things to Know
The Strand is a vibrant and popular destination. Noise can be very high. Stereos, BBQs, and volleyball games can happen right on your doorstep.
The condo over the detached garage is occupied by a long-time guest.
The path along side home is not private. It can be accessed by others. Sometimes people from the beach use it as a shortcut to other homes.
This home is not equipped with air-conditioning. We do provide fans.
This home utilizes decibel level monitors.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Please note, that air conditioning is very difficult to find in the area as historic homes present a challenge to installing. Through some fine engineering, we are proud to say that we got it in.

- Unwind on six Adirondack chairs that surround the fire table in the common courtyard. Please note that the common courtyard is shared by all three units in contrast to the private patio located at the main entrance. Many of our guests enjoy the opportunity to socialize with other guests staying at the property.
- Fire up the dedicated gas grill and enjoy a snack at your private bistro table.
- Thoughtfully landscaping ensures the guest can enjoy the quiet neighborhood while being reminded they are in sunny destination at a vacation retreat.

BEACH EQUIPMENT
Need bikes, helmets, or boards? Don't rent them! This home provides two beach cruiser bikes with helmets, two boogie boards, two beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, a cooler, and a wagon to tote it all to the famous Oceanside Pier beach.

LAUNDRY
Two sets of full-size washer/dryers with complimentary detergent are provided in the common courtyard for guest use.

PARKING
- This home comes with an on-site dedicated parking spot in the rear of the property.
- Additionally, plenty of street parking is available in the neighborhood on a first come, first served basis. Please note the following restrictions due to street sweeping:
- The East side is no parking between 10am-2pm on 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.
- The West side is no parking between 6am-10am on the 1st and 3rd Monday for street sweeping.

KEYLESS ENTRY
This home is equipped with a smart lock. Upon arrival, guests can easily access the home with a keyless secure door code. Please note, the access code is time-sensitive. As such, it operates the lock only at or after 3:00p time and will not work after 10:00a on your check-out date.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation and we will process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival. This authorization is held for 14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the unit, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the unit or the contents of the unit to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
By confirming your booking, you will be entering into a Rental Agreement with The Urban Nest North County. The Rental Agreement will be sent to you approximately two hours after confirmation of your booking. If you have any objections to the terms of the Rental Agreement, you must notify management, in writing, within 24 hours of receipt of the Rental Agreement via the host channel.

Designed with large families or groups in mind, this 2000 square-foot home offers plenty of space for 10 guests, with four large bedrooms plus a queen air mattress for the living room.

All four bedrooms offer a comfortable queen-sized bed with a 12-inch thick memory foam mattress. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan and blackout curtains, ensuring maximum comfort and quality sleep. Guests can unpack and make themselves at home, using the ample closet space to store clothes.

As a guest, you will have access to the entire property, including the private backyard, garage, beach gear, and two bikes. There are three parking spots available: two in the driveway and one in the garage.

You will be given a key code for the smart lock, so no need to keep track of keys. There’s also a ring camera on the home’s exterior to ensure safety at all times.

☀ The home has an exterior security camera above the front door. It is not located inside the home and only monitors the exterior of the property. There is an approved decibel monitor on the ceiling of the kitchen. It only measures sound and not what anyone is saying. This is only to prevent large parties that would disturb the community. Both will be on during your stay.

☀We have an additional rental agreement that is required to be signed after booking your reservation. We also collect a copy of your government ID/license that is required by our insurance company to have on file. We reserve the right to cancel reservations if these requirements are not met within 24 hours of booking.

☀ We conduct additional guest screening outside of the booking platform. Booking your stay gives us as the manager and our 3rd party, SafelyStay, Inc to screen your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding guest screening can be found on their website. You will receive an email to complete your screening. Guests booking confirms receipt and acknowledgment of the below City of Oceanside Good Neighbor Policy.

1) Parking: Vehicles shall be parked in garage, driveway, and on-site designated parking spaces whenever possible. Please avoid parking on street if on-site parking is available. No vehicles shall be parked on a designated fire lane nor block or restrict access to adjacent properties.

2) Occupancy. The maximum number of occupants shall be two adults per bedroom plus two people per unit (including children).

3) Daytime Guests. The maximum number of daytime guests allowed in a STR unit shall be 10 guests, regardless of bedroom count. Daytime guests are allowed between 7am and 10pm.

4) Noise. Any disturbing, excessive, or offensive noises as defined in Section 38.17 of the Oceanside City Code shall be prohibited between the hours of 10pm and 10am.

Any violations of the house rules or any terms of this Agreement will be subject to termination by the Host, with no refund and minimum $500 fee.

*The Guest and any of their guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the Premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Guests agree to exercise caution when using the property and waive any and all liability claims against the host.

The neighborhood is quiet and an easy walk to the restaurants and shops. It is also a walkable distance to the beach. - Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.

Parties and Overoccupancy Policy:
-If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. In addition, should these allegations be found true, the guest will be subject to immediate eviction without a refund.

We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation, and it is a credit card authorization that is processed prior to or during your stay. This authorization is held for 5-14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the home, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the home or the contents of the home to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

Welcome to our Mini Mansion! This is a We Stay Coastal property. We designed and built this unique, custom ADU home. We have lived here for many years, but are transitioning to something larger with our two kids. Though the footprint of the home is the size of a two car garage, the vaulted ceilings, open floor plan, and large kitchen/bathroom make it feel spacious. Garage doors open to a large patio/driveway, bringing in a nice breeze during warm summer months. We are a quick walk from the beach.

- "It was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay at the loft. The beach was 2 blocks away and we were located in the city center close to all restaurants. All in all it was perfect" - "Lovely loft space for an adult travelling alone or a couple who can share a bed. I stayed in the summertime so it got a little hot in this little studio space converted from a workshop garage; I had to leave the downstairs garage doors open a couple nights to get good airflow. Lots of natural light which is great in the daytime, but if you sleep late or have an inverted sleep schedule there's no curtains for the skylights. Bed is nice and comfortable w/ plenty of pillows and abundant towels for the downstairs dual head shower. The kitchen suited my needs w/ gas stove, oven and microwave (no keurig machine but that's just me). Parking is easy where you can pull into the patio/driveway from the street and secured w/ a remote control gate. Location is fantastic in O side near the library and convention center and only a very short walk to the pier, beach and surf breaks Lots of coffee/restaurants nearby. Rachel and Peter are very open to communication and respond rapidly. I had some trouble during my stay with the wifi being rather choppy and slow - IDK if it was just during my stay or if it's a persistent issue. 4-4.5 out of 5 I would stay here again and recommend it to a friend."

It is also centrally located for quick access to Legoland, Disneyland, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, etc.
Update: The construction across the street was completed in 2024 and there are no longer parking restrictions in front of the house.

There is so much going on in Oceanside! We LOVE the weekly Sunset Markets (Thursday evenings) and Farmer's Markets (Thursday mornings). Oceanside is eclectic and diverse with a lot of history, and the many activities going on around Oceanside represent that diversity. From plays at local theaters, parades, outdoor concerts, movie theaters, variety of local craft breweries, and excellent dining, there is something for everyone here. And of course, you can't beat being able to walk to the beach!
Once you're here, everything you need is a short walk away! Restaurants, movies, and shopping are all less than five minutes walk. It's less than ten minutes walk to the beach, pier, and strand. There is generally plenty of street parking. FYI, the neighborhood gets busier on Thursday evenings for the Sunset Market (but lucky you, you're just a block away from some of the best street food from around the world!)

EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECK-OUT
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation, and it is a credit card authorization that is processed prior to or during your stay. This authorization is held for 5-14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the home, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the home or the contents of the home to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

Other things to note
Due to proximity to beach I need to limit extra visitors and gatherings. Having family or a couple friends over for a low key visit is fine, but larger/louder groups will be an issue. Out of respect for my neighbors, I do enforce the 10:00 pm to 10:00 am quiet time rules set by the city of Oceanside.

Little studio bungalow walking distance to local breweries, beaches and restaurants. Train station is 0.8 miles away, shopping is close by, bike, and surfboard rentals are also close by. Coffee maker with all the goodies in room, toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, fridge with freezer, hair dryer, beach chairs and beach towels provided. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash in shower. Guests say that their favorite part is how close restaurants and the beach is from the unit.

Full Size bed, and love seat desk In the unit. There is a space heater available for use. The unit does NOT have an Air Conditioner.

My house is above the studio. The studio is 100% separate with no shared living space with my home. You have a private entrance with a special code given before check in for key access.

Other things to note
It’s a FULL size bed and I have a queen blow up mattress in the unit. The bed is low to the ground, and there is a love seat with TV trays to eat on.

There is private parking spot next to your unit and your unit is directly off the ALLEY. The main house is where I live and it’s on the same property.

The space
Our STUDIO has ONE queen bed that is comfortable and then we offer: ONE full FUTON bed that folds out and ONE twin air mattress for additional sleeping. PLEASE KNOW - It is an ideal place for 1 - 2 people or if you don’t mind kids or others sleeping on an air mattress or a FUTON couch then we don’t mind at all if you want to fit 4 people just know it’ll be a tight fit as it is a studio - one open room/no bedrooms! And if you book more than 1-2 people by your choice it should not reflect back on our rating in regards to size.

We have an EXCELLENT Air conditioning unit and Heater.

The Bathroom is VERY SMALL please look at the picture we are used to tiny living ourselves but for some this bathroom may be TOO small it could be considered the size of an RV bathroom but it is private with a shower, sink and toilet! Great set up for rinsing off after a fun day at the beach.

The STUDIO is your own open room that offers a compactible dining table inside as well as a small futon couch for watching TV and a pretty stocked mini kitchen - stovetop, little fridge, sink, coffee maker, toaster, utensils and if you need something that it might be missing, we are right next-door and can bring it over!

The Outdoor patio is small please refer to the listing pictures but it makes for a beautiful morning to sit outside and enjoy coffee.

The outdoor gate to the studio adds additional security and only opens internally please make sure you lift up on the gate as you open and close it to allow it to sit flush with the locking post .

We understand if you want privacy and it is completely set up that way. We have a fence around the studio room. THE UNIT/STUDIO IS LOCATED AND ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE ALLEY.

If you want a more involved experience we are always on site and we are happy to help! Whether it be helping physically check you in or pumping air in the bike tires or bringing over anything you need that you might have forgotten.

We love hosting and helping but will also give you your private space, just let us know when you book or arrive what you need or want!

Guest access
Parking is free and accessible right next to the studio! It is a Very well lit area for safety. You arrive through the ALLEY from either direction and our place has the designated parking spot attached to the studio. Which allows for easy access and helps with loading and unloading.

Other things to note
We provide bedding, towels, basic kitchen supplies (not paper towels as we are eco friendly but do provide: sponge, kitchen cloths and kitchen towels) beach gear, bikes, Wi-Fi! We live next door so we can accommodate and help provide you with anything you need to make your stay enjoyable! Please don’t hesitate to ask if you need something as I’m sure we have it!!! We can be as involved and interactive with your stay as you need or you never even have to see us!

Welcome to the Surfers Hideout. Our place is located 1 block to the beach. Our back gate is 70 steps to the stairway that goes down to the beach where you can relax and go for a swim in the ocean or watch the sunset. If you would like to explore the surrounding beach areas and not drive you can walk one block north of our property and go underground to the Oceanside transit center where you can take the coaster to Los Angeles or San Diego, or take an Amtrak or bus Ride for a little adventure.

The apartment is located in a small complex only six units and it’s a second-floor with ocean view from the living room and kitchen and right next to the deck.

Guest access
Our guests have access to the second floor Oceanview deck and full use of the barbecue and lounge chairs on the deck. Downstairs we have a coin laundry under the stairs you are welcome to use, and in the front of the building we have a garden patio for your enjoyment. The apartment, patio, and deck are for use of registered guests only with a maximum occupancy of four people per unit.

The space
Freshly remodeled vacation studio with contemporary accents and an eclectic mix of fresh and modern elements with boho-chic accents.

Newly renovated unit comes complete with a queen bed, a private full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and a stacked washer and dryer. This unit comes complete with a TV so you can kick back and watch all your favorite shows. Step out into the fenced-in backyard (shared yard with the main house).

7-8 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to Oceanside Harbor.
Located just a short drive from the Carlsbad flower fields and Legoland.

New propane BBQ grill is available and shared between both units.

Guest access
You have exclusive access to your unit. There is a main house that we rent that is on the same property, but they have a separate entrance and structure. Just worth noting. Both units have access to the fenced in backyard.

Other things to note
We do have some requirements for booking for you to be aware of, that help enhance your guest experience and to protect your stay:
The minimum age to book is 25.

All homes are equipped with NoiseAware, a third-party partner. This system monitors the level of noise within the home to help us comply with Good Neighbor policies. This system does not record anything in the home – it only measures the volume of noise.

Please be courteous when using the towels and linens. Excessive stains may incur additional charges for replacement. We do provide make-up removing pads for your convenience!

Lastly, please review our house rules. You will be asked to agree to them prior to booking. Note that some rules incur fees for breaking them:
No smoking in the house ($100 fee for breaking)
No parties on the premises ($200 free for breaking)
Must follow all posted quiet hours
No climbing onto the roof ($500 fee for breaking)

We have technology that ensures that our properties are continuously running smoothly. Please do not remove, unplug, or interfere with any hardware at the property. ($200 fee for breaking).

THE VIEW
The condo is located on the second floor of the B building, is accessible by elevator and stairs, and faces east over Pacific street where you can enjoy the occasional view of the trains. There is no ocean view in the condo but the excellent location of the complex itself puts you just a short walk through the complex to relax on the beach.
**Please note that the Amtrak Coaster trains run all along the California coast and are a fun part of California coastal living. They pass by but are no longer allowed to use their horns along this stretch of track. There is a noise machine provided in the condo for guests that are extra sensitive.

KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen features quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and comes fully stocked with all the basic cooking utensils you need to create any of your favorite vacation foods right from the comfort of your own condo. The dining area has a small table with seating for 4 as well as 2 spots at the bar for quick bites or younger guests.

LIVING AREAS
B210 is furnished to comfortably house 4 with a large sofa-sleeper, and two additional chairs. Snuggle up with a good book or watch a movie or show on the large 60-inch flat-screen Smart TV which you can use to log in to Netflix, Hulu, etc to stay up on your favorite shows. High-speed internet and cable with 250+ channels is also included free of charge. For the occasional cool winter day - or to create an ambiance - the living room has a gas fireplace that is fully functional for your enjoyment.
The bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom and has a walk-in shower with a rain shower head and a handheld shower wand.

SLEEPING
B210 is set up to sleep 4 guests. The master bedroom has a King size bed and a 32 “ flat-screen Smart TV with cable. Additional sleeping arrangements are found in the living room where there is a full-sized sofa sleeper. There is also a full-size air mattress if additional sleeping configurations are needed.

-This unit comes with 1 assigned parking space in the garage underneath the building.
