Easily walkable to the rocky beach, the sandy beach is a couple blocks further down the shoreline, and also very close to the downtown area. It’s nicely decorated and very clean and inviting. My only tiny tiny reservation would be the pullout couch. Although great as an extra sleeping space for our grown kids, not a great option as it’s very uncomfortable. That being said, and to be fair to our wonderful hosts, it’s a pullout… and it goes with the territory :) … so plan around it"

One of our twins is on the spectrum and he's very sensitive to noises and even new environments. Our stay at the Spanish Town home was amazing and fit all our needs. I was afraid of all the stairs with the boys, but they had so much fun going up and down, with supervision of course lol, and even improved their motor skills with stairs. They're pros now. The home does have one baby gate which the boys know to stay clear. The town home has very thing you need for the beach, to cook and even to do laundry. There were so many great features of the Town home and the online pictures don't do it justice. The view from the roof top is great and the space is so relaxing with the breeze. My favorite feature of all, they provide a pack-n-play. We were so worried our Twin whos Autistic and being able to sleep. We brought his tent from home so if he had any issues sleeping, he could sleep in his safe space where he naps. We didn't even unpack it. He slept in the pack-n-play just like he does in his own crib at home. He felt right at home at the Town home, as did we. We will most definitely be staying here again."

This vintage, hip home is in the heart of one of the coolest beach towns in Southern California. We've taken this 1950's home and completely remodeled it from the ground up. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting our unit. We are required by the City of Oceanside to enforce the Good Neighbor Policy.

Parking: The driveway is on a first-come, first-served basis with one other unit. It is not very large and typically we suggest only one car at a time park there. It is possible for each unit to park their car on the driveway if both are compact and you park very carefully. You will need to be cautious of low walls on both sides when backing up. Please do not allow your guests to park on driveway behind your car, as it may block the other units pathway for luggage, bikes etc. There is free parking on the street right out front.

The exterior was just as nice as the interior with plenty of mature cacti and other tropical trees and plants. Well-kept property shows the pride the owners have in their home away from home. The patio was delightful and of course the hot tup was the best of all. Sitting out under the stars and relaxing before calling it an evening. Our location makes it a great choice! Walk or bike to the beach, restaurants, gastro pubs, and coffee shops. Or take your bike to the strand and ride to the pier, downtown, shops, or Oceanside Harbor. Boats, jet skis, pedal boats, and stand up paddle boards can be rented at the harbor.

We are 1/2 mile west of the 5 Freeway and 1 mile from the train station.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting our unit. We are required by the City of Oceanside to enforce the Good Neighbor Policy.

Parking: The driveway is on a first-come, first-served basis with one other unit. It is not very large and typically we suggest only one car at a time park there. It is possible for each unit to park their car on the driveway if both are compact and you park very carefully. You will need to be cautious of low walls on both sides when backing up. Please do not allow your guests to park on driveway behind your car, as it may block the other units pathway for luggage, bikes etc. There is free parking on the street right out front.
