Views galore! Bright cheery cottage located on our Yoga Farm property. Mature trees, lots of quiet areas. Fruit tree orchard with several varieties. Vineyard, flower gardens, koi pond, fountain, walkways, meditation areas. The studio is recently updated and has all amenities. Wifi, covered parking area for one car. No pets.

Only 12 miles to the beach! Beautiful retreat like setting. Two fantastic patio decks with views of mountains on one side, and sunsets over the ocean on the other. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy listening to the birds and soaking up the sun! Swinging bench at the koi pond is magical. Property is used as a retreat center so sometimes there are yoga and meditation happening and you are welcome to join. Weekly yoga is taught on Wednesday and Sunday mornings and is included with your rental if desired. Many restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, cinemas, natural food markets, grocery stores and shopping within a 5 mile radius. Vista Village and train station, 5 min away. Lots of amenities, great views and attractions like Moonlight Amphitheater to take in a show or Brengle Terrace Park for walking, biking or a run. Welcome to Vista, California! The climate is considered to be temperate all year round.

This beautiful guest home is located in an established neighborhood of Vista and centrally located to a variety of attractions, such as Legoland, Seaworld, Disneyland, Wild-Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and more! Easy access to freeways (Hwy 78, 5, 15), shopping (Frazier Farms, Albertsons, Sprouts, Starbucks), dining and entertainment, and about 10 miles to the closest beaches in Carlsbad or Oceanside. Public transportation is also readily available via the Sprinter (North County Light Rail) and the Coaster/Amtrak train.

This guest house is approximately 600 square feet on private property in close proximity to the main house, which the owners (a married couple) live in. The guest home comfortably sleeps two people. It has a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with a full size shower but no tub, a functional kitchen with a gas range/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, wi-fi internet, Roku, and indoor laundry facilities. It includes a private patio with two chairs. There is adequate parking for a maximum of 2 cars to park in the driveway directly in front of the guest house.

This is a NO SMOKING and/or VAPING property.

Escape off the beaten path and reconnect with nature as you make your way up to the top of the hill and find your cozy retreat tucked within the avocado grove. Take a short hike through the grove taking in the hilltop views of the the ocean and country side. Away from the bustling city but close to all amenities, including great local wineries within 30 mins, or attractions such as San Deigo Safari Park and local beaches. This is a working avocado grove with picking season in the spring, so you may encounter grove workers. We also live on the property close by if you need anything, but also maintaining your privacy.

Casita Linda is on a half acre with views of the mountains and ocean breezes. There is secure parking. Casita has a queen bed , a full bathroom and a kitchenette has a sink, mini fridge, coffee maker and toaster oven . There is an outside sitting area under a big shade tree where you can enjoy the views. The common area has chairs, lounges, tables and the sounds of the soothing waterfall. We are 20 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from restaurants and breweries and 40 from the wine country .

OUTDOORS: You might just want to stay put at the house to have some down time with the indoor outdoor living setting, and do some BBQ. You have the full use of the entire premises with the sizable yard allowing you to park your car inside the yard. The laundry is set up outdoors on the side of the house under the shelter roofing. INDOORS:Our rustic house offers 400 square feet of newly renovated living space. New wood flooring and new cabinetry in the kitchen stainless steel appliances (no dish washer)and an open floor plan. 1 fully stocked bathroom with shower. Well appointed queen size bed has pillow options from memory foam to feather soft to choose from. A futon turns into a full size bed, and you will find extra foam and bedding right under the futon to use. also available is a air mattress if extra bed is needed.
PARKS: If you love nature you are in luck. Nestled in the northeastern part of Carlsbad, just a 4.4 miles away lies a slice of historical wilderness - an ancient volcano and a dam dating back to the Second World War. Lake Calavera Preserve is a hidden gem. Amongst the growing city of Carlsbad, Lake Calavera Preserve is 262 acres of wildlife that supports plant and animal life only found in Southern California. Hike, bike, walk or run through this amazing natural experience. Don't forget your camera. At the entrance to the preserve, is Oak Riparian Park that offers 2 brightly colored play structures. One for little ones under 5 and one for bigger kids over 5. Lots of picnic tables and grassy area for kids to run and play ball. The beauty of the area is worth a visit just in itself.

SHOPPING/GROCERY/RESTAURANT: Italian, Thai, Vietnamese, Pancake house, Pizzaria, Brewery restaurants are accessible on foot (1-2 miles); Costco, Ralph's, Wal-Mart, Ralphs, CVS, Walgreens, Food for Less, Vons near by within 1-4 miles.

- "I really enjoyed staying here. I needed a place while I finished my 2week notice at work and then I am moving out of state. Everything was lovely, clean. Host was very accessible. The only thing I would change is maybe if they someday want to add a door to the shower instead of the curtain. It kept getting in my way. And maybe a garbage disposal and/or a trash can outside. HIGHWAYS & OTHER INFO: Very close to major highways, Rt 5 & Rt 78. Close to a major tourist spots. 1 hour from Disney Land and 30 miles from Balboa Park and Torey Pines Hike.

Please note: This is not an ENTIRE HOME but a section of an entire home. There is no fully equipped kitchen indoors. The unit has a separate entrance and is not shared with anyone. POOL FEE: There is a $100 per day fee to heat the pool between October - April. Minimum 2 days are required to heat the pool to the maximum temperature.

- "Had a good time with family, the backyard entertainment was amazing. The owner was easy to communicate with and good with the small issues we had. We didn’t realize the only cooking facilities were the BBQ area outside. We needed to ask for cooking pots and pans as our plan was to cook breakfast and lunch at the house. Once we overcame the no provided stave we got food figured out. The owner was able to provide the cooking items we needed. As the kitchen was outside and no dishwasher provided the cleaning of counters and dishes needed extra attention. Even with these issues my family still said they wanted to return as the pool and hot tub were exactly what we were looking for. If the weather wasn’t as great as it was and we were stuck indoors we would have needed a new plan. "

We're located 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, which means that you'll experience more sunshine and warmer days during your visit. The I-5, I-15, and CA-78 freeways are less than 10 minutes away, so coastal and inland attractions are both within easy reach. South Carlsbad State Beach, the historic Oceanside Pier, and Legoland California are 15-20 minutes away, while the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is about a 30-minute drive. Restaurants, craft breweries, and independent shops call Vista home, so there's plenty to do and see in the immediate area.

3. Please take good care of the cottage

We use the cottage ourselves, and family and friends stay there when visiting the San Diego area, so we simply ask our Airbnb guests to take good care of the inside and outside spaces, clean up any messes as they occur, and to let us know if something breaks so that we can fix or replace it ASAP.
