Do you enjoy tasting rooms, healthy and delicious food and music? This comfortable 1940's era loft is located next to Julian Station. The Station features Colt's Burger Bar (grass-fed burgers with no hormones or antibiotics), 3 unique tasting rooms (hard cider, wine & chocolate, beer) and 5 fun shops and a gorgeous scenic back patio. The Loft is private and peaceful but still conveniently located just above Julian Station for an exciting, fun and easy stay. Although we have live music during the day and several tasting rooms, The Loft is private. Our place is very family oriented and things usually wind down around 7 pm (which is later than most places in Julian!). The Craft Beer Tap & Tasting room is open until around 8 pm but you won't hear anything from The Loft. We are adjacent to Highway 78 and a peaceful rural dirt road named Orchard Lane which offers scenic strolls and amazing views. We are also in walking distance from many other attractions in the Wynola area of Julian including restaurants, gold panning, a petting zoo and pumpkin patch, hay rides, 2 pie shops and 2 antique malls. We have so much to do on site at Julian Station, including:

The quiet neighborhood has a noise curfew firmly in place. Please, no outside noise or inside loud music or tv, before 8am and after 9pm.

Please be prepared with tire chains during high storm conditions, there not always needed but at times, it’s required.

magnificent pines of Julian give way to a High Chaparral landscape
with native Junipers, Desert Willows and mixed with Agave, Cacti

The Main Highway is the Great Overland Stage Route of 1849, from
where a private drive takes you to a secluded cottage in Adobe Style
and dedicated to the Native Indian Kokopelli figure, the flute
player who brings luck, charm and mischief.

Julian, the Gold Mining Town, beckons to be explored just 20
minutes to the west, Borrego Springs, 20 minutes to the north east,
offers the desert ambience with golf courses, club houses and
restaurants. To the south you might try a dip in the Agua Caliente
Hot Springs, or experience the freedom of soaring with a sailplane
from Warner Springs Sail Plane Airport 25 minutes to the northwest.

For the R&R enthusiast there are many books to read, movies to

Reni recommended various places or interest, restaurants, and even which way to orient our seats to get the clearest view of the stars. Recently redesigned, this 750 square foot bungalow is perfect for a romantic get-a-away or for a small family of four who wants to experience going back to a gentler time.

The Story Book Barn was indeed the original barn on the property and has been
renovated into a full service cottage. And features a California King Bed with twin sofa
pullout. Enjoy meals at the kitchen bar which divides the full service kitchen from the
bedroom. The beds face a 55′′ flat screen TV with Dish service.
Enjoy the full service kitchen with stove, oven, full size refrigerator. We provide coffee, tea, and a coffee maker. We make your meal preparation easy by offering utensils, pots and pans.
The private patio from the kitchen offers serenity to enjoy over 5 acres of open views
and mountains from the patio.
The bathroom offers a full size glass shower and while modest in size offers all the
amenities you would need such as toiletries, and high quality towels.

- "Family getaway for a wedding, place was super cute, clean, had everything we needed!! Plenty of blankets and towels, beautiful views too!! Only thing I’d recommend is having queen size beds in rooms. My husband and I fit but were cramped and we had our 2 teenage sons both tall and only one could sleep in bed and other on couch . Pics made beds look bigger, other than that we were fine for our 2 night stay and would love to stay again maybe just my husband and I though! Haha!"

The Cottage was built in 1896 and has been restored as the guest house on a 40 acre property. It has a full kitchen, three bedrooms (3 queen) and two bathrooms. You can enjoy a cozy fireplace in the winter months or the pond and English Garden for Spring and Summer pleasures. You can stroll through the orchards or visit the two ponds, vineyard and "The Ruins." In the Fall, you can pick apples and pears or help harvest the grapes from the vineyard. you may also like to visit the town of Julian, go for a hike or just relax on the porch and enjoy the scenery.

This is a 200 sq ft tiny cottage that has a lofted bed, kitchenette, couch, and full bathroom.
Our space is suitable for two adult. Not suitable for infants, toddlers, or children due to the height and features of the loft.

Upon arrival guests can pull into the side gate and park close to the cottage in the designated space labeled “Parking-1”

A charming studio cabin, cozy for two, nestled in the woods with a large viewing deck and covered parking space. Experience the simplicity of tiny-home living, with outdoor space to stretch your legs. Here, you will relax and be inspired by the unobstructed vistas while tucked in amongst statuesque mature oaks and pines. Check your carrier for cell service in this area. The cottage does not have a home WiFi system. We are happy to make alternative arrangements if needed.
You will also enjoy the quaint spaces around the property to sit, watch nature unfold, and observe wildlife as it wanders by. Spend evenings dining on the deck or wrapping up to watch sunsets and stargaze. The private, quiet setting will provide ample space for peaceful contemplation.
The mini galley kitchen is well designed and stocked with all the tools and cooking basics to create simple meals. We provide coffee, creamer, and sugar for your morning ritual. Or bring your favorite loose leaf or ground bean for your own custom cup. This petite space quickly warms up with a 2 high-efficiency electric fan heaters to make things toasty. A loveseat is a perfect place to enjoy a warm drink, spend time on your devices sending correspondence, or watch your favorite show. The owners have thoughtfully decorated the studio with handmade pillows and arts and crafts in a country theme.

Just a short drive into Julian, and you find shops, markets, and eateries to pick up essentials or enjoy dining out. Also nearby, do not miss award-winning wineries, mind-blowingly beautiful state or county parks, and other local attractions. We have a welcome book with information about the studio and Julian that offers suggestions to help you find what you want.
