The appliances are stainless steel and includes a gas stove/oven, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, a toaster, a blender, a Keurig coffee maker, an electric kettle and all the cooking kitchen basics like pans, pots, hand mixer, baking dishes, plates, bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups, cooking tools and silverware. We also provide, salt, pepper, basic spices and oil.

Hello there, a little about us

My husband Allen and I will be your hosts while you visit us. We have been married for 34 years. We met in the hospitality industry and worked in that field for many years. Little did we know that would be great training for our new adventure as hosts for the cottages.
Love God, camping, trees, country music, animals, cooking shows, Chip and Joanna Gaines in Texas, vintage anything especially vintage trailers! We have a 1979 Avion (airstreams cousin)
And a cute little 1955 canned ham Roadliner that we take to the beach for camping.

Life motto is " everything will be all right in the end and if its not all right, its not the end"

We bought this farm style home in Vista 25 years ago and love our little mini farm on four acres.
I have always wanted a bed and breakfast way back when I was a child.
My grandma grew up on a farm in Kansas and she passed on the love of it to me.
We are at the end of a cul de sac, on top of a hill with breath taking views. A country/rural setting but near everything.
I love design and I worked at Michaels as the floral designer for over 11 years. Semi retied now focusing on my rescue Yorkshire Terriers, Chickens, quilt making, sewing and crochet.
Our hearts are for animals, especially dogs and we rescue Yorkshire Terriers because we are crazy about this breed!
Ps we keep the yorkies in a separate yard with the chickens, do not enter their area as one is protective and fearful of strangers.
We have some beautiful show chickens and raise hens for eggs. We call it pets with benefits.

Casita Linda is on a half acre with views of the mountains and ocean breezes. There is secure parking. The Casita is accessible via a private gated entrance. The property has nice walking trails with some hills for extra exercise.

My husband and I live on the property above the Casita so available for any questions or requests. The property is situated on 3 acres and very private with separate gate and privacy wall.

We require weekly cleaning for any stay exceeding 7 days for an additional $100. This ensures the Casita is well maintained.

We also require $100 for any additional guests staying overnight or past 11 pm. No more than 5 people total at the Casita.

The kitchen was particularly well stocked to be able to cook- it even had an air fryer. The unit is upstairs over another apartment behind a home in a residential area so it was very quiet. Nestled within the rolling hills of Vista, we are 15-20 mins from the beach. Our neighbors have a rooster so you will hear the pleasant crow in the morning & occasional dusk crow. Definitely the best of both quiet mountain living & quick drive to the sand. A walk away from our local park & outdoor theater, Brengle Terrace Park and Moonlight Theater, where you can play disc golf, have a picnic, play basketball, pickle ball, or tennis. There's even a jungle gym for the kids. You can hear the musical rehearsals, performances, & events at Moonlight Theater being an open air stage but not after 10:30 pm. We are located between Legoland and the Safari Park for your visit with the kiddos. Reasonable stays helped me when I was a young professional looking for adventure or R&R, and it has been a great time providing a place for the like-minded since 2016.

Staying in the yurt is like glamping, not quite roughing it as camping, and you should know the bathroom is NOT in the yurt. It is 7 quick steps in the main house and this bathroom is for guests only. I tend to like to let guests enjoy their privacy, but am a quick text away for anything you may need.

any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits,

➣ Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; please be respectful of the neighbors

➣ Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible
➣ NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed
➣ There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund
➣ Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them
➣ Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)
➣ As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property
➣ The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit or through Airbnb resolutions if you booked via Airbnb
