The studio is bright and airy; windows and skylights provide lots of natural light but black out shades provide darkness when you want to sleep in. We've tried to provide everything we like in a home-away-from home! The modern kitchen has what's generally needed to prepare, cook and store food, but if there's an additional appliance you like to use, we're happy to lend it. The furnishings are contemporary, and we're told that the bed and bath linens are especially comfy. Washer and dryer are on property. Store your golf clubs, bike or surf/paddle board in the secure garage. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella are provided, and there is an outdoor shower to wash off sand. Off-street driveway parking spot is included.

The studio is located above our detached garage. You access it by entering our shared, enclosed courtyard, then have one flight of stairs to your front door and private deck. Motion detector lights illuminate your way after dark.

Although our setting is generally very tranquil, there are noises out of our control that we would like you to be aware of. Trains occasionally traverse the Peñasquitos Lagoon valley and sometimes aircraft from MiraMar Airbase stray from their normal flight path. All these occurrences are commonplace in coastal Del Mar; we hope they won't impact your stay with us.

The best NY pizza west of New York is 5 minutes away by foot. 5 good restaurants within walking distance. Beach is also walking distance or you can park using the hosts Annual Pass at no charge. Also easy access to US Highway 5 to visit all of San Diego

The Beach Colony is sought after for its long stretches of white sandy beaches, great waves for boogie boarding or surfing, yet gentle shore break for little ones to play at the water`s edge. Easy walk into Del Mar or go North to Cedros/Solana Beach. Race Track/Fairgrounds are less than a mile a way. Shopping, dining, freeway access all very accessible.

Lisa, the host, was fantastic. Her handyman was also. There is a private entrance to the property's patio which made this unit extra special compared to others we saw. We have a seven year old and wanted some private outside space for them. We loved having access to the resort but also having the amenities of a private residence. The laundry room was next door to the unit. It is coin operated but offered an additional service to use a credit card. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything you would need to cook during your stay. We walked to a park, playground, beach, restaurants, shops. Everything else we needed was less than a 10 minute drive. We are already planning our next trip back."

If you are inclined to walk 3 doors down, you can sit on the sea wall and enjoy a full ocean view. The Mindful Cottage is a cozy and relaxing spot to get away from it all.

You will have full and private use of the guest cottage and upstairs patio. Grassy area in front is for your enjoyment as well.

Walking to town and beach is about 1/2 mile. Most of San Diegos attractions require a car.

This is a guest cottage in the rear of a main home. The two properties are not connected. You will enter from the alley (main house enters off of 9th Street). The only interaction you may encounter is when they cross the lawn to empty trash or get beach gear. All their living and outdoor space faces 9th Street.

Del Mar Woods is located in the quiet southwestern part of Olde Del Mar near 4th Street by the ocean with easy access to La Jolla and is also convenient to I-5 and the 805 which will take you to many of the Southern California attractions. Besides the beautiful beaches, there are also many hiking and biking trails in the area. If you are here to work, it is an easy commute to the various business parks in Del Mar, La Jolla and San Diego. There is a commuter train at the nearby Solana Beach train station to transport you to Los Angeles or various stops en-route or beyond. You may also choose to visit Mexico which is a mere 38 miles to the South. You really won't want to leave! Fortunately, you can come back again and again.

- "This condo was exactly the way it was advertised. The owner spared no expense in creating a very comfortable vacation paradise. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen very well stocked. We enjoyed many meals at the large glass top table while watching the sunset. The automatic shade that was installed on the balcony was fantastic! It made a huge difference during the afternoon and evening. The balcony was a great place to relax and read a book. My children enjoyed relaxing by the pool and I took advantage of the gym. We really appreciated the two assigned parking spots. Kim was quick to respond to any question or concern. The condo wasn’t exactly near restaurants, but within walking distance. Live the Dream in Del Mar at this charming and spacious condo. Light, bright and spacious best describes this casually comfortable condo. Located 1 block to the beach!! Walking distance to the Village of Del Mar and Cedros Design District. Del Mar Dream has recently undergone renovations: New Kitchen, flooring, paint, fireplace, laundry room have created a wonderful gathering space for our guests.

Del Mar Dream comfortably sleeps 4 adults and can accommodate additional guest on the sofa or infant/toddler in a pack-n-play. Both bathrooms have 2 sinks each. The master bath (ensuite) has a shower stall and the guest bath has a shower/tub combination. The kitchen is fully stocked, we have beach equipment for your enjoyment as well. The condo is located on the 2nd floor, end unit. It is single level inside. We do have an elevator (in addition to stairs) for access.

The Beach Colony is a highly coveted area due to its easy walkability and close and easy beach access. This area is all flat and great for all ages.

Sea Forest is thoughtfully designed with a easy going boho theme, and bespoke furnishing. This home has everything you need to enjoy time with your family or get a little work done. You’ll have access to the pool, hot-tub, and tennis courts. In addition, this home is fully furnished with pots, pans, and dishes to feel fully at home. There are two smart tvs that will give you access to Spectrum TV, Disney+, ESPN, Hulu and Netflix. This home also has high speed networking for remote work. The 6 person dining space makes it easy to have family gatherings. There is also a table with bar stools for outdoor eating and a seating space on the patio. There is guest access to the pool, hot tub, sauna and tennis courts. There is an external bbq and eating area next to the pool. I am happy with whatever they prefer! Del Mar is a beach town in San Diego County, California, located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Established in 1885 as a seaside resort, the city incorporated in 1959. The Del Mar Horse Races are hosted on the Del Mar racetrack every summer. About a block away are the bluffs. Downtown shopping, including eating and coffee, and the beach is less than a mile away. I do recommend a car for the area. Though not required, you will need to do a significant bit of walking for groceries.
