We had originally planned to stay here for 5 nights, but after the first night we checked out. I found someone’s shareware hung over the shower, hair in the bathtub, so I assume the bathroom was not cleaned at all after the last quests had been there. One of the beds did not have a sheet fully covering the mattress, which was disgusting to see. I also got woken up around 9:30 or 10:00 PM by people yelling and slamming the door next to us. This went on for about an hour and when I called the front desk they told me it was because someone had just checked in next to us. The next morning when I looked at the door, it wasn’t for a guest room. I asked one of the staff members what the room was and he said it’s for the hotel staff. I asked for a refund from hotels.com and they were able to get that back for me. We were able to find another hotel, which saved our trip. "

The one bedroom condo was clean, updated and suited our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ocean view we had from our patio and we thoroughly enjoyed that. The location is essentially in front of the “Carlsbad Village” sign and walking distance to plenty of shops and incredible restaurants and dining options.
