The next morning when I looked at the door, it wasn’t for a guest room. I asked one of the staff members what the room was and he said it’s for the hotel staff. I asked for a refund from hotels.com and they were able to get that back for me. We were able to find another hotel, which saved our trip. "

The one bedroom condo was clean, updated and suited our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ocean view we had from our patio and we thoroughly enjoyed that. The location is essentially in front of the “Carlsbad Village” sign and walking distance to plenty of shops and incredible restaurants and dining options. The underground parking was super convenient also. The beach is about a 3 minute walk. It can’t get any better than that! Thank you for a fantastic stay! We look forward to returning!"

Large, comfortable, clean, beach cottage.
This is a single family home, no shared space with a small garage, and parking area attached to the house. We are located across the Street from Tamarack Beach.
The price quoted is for a family of 4, the 5th and 6th person will be an extra charge. The coaster train is a great way to travel to downtown, or other beach cities, also the horse races, or fair. It's walking distance to the station, or ample parking at the station. There's over 70 restaurants, and shopping in the village, which is walking distance from the house.
If you are coming to see the flower fields, we are 1.5 miles away. They are usually open from March to Early May.

Beautiful view inside and outside of the beach, and sunsets. Easy access to the beach, which is a 2 minute walk, and few stairs, or ramp, and your on the sand. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, enclosed patio for little ones safety yard for kids to play. Clean and convenient beach/coastal neighborhood. A grass front yard for enjoying the water views also. Ocean views from the front room, kitchen, and front bedroom. This is not a party house, but a family house. Carlsbad was voted one of the top family beaches in the U.S. Nice large kitchen with an eating area that seats 6. Outdoor patio with barbecue and table seats 6 also. Outdoor hot and cold shower. Full size washer/dryer, firepit, and barbecue, all with ocean view. Walk to the Village to have dinner and shop. Shop at the outlet mall 2 miles away, or large shopping mall 4 miles away. Legoland is less than 3 miles from the house. We provide sand chairs, umbrella's, beach towels, boogie boards, ice cooler, and a wagon for carrying it all.

- "Pros Location close to beach access, great for viewing sunsets and people watching. Great outdoor space - deck w/fire pit, dining area and grassed area. Large off-road parking space, easy to unload baggage from vehicle into house. Lots of beach items in very good condition - we noted 6 chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, plenty of kids toys, boogie boards and a wagon too. Interior of house decorated in a beachy theme and was quite well equipped. There are a few steps from living room to kitchen, then kitchen to bedrooms, so not all on one level but very manageable. Laundry room was great for doing a midweek wash and pods were provided. Good lighting in the house and showers had good water pressure. Owners living next door, so close if any issues arise. Both very friendly. Prompt communication. Possible Cons - The beds were a little too soft for us with the mattress toppers, but others may find them OK. Noise from the road can be loud, but you have to expect that given the close proximity to ocean. We got used to it after a couple of days. Overall a great place for a beach holiday."

Enjoy the sunsets and unobstructed ocean views in this 1923 California style beach house. The house is located on Carlsbad Boulevard (Coast Highway 101) and has been refurbished by family members who have lived here since 1953. Now it is used as our vacation home available to you when vacant. Main rooms all look onto the Pacific Ocean, where surfers, boaters, dolphin and whales can be seen.
A walkway above the bluff and stairs to the walkway and State Beach below reveal miles of white sandy beach for sunbathing, swimming, bodyboarding, or surfing. Some beach equipment is provided, but a surf rental shop is 3 blocks to the north. Two of the photos here attempt to show the proximity of the house to the beach.

Carlsbad's old village ambiance, Lego-Land, Flower Fields, Outlet stores and nearby malls, Oceanside Harbor with its boat trips, fishing from the pier, golfing at local courses, the Museum of Making Music, are just a few of the many ways to enjoy yourself while staying in Carlsbad.

The suite is fully furnished, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We provide all linens and beach towels. We also have beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Boogie Boards, sand toys which are shared with other renters. We have plenty of extras in our inventory if needed.

There is no carpeting -- just luxurious porcelain floors. Slab quartz counters, European Hans Grohe Rain Showers, washer and dryer in unit. Did we mention the game room? Pinball, video games, Foosball and shuffleboard.

The Surf Suite (2 bedroom/2 bath) may be rented independently or combined with the Sand Suite (1 bedroom/1 bath) to create a 3 bedroom/3 bath suite.

They also provide an air mattress that is quite comfortable & stays inflated!! Location is hard to beat for the price, neighbor hood is quiet & clean w/ a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, shops etc... One bonus for us was all the beach gear they provide like chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & very large beach towels. They also provide 2 parking spots. We reccommend nothing larger than a sedan as the parking in the drive way can be a bit cramped. They property manager was very friendly and promptly replied to all inquiries. Designed with large families and groups in mind, this 2,000 square foot home offers plenty of space for 10 guests, with four bedrooms located on the second floor plus a large sectional couch in the living room. Each bedroom has a fan and high quality beds to ensure maximum comfort and quality sleep.

Master Bedroom offers a comfortable King Bed with Smart TV to enjoy complimentary streaming services in bed. Equipped with a cooling ceiling fan and plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings.

With a fully stocked kitchen and new appliances, cooking at home will be a breeze. The cabinets and drawers are stocked with all the cookware, dishwater, and utensils you and your little ones will need. We even provide coffee for our Keurig Coffee Maker along with creamer and splenda. You can find salt, pepper and cooking oil here as well. Enjoy your home cooked meals in the large dining area; the solid wood dining table comfortably seats 6 with the ability to add a leaf to host for 10 people. There are three parking spots available: two in the driveway and one in the garage. We also share a long driveway with the ADU tenant so additional parking may be used there in addition to the street.

You will be given a key code for the smart lock, so no need to keep track of keys. There’s also a security camera on the home’s exterior to ensure safety at all times.

☀ Guests can expect to hear noise from nearby train that runs through all coastal beach towns in North County. Majority of our guests never report it to be an issue. You can request ear plugs prior to your stay if you feel you will need them.

☀ The home has an exterior security camera above the garage. It is not located inside the home and only monitors the exterior of the property. There is an approved decibel monitor on the ceiling of the kitchen. It only measures sound and not what anyone is saying. This is only to prevent large parties that would disturb the community. Both will be on during your stay.

☀We have an additional rental agreement that is required to be signed after booking your reservation. We also collect a copy of your government ID/license that is required by our insurance company to have on file. We reserve the right to cancel reservations if these requirements are not met within 24 hours of booking.

Sometimes I am here or a co host is but we give lots of privacy and it may feel like you are here alone as there are many wings to each room corner of the house, east, west, south, north. Typically I work or am in the kitchen but have minimal to no interaction but that can change when I see less patients in my practice. Thank you for not expecting a private relationship but enjoy the beauty of this home and location. Peace and rare quiet this close to the beach. Walking canton trails out my door.

Other things to note
Quiet upscale neighborhood with private professional neighbors who appreciate not parking in front of their properties, so you may park in front or back of mine. They can be friendly but are also very busy and get up early so we have a peaceful quiet place for studying or working, but also sightseeing and a very beautiful area and a sacred street with beach breeze comes down our hill and great air and sky. If the home requires any repair, adjustment or replacement during your stay, or an item falls during your stay, Seasons Vacation Rental. LLC. will do our best to remedy, repair or replace in a reasonable time frame, at a minimum inconvenience to your party. However, “reasonable” may not mean that it is fixed as fast as you wish or even during your stay. For instance, if the ice maker goes out, we will call the appliance company, but the repair could take time, depending on the availability of parts. Many items will not be treated as emergencies even though they are unfortunate. For example, if a TV goes out, we will take the TV for repair and replace if not repairable. The space
The curtains are blackout and thermal. Plenty of storage under the bed including two zip up pull out storage containers. Three deep drawers in closet as well as two additional deep drawers in the bed side table.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire shared home including the fenced in back yard, family room, dining room, kitchen and garage. The garage is fully finished with an epoxy floor. Additional locking cabinet storage is also available in the garage.

This bedroom is available for monthly rent.

It includes a private sink and vanity area for added privacy. The toilet and shower are shared with just one other person, and you’ll have access to shared common areas as well.

Located in the highly desirable Aviara community of Carlsbad, this home is within walking distance of Batiquitos Lagoon and just a short drive to Carlsbad State Beach. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

Enjoy surfing and/or stand-up paddling AND you get ten dollars off of stand-up paddle lessons (flat water or surf) from "2 Stand Up Guys" founded by my brother!
Legoland, Museum of Music Making, Flower Fields, and outlet malls are just a few miles down the road. Carlsbad is home to 3 wonderful 18 hole golf courses: Aviara, La Costa and The Crossings with many others a short drive away. Del Mar racetrack, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park are not far. Mexico is an hour south and Disneyland an hour north. Hollywood is an hour and half north. You will be rewarded with great value, seamless accommodations, and great memories if you stay here! With American Leather Sofa (very comfortable queen bed) we can easily accommodate two couples or family with children. Business guests welcome as are athletes training for the Carlsbad marathon etc. Carlsbad is a great place to visit ALL YEAR ROUND.

Unit shares a partial wall with owner-occupied main house, but has a completely separate entry and total privacy.

Please note the unit does not have a full kitchen, but does have a kitchenette!
