It is a very nice modern comfortable place. Very clean upon arrival, check in process & entry was seamless. The unit is well stocked w/ everything you could need or want (paper towels, soaps, TP, body wash, trash bags). Plenty of dishes and cook ware. The beds were comfortable w/ lots of pillows. They also provide an air mattress that is quite comfortable & stays inflated!! Location is hard to beat for the price, neighbor hood is quiet & clean w/ a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, shops etc... One bonus for us was all the beach gear they provide like chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & very large beach towels. They also provide 2 parking spots. We reccommend nothing larger than a sedan as the parking in the drive way can be a bit cramped. They property manager was very friendly and promptly replied to all inquiries. The suite is fully furnished, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We provide all linens and beach towels. We provide plenty beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Boogie Boards, sand toys. These are shared with other renters, and we always have extras in our inventory.

There is no carpeting -- just luxurious porcelain floors. Slab quartz counters, European Hans Grohe Rain Showers, washer and dryer in unit. Did we mention the game room? Pinball, video games, Foosball and shuffleboard.

The Sand Suite (1 bedroom/1 bath) may be rented independently or combined with the Surf Suite (2 bedroom/2 bath) to create a 3 bedroom/3 bath suite.

This is a private, ground floor suite that is attached to our main house but with a private entrance. The courtyard is tranquil with several fountains and newly installed fire pit. Guests have access to the courtyard and the suite with attached full bathroom and closet. There is no access to the main house or it's backyard. Note there is no kitchen or laundry but there is a microwave and a refrigerator . I will usually be here to greet you upon arrival, and bid you farewell on the morning of your departure. For anything you may need during your stay, don't hesitate to contact me as I am most likely not far away. Just FYI, our price is not negotiable. The cleaning fee is based on a 30 day stay and will be adjusted for longer stays.

- "My kids really enjoyed the activities and their time in the kids pool. My 7 year old said the place was really nice and she liked that there was a TV in every room. The proximity to Legoland made it so easy to get there and back. When I was at the adult pool, I could not hear the kids pool noise at all. My only complaint was that the people above me allowed their children to run through their unit before 7 in the morning every morning we were there. I complained to the front desk who said they would let the people know. However, the next morning the same thing happened again. Keep in mind that it did not bother me when they kids were running around during the day. The front desk personnel we're friendly and helpful. I made the reservation, but my sister checked in and this went off very smoothly."

This unit was designed and built for privacy and comfort. You may rarely see us but we're here for you if you need us. Keyless entry allows to to arrive whenever you like. Lighted entry up to front door. Lovely balcony for morning coffee or evening glass of wine while you watch the sunset. Studio will be perfectly clean and ready for you. Washer/dryer in garage (under) for your exclusive use. A patio at the entry is for your exclusive use. There is a walk-in closet and a desk being added if you have to work while enjoying the San Diego coast. The space is comfortable, decorated in peaceful, neutral colors. Everything you need is there. If it isn't, please ask. There is a 44" TV with access to most streaming services. There is also a Bluetooth speaker for music. The counter height refrigerator and small appliances will allow you to prepare meals but there is no stove. The area is a family neighborhood and very quiet and safe. The unit is about 3 miles from some of the most beautiful beaches imaginable. About 4 miles to LegoLand, 20 miles to San Diego Zoo, 25 miles to SeaWorld, the quaint villages of Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, and Oceanside. Carlsbad Outlet Mall is about 5 miles away. But, beyond all of that, the weather is pretty nice most days. Average temperatures range from 63F to 74F. Nights can get down in the 40's sometimes, so bring a jacket or sweater. We don't have much rain but it's possible particularly in the winter or during an El Nino, you may need an umbrella. I'll always do my best to insure a good stay. There is one off street parking space in my driveway. Super host on other short term rental platforms as well as 5 star reviews from every guest for 5 years. There are 14 stairs to the entry so anyone with ambulation issues may have a difficult time navigating them. No pets please due to allergies and my own dog on the property who is territorial and barks at other dogs. No smoking of any kind.

- "We travel every January to SoCal to recharge and reset. Jenna's condo offered a quiet cul-du-sac location with marina and laguna views. We very much enjoyed the open floor plan of the common areas - light, bright and airy. Deck off the living area provides a lovely vista view of the surrounding nature preserve. We would watch the kite surfers, paddle boarders, and neighborhood seal lion and birds take advantage of the lovely tranquil waters.Kitchen was well stocked for all of our culinary and entertaining needs. Unlike other properties that we have rented in the past, Jenna keeps a variety of spices on hand. Ample supply of cleaning supplies are provided as well.Washer/Dryer was thoughtfully tucked away out of line of sight in the 2nd bedroom closet. Beds were comfortable and linens were up to date. There were plenty of blankets available in case it got chilly.We appreciated the good water pressure in the roomy showers as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.Jenna and her team were super responsive and we NEVER had an issue with communication. If you love to explore food and coffee, Carlsbad Village, a one mile (borrowed) bike ride or walk along the beach, has a great nightlife and delicious breakfast places.

The space
The duplex style home has a partially fenced yard. The laundry is on the patio and is not a shared laundry. It is only for you. There's a BBQ on patio, table and chairs and an outdoor sofa. It is perfect for outdoor dining.

Wifi is included as well as the utilities. However with the electric, there is NO Electric car hookup. If someone charges their car in a regular outlet there will be an additional fee for that.

One large big screen TV in the unit, all the kitchen amenities, bedding and linens included. It is a full kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave. However there is NO dishwasher. Unfortunately no space for that!

Please leave the bathroom window open 6"-8" for ventilation of the moisture even though there is a fan in the bathroom. Thank-you

There is a wall heater and thermostat, however no air conditioning. The afternoon breezes off of the coast are super enjoyable!

Feel free to take the chairs and boogey board to the beach. The BBQ has a propane tank that has a turn handle on it and after each use please turn it off so it saves propane.

This Guest Agreement is intended to help you enjoy a comfortable, safe, and convenient experience. Please read the following agreement in its entirety before booking your stay! Please treat our homes with the care you would at your own home and abide by following policies:

NOISE AND NO PARTIES: Please be respectful to the property and neighbors. As with most homes, this is in a neighborhood with full time residents and families. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED. If evidence shows that more people were at the residence than what was on the reservation, we have the right to immediate eviction with a minimum of a $500 fee plus the total balance of the reservation. THIS IS A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY! If the police are called by the neighbors, you will receive a citation from the city with a fine associated, and we will have to evict. The guest is responsible for any fines imposed by the city for excessive noise or other fines imposed due to their stay. No Noise that can be heard beyond the home lot line or in adjacent units, or any illegal activity may occur at the home.

THERMOSTAT: Do not set the thermostat(s) below 70 degrees as it will not cool any faster, and could freeze up the system, causing damage to the units. If the air conditioner(s) are set below 70 degrees, resulting in damages to the system(s), the guest will be charged for any necessary repairs to the system(s).

PETS: No pets are allowed unless you have requested and cleared it with the property manager prior to your stay. Fee is $100 per pet.

SMOKING: No smoking is allowed in the home. Fine is $500.

CLEANING: Please use common courtesy at the home by keeping it clean, reporting any problems or damages, washing dishes as used, starting the dishwasher, taking garbage to the outside bins, leaving towels in the bathrooms and sheets in the bedrooms, and not re-arranging furniture.

POOL & BBQ: Please be advised that pools can be dangerous! Guests should always observe common safety precautions and supervise all children. Lifeguards are not provided and diving is not permitted. Decks and patios can be slippery when wet and can result in injury to anyone who is not careful. Guest accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of a pool, BBQ and deck areas. Please do not use glass near the pool. Broken glass in a pool is not only a danger for our guests, but does severe damage to the pool, requiring it be fully drained. In the event this occurs, guests will be charged $500 to cover this cost.

MAINTENANCE AND ACCESS We will give you privacy during your stay. However, we reserve the right to enter the property at any time during guest stay if necessary for disturbances to the neighborhood, emergencies, or maintenance issues. We will diligently attempt to address maintenance issues as they occur.

WEATHER AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS The home owner and property manager do not accept liability for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, electricity or plumbing, damage caused by weather/road conditions, natural disasters, or other reasons beyond its control. We reserve the right to refund at our discretion or offer to relocate you to another home should any such unforeseen event occurs.

INDEMNITY The property owner and manager do not assume any liability for loss, theft, damage or injury to guest, his/her guests or other occupants in the home. The guest, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors and administrators, fully releases and discharges the homeowner and property manager from any claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the guest, his/her guests or other occupants of the home as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the home, and agrees to hold the homeowner and property manager free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, or their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

Our getaway is very comfortable and cozy with two bedrooms and one bath that sleeps up to 4. The ocean view bedroom has a King bed you can fall asleep to the sound of the surf. The second spacious bedroom has a queen bed with sounds of the ocean to soothe you to sleep as well. The kitchen has been totally redone with granite countertops, new appliances, and new cabinets. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, disposal, and built in microwave. The living room is equipped with a flat screen television. Free High Speed WiFi connection is included. All kitchen items, towels, linens, beach chairs, sand toys umbrella, and boogie boards are available for your use.
