Relax and rejuvenate in this private quiet hilltop, in a very quiet and safe family neighborhood (we don't lock our cars at night).
Sitting atop a hill with views of San Diego's east county, this space has a mountain-cabin vibe with modern facilities and amenities (see photos). Sleep soundly to the sound of crickets on a new, Queen-size SleepNumber bed, after a nice soak in the bathroom's Jacuzzi tub.

THE SPACE: This private efficiency apartment is completely stand-alone, with its own bathroom, kitchenette, entrance, and patio. This unit was recently completely remodeled and is fresh and super clean.
You'll feel like you're at home with heating, AC, TV, Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchenette - it's large and features a refrigerator, 2-burner electric stove, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, cutlery, pans, pots, wine opener, can opener, salt/pepper, and paper towels. And we've pre-stocked the fridge with bottled water and fresh Starbucks coffee beans!
The single bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a brand new spring-coil mattress and high-quality bedding, a large closet, two nightstands, and two small cabinets to store your stuff. The sparkling bathroom is also stocked with towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner, has plenty of cabinets and storage, and has a Jacuzzi bathtub!
There is a washer/dryer on the premises. It is $5 a load, and detergent and dryer sheets are provided. You even have use of our outdoor BBQ (on the main patio).
For business travelers, we also offer wireless access to a laser printer and scanner.
GUEST ACCESS: The whole house! It has its own parking, entrance, courtyard, and an amazing view. (You are assigned one Guest Parking Space; for more vehicles, we have ample street parking.)
INTERACTIONS WITH GUESTS: We live next-door and are almost always home. We are just a text message away if you need anything at all. Our family is very friendly and enjoys interacting with our guests.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Our neighborhood is in the quiet suburbs of East San Diego County, a single-family residential area called El Cajon. It is super safe; in fact, we don't even lock our cars at night. The property is generally sunnier than the coast, while still enjoying easy access to beaches, mountains & deserts. Nearby restaurants, malls, and grocery stores in Santee (7 minutes away). Beach access is only about 25 minutes, on the 52 or the 8.
DRIVING: We are just a quick 4 minutes from the I-52 and I-8 freeways, providing easy access to everywhere.
TRANSIT: While a bus stop is just a 10-minute walk away, keep in mind that San Diego's public transportation system is terrible; you are far better off renting a car at the local Enterprise car rental place for approx. $25/day.
Nearby food options are extremely diverse, including BBQ, Mexican, burgers, global cuisines from Japanese to Lebanese, and major chains such as Denny's, Mimi's, Olive Garden, Starbucks. It is just 30 minutes away from the beaches at La Jolla Cove, La Jolla Shores, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, and Mission Bay.

French doors, Full kitchen and Bath. Pea gravel patio, chairs, umbrellas and views of the mountains . Plenty of light for reading or just looking out at the beautiful surrounding ranch and mountains. Close to casinos shopping, dinning, brew house, golf, and so much more. Just 35 minutes to beaches and airport. 4 miles to freeway 8. The Studio is located behind the main house and has it's own private entrance.

Strategically located close to SDSU and Sharp Grossmont Hospital and just a quick 20-minute drive to the beach and downtown, it provides easy access to the city's main destinations. This apartment boasts a private bedroom with a plush queen bed and one bathroom—as well as plenty of space to relax and socialize. There is a queen sized pull out sofa in the living room as well! There is plenty of free street parking and even a personal parking spot included with the rental. This neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I have yet to see anything abnormal around in the neighborhood. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful so you can expect a safe environment for your stay
El Cajon is the east area of San Diego. We are about 25 minutes from the beaches. Street parking is always open, there are always multiple spots within 100 ft from the house.

Any additional fees/costs incurred directly due to an unplanned/uncommunicated Late Checkout will also be requested for reimbursement from the guest :)
There will be 4 total access devices (Keys/Garage Openers) that will be provided during your stay. First will be a set of 2 hard keys that will be for the Pool/Hot Tub, Gym, Laundry Room, & Dumpster areas that will be found on the kitchen counter at checkin. Next will be 2 Garage Clickers for the main property gate so you can have access while utilizing vehicles, also found on the kitchen counter at checkin. If any one of these 4 items are lost or damaged beyond repair during your stay, it will be an immediate $175 charge for EACH individual access item to be replaced :)
We are not responsible for any closures, unforeseen or planned, of any building amenities (including temporary or indefinite water/power outages & restrictions related to COVID-19 regulations). Due to such closures, refunds will not be given. Please also note that pools are seasonal and we are not responsible for any refunds due to pool closures or maintenance :)
We allow 1 pet and there is a $250 fully refundable Pet Deposit required, including for service dogs, to cover any accidental damage to the furniture, walls, floors, or unit. Payment can be sent via Zelle or Venmo and the deposit is fully refunded within 24 hours after checkout and inspection of the unit. If the unit does require any amount of additional cleaning such as for hair removal, or damage repairs, etc then all costs associated will be deducted directly from the $250 pet deposit. The animal must be under 35 lbs. Animals are treated as an extra guest, therefore there is an additional $35 charge per pet per night which can also be sent through Zelle or Venmo along with the deposit. If you are interested, we require the animal's breed, weight, & a reference photo to be provided to us prior to check-in.

Let’s start with a brief overview of the apartment itself and the amenities offered. The apartment is laid out efficiently and utilizes the entire space to its fullest potential. Private bedroom with queen bed and ample closet space gives you all the comforts of home. Apartment has its own dedicated bathroom with full size tub and/or shower, giving all guests privacy from one another when needed. The main common area is an open concept floor plan that is broken into 3 parts. First is the Kitchen & Dining area boasting all brand-new appliances, and fully stocked with items for all your cooking and dining needs. Next is the living room with a cozy yet modern design, plush sofa, 50" Flat Screen Smart Roku TV, High Speed WiFi, and more for you to enjoy. You will also have access to free parking in the complex, plus the outdoor pool, BBQ area and laundry room.

Zero Tolerance for Parties - Our studio is not suitable for parties or events. We have a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a quiet and residential environment.
Respect for Neighbors and Neighborhood - We value our neighbors and the community, and we kindly request that guests respect the tranquility of the neighborhood. Keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during late hours, to ensure a harmonious living environment.
No Smoking - For the comfort and well-being of all guests, smoking is not permitted in or on the property. $1000 fine for smoking in or on the property.
Guest Limit - The home is designed to accommodate a specific number of guests comfortably. Please adhere to the specified guest limit to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.
