- "Roomie!!! It was our first VRBO, it is a nice two room place, it has a newly renovated shower/bathroom. It is above the front office so breakfast is right downstairs. There is a beeping from the waffle machine if you are a light sleeper, but you also wake up to the smell of waffles. The beds were great, the couches sleep two people, perfect for an our family of six. The sign does shine in through one of the windows, but was fixed with putting two pillows up. It is within walking distance from food and a dollar tree. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. "

Although this. detached casita is only about 20 feet off of the main residence, there is plenty of privacy, including a private parking area and two private entrances. This north San Diego county suburb has a country feel and is walking distance to several different trails, including beautiful Lake Poway, where you can feed ducks, go fishing, hike to the famous potato chip rock, or rent a paddle boat. Only 30 minutes away are some of America's finest beaches, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, Legoland, Balboa Park, Gaslamp district, and so much more! Inside the casita, you'll find two queen sized beds, two queen sized sofa beds, and a sleeping loft. In addition, there is a full sized kitchen, a bathroom, and plenty of parking. Go spend the day at the beach and feel free to use our surfboards, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and sand toys. All linens and beach towels are provided, so come out and get ready for a beautiful stay here in America's Finest City.

They had a blast climbing inside the house, and also loved giving piano concerts. We enjoyed the pool and spa area so much that we ended up staying another day, rather than going to the beach. It was just so perfect and relaxing, and we didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend!!"

2) We have a dog that uses the backyard several times a day. We use the back door that cuts through the patio to the backyard to take her out. The patio is mostly private, except for those times we need to tend to our animals. We also have chickens on our property that you may or may not see and hear depending on when you are onsite. Although the chickens have a fence to keep them in their area, they are known to hop the fence to the side yard. They are of the friendly variety and will probably run quickly back to their yard if you happen to cross paths with them.

3) The room is attached to our living room and is NOT SOUNDPROOF. We do our best to limit noise when guests are on property; however, we do have an active family life that includes the sounds of joyful family interactions and the occasional sibling bickering. Our price reflects the acceptance that our room offering comes with compromises and unpredictable noise disturbances. If at anytime, we are too loud, a quick text message to us letting us know that is appreciated. We take pride in our hospitality and is important to us that you are comfortable during your stay.

4) The room is NOT EQUIPPED WITH AC or HEATER; however, we do have a fan and portable heater that controls temperature. During the hotter days, we make sure to turn the fan on hours before your arrival to ensure a comfortable temperature upon arriving. Likewise, on cold days, we will have the heater running prior to your arrival to get the room to a comfortable temperature.

If cycling is your passion, borrow bikes from the host and explore the five-mile loop around Miramar Reservoir, perfect for walking, biking, or rollerblading. Spend a couple of hours enjoying the rides or playing arcades at Belmont Park.

- "The house was larger than we expected and fit all four of us without a problem. The location of the property was excellent for shopping and going to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and the locals were nice. We loved the board games and popcorn maker that was in the home and we loved the swimming pool and hot tub.
