The local beaches and parking are open!! The Balboa Unit in the Lantern Village is a very popular get- a-way spot. This unit is close to all that Dana Point has to offer. Clean and quiet, it allows you to relax and enjoy the coastal harbor town. Walking distance to the newly developed Del Prado restaurant and shopping zone, close to the harbor and local beaches. Laguna Beach is only 10 minutes up the road. The Balboa unit has a front deck that has a partial ocean view as well as a rear deck to have a cocktail or coffee from. The interior of the unit has been upgraded with granite counters, and tile floors. New Bathroom a subtle beach flair on the decorations. The living room has a 50" color tv with DVD player, WIFI and cable. There is even a selection of DVD's if you want to watch a late night movie. There are plenty of free parking on the adjacent street. No parking on the premises is allowed at any time. Your car may get towed. The guest suite does NOT have a KITCHEN. But it has a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, 2 large screen smart TVs, fans, heaters, cups, hangers, etc. (See photos). There’s also a good size closet and hangers in the second bedroom. We provide an iron if you ask for it. But for safety we ask to return it to us after you’re done. Plenty of restaurants within 5-15 minutes. That includes lovely Laguna Beach & Dana Point. For brunch we recommend Plumeria. Ritz Carlton, Waldorf Astoria and Montage resorts are less than 10 min drive. Disney Land is about 30 min drive. John Wayne airport 25 min. Fashion island in New port beach about 25 min drive. Pacific highway is 5 min drive. LA 55 miles North. San Diego 60 miles south.

The newly updated condo sits upstairs and is furnished in beach chic and no expense was spared with new cabinets in the kitchen and white marble in both bathrooms, elegant dining room and central living area.

The master has a king size bed and the secondary bedroom has a queen bed.

The living room sectional also converts to an additional queen size sofa bed.

The deck of the dining room and master bedroom has a table and chairs, with BBQ.

The patio of 2nd bedroom has Adirondack chair, ottoman and side table.

The artistic beach colony of Laguna Beach is (8 miles) to the northwest and the famous Newport Beach Harbor and beautiful upscale Fashion Island shopping mall is another (6 miles). For the ocean lover`s, Laguna Beach`s beaches and scuba/snorkeling dive sites are a 20-minute boat ride away and for the open water enthusiast the fun-filled island of Catalina is a 90-minute boat ride from Dana Point Harbor (2 miles). Doheny State Beach has great spots for picnics and bonfires (2 miles). San Clemente Beach has lots fun beach, dining & shopping to offer as well (7 miles).

The Dana Point/Laguna Beach area offers everything including picturesque and challenging golf courses, fishing, boating, jet skiing, boardsailing, surfing, scuba diving/snorkeling, and dining experiences to match all tastes.

Southern California`s tourists attractions like Disneyland and Knott`s Berry Farm are just 45 minutes away in Anaheim along with Angel Stadium and Arrowhead Pond.....Long Beach has a spectacular aquarium and the Queen Mary is docked there for touring and dining.....LegoLand in Carlsbad is a quick 40 minutes away.....San Diego offers Sea World and a renowned zoo as well as Sea Port Village, Balboa Park with its many museums (about one-hour drive).......... Head north to Los Angeles for Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Hollywood, Griffith Park, numerous museums, and cultural events.

The apartment does NOT have Central Air Conditioner. There is only one portable AC.

HOUSE SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS & POLICIES:
By booking this home you agree to the rules and conditions outlined at the Guest Terms page found by accessing air concierge online and navigating to the Footer where such terms can be found as titled Terms and Conditions Guest Terms - Air Concierge, as well as those denoted below. Should there be a conflict between the booking platform Terms and Conditions, and those listed on the link above or herein, then the terms most favorable to us as the Host shall take effect.

NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.

- All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID).

Late Checkout Policy
Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows:
• Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater.
• 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater.
• More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate.
To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g cleaning schedules, guest complaints) upon request to ensure transparency.

Additional Cleaning Policy
Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean condition, consistent with normal use. Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. This fee covers costs such as extended cleaning times or specialized cleaning needs. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor. We will make every effort to accurately reflect the additional work needed and the time required to complete it, providing documentation (e.g photos, cleaning logs) upon request to ensure transparency.

Important Fee Disclosure for Long-Term Stays (30+ Days):
Should this property be reserved for 28 days or more, we reserve the right to apply additional monthly fees to cover certain ongoing expenses (eg utilities) not included in the standard nightly rate.
These may include, but are not limited to:
• Gas and electricity
• Water and sewer
• Trash and recycling
• Internet and streaming services
• Other utility or maintenance surcharges applicable to the home which will be known prior to the time of booking
These fees may be assessed as either:
• A flat monthly fee, or
• A fee calculated as up to 5% of the monthly rent.
Such fees may be collected directly through the booking platform platform or invoiced separately as permitted by the booking platform policy. For estimation purposes, please assume an additional fee equal to 5% of the monthly rent unless otherwise specified in advance.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
By booking this property, you (the “Main Booker”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Rental Agreement on behalf of yourself and all members of your Guest Booking Party. This Agreement is binding upon confirmation of your reservation. This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the Main Booker named in the Booking Platform reservation details (“Guest,” “Renter,” “Main Booker,” or “Occupant”) and Air Concierge Inc a California corporation and dba “Air Concierge Washington Inc.” in the State of Washington (“Manager”), for the rental of the Property specified in the Booking Platform reservation details known as including but not limited to (“Listing”, or “Property”, “Property Name”, “Property Title”).

DEFINITIONS
Booking Platform” (or `Third Party Platform,` “Online Listing Site,” “Listing Site,” “Online Site,” or “Platform”) means any third-party online service, website, or application that facilitates short-term rentals by connecting property owners or hosts (including Manager acting on Owner’s behalf) with travelers or guests seeking accommodations, including but not limited to platforms for listing, marketing, booking, and payment processing.

Welcome home to the perfect Guest House getaway! This stylish container home is centrally located and ideal for exploring the Orange County beach cities. Unwind on your private veranda or enjoy the oversized firepit and outdoor dining area. Inside you'll find a kitchen fully stocked, a bed that folds away for extra space and an ensuite bathroom. The Guest House is a perfect private getaway, which can also be combined with the main house (Casa Molino) for large group accommodations. Enjoy!

- "The place is tiny. You can barely turned around. No washer and dryer. Dona, the owner is far from honest and very difficult to deal with." - "The host was dishonest from the beginning. She placed beautiful photos on the VRBO page that were not part of the rental home. Half of the photos were from the primary house in the front of the property.I almost fainted when I opened the door of my vacation home. The home was a tiny weeny100 ft box. I would definitely not rent this home if the owner did not falsely advertise. The owner claimed the advertising was a “misunderstanding”. She did offer a refund but I must vacate the property next morning. I already paid the entire 29 days stay in full, but she wanted me to vacate by the next morning after I arrived.It was virtually impossible to find another rental this soon, so I had no choice but to stay. The owner was extremely pushy and inconsiderate.The right thing to do was allowed me to stay until I find another rental. I informed her that I would pay for the days that I stayed and she could refund the rest after I leave. The owner said absolutely NOT and not negotiable. I must vacate the next morning. There were many plumbing issues during my stay. Fecal matters were leaking out from the clean out pipe. That was very disgusting and unsanitary. The bottom line was my stay would of been so much better if the owner was honest. She didn’t have to lie continuously to get her ways."
