- "We loved the location. We love San Clemente and all it has to offer. The support person on the phone was very helpful. It’s a great unit. We were very comfortable there. We would return in the future. There are a few things that need to be looked at a little closer. The toilet kept clogging up. Especially when there were more people in the building upstairs. The bathroom sink does not drain well. The king size bed was too soft and uncomfortable for us. The major thing is that the place smells musty or moldy. We opened windows and used Lysol spray which helped with the smell. The space was great! I loved having a washer dryer in the unit and the kitchen is well supplied. I had want for nothing. We did some cooking and baked a pie. Just like at home. The yard was wonderful to sit out in the evenings. The overgrown tree was a bit messy but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the space. Overall this is a great location and decent unit. We would consider staying here again. "

The Space:
Experience stunning ocean views from this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath beach condo, both inside and out. Recently renovated, the condo features an open floor plan that floods with natural light, thanks to two oversized sliding glass doors and numerous windows.

Step outside to the 600 sq ft private deck, which boasts an ocean view, a fire pit with ample seating, dining tables, a grill, a beverage fridge, foosball, a TV, music speakers, and a private jacuzzi. The interior has a beachy atmosphere while providing all the comforts of home, including a washer and dryer.

To enhance your beach experience, we’ve equipped the condo with beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, a cooler, a wagon, and an outdoor shower. Everything you need to relax and enjoy the best of San Clemente is at your fingertips!

For those working remotely, a desk and office chair are provided. Additionally, a Keurig coffee machine is available, complete with coffee pods, creamers, and sweeteners.

Guest Access:
Guests have complete access to the condo, as well as private access to the deck, fire pit, and hot tub. One dedicated driveway spot is provided, and there is also ample free on-street overnight parking on Seville Street and around the library and community center. We also provide a map that indicates safe overnight parking areas.

The Neighborhood:
Take a leisurely stroll up the street to the charming village center, where you’ll find a variety of boutique shops, several world-class restaurants, a cozy wine and cheese bar, a local playhouse, a retro candy store, and a farmer’s market every Sunday morning. Continue down the street to explore the beautiful beaches, the pier, the beach running trail, and the seaside parks. Alternatively, you can stay in the condo for a relaxing day, enjoying a gentle ocean breeze and quiet evenings with stunning sunsets.

Getting Around:
We are within walking distance of nearly everything you might need. There are bike rentals available (Murf electric) at the top of the hill, and a free trolley picks up in front of the condo. Additionally, there is a train station at our pier, making it easy to plan a day trip to San Diego. Our location is also convenient: it’s about a 45-minute drive to Disneyland, 25 minutes to Legoland, and one hour from both San Diego and Los Angeles.

Other Things to Note:
- We allow up to 3 pets with pre-approval. Most breeds are acceptable as long as they are quiet and well-trained. Our pet fee is $20 per night for each pet. There is a grassy park across the street from the condo, and San Clemente is pet-friendly.

- Pet-Friendly: There is a park nearby for dog walking. Additionally, San Clemente features a pet-friendly beach trail and many pet-friendly restaurants.

- The unit accommodates a maximum of 6 guests (5 adults). After the fourth guest, an additional fee of $25 per person per night will apply.

The proximity to t street is best by car but parking was easy and sunset was amazing. Your in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and you can walk to pier to get your morning coffee. - "We throughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed as far as amenities and a little extra. Every detail was met when it come to everything you would have at your own home. The Space:
The newly-renovated condo has a beachy feel with all the amenities of home: quality mattresses, linens and pillows, a fully outfitted kitchen, large-screen TVs, Central Air Conditioning, plenty of towels, and in-unit washer/dryer. Additionally, provide everything you would need to enjoy the beach:
6 Big beach towels, 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, 2 boogie boards, cooler, wagon and an outdoor shower. There is also a fireplace inside and a fire pit on the balcony to unwind after the day's activities.

This condo has a small balcony over the back yard (you may hear other guests below).

We provide a desk and office chair for people working remotely and also a Keurig coffee machine with pods, creamers and sweeteners.

Come stay close to it all! The address is 253 Avenida Del Mar - look it up on a map and see its an easy walk to everything.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the condo and private access to a balcony that features a fire pit and BBQ. This balcony overlooks the backyard, which is the outdoor space for another rental condo in the building. Please be aware that you may hear guests below. We kindly ask that you keep noise to a minimum while using the balcony and respect our quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. Thank you for your understanding.

One dedicated parking spot in the driveway is included, and there is ample free on-street overnight parking available on Seville Street and around the library and community center.

Avenida Del Mar is the crown jewel of San Clemente. We have at least ten truly special restaurants, including Nick's, South of Nick's, Vine, Beachfire, and El Ranchero, among others (check Yelp for more options!). The farmer's market takes place every Sunday just across the street from the condo, making it easy to stock up for the week. Getting Around:
Our location is within walking distance of just about everything you might need. There are bike rentals (Murf electric) available at the top of the hill, and a free trolley stops right in front of the condo. Additionally, we have a train station at our pier, making it easy to enjoy a day trip to San Diego. We are conveniently situated about a 45-minute drive from Disneyland, 25 minutes from Legoland, and an hour from both San Diego and Los Angeles.

We allow up to 3 pets with pre-approval. Most breeds are acceptable as long as they are quiet and well-trained. The pet fee is $20 per night, per pet. There is a grassy park across the street from the condo, and San Clemente is pet-friendly. :)

This unit has a small balcony with a fire pit, and the grill overhangs into the backyard. The backyard below is the outdoor space for my other rental condo in the building. Please plan to keep noise to a minimum while outside on the balcony and respect our quiet hours, which are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Thank you!

The Space:
The newly-renovated condo has a beachy feel with all the amenities of home: quality mattresses, linens and pillows, a fully outfitted kitchen, large-screen TVs, music speakers throughout the condo, plenty of towels, and washer/dryer.

→ Air Condition is a mini-split in the common area that can cool the whole condo if bedroom door is open, but no separate AC in bedroom.

The 2nd bed listed is a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room.

We offer free bikes for use during your stay. There is a wonderful and safe (separated from traffic) walking trail and bike path at the pier that goes to dana point harbor.

The Neighborhood:
Avenida Del Mar is the crown jewel of San Clemente. We have at least ten exceptional restaurants (check Yelp but Nick's, South of Nick's, Vine, Beachfire, El Ranchero, The Cellar, etc.). The farmer's market is every Sunday just across the street from the condo - perfect to stock up for the week. We have a fantastic coffee shop called Bear Coast Coffee just down the hill at the pier and beach walking trail - the perfect way to start the day. Lastly, we have a park across the street for kids to play.

However this is usually not an issue with average San Clemente weather (we happened to be there on a 90+ degree weekend). Lots of TV choices (no ESPN) and standard internet access. If you want a great balcony to enjoy and easy access to all that the San Clemente pier has to offer then this is a fantastic option!"

Just head toward the pier (0.2 miles away) and there is a trail adjacent to the train tracks that extends 2.3 miles (about a mile in each direction from the pier) along the San Clemente Coast. This is a relatively flat trail and beautiful coastal views can be seen for the entirety of the walk making it one of our favorite San Clemente walking trails.

The nine unit building is located 1/8 mile north of the pier, about halfway between the Pier Bowl area and the Metro Link North Beach train station (By Maripose Ramp and Beach). The train can be caught at North Beach or a short walk by way of San Clemente's beach walking trail to the Pier to catch the train. The train will take you to San Diego or to LA and beyond. You can easily walk to wonderful restaurants at the SC Pier, or catch the free trolley, or walk downtown and stroll Del Mar Avenue. Plus, Dana Point Marina is very close, along with the SC Outlet Mall and movie theaters.

Just steps to 2 great surf spots - walk north 1 block then down the stairs to "204's" and further north is the "Portal" break or head over to the Pier or T Street and world famous Trestles is a little further down the beach. Plus there are several quality golf courses in town that are open to the public, and a gym close by that does not require a membership. You can even swim some laps at the SC Beach Club that is also within walking distance or visit the food court and market across the street. You should also rent bikes, e-bike and/or golf carts to help you get around like the locals. If you are a walker, then this is the place...there are numerous places to walk that will fulfill all types of distance and endurance levels.

- "Amazing location with beautiful view of the ocean. Very clean and cozy. Love this place. " - "This is a real San Clemente gem. The balcony is huge, with the most amazing ocean and pier views. Loved firing up the fire pit table in the evening. It's a good place for a couple or a single traveler. Be advised the provided parking spot is very tight and only suitable for the smallest SUV or car. The surrounding street parking is all meters. There is a wonderful walking path along the beach and several places to eat or get coffee. There is also a free trolley that stops right down the street. If you don't have good mobility, this is not the place for you. There are a lot of steps to the unit and all the streets are hills. I got a good work out in. The unit has been completely been remodeled and I would definitely love to rent it again. I did have issues with the door code not working and Vacasa was not very helpful."

The garage provides parking for one car. If necessary, a second car can be parked parallel on the street in front of the garage or on the street in the neighborhood. We provide a map showing all of the safe overnight street parking spots.

The Neighborhood:
Located in San Clemente's famous pier bowl. Just a 2-minute walk to the sand and pier. The area near the pier offers everything you might need, including restaurants, convenience stores, great coffee, and delicious treats. Alternatively, you can walk down the street to explore the beautiful beaches, the pier, a beach running trail, and seaside parks. If you prefer to stay in the condo, you can enjoy a relaxing day with a gentle ocean breeze and peaceful evenings watching stunning sunsets.

Getting Around:
San Clemente is a walking village; you can walk to almost anything from this location. You can also catch the free San Clemente hop-on hop-off trolley from here, which will take you up the hill to Avenida Del Mar, where you can enjoy a variety of boutique shops, several world-class restaurants, a cozy wine and cheese bar, a local playhouse, a retro candy store, and a farmer's market every Sunday morning. This village is just a 10-minute walk without the trolley

- Strict quiet hours are in effect from 10 PM to 8 AM.
- We allow up to 2 pets (or 3 if they are all small) with prior approval. Most breeds are acceptable as long as they are quiet and well-trained. Our pet fee is $20 per night per pet. San Clemente is a pet-friendly area!
- The unit is limited to 8 guests (6 if all adults). For each additional guest beyond five, there will be a charge of $25 per person per night
- This condo has another condo above but the condo above is vacant 95% of the time. The condo is very quiet, and we have never had any guests complain about noise. Thanks

One Small dog (under 20 lbs ) is ok If there is any pet damage, guests will be charged $100 (scratches, urine on carpet, excess dog hair) The dog can not be left in the apartment unattended.

My rules for a dog are the dog can never be left in the house by itself. And any damage caused from the pet will be paid by the guests. There is no yard so the dog has to be walked on the street and picked up after. No excessive barking. With respect to the other guests and neighbors.

Welcome to our cozy, little studio in the heart of downtown San Clemente. The studio has a queen size bed, newly remodeled private bathroom with walk in shower, an armchair to relax in, and a desk to get some work done.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. You can easily walk to the pier and downtown in a few minutes. You'll find many great restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance.

The space
We designed the studio for the guest looking for a comfortable and affordable spot to enjoy San Clemente. Located in the pierbowl, our studio is quiet, safe and centrally located. You can easily walk to downtown and the beach in a few minutes.

The studio is small and cozy. It has a mini fridge, a small coffee maker, microwave, dishes and utensils for two. It does not have a kitchen so it is best suited for those looking to enjoy the amazing restaurants San Clemente has to offer. There is a small table on the patio to sit and enjoy a meal.

The studio has a comfortable desk and fast, reliable wifi for guests working remotely.

*Other things to note*

The studio DOES NOT have a dedicated parking spot. The neighborhood has unrestricted free street parking. We are close to the beach and downtown so you may need to walk to find parking.

You will need to climb several stairs as this unit is located on the second floor and the building requires stairs to access from the street. For this reason the unit is likely not a fit for those with mobility issues or trouble climbing stairs.

We have a coin operated washer & dryer in the building. Guests may use it outside of the hours of 10 am-4 pm. Laundry detergent is not provided.

Please note, access to the apartment does involve climbing stairs. The unit is not suitable for children due to lack of safety gates and those with difficulties climbing stairs.

There is NO designated parking spot for this unit. Free street parking is available but please keep in mind this is a beach community. You may need to walk to find a spot during busier times of the year. Feel free to book one of the other listings in this building if you'd like a guaranteed spot. You won't need a car once you're here as we have a free trolley that takes you around town and the location is very, very safe and walkable.

We highly recommend trip insurance as we do not provide refunds outside of our normal cancellation policy at the time of booking. Weather, family emergencies, sudden illness, natural disaster, etc., do not qualify for a refund. We are unable to change dates after the reservation is confirmed, unless you are extending your stay.

Please note, the apartment does not have a designated parking spot. Street parking is available in the neighborhood but can be limited in the evenings.

We will consider allowing your well behaved dog, on a case by case basis. We charge a $75 pet fee, per dog, per stay (maximum of 2 dogs). Please let us know if you will be bringing your pet so we may schedule additional cleaning after your stay. We do not allow any pets to be left unattended at any time.
Guests who bring a pet without approval automatically agree to a pet fee of $450 to cover costs incurred for last minute cleaning services. We are in an area that has skunks, coyotes and other wildlife so please be aware of this if you are bringing your pet. We do not guarantee that the backyard, even though fenced, will remain free of wildlife and we do not accept responsibility for their safety while on the premises. Pets cannot be left unattended at any time.

Please note this is an apartment below a home. We have recently taken extra steps to soundproof, however you may hear noise from the guests above. Most of our guests have no complaints but if you are a light sleeper or easily bothered by noise, our apartment might not be the best fit.

While other tenants do not have access to the yard, please be aware that property maintenance staff and landscapers may need to enter it periodically. The space is not intended for unattended pet enclosures at anytime. Guests accept full responsibility for pets and their safety. Aggressive dogs will be allowed at anytime.

You will be renting a private apartment with a backyard. The guests in the main home do not have access to the backyard.

Other things to note
This is a basement level apartment with stairs (pictured) to access the unit. Please be aware that you may hear noise from the house above you so if you are sensitive to noise or are a light sleeper, this unit is probably not the best fit for you.

We are in an area that has skunks, coyotes and other wildlife so please be aware of this if you are bringing your pet. Wildlife may get into the backyard. We do not accept responsibility for pets safety and recommend that you do not leave pets unattended outside at any time.

Our priority is to ensure a wonderful stay for our each of our guests and we ask that you please be respectful of other guests and neighbors. Guests who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to vacate immediately without a refund.

The house is not suitable for parties, gatherings, or loud music. No additional guests are allowed on the property that are not on the reservation. Our maximum guest occupancy at all times is 2 guests.

We don't allow smoking anywhere on the property! We are located next to a canyon and there is extreme fire danger. If smoking is discovered we charge a $500 cleaning fee and reservations will be cancelled.
