The Travelers Retreat Casita has all you’ll need to feel spoiled, including a Cal king bed with super soft bedding for the best nights sleep. Cook your own meals in our stocked kitchenette and full size refrigerator. The living room has a sofa that converts to a queen bed. You must request use of the sofa bed for extra guests and there is an charge per guest . Also we have 2-TV’s with wifi and a washer dryer for your convenience. Frequently asked questions:

1) Can I check in early?

Usually I accommodate early check-in, but it depends if there is another guest checking out that morning so cleaner needs time to clean, usually she's done around 2pm. But you're welcome to come early and wait in the backyard.

2) Can I check out late?

Sorry, no late checkout, due to the automatic scheduling system for cleaner. She is very prompt to come at 11AM and has other host's listings to serve too.

3) Is the pool heated?

Unfortunately no, the heater just went out, and hence it's never been advertised as heated pool & spa in the listing, will update the listing in the future once fixed. There is a private hot tub inside the room.

4) Is Pet or Service Dog allowed?

Unfortunately due to family member's allergy issue and other guest's health concern, this listing does not allow any pet or even Service dog.

5) What is the best way to get a hold of the owner?

I'm more responsive if you message me on the app first or text to my phone as I'm often at work or on travel.

We welcome you to this gorgeous upstairs apartment in the wonderful quiet and peaceful hills of Murrieta. This Private Apt features a Queen Bed, full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, TV, bathroom, and nice quiet deck. Enjoy morning coffee or early dinners and drinks while looking at breathtaking views... This apt is above the garage that is private and not utilized for cars and lies within our avocado orchard.
With expansive views reaching the mountains, air swept by ocean breezes, and a perfect year round climate, Murrieta is the perfect place to spend your next vacation!

There is plenty to do in the area! 20 minutes away is beautiful Old Town Temecula, where you can shop, go antiquing, have a meal at one of the wonderful restaurants there, see a live band, or a live show, and more! 30 minutes away are the wonderful wineries of Temecula., stop in some of the best wineries in Southern Cal. Don't forget to visit the Boutique Wineries on De Portola Road! With almost 40 wineries now in action, there is always something going on at one of the wineries... (Horseback Ride through the wineries or carriage rides, or go in style with a limo ride!) Hot Air Balloon rides take off almost every morning, and are an adventure in themselves. Temecula features some of the best shopping in the area. From The Promenade Mall to Temecula Parkway, it won't disappoint! Love to Golf? Temecula has some fabulous golf courses. Other things to note
We are in a town area even though it’s close to freeways and bigger communities, Old Town Murrieta offers a Towny atmosphere! Every other Thursday old town Murrieta hosts an Evening Farmers Market. There is horse property walking distance that equestrian Park and lovely walking trails nearby. Expect to sense and smell nature. There are rabbits every morning and every evening you will notice crows in the evening. family oriented country lifestyle atmosphere.

Be prepared to climb stairs. Please do not park on the street or driveway this is to comply with City Code enforcement.

Summers are very hot from June to September expect dry heat and triple digits. -We get a couple of electric outages from time to time.- the A/C unit works good ❄️
