One of the beds did not have a sheet fully covering the mattress, which was disgusting to see. I also got woken up around 9:30 or 10:00 PM by people yelling and slamming the door next to us. This went on for about an hour and when I called the front desk they told me it was because someone had just checked in next to us. The next morning when I looked at the door, it wasn’t for a guest room. I asked one of the staff members what the room was and he said it’s for the hotel staff. I asked for a refund from hotels.com and they were able to get that back for me. We were able to find another hotel, which saved our trip. "

- "My husband and I brought our one year old here for a family staycation. We cannot rave enough about what a great time we had! The one bedroom condo was clean, updated and suited our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ocean view we had from our patio and we thoroughly enjoyed that. The location is essentially in front of the “Carlsbad Village” sign and walking distance to plenty of shops and incredible restaurants and dining options. The underground parking was super convenient also. The beach is about a 3 minute walk. It can’t get any better than that! Thank you for a fantastic stay! We look forward to returning!"

- "We had an amazing week stay at Alex's condo in La Costa. The condo is well stocked, clean and close to everything North County SD. The king mattress was really comfortable and Alex was kind enough to look up the brand we liked it so much. Great restaurants are close by like Urban Plates, Black Rail Kitchen, Tinleaf,etc. Looking forward to coming back next summer! Plenty of room for two people and two bathrooms was a big plus. Our stay was very quiet. No traffic noise or noise from neighbors. Parking is very convenient in the underground garage with an elevator nearby. Very generous drawer and closet space. Main bathroom is quite large. Condo building was in very good condition, especially given that the original construction was apparently some time ago. Condo has obviously been modernized since original construction."

At 1,670 square feet (155 square meters) the 2 bedroom villa is spacious, comfortably elegant, and fully equipped and will accommodate up to eight people. The open-plan kitchen/dining/living room is perfect for family meals and relaxing at the end of the day. The well-equipped high-end kitchen boasts granite countertops & stainless appliances. Retreat to the master suite where you’ll find a king-sized bed, luxurious garden tub, double sinks, and a separate shower. There are separate living and sleeping areas, which provide ample space for your whole family or group. All the creature comforts of home including WIFI, Flat screen TVs, and the Four Season's Luxury bedding in every bedroom. Includes queen-sized convertible sofas.

Fire pits and barbecue facilities are available at this family-friendly Carlsbad hotel. Rooms all feature a fully equipped kitchen. LEGO Land is 4 miles from the property. A seating area with cable TV is available in all rooms at the Ocean Palms Beach Resort. A separate dining area, free toiletries, and an iPod docking station are all included. A heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and picnic area are all available for guest enjoyment at the Resort Ocean Palms Beach. A gift/snack shop and laundry facilities are on site for guest convenience. Free Danishes, biscuits, fruit, and coffee are offered in the lobby for guests. Sea World is 40 minutes’ drive from the hotel. San Diego International Airport is 45 minutes' drive away.

This studio villa is located on the grounds of the beautiful Omni La Costa Resort and Spa located in Carlsbad, CA and features championship golf courses, multiple tennis and pickleball courts, a world renowned spa, pools and multiple restaurants. The villa is in an excellent location in San Diego county and is in close proximity to all of San Diego's wonderful attractions.

The studio features two king size beds along with a pull out couch (sleeps a maximum of 6 people). The bathroom has dual sinks, a soaking tub and a shower. Outdoor parking near the villa is included. The villa contains a washer and dryer along with a fully functional kitchen (small fridge, stove top with two burners, dishwasher, sink, microwave and keurig coffee machine). The villa also has a gas fireplace to make your stay extra warm and cozy.

This villa is owner managed and is not a part of the omni resort.
You will have access to some, but not all of the amenities of the resort. You will have access to: The golf course, the spa, all the restaurants, tennis and pickleball courts, the two garden swimming pools and 3 villa hot tub (located near the villa), the shops, the arcade room and the kids club (for the applicable guest fee for the kids club). The two garden pools you will have access to can be seen in the photos. A firepit and a variety of games are located within the garden pool area.

What you will NOT have access to during your stay are a few of the other pools on the resort property (Splashtopia and Edge pool) and the fitness center. Once you book the villa, you will receive a confirmation code for your booking which you can verify with the Omni if you choose to do so.

The cleaning fee is for a departure clean at the end of your stay. Daily cleaning services are not provided. Parking is included for one vehicle. Extra vehicles will incur a daily charge.
