- "Rented cottage for five weeks. Good location only a few blocks from beach, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Clean, safe-off of street. Cute cottage. Had a couple issues that tested landlord. Firstly the oven stopped working. Dan, the landlord, immediately switched out old stove for new one. Great! Then a freak accident occurred when a palm branch from front of property was blown down during a windstorm and hit my car breaking off a side mirror. Landlord offered to pay to have it fixed! Really generous and shows he cares about his property and the people who rent from him. Both property and landlord are highly recommended."

Everything new. This place will rival the fanciest hotels in the area. This is a cottage for those who want to come to Laguna and walk to the beach and the village! One of the neatest / nicest cottages you'll find in Laguna! The backyard is one that will have your jaw drop. In addition, there's a 600 square foot deck. Has a nice ocean view from the giant deck. -Superb Location - walking distance to Village -Beautiful, new cottage - Everything remodeled -A yard like you'll never find in Laguna Beach -5-10 min walk to the beach The quality of this place can easily rival ANY elite hotel in the area including the Ritz! The back yard is one that you have to see to appreciate. There really isn't anything like it. Please note this listing is very strict on the number of guests allowed. Please screen any additional guests as the owner will verify. The whole house, including the resort like backyard. I live close-by and will assist with any questions, but I'm always very respectful of guests and want them to have full privacy and peace. Walk to Everything. Great village location. Across the street from the beach. You can walk, take public transit, bike, or take a car. The house is on PCH, but it's tucked back away. You are literally across from the beach. During the day - if a fire engine comes by you will hear it but that's the same w/ all the cottages in close proximity to the beach.

The cottage was as described-super clean and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Annette is a really great host. She met us upon arrival to let us in and walk us through the property. In addition, her guide book has every question & detail covered. If anything comes up, she is very responsive to texts. The house is equipped towels, bedding and all the kitchen essentials you need. She also has beach chairs & towels which helped us as we traveled from the east coast. There is a garage so parking is never an issue. The location is perfect. Whether you want to stay close or venture out, there is so much to do. It's two blocks from the nearest beach but close to many others-driving or walking. There is great coffee & food across the alley behind the house. Downtown Laguna is within a 10 min walk which we made daily. It's a short drive to the various local hiking areas or down to Dana Point. If you are planning a trip to Laguna Beach this home is a can't miss."

Other things to note:
The studio has a great chef's kitchen, but with so many diverse restaurants nearby, who wants to cook? You're on vacation! Also, we offer 1 parking spot. But this is a better, more pedestrian friendly location than any of Laguna's hotels. So ditch the car and experience Laguna the way it is meant to be - by foot. Explore the neighborhoods with an electric bike tour offered by the adjacent surf shop. Unit comes with beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and complimentary boogie boards - with easy access to the beach.

- "My husband and I stayed 6 wonderful months in this South Laguna cottage while on a temporary work assignment in Orange County. We wanted the living conditions of long-term corporate housing with the feel of a vacation rental, and this property exceeded both criteria. The home was fully furnished with everything that we needed for such an extended stay: a fully stocked kitchen (including spices) with half-fridge, wine chiller, and dishwasher; a cool murphy bed upstairs, a queen bed downstairs, and a neat bunk-bed nook upstairs; a large upstairs living room with lots of windows and a stunning view of the beach (could sometimes see dolphins and whales!); a cozy downstairs master suite with a bathroom, half-kitchen, and seating area; an attached 1-car garage with a modern washer and dryer; a beautiful patio with sitting area that faces the ocean; and a well maintained wrap-around garden (with yummy citrus, apples, and figs) with a large outdoor grill. As long term residents all we did was show up with our clothes and toiletries and everything else was provided including all linens and plenty of towels; wi-fi, netflix, wireless stereo, TVs, and a local landline phone; weekly landscaping service; and trash pick-up (we just rolled the bins about 10 ft to the pick-up area). The location of the cottage lends itself easy access to many local amenities such as the beaches, hiking trails, paddleboarding, surfing, and whale watching. There are many quality restaurants both in the immediate (walkable) and surrounding areas, as well as a new grocery store that is only a 5 minute drive. All shopping, services, and entertainment that we could want were located in the nearby towns of Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and Laguna Niguel or in the larger cities of Orange County. Andrea was a wonderful owner and was always responsive and accommodating. If she couldn't immediately address an issue, she had her property manager (who lives in the neighborhood) expertly handle it. The neighbors were nice and welcoming, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We couldn't have asked for a better stay during our 6 months in Orange County. It made the long hours of work fade away as I came home to paradise every day and watched an amazing sunset."

Our recently renovated mid-mod Canyon Nest is in the quiet old Laguna neighborhood of Bluebird Canyon, above Laguna Beach's HIP District. Our hotel consists of two buildings, the North and South, that can be your home away from home as you experience how it feels to be a local. As a result there is no traditional shower dam, if the shower head is not adjusted properly it can result in water outside of the shower. This is a traditional hotel room with two double beds, the door does not fully open as a result of one of the beds.

Cancellation policy and procedures

Our goal is to keep our prices as competitive as possible, in order to keep them competitive it's important that we avoid the losses that come from cancellations.

Owners of these properties depend on the income and last-minute cancellations result in lost revenue through vacancy and lower prices.

For those that don't like the risk that comes with cancellation policies, we strongly recommend you look into travel insurance. We can recommend one for you.

If you didn't purchase the travel insurance offered by the booking channel, or the one we recommend, you will likely not get any refund.

To ask for an exception to our policy you must first cancel through the booking channel. Exceptions are up to individual owners and are very rare. Your best chance is to ask for a credit to be used for a booking for the same property.

The credit can to be used within the window you cancelled. Ie. If you cancel 3 days before your stay and the owners payout is $4500, you didn't purchase travel insurance you may ask for a credit to be used to reserve the same property no more than 3 days before the drag you want to use the credit for.

Example request.

"I had to cancel because my kids are sick. I didn't purchase the recommended travel insurance. My stay is 3 days away. I'm requesting a credit for the owner payout amount to be used to reserve the same property 3 days before our stay. I.e, we want to stay August 23rd so I will make a request on August 20th if the unit is still available.

Thanks."

We will share this with the owner and encourage them to allow us to agree.

No exceptions will be made if the process is not followed.

The space
Our home is truly a unique experience as you fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing and wake up to sunrises on the ocean with your morning coffee right out your bedroom door. This home is perfect for watching the California sunset. The home also features a chef's kitchen fully equipped with top-of-the-line Viking, Miele, and Sub Zero appliances, including a wine cooler for cooking and dining in!

The rich walnut colored wood flooring runs throughout the home. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room showcases breathtaking views of the ocean and Catalina Island sunsets.

The master and guest bedrooms feature custom-built white cabinets, and the luxurious baths are finished with stone counter tops, tiled showers, and heated floors. The master bath even has a steam shower and heated towel racks, while the guest bath includes a shower and separate tub.

HOME LOCATION
This home is located right above Victoria Beach, 10 minutes from Main Street, and only minutes from multiple pristine beaches and coves. In downtown Laguna, you can walk the streets and explore the artistic nature that Laguna has to offer or find a highly rated restaurant to try. The Free Trolley takes your throughout Laguna Beach via Pacific Coast Hwy. Our home is 10 minutes from Dana Point harbor and 20 minutes from Newport Beach.

IMPORTANT HOME NOTES:

- Upon completion of reservation tenants will be required to comply with the HOUSE RULES (including additional rules) outlined in our online Advertisement. Please review prior to submitting your booking.

-Tenants will be held responsible for any/all penalties and fines incurred during their stay as well as loss of rental revenue resulting from the suspension or revocation of the Property City Lodging Permit.

- Upon arrival, the guest agrees to be greeted by a staff member to verify identification matching the primary reservation holder. The primary reservation holder must be present throughout the duration of the reservation. Any exceptions must be approved in writing by Tower 17 Properties & Management.

- Guests submitting a reservation the same day as their arrival date are advised to message Tower 17 Properties prior to submitting their request. Same-day reservations may be required to accept a later than advertised arrival time of 5 pm to ensure the completion of our cleaning and inspection process.

- Guests arriving or departing before or after designated arrival and departure times without written consent from Tower 17 Properties and Management will be charged a $299 fee and applicable taxes. Guests departing after 1pm will be charged for the additional nightly rate as advertised. If an unapproved late departure impacts the arrival of an incoming guest, the departing reservation is subject to penalties and fines including but not limited to the refund of the incoming reservation.
