The people ar from another country. So they dont come by and look at the place or make sure things are going smooth and every things works. - "I really wanted to like this property. Unfortunately it wasn't very clean, the couch has stains there's cobwebs, the corners are all dirty and the baseboards. The fancy shower doesn't function really in the fancy way it's just a standard shower none of the extra shower heads work there's knobs missing and levers so try to get it to even change the temperature is extremely difficult. I emailed the host twice before the day we arrived if there was an iron and an ironing board available and I got no response. There's an iron there's no ironing board and the iron leaks. The bathroom was just covered in like hard water stains on everything even the mirror wasn't clean enough to see your reflection without getting a towel and really having to polish it. And the house is tiny like maybe 800 square feet the pictures make it look bigger. That didn't bother me as much it's not that big of a deal. And you can tell that all of the work that was done to upgrade this house was most likely not done by a licensed contractor but someone who calls himself a handyman and then takes sloppy shortcuts. And it's part of a duplex and there's no yard that's functional."

NO SMOKING - Smoking in the unit will result in an odor removal fee of $500 to cover the cost of odor removal and/or steam cleaning.

NO TAMPERING OF SAFETY DEVICES - Our property is equipped with smoke detectors, indoor smoking detectors, and sound alarms. Indoor smoking detectors will detect all tobacco and marijuana use. Sound monitors will set off an alarm at high decibels, but it is not recorded to invade privacy. Any tampering or removal of such devices will result in a $500 fine.

PARKING - Please park at your own risk. Neither the homeowners nor the managing team shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any vehicle.

OVERLY STAINED TOWELS/LINENS - Please refrain from using white towels to clean floors or remove makeup to avoid a replacement fee. Towels must be washed separately; if needed, do not mix with dark clothing. Fines for non-removable stains are as follows: Towels $5, Duvet cover $35, Flat sheets $20, Pillowcases $2, blankets $30, Duvet Insert $40, Pillows $25.

NO ANIMALS - Having animals in the unit at any time may result in termination of your stay without a refund, as well as a minimum sanitation fee of $150.

NO BUSINESS EQUIPMENT OR FURNITURE ALLOWED - Guests are prohibited from bringing any additional equipment, furniture, or items for business use into the property without approval. Violation will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate removal from the property without a refund.

NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY - If guests are discovered engaging in any illegal activity, they will be subject to a fine of $250 and immediate removal from the unit without a refund.

NO UNAUTHORIZED MAIL/PACKAGES - We do not allow anyone to receive mail or packages at our unit. If this rule is broken and you mail something to the property, we will not take any liability if your parcel has been lost or stolen.

PERMISSION TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY - The guest shall allow the property owner or any designated workers access to the unit for landscaping, routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and inspection of the property.

QUIET HOURS - To avoid disturbing the neighbors, we impose quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM every day, including holidays. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the unit without a refund, in addition to a minimum $100 fine.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTO/VIDEO SHOOTS ARE PROHIBITED - Unauthorized use of the rental property’s name, address, or images, including its interior, exterior, and/or private property surroundings, for any commercial use including but not limited to selling, advertising, marketing, and/or promotion of any product or business or use in any print, advertising, TV, film production, electronic, or other media, is unlawful and will be pursued to the full extent of the law.

ABANDONED BELONGINGS - Any belongings left behind in the unit after the guest checks out will be considered abandoned. If we have your belongings after your stay, the following charges will apply:

-$25 mailing fee separate from the cost of postage and storage fee.
-$25/day for storage fee.

RIGHT TO WITHHOLD GUEST'S SECURITY DEPOSIT - The management may withhold all or part of the deposit if the guest fails to follow the rules in this agreement, the property listing, or the property house manual. If the cost of damages, losses, or missing items exceeds the amount of the deposit, the management will bill the guest’s credit card for the difference and/or pursue legal action.

Causes for withholding deposit funds include, but are not limited to:

-Damage to premises or its contents.
-Missing or broken items.
-Required excessive cleaning.
-Not complying fully with the departure checklist.
-Trespassing on neighboring properties.

The owner communicated the check-in information several days in advance and proactively contacted me to inquire about the stay on day 2. The only caution is spiders (black widows) outside. Nature! I was happy with this property and would highly recommend it for a large family."

No candles, incents, air fresheners/sprays inside the bedroom. All will cause me to get a severe asthma attack and/or a visit to Kaiser Hospital. PLEASE NO overnight guests!

The space
All my rooms are designed for the long-term guest with a work desk and chair, fast Wi-Fi, Spectrum Streaming, mirrored closets with extra shelves, and dresser. I have a Samsung washer and dryer, and I provide the Tide powder soap and Bounce dryer sheets. In the garage you will have your own 13 cu. ft. refrigerator. Also, at the garage you will have a 24 inch by 36-inch shelf for non-perishable food items. At the kitchen another shelf is provided inside the pantry.

SMALL to MEDIUM DOG under40 pounds (NO CATS we allergic to CATS).
A $50 non-refundable cleaning pet deposit is due at CHECK-IN. You are responsible for taking your dog to the backyard area to go poo and/or pee. A dog pail and scooper are provided for you to place the dog feces after EACH TIME your dog goes poo. I do provide a doggie door at the family room for your dog to access the fully enclosed backyard. Grass cutting schedule for the rear yard to be advised.

PLEASE do not leave your dog unattended at any time. You are responsible for your dog at all times. However, while at school or work your dog can remain downstairs, but not inside your bedroom. PLEASE advise your host of your school and/or work schedule to include hours and days. If you have short errands, please advise the host OR the dog goes with you while you perform your errands, if host is unavailable.

Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, skillets and glass containers with lids to store food. PLEASE do not bring from the outside ANY of the aforementioned items.
PLEASE, no exotic and/or pungent smelling foods/and or spices. YOU are responsible for cleaning the kitchen area after each meal and within the hour of preparing your meal. If you use the stove range for anything using oils or fats such as eggs, steak, pasta or similar foods the range will get dirty, and you are responsible for cleaning the range immediately after you finish eating.
The Ontario water is extremely hard, and I will show you how to remove the hard minerals off the stove range, double sink, kitchen island /counters and stainless-steel pots, pans and skillets. ALL silverware, glasses, cups, small bowls and flat plates must be rinsed by you before going into the DISHWASHER.

LIMITED KITCHEN ACCESS FOR GUESTS STAYING LESS THAN 28 DAYS.
You are limited to microwave cooking and a microwave is provided at the garage behind the refrigerators. I provide a table to place your meal while using the microwave. There is a ceiling fan and light. Bring your own paper cups, plates, plastic forks, spoons and napkins.

A $50 non-refundable cleaning pet deposit is due at CHECK-IN. You are responsible for taking your dog to the backyard area to go poo and/or pee. A dog pail and scooper are provided for you to place the dog feces after EACH TIME your dog goes poo. I do provide a doggie door at the family room for your dog to access the fully enclosed backyard. Grass cutting schedule for the rear yard to be advised.

If you use the stove range for anything using oils or fats such as eggs, steak, pasta or similar foods the range will get dirty, and you are responsible for cleaning the range immediately after you finish eating.

The Ontario water is extremely hard, and I will show you how to remove the hard minerals off the stove range, double sink, kitchen island /counters and stainless-steel pots, pans and skillets. ALL silverware, glasses, cups, small bowls and flat plates must be rinsed by you before going into the DISHWASHER.

Cozy travel room belongs to the second bedroom of the entire house. It is the most quiet room. It is convenient to come and go. It has its own private bathroom. The comfortable queen bed can bring a good rest environment.

The house has an 8000 square foot backyard and 3 car spaces, the backyard has a sun shed and BBQ, the house has a laundry room, full kitchen equipment, and a dining room.Each guest can have 1 parking lot.Guests can also share all the equipment with other guests free of charge.

Home occupied by single 62 year old male. Usually quietly work at home in closed downstairs room/office. Usually available to pick up/drop off at local airports.

New Haven Room is close to the Regional Park, which has lakes, picnic areas and a swim complex. Stay in this clean and warm house and start a pleasant journey every morning. The theme of the room is “newly” decorated in “white-color” to make it feels like you are living in “heaven” thus the New Haven room.
