We use enhanced cleaning and safety measures. Between each guest stay, all surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant, and linens are sanitized. You will be able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

Safety is key here. The guesthouse has a fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, exterior lighting, and first-aid kit—all providing you with protection and peace of mind.

We live in the main house and you may be sharing the pool and backyard with us and guests.

The amenities and supplies are for your use during your stay, but please do not take any items with you (except the Redlands-made soaps and oil—those are our gifts to you). My central Redlands home is available several months per year while I am travelling and your hosts are two superb property managers, Alex and Brent. Walking distance to downtown, ESRI and minutes from key hospitals and the U of R. Perfect for 1-3 and for longer term stays.

I am a local artist, known as GretchenArt, living around the world at homeaway and other sharing economy locations. My 2 bedroom 2 bath home in Redlands, California is set up with a master bedroom/bath with a King-size bed plus a 2nd bedroom with a Queen sized bed. Both bedrooms also have a sizeable desk with direct connect highest speed internet. There is a custom extra comfortable LazyBoy double sofabed and desk in the living room as well.
The home is fully furnished and in the perfect central Redlands location on a quiet street-- walking distance to the University and downtown, convenient to the freeways, very close to both Redlands Community, Kaiser Permanente and Loma Linda University hospitals, and a block from ESRI, etc. This will be perfect for one or two people who are visiting friends or relatives, traveling or working as a travel nurse/doctor, professor, ESRI, in town for special events or treatments, or looking for a more permanent home to buy in the area... and my home is available primarily longer term where San Bernardino County requires minimum one month and I prefer renting for several month periods, but will rent for one month. Generally, I must rent discrete months, with some exceptions.
Note there is no garage parking, but parking in the driveway and on the street. The garage is available as a laundry room and would fit a motorcycle.
There is a full length deck with 2 picnic tables, solar umbrellas and house length reading bench on the side as well as 2 chaise lounges and a covered patio with furnished conversation corner. The top of the line chargoal grill means you can have the occasional larger family and friends gathering for Thanksgiving, Christmas, holidays and birthdays etc.

We traveled from various areas of the US to attend my brother’s Celebration of Life being held in the area. The BOHO style home was lovely and very spacious, comfortable, located in a quiet, serene area. I wish we had more time to spend in the large backyard. The home was clean, comfortable and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. There were extra blankets in the bedrooms that came in handy. The owners are very attentive and responded promptly to inquiries. They actually went out of their way help us figure out a beeping noise. The beeping was actually caused by the setting on the dishwasher. Although it was a simple fix, I was very impressed that they volunteered to come right over to fix it. These ladies definitely offer 5-star service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay. My family and I are looking forward to returning for a nice getaway."

What you see in the listing is what you get, a cute getaway set up like a boutique hotel. One of the nights during our stay, the power went out. I went outside to investigate, and I found the owners on the lawn and we chatted as we watched a work crew start the process of replacing an entire power pole just across the street. J & C were kind and offered apologies and lights and anything else we needed. Power was restored at 2AM, but the outage damaged the router for the house and they made it a priority in the morning to get full broadband service restored (which was important for our work) and gave us access to a mobile hotspot in the meantime which we felt was above and beyond service. Would definitely stay again."

Please be advised that by booking with us, you hereby authorize Airbnb to charge you in the event that any house rules are violated.

Things NOT allowed:

1. No parties
Due to the location of the property, we ask that you keep noise at a reasonable level. Quiet hours are usually between 11pm and 6am. Guest who violate our no parties rule will result in an immediate termination of their stay and will be required to vacate the premise immediately without a refund. No overnight guest without prior approvable of host, violating this rule could result in extra charges.

2. No smoking or vaping
No smoking of any kind inside or around the unit, we aim to offer a healthy and allergy appropriate environment for all of our guests. Additional deep cleaning is required to remove smoke odors from furniture, beddings, and walls. Violating this rule will result in a $180.00 cleaning fee.

3. No pets
We aim to offer a healthy, comfortable, and allergy free environment to all of our future guests, so we ask to please search for a pet-friendly listing that will best meet your needs and those of your furry friends Disclosure the unit shares a fence with the backyard where our dogs spend half of their time but will have no interaction with our guest. If guest brings unauthorized pets, there will be $180.00 violation fee and will also result in the cancellation of their stay with no refund.

4. No drugs
There is a zero tolerance of drugs on the premises violating this rule will result in the loss of your reservation and will be asked to vacate the unit immediately with no refund.

5. No late check-outs
Check-in time is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. Unauthorized late check-outs past 11 am will be considered trespassing and will need to vacate the property immediately. Violating check-out times will result in a mandatory $250.00 fee. Overstays are considered trespassing and do not award you possession of any kind to this property.

For guests with children
We provide the following items for children if needed but must be requested prior to your check-in day with an additional $35.00 fee. We can provide a play pen for children. Children are NOT allowed to eat inside the play pin. If any stains or solids are found on Pack n Play, this will result in an additional cleaning fee. All items are properly sanitized and disinfected after every guests’ use. All minors can not be left unattended in the unit. If the minor is found unattended, the guest will be asked to leave the unit with no refund.

• Guest is responsible for disposal of all trash and shall place it in black trashcan outside the unit. In the event that our cleaning service charges host additional fees, the host has the right to send the bill to the guest.

Guest Access
Guest will be able to self-check-in with smart lock, and the lock code will be sent out on the day of the arrival. In the event that smart lock malfunctions, a key will be provided. To open smart lock, you must press # then your four digit code followed by # again, and the door should unlock. To lock the door from the outside, you must press # sign for two seconds and wait for the sound it makes when locking.

Upfront parking provided just steps away from your entrance. Additional street parking is usually available.

Close to fun restaurants and cute shops in downtown Redlands. Great grocery store within walking distance called Redlands Ranch market! They have a great cocina in the back of the store which offers delicious authentic Mexican food to eat there of take with you! The 2bedroom 2 bath unit is beautifully decorated! So clean! So rare to get two baths in a 2bedroom apartment. Very spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for a great stay. Most places are not so I have learned to bring some of my own kitchen items but I never had to use them because Rafael has thought of everything! Huge bonus was all of the fun games and activities to keep us entertained. Everything was so fun. This private room is part of a historic home built in 1895. This house has been standing for more than 120 years! What I love about this space is its total privacy and proximity to so many things. There’s literally nothing more than about an hour away. It’s about a 30 second drive to get on or off the 10 freeway. Whatever your destination is, you can’t get any better starting location to get there! In terms of sleeping arrangements: it’s one full bed that’s very comfy.

If you want to hit the snow/lake, Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead is less than 40 miles away. Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood is about 60 miles away.

As the day cools, they can creak a little and there can be noises of it settling down. As with any vacation, your beliefs and attitude will determine your stay. So many things that are close by. The residence is centrally located for you to conveniently get to your destination quickly and efficiently. It is a 30 second drive to access the 10 freeway. Downtown Redlands is practically in the backyard ( 1 mile away). So many amazing food options in Downtown Redlands for any guest and any budget. If you want to hit the snow/lake, Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead is less than 40 miles away. Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood is about 60 miles away.

You will be given access to the RV which is parked in a very secluded part of our driveway underneath a gigantic tree that keeps it shaded, protected, and nicely tucked away giving it a very private feel.

Other things to note
This is an RV - so there's some small quirks to the place. The restroom is very practical but on the smaller side. RV/camper is meant for basic use only. Hot water is limited, it’s about 8-15 minute shower depending on prior usage of hot water. Additionally, restrooms toilet flush must be locked back up after each flush to prevent flooding. No worries! I will show you how to join your check-in! The place is only equipped to house a maximum of 2 guest to both take care of the RV and at the same time, ensure that your stay is comfortable. The feel is similar to any small studio apartment with the small quirkiness that an RV offers. Unfortunately, there is no cooking permitted of any kind due to installation reasons. We are next to a freeway, Please reconsider if you are light sleeper. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS IF NEEDED before booking.

The home is situated in a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood, atop a hill with a nice view of the city and 180° view of the San Bernardino mountains, which stays snow-covered 4-5 months of the year. Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, beaches, and the heart of Los Angeles are an hour drive away. The ski resorts are half an hour away. The city of Redlands has the oldest summer concert program, and it's also the only free one in the whole nation.

Located in Downtown Redlands, our newly remodeled studio is one of two units with its own private entrance. Comfortably accommodates 1-2 people. and comes fully furnished.

The space
The Studio comes with a microwave, stovetop, mini fridge, sink, and coffee maker. The living area has a love seat, dresser, TV, and a therapeutic Cal King bed. Portable heating and a wall air conditioner unit are also provided for your comfort. The bathroom has a shower, vanity, commode, and linen cabinet. There is a small private side yard at the entrance with a bistro table and 2 chairs where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

The studio is a quiet haven ideally located within a short walking distance from historic downtown Redlands. Our stay is near many shops and restaurants and is a short drive away from the University of Redlands, ESRI, Loma Linda University and Medical Center.

As the day cools, they can creak a little and there can be noises of it settling down. As with any vacation, your beliefs and attitude will determine your stay. Take the time to appreciate the wonderful smell of redwood throughout, the sounds of pine adjusting to your weight as you walk on the wood floors, and the sight of original warbled glass as the light refracts through.

Our Redlands Duplex house has a shared drive way that which has a parking spot right in front of the house.

The Long Driveway is shared with the back house renters who rents our studio.

We are about 1 mile from downtown, which is a quick Uber ride. Where you'll find all the best entertainment, pubs, coffee shops, movie theater, nightlife, and shopping. Check out Orange St plaza and Packing House District where you'll find Trader Joe's, Sprouts and many more.

The nearby mountains(15 minutes away) provide an opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to engage in various activities. Additionally, the proximity to Big Bear offers the possibility of a day trip.
