This airy studio oasis, set back from the street and nestled up a flight of stairs in a separate building behind our 1925 Italian Revival home, invites you to relax and rejuvenate while enjoying its restful space inside or basking outside in the sun in the secluded pool area and garden. The Redlands Guesthouse glows with dappled light. Refreshing views of nearby San Bernardino mountains and backyard treetops beckon from every window. Singles, Couples, traveling professionals, and artists will find the space inspiring.

Amenities for work or pleasure:
The Redlands Guesthouse welcomes you with a complimentary bottle of champagne or wine and is fully furnished with all you might need during your stay. The kitchen includes a gas 4-burner stovetop, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee (regular and decaf), creamers, sweeteners, tea assortment, toaster, cooking, basics—spices, sugar, flour, olive oil, oatmeal, granola, & breakfast bars—Calphalon pots and pans, mixing bowls, measuring tools, cookbooks, cooking utensils, place service for 4, sink, dish soap, drainboard, and mini-fridge with freezer. Eat at the expandable pub table, or use the table as a convenient workstation for your laptop. Curl up on the snug, velvety loveseat or on the luxurious queen-size bed and watch your favorite shows on the Internet-connected Smart TV. For work convenience, your e-devices will be equipped with secure high-speed internet and a convenient charging station. Printing, copying, scanning, and fax are available in the main house upon request. The updated and sparkly clean bathroom features Kohler fixtures, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and extra toiletries in case you forget something. These and an ironing board and iron are the perfect appointments to get you ready for a night on the town, a business meeting, or some other adventure. All fresh linens provided. Cleaning Practices & Safety:
We use enhanced cleaning and safety measures. Between each guest stay, all surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant, and linens are sanitized. You will be able to check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

Safety is key here. The guesthouse has a fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, exterior lighting, and first-aid kit—all providing you with protection and peace of mind.

Pool Precautions:
Keep backyard gate shut and latched at all times (pool safety!).

Quiet Time 10pm-8am. Be respectful of our property and our neighbors. We love them, and we want them happy.
Parking is on the street in front of the house. Arrangements can be made if you need off-street parking.
We live in the main house and you may be sharing the pool and backyard with us and guests.
Cleaning fee is non-refundable. Our amazing housekeeper is worth every penny! She will delight you with a sparkling, fresh and thoroughly clean experience, top to bottom.

The amenities and supplies are for your use during your stay, but please do not take any items with you (except the Redlands-made soaps and oil—those are our gifts to you). If you would like a particular item, let me know, and we can work something out. Some items are made in Redlands and are available for sale from the artisans. I went outside to investigate, and I found the owners on the lawn and we chatted as we watched a work crew start the process of replacing an entire power pole just across the street. J & C were kind and offered apologies and lights and anything else we needed. Power was restored at 2AM, but the outage damaged the router for the house and they made it a priority in the morning to get full broadband service restored (which was important for our work) and gave us access to a mobile hotspot in the meantime which we felt was above and beyond service. Would definitely stay again."

The rules said we’d be fined for not taking out every bit of trash but only tiny trash bags were available. It was usable, but far from enjoyable."

It shares a driveway with the main house but has its own private area including entrance, parking area, and a private side yard. No common areas are shared. Come and retreat into our newly renovated Modern Luxurious home.

Our home is designed for comfort by featuring quarts countertops, efficient appliances, workstation kitchen sink and vinyl wood flooring. If gourmet cooking is your thing, you will love our modern kitchen with included dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator and all pots and pan necessary to make you feel home.

The entire home has light blocking window treatment so you can get rest during the day when pulling the night shift. The house is equipped with smart thermostat and Wi-Fi switches and smart lock for convenience. The bedroom includes a comfortable queen bed with new Saatva mattress and modern motif. We have a comfortable queen convertible sofa in the family room if you have a company for a short time.

Watch movies or your favorite programs in the family room while sinking into the comfortable sofa and/or a leather swivel chair. You could also spend some quiet time in the beautifully decorated backyard surrounded with lush trees and tranquility.

PARTY/EVENT: We have zero tolerance to any party/events. In an event of breach, you will be strictly asked to leave immediately and vacate the property.

BEDROOM-It has a spacious one bedroom featuring a queen sized bed, a Smart Roku TV , wifi , and desk (note the bedroom has no door but has its own space, which is why we call it a studio). It has a seating area with a full sized sleeper sofa/futon for your convenience. You will also find a very spacious closet.

WASHER/DRYER- on site washer and dryer located inside bedroom closet.

BATHROOM- Our luxurious bathroom is top of the line with an extra large tub and subway tiles to complete a modern look. A hair dryer, towels, basic toiletries and cleaning supplies are provided for your convenience.

GROUNDS- Feel safe in our beautiful gated property in a great neighborhood. You will also have a dedicated parking space on the property.

GET TO KNOW OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Out property is right in the border of Yucaipa, CA and Redlands, CA. It is right off the freeway and conveniently located minutes away from fine dining and shopping and many attractions. Our property is a few minutes away from Downtown Redlands where you can walk and shop in the cutest area with many great restaurants and free concerts in the summer! We are also minutes away from Mountain Grove Plaza in Redlands where you can find a wide range of shops from Target to Home Goods to Banana Republic and more! If you want outlet shops, you can drive about 25 minutes to Cabazon Outlets. We are also one hour away from Palm Springs and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Beach! If you drive about 15 minutes up the mountain you will find the cute town of Oak Glenn, where you can enjoy seasonal apple picking, visit the snow (in the winter) and find great hiking trails. Thats all in addition to being close to many Hospitals and medical facilities. It truly is a perfect place to enjoy your time here!

Our “RURAL REDLANDS” neighborhood is quiet with local wild creatures roaming (coyotes, rabbits and squirrels). Although other hosts welcome pets, we requests no pets for our guests that have extreme allergies.
Our RURAL is an older home; not fancy but comfortable. Two bedrooms, kitchenette and living room. Private from us. We are near University of Redlands, Historic Downtown Redlands, restaurants, as well as Oak Glen apple farms. We’re 60 miles from Palm Springs, Casinos, Disneyland

The space
Please no pets and no smoking because both cause allergic reactions in us, as well as future guests. We are not a party house. This is a small, but quaint converted apartment that is attached to the end of our home with shared ventilation and a separate entrance. It has all you will need for a nice stay. If there is anything additional you need to know, please ask. (BTW…The beds are pretty comfortable)

Guest access
You will have access to a two-bedroom apartment. It is a part of the whole-house heating and air conditioning. (smoking or pets are not allowed). You will have a separate entrance for your privacy and will be given a pass code when you arrive .

There are house rules posted on the refrigerator including no pets, smoking, unexpected guests or parties). Please try to be quiet by 10:30.
Nearby there is a good Mexican restaurant (La Mexicana), as well as a Subway, Chipotle, In and Out Burger, Bakers, Starbucks, Jack, TacoBell, Chick FilA, Panera Bread, Corky's restaurant among others. There are Grocery stores within 4 miles (Stater Brothers, Vons, Aldi). There is a list on the refrigerator.

This centrally-located apartment is near downtown Redlands, restaurants, stores, and universities. NO TV AVAILABLE.
