- "This is the perfect little space for two people, and actually quite roomy for a studio. We didn't cook, so I can't speak to how well stocked the kitchen was, but it did have a Keurig and a couple mugs.I loved this quiet location in Meiner's Oaks. It's just 2-3 blocks from a bunch of restaurants, including The Farmer and The Cook, where we ate several meals.This unit is attached to an existing home and shares the driveway. It requires a step down through the front door, and there's a narrow ramp into the bathroom (probably not wheelchair width). The walls are a little thin, so you can hear muffled voices and television at times, but it was quiet at night. Neighborhood seemed safe. It's only 5-10 drive from downtown Ojai, and convenient to hiking and Lake Casitas.Apartment has a wall a/c unit, and a rolling plug-in radiator. I was surprised how well the radiator worked even in the large room with a high ceiling. No complaints! "

One mile from downtown Ojai along the bike bath, our newly renovated house boasts a spacious open floor plan, and a large garden with lovely outside seating and mountain views. You can also slip through the neighborhood for an easy walk to the Ojai Valley Preserve (open space) and you are only 15 minutes from the beaches in Ventura and Carpenteria.

The "casita" in the back yard can serve as an extra sleeping nook (shown here with twin bed), office, or yoga/fitness room. The house sleeps 5, and we also provide supplies for babies and toddlers (pack and play, changing table, child’s tent and tables/chairs). Your children or grandchildren are entirely welcome.

The large yard provides generous outdoor seating and play areas, with multiple spots to read, nap, or catch the sun. This is a perfect space for solitude or entertaining. Dogs are welcome and will be safe and happy in the fenced yard.

Cook's kitchen includes new stove, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, and other useful appliances. - "Everything was perfect. Love this peaceful property and the thoughtfully designed buildings." - "This is a summer place only. There is no dining table inside even though there is a lot of room for a table and chairs in the living room (host-- go on Craigslist and buy a folding dining table and chairs so in the winter or on rainy days your guests can have a place to eat). The lamps are a mish mash of tag sale items. In the little separate building that has the master bedroom, the bedside lamps are tiny dark red shaded things that give off no light other than a weird red glow. The bed in the smaller bedroom looks like it is 60 years old (authentic mid century furntiure is great but not when it comes to beds). There are no instructions anywhere for anything. The heat was off and it was freezing when we got in and there are no instructions on how to use a remote control for the heat (which is not intuitive at all). We had to text the host at 9:30 pm for instruction. Logs were left for the fireplace but there was nothing there to start a fire with and there were no instructions for how to use the gas in the fireplace to try to light the logs; again, we had to text the host at night for some instruction. Why not put some instructions in the guest book? This is not a place for guests; we felt that we were intruding in someone's long deserted home and did not feel welcome at all. The two buildings are not worth the price tag (and when we were informed that we had to pay a huge deposit to rent the place, we expected fine antiques or nice artwork but there are no decorations at all!) The view is lovely but the house definitely is not."

It was very convenient being a minute walk from Rainbow Bridge, Ojai Ice Cream, Libby Park, Three Birds Coffee, the Playhouse theater, and the arcade. I thought the vintage stove would be tricky to use, but it's actually more intuitive than modern stoves - go figure! The laundry room is super convenient. Big, clean backyard with ample places to hang out and eat. The communication with the host was super easy via text. AC units are in every room, as are fans. My family and I were super comfortable the whole stay."

The space is cozy and warm and inviting you have a separate entrance in your own porch with area to sit or have food or write ir entertain. I don’t allow gas except for short periods of time and no one of course after 10 PM there is the occasional meal that I like to share which I would leave for you and there is a toaster, refrigerator, coffee, maker, and a microwave. There’s plenty of storage for clothes and hanging things up and also an open filing cabinet for you as you’re working. The space is also available to be rented on a daily basis but for a minimum of 30 days should you need an office downtown? This is appropriate. I do have a friendly dog however, occasionally he’s barking outside and the door that I use for your entrance is also something that accommodates his coming and going at timeswere two blocks from downtown and everything that Ojai has to offer. There is a shared bathroom with the owner myself and an area for you to put your own things as well. We were just need to coordinate use and that’s easy enough with the text or notes.

I will leave a little treats for meals at times and a visitor dogs but nothing ongoing.

There is an inflatable mattress which may be used if have additional, approved guests. 10 min drive to downtown Ojai and all of its charms. Walking distance to local eateries and easy access to beautiful nature preserves.
The suite has a separate entrance and shaded backyard. It has a long hallway between us, So it feels very private.

The space
This quiet back unit is attached to our home by a long hallway, with a private entrance. You will park in the driveway and then walk down a shaded sidwalk to your entrance. You may occassionally hear our children if they raise their voices on the patio between our units. But, we've never had a complaint. We don't tend to be out there very early or late, or that often to be honest.

You will have a private entrance with a private back yard. and access to a washer/dryer in our garage which is shared.

Other things to note
We do request only mellow guests here to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Though, please feel free to be comfortable in your space and entertain company if you like! The yard is in progress with landscaping. But, still a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and listen to the morning birds.
If you must smoke. We prefer you don't, but if you do please use the ashtray under the kitchen sink and be respectful about it.

Please avoid using heavily perfumed or scented items in the house. It may not be tasteful to the next guest.

Little Moon, fully renovated 1950 Aljo trailer, found buried to its axles in Mojave. Named after her original owner, a Native American woman named Little Moon, whose birth certificate was found in the trailer. She has now been rebuilt and completely restored and placed in a perfect location under oak trees and next to our vegetable garden on our ranch where our numerous animals keep her company.
UPDATE: Brand new AC unit installed! Nice and cool for summer months now!

Other things to note
There is a toaster and hot plate and your normal kitchen supplies. The bathroom is small but there’s an adorable little sink, a toilet and a small shower. The hot water heater is small so hot showers usually last about 3-5 minutes unless you conserve the hot water, in which case they could last longer.

HEAT AND AC: Winter months are usually in the 60s and can sometimes be chilly at night. There is an extra space heater in there just in case. In the summer months, heat waves can sometimes cause Ojai to be exceptionally hot but we just installed a NEW AC UNIT so our guests can keep cool.

We see our guests from time to time if we are home, so our interaction is basically on the guests' terms :)

We are in the middle of EVERYTHING! We are literally the middle of all the downtown maps (sometimes I have to open them extra-wide to find our street) and we have very friendly neighbors.

The Ojai Trolley ($1) has two stops within a block from the house and the Gold Coast Vista bus ($1.75 for adults) stops two blocks away, in case you would like to go to/from Ventura or the train station there.

Enjoy yourselves! Relax, park the car and leave it there for your whole stay! Let us know if you have any questions!

We enjoy visiting but respect your privacy :) There are animals on the property (small dog, lazy kitty and crazy kitty, and the chickens who will share eggs with you & eat your food scraps!) DOG OWNERS; your dog needs to get along with everyone. We work from home and while barking is part of life, it needs to be managed. Please scoop your poops and bag em and put them in the trash. Reactive/strong prey drive dogs not suggested as we have chickens and cats.

Downtown Ojai is a great place to live and we have a friendly, family oriented, creative neighborhood.

We are steps from both the Ojai Trolley and the Gold Coast Bus (and you can transfer from one to the other if you ask for a transfer ticket) as well as taxis, etc. Or rent bikes from the Mob shop!

"The Prowler" at Euterpe Farms

General Safety

Euterpe Farms is a working farm and music studio. That means there are farm tools, farm work, and multiple hazards that you won’t find in most “vacation spots.” This is the beauty and uniqueness of this special place.

As a guest in the Prowler, you approach the trailer through a private driveway, and have use of the outdoor seating area, and non-exclusive use of the pool and hot tub. You may walk the grounds but please respect the privacy of the occupants of the main houses.

Besides being a native plant farm, any portion of the grounds and pool area may be in use for other purposes such as parties and music events, filming, music recording or rehearsal, photography, plein air painting, and private use by the owner, Smitty West. Please be respectful of the privacy and business of the other people enjoying the Farm.

The property requires regular land care, pool service, gardening, and farming that may be occurring at any time, so if you see our happy grounds manager, Urbano….say hola! Smitty also enjoys doing work around the farm, and he may offer you a tour.

Pool Area
Enjoy one of the great experiences of Ojai….the pool at Euterpe Farms with White Ledge Peak of the Transverse Ranges at sunset! Caution with children…no fence between house and pool. There are pool towels in the Prowler.

Wildlife
Euterpe Farms has a 1000’ fenced border and 180 degree view of the beautiful Ojai Land Conservancy’s Ventura River Preserve, and the two million acre Los Padres National Forest. This beautiful, diverse, and wild country is home to an amazing assortment of wildlife found no where else.
This is THEIR home, and WE are the visitors here on the edge of this wilderness. Be respectful of this fact and you will be rewarded with close-up view of an amazing assortment of plants and wildlife. Some of the larger animals you may see: deer, coyote, fox, snakes, bobcat, mountain lion, bear. Bird watchers will LOVE the diversity. We encourage raptors, and you may see or hear several types of owls, hawks, and other birds of pretty.

With big animals come small animals, so if you like lizards, spiders, and other crawlies, you’ll love it as much as the animals that eat them. If you don’t, well, you might have to live with them, because there’s 2 million acres of their home right next door! We try to maintain a no-kill philosophy on the property, and we have yet to see a poisonous snake, although we know that the river bottom is home to several. Best advice: Enjoy the wildlife, but don’t handle it!

Climate and Comfort
Ojai has a reputation in California for being blazing hot, but that isn’t really true. Here at the Farm, during the summer months we are rewarded with a beautiful Pacific marine layer breeze every afternoon, and the average summer daytime temperature is 89 degrees.

That said, sometimes during Santa Ana wind conditions, it does get BLAZING HOT for several days at a time. If you are lucky enough to be visiting during one of these spells (we get maybe two or three of them per year and it can be over 100 degrees), remember that it does cool off at night, so open the windows and night and shut them in the morning as the day warms up. But the best solution is a dip in the beautiful swimming pool, and planning an evening poolside until the stars come out. All that said, the Prowler does have a strong central AC system.


Plumbing
Euterpe Farms is on a green septic system. If it didn’t come out of your body or off the roll of supplied septic-safe tissue, it doesn’t go in the toilet!

Solar and Wind and Water
All the water in The Prowler is delicious and “world famous” Euterpe Farms windmill water. This water is purchased by hundreds of fans at our roadside tienda (farm stand) as their exclusive drinking water. Delicious, untreated and pure mineral water. It is raised by the power of the wind from our 1926 Aeromotor windmill from an isolated aquifer under this portion of Meiners Oaks.

The farm is powered in part by 3000 kilowatt solar generating system, making power from Ojai’s most precious asset, our sunshine.

Bees
We’re doing our part to help sustain healthy communities of honeybees here at Euterpe Farms. Their hives are very obvious off to the cliff side near the windmill. No one has been bitten that wasn’t messing around with their hives. No one HASN’T been bitten who WAS messing around with them. Your choice.

You’ll see them on the wildflowers around the Farm. Tip your hat and say thank you (or “gracie” they are an Italian variety), and they won’t bother you.

Hikes
We recommend the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy’s beautiful Ventura River Preserve. Walk or drive the one-half mile north on Rice Rd. to the trailhead. You may walk the perimeter of the Farm, but we do not suggest trying to climb to the River bottom from the property.

Smitty West
The owner and caretaker of Euterpe Farms, is singer/songwriter Smitty West. If he’s around, he’s a very friendly fellow who might want to share a story or hike with you. (website hidden). If he is on the property, he loves meeting our guests and helping you enjoy your stay. You can hear him sing with his partner Julija Zonic at Il Giardino Restaurant in Ojai most Friday nights.

Have a drink of clean, pure windmill water, courtesy of Euterpe Farms!

This water is brought to you from a pure underground aquifer that underlies this area west of Krotona Hill. The reservoir is mapped by geologists to be fault-separated from the municipal wells in the Ventura River bottom, and in a completely different aquifer.
The well underlies the windmill you see in the field in front of you. Taste it, you’ll love it. So will your dog or horse, so let them have some too!
This water has been lifted by the power of the wind!
Before you is a 1920s-vintage, restored Chicago Aermotor A602 windmill. It was salvaged from a farm near Santa Paula, and put back into service to lift the water that nurtures the young native plants here at Euterpe Farms.
This machine is a thing of mechanical beauty and simplicity. It slowly and deliberately lifts the water from the earth every afternoon in the ocean breezes that move up the Ventura River as the Ojai Valley heats up in the sunshine. The machine is self regulating, turning to catch light breezes, but folding her tail to take the sails out of the wind in heavy winds. Every stroke lifts about two cups of water six inches. It sounds slow, but if the wind blows all day, it will fill one of the tanks you see next to the tower.
There’s a pond next to the well to catch the overflow on really windy days. Look closely forn wildlife around the pond, including deer and bobcat.
What about when there’s no wind?
The farm has installed a solar photovoltaic grid on the south side of the farmhouse. Every sunny day, our electric meter runs backwards! The small pressure pumps that help the windmill during low wind, and pressurize the water in the irrigation system draw on this power. We also have a solar water heating system made from recycled equipment from the 70s and 80s. We try to keep a low carbon footprint here at Euterpe Farms!

Actually, “WHO is Euterpe ("you-TER-pee")? In Greek mythology, she is one of the Muses, the daughters of Mnemosyne, fathered by Zeus. Called the "Giver of Pleasure", she was the muse of music.


The Muses are goddesses or spiritual guides who embody the arts and inspire the creative process with their graces through song and stage, writing, music and dance. They were water nymphs, associated with the springs of Helicon and Pieris.

The space
Our guest cottage has an inviting great room that overlooks an orange grove and has a beautiful view of the mountains, perfect for capturing Ojai's famous "Pink Moment" at sunset. We furnish fresh regular coffee beans with a coffee grinder, and a great assortment of teas. We have a fully equipped modern kitchen, granite countertops with a small dining peninsula, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, food processor, hand mixer, hand blender, toaster, toaster oven and gas range. We have a full set of pots and pans, cooking utensils, serving bowls, baking pans, dishes, silverware all of the necessities to cook and serve a wonderful meal. There is a large selection of spices, balsamic vinegar and oil to cook with. We also furnish plastic wrap, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues and toiletries. The bedroom has a queen bed with a dresser, nightstands 75” flat screen TV, and walk-in closet. There is a pack and play for an infant or small child. The bathroom is roomy with a nice tile shower, soft terry cotton towels and we have a fully equipped laundry room with a washer, dryer and, laundry detergents for your use. Both the bedroom and great room open to a relaxing, beautiful, private patio complete with a gas grill, and a handsome patio table with 4 chairs. (2 folding lounge chaises are available upon request) The great room has a queen size memory foam sleeper sofa (with sheets, blankets and pillows), a foldable foam mat for an older child to use to sleep upon request, and a flat screen TV connected to the Internet through an apple TV (we do not have cable TV service). Additionally we have 2 spa robes, picnic basket and 2 yoga mats. It is all heated and air-conditioned and includes free Wi-Fi. The cottage comfortably accommodates 2 adults but can accommodate up t 4 total. Our cottage is not child proofed but we do our best to put all cleaning supplies and harmful items up out of reach when guests inform us that children are part of their group.
Things to be aware of: We live on a private road that is paved then turns to road base about 2/10 a mile from our place. Driving 10 miles an hour helps keep the dust down. The road is dark at night as there are no street lights. Our concrete driveway is very steep and the double space parking area down at the guesthouse is level but some low seated automobiles may scrape the pavement as you back into the parking spaces. If you need to avoid this issue, you are welcome to park in the areas to each side of our home. You will see them from the guesthouse. The walk on our driveway is steep to get to these spaces.

The entire Guest cottage is yours and includes a lovely private patio area that faces the valley and overlooks the orange grove and mountains. The views are truly beautiful. There is a patio table and 4 chairs. There is gas grill for your use in front of the guest cottage as well. There is a large screen TV connected to the internet through Apple TV or Amazon Prime but we do not have any cable service. We also have a DVD player. The cottage has many board games, puzzles, some books, some children's toys, DVD's, 2 yoga mats and a fully equipped picnic basket. Two folding chairs are located in the laundry room. There are two folding lounge chaises available upon request (these must stay at the guest cottage). Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, back packs and boogie boards are available upon request for outings to the beach, lake or hiking. Please ask for these in advance.

Other things to note
We live next to California national forest so be prepared to see and hear wildlife. It is wonderful and adds to your experience here. Bird lovers will be in heaven here with over 30 species of birds nesting in our oak trees. It is common to see deer, squirrels, raccoons, opossum, chipmunks, rabbits, hawks, falcons, and lizards throughout the property and surrounding area. You may hear coyotes at night. It is rare but you may also see bobcats, lynx, bears, fox, frogs, toads, snakes, owls, and roadrunners. Please keep the screen doors shut when going in and out of the guest cottage so critters and bugs do not get inside. Take food inside after you are done eating on the patio so it does not attract animals.
Ventura County only allows 4 people, INCLUDING INFANTS AND CHILDREN to stay overnight in our cottage. If you arrive with more than 4 people, you will need to find another place to stay for the extra people in your group.
Parties are not allowed but respectful gatherings are allowed of up to no more than 10 people and must end at 10pm.
We do not allow pets. We have a pet dander allergy and respectfully ask all guests not to allow animals in the cottage.
Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. Additional guests are not allowed during these hours.
We live at the end of a country road called Tower Drive. It is paved except for the last 2/10th of a mile which is road base and gravel and may be uneven at times during the rainy season. We take care of the road and it is well maintained. We are Prius owners and can easily navigate on the road daily. It is best to drive slowly (10 miles an hour or less) so you do not kick up any dust during the dry season.
Our driveway is very steep but levels out at the parking area in front of the guest cottage. If you have a low seated car like a Prius, your car will scrape. You can park up by our home instead if you like. Please let us know ahead of time so we can make sure to have it available for you.
Make sure to follow the directions we send you to get to the guest cottage. Mapping programs will send you down an unimproved farm road that does not reach our home accurately. You need to turn onto Tower Drive directly across from Boccali's Restaurant outdoor dining area. Our home and guest cottage are the last property on the road.
Our property faces a citrus grove and from time to time there will be workers actively working in the grove which may create noise. During the winter on the rare occasion when it freezes, the citrus farmer will turn on the wind fans to keep the temperatures from injuring their fruit. We do not own this property and are not allowed to walk into the grove.
There is no extra parking on our road. You will need to park up on the driveway in front of the guest cottage (large enough for 2 cars side by side). There is extra parking up at our home but you will need to ask permission from us before parking there. We use this area for our friends and visitors.

I am an avid Airbnb renter and I personally love it when I rent a home that is fully stocked with everything I need. So that is the experience that I have created for you. I have designed a chef's kitchen with everything you might need to enjoy your culinary experience. The home is stocked with zip locks, tin foil, toilet paper, paper towels, olive oil, Himalayan salt and pepper kleenex, hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and laundry detergent. Baking pans, pie pans, cookie sheets, blender, food processor, coffee grinder, coffee maker, full set of pots and pans, and even a garlic press and a lemon squeezer are provided! I hope I have thought of everything to make your stay luxurious.

You will have access to a shared washer and dryer with unscented plant-based laundry soap provided. Beach towels and boogie boards are also provided to enjoy the beach just 20 mins away. You will have your own parking space and access to electric charging for an additional fee.

Our property is located in the magical East End of Ojai amidst avocado and orange groves. The guest cottage is a separate home and is situated under a canopy of mature trees which offers privacy for our guests.

Nestled in a picturesque valley, Ojai is renowned for its' idyllic beauty and solitude. It has long drawn seekers, including the Indian sage Jiddu Krishnamurti and John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

The space
The private cottage is a very cozy place to call home. We call it the Honey House and it is ideal for guests looking for a relaxed getaway from the hustle and bustle. We welcome people from all walks of life.

Set under a canopy of mature tall trees with green plants everywhere. The fully shaded cottage is nicely furnished with wood furniture and a comfortable queen size bed with high quality linen and pillows. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything to make you feel at home. We also provide a good selection of teas and coffee.

The early mornings, evenings and nights are remarkably quiet due to the East End being sparsely populated. At night there isn't a sound to be heard except the odd owl hooting and crickets. There is a small private preschool nearby and the sounds of happy young children can sometimes be heard during the day, and that would only be weekdays.

Although we love animals (we have 2 dogs and a cat of our own) we do not allow animals in or around the guest house.

If you are coming from the big city you will no doubt be impressed by the crisp clean cool mountain air that comes in every night and lingers through the early morning. These are the best times to take a stroll along the orange and avocado grove streets that surround the property.

We as your hosts have worked in the hotel services field and you can count on the cottage to be detail cleaned and well appointed with all the amenities to make you feel right at home.

The Honey House is a very special and cozy place.

Ideal for singles and couples, or if you are travelling with a friend we have a nice pull out futon that seconds as a comfy bed.

Nearby is the Ojai Turtle Conservancy, Thacher School, Beatrice Wood Pottery Studio, the oft missed but spectacular Meher Mount with the most amazing views of Ventura County and of course Meditation Mount, which is the ultimate place to watch the sunset and is only a 5 minute drive from our property.

The tv in this room comes with cable and all your favorite channels to include HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Disney+, and more. If you prefer to enjoy the tranquility of lounging poolside you will find the pool just steps outside your bedroom door.

The bathroom has a shower and offers toiletries and hair dryer for use. This bathroom is shared with the king room next door to you. If the king room is not occupied/rented this will be a private bath for you.

The kitchen is located just off the hallway outside of your room. Large and fully stocked with espresso machine, pots, pans, utensils and all you would need to create and enjoy a meal.

There are plenty dining spaces available for you. In the kitchen there is bar like seating at the island and a nice table with two chairs in the window nook. Just outside the the kitchen there is an indoor dining table and outside the dining room glass doors you will find a patio table that is lit up at night.

"Indy", my boxer, loves people and is a permanent guest. She will be in the northern part of the home (opposite you) and sometimes in the backyard--if this is a problem, please let me know and I will make sure she gives you your privacy.

Guest access
The owner lives on the same property, at the back of the property, separated by a privacy fence.

There is another tenant that lives in the house/ a separate wing of house and separated by a locked door. The tenant has his own private entrance on the side of the house.

The washer and dryer is also located outside on the back side of the home.

Other things to note
The owner is a retired hunting guide and the founder of Alaska Guide Creations binocular packs.
He would be happy to take you on a guided hike and glass for deer if that’s of interest to you.
He was born and raised in Ojai and he sure knows the back country!

There is another tenant that lives in the house in a separate bedroom and their own separate private entrance.
There is no shared space, you still have your privacy.

Your private oasis awaits. This bedroom is one of two available in this shared home. Offering a private poolside entrance secluded from the main living space you will feel welcome and right at home. Venture steps from your door and enjoy a bbq and dip in the pool or stargaze the night away.

The space
This king bedroom is one of two available in this spacious home. The private poolside entrance allows you to have a space secluded from the owners living quarters which is on the opposite end of the home. The workspace includes a desk, chair, and high speed internet. A sitting chair is nestled nicely in the room allowing you to relax and watch tv. The tv in this room comes with cable and all your favorite channels to include HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Disney+, and more. If you prefer to enjoy the tranquility of lounging poolside you will find the pool just steps outside your bedroom door.

The bathroom has a shower and offers toiletries and hair dryer for use. This bathroom is shared with the queen room next door to you. If the queen room is not occupied/rented this will be a private bath for you.

The kitchen is located just off the hallway outside of your room. Large and fully stocked with espresso machine, pots, pans, utensils and all you would need to create and enjoy a meal.

There are plenty dining spaces available for you. In the kitchen there is bar like seating at the island and a nice table and two chairs in the window nook. Just outside the the kitchen there is an indoor dining table and outside the dining room glass doors you will find a patio table that is lit up at night.

Access to a state of the art smoker is available to you on the patio. Wood for the smoker is available for purchase on-site, must use wood provided on site.

Guest access
You will have a private entry to your room. Access to a full bathroom, kitchen, dining room, patio, and swimming pool.

Access for an additional fee includes: private bathroom, BBQ smoker, and extra queen bedroom.

During your stay
In this shared home the guest will have the entire west wing of the home to themselves. Guests may use the common shared area to include the living room, kitchen, and laundry. I am happy to meet new people and socialize but only at the request of my guests. There is a medium size dog on premises but she remains on the east wing of the home and will not enter the rented space.

Other things to note
The home is set up perfectly for privacy. When home, I occupy a room on the opposite end of the home. I am open to conversation should you initiate, however during your stay your privacy comes first.

"Indy", my boxer, loves people and is a permanent guest. She will be in the northern part of the home (opposite you) and sometimes in the backyard--if this is a problem, please let me know and I will make sure she gives you your privacy.

Adorable studio attached to Family Farm house with a private entrance , privacy from the main house and gated yard located in Ojai California. Fruit trees, farm animals and we have another rental called opals En Suite possibly available if it’s not booked so you can bring more guests. The space
We have two private rentals on the property but this rental is the one with the private yard to the left. You will hear farm sounds and our family living here due to raised foundation home.

Guest access
Please let us know if you would like to use the hot tub. We have to turn it off and on for you and the timing isn’t always right.

Other things to note
There is a futon in the room but it is small.

Pool is not always available. Sometimes our family and neighbors are using the backyard. You might see us. Pool is at times rented out for events in the community. If you would like to make sure the pool is available, please book on the app a discount code will be provided for you. Hot tub is usually available at night, but please ask us to be sure.

We live in the farm house and you will see us around the property.
