- "We spent the long Thanksgiving weekend here and had a great stay. The complex is literally a block away from a gorgeous beach - we'd grab one of the beach chairs and hang out, or go for a sunset stroll, or head south on a longer walk to see the seal sanctuary. It's also an easy walk to cafes in the town. There is a comfy couch for watching TV, a dining table for eating together, plus a well-equipped kitchen (Vitamix blender + Keurig coffee maker!). The king bed was very comfy; the twin beds for our college-age kids were maybe a bit small, but they didn't complain. I'd recommend bringing your own bottled water; the tap water is very hard/mineralized so I felt better about not drinking it directly from the tap. But great water pressure! We really enjoyed our stay."

Set on a beautiful 5 1/2 acre groomed estate grounds, the Guest Quarters, which is under the same roof as the main house, but has its own entrance. It is private and a completely separate flat with a stocked European kitchen with full sized appliances. The double French iron doors open up to a hand carved Santa Barbara stone fountain full of koi fish and a patio to enjoy al fresco dining. The view is expansive and lovely. There is a filter RO device on the water spicket and cold filtered ice and water in the refrigerator door. There is a soft water unit supplying soft water for your showers. Beach towels are available for beach goers. Trail to beach is a beautiful 15-20 minute walk along a stream. Shutters can be closed for black out morning sleepers or open to see the fountain feel the ocean breeze and enjoy the garden. The sounds of birds and water will make you relax instantly, and if that doesn't, light the fireplace and cuddle up with a selection of pods of your favorite coffee, or take a refreshing dip in the pool.

Mountain View from bedroom window and only steps to one of California’s premiere family friendly beaches. Quick walk to world famous “the Spot” burgers but really, it’s all about the beach, it’s like so close! Walking trails in the wetlands are close too, the kids love exploring there. Carp’s got some cool restaurants too, our favorite is Teddy’s by the Sea. Partly because our dog is named Teddy but food’s pretty good too!

The space
Cozy and quiet 1 bedroom unit. Large King size bed with Mountain view from window. Full size kitchen with tv in living room. Located on 2nd floor so your won’t hear footsteps from above. With that being said, please be mindful of neighbors downstairs, they are an elderly couple who live on site year round.

NOTE: Some guests have complained there isn’t an HVAC system. The building is over 70 years old and there wasn’t a need for AC back then. None of the units have AC. I have purchased 2 portable AC units and they work pretty well but they aren’t the same as standard air conditioning. In addition, there are ceiling fans in each room and box fans also available. For colder nights there are 2 portable floor heaters as well. I just want to make sure you’re aware the entire building doesn’t have HVAC system in any unit, it’s not just mine.

Front door has a keypad for entry. There is parking around the back and you’ll need a parking key card which will be on kitchen counter.

Amtrak stops many times each day for fast easy trip to Santa Barbara and points beyond. LAX is the International airport that serves the area, about 2 hours South. The smaller Santa Barbara Airport is about 30 minutes away.

With an ideal location just east of bustling Santa Barbara, you can spend your days down on the sand with a good book, beach combing along Carpinteria State Beach, and hiking at Salt Creek Marsh Nature Preserve. On the evenings that you don't feel like making your meals, there are dozens of restaurants within a few blocks of your cozy Carpinteria retreat.

Featuring a classic, split-level design, the main level of this Carpinteria vacation loft holds a comfortable living room decked out in neutral tones, with pops of orange from the artwork and throw pillows. There are a couple of sofas for lounging (as well as an air mattress), a large TV for entertainment, and a distinctively laid-back style. In addition to the dining room table, you'll also have some seats at the breakfast bar, overlooking the kitchen.

When it is time to get a meal on the table, the kitchen is compact but nicely functional with tiled countertops, a refrigerator, and a stovetop/oven. There's even a blender for fruit smoothies or margaritas. And when it's time to do the dishes, just let them soak while you watch a movie or head down to the beach.

At night, the sleeping loft upstairs has a comfortable bed, along with a skylight, and accessories like reading lamps and a shelf full of books. The full bathroom is also located on the loft level. Between the bed and a queen-size air mattress, four adults can comfortably stay at this Carpinteria vacation home.

Gorgeous Carpinteria State Beach is about 200 yards away and is the perfect setting for a beach-side picnic, an afternoon lounging in the shade of a beach umbrella, or a day of building sandcastles. The space
The White Sage is a 24 ft Airstream. Nice and cozy inside. It has a small mini drink fridge, three burner stove top and small oven. TV with limited channels but with your password you can access Netflix. Coffee, creamer and all the cooking items you will need to create a meal are provided. Bath towels are provided. The dining table can be made into a single bed. AC/heat are available if needed. Outside the Airstream are chairs, picnic table and propane fire pit for evening relaxation. Out door lights hang on the fence that will come on at sunset and automatically go off at 10:00 p.m. Each Airstream has fence for privacy. Our cats and chickens are very social and will pay you a visit. The horse always loves an apple or carrot if you have extra. The property is lit with solar lights but otherwise it is dark for night sky viewing.

Guest access
After coming up the long driveway and turning into the second driveway on the right guest will open the gate (no code, just slide the wood) drive through and close the gate each time, continue and park in front of your designated Airstream.

This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo is the perfect place for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Carpinteria. The home features spacious bedrooms and newly renovated bathrooms. Just a short 5-minute walk to the Carpinteria bluffs. Located in a lovely neighborhood, less than 1 block to the large community pool and only 0.1 miles to Monte Vista Park.

The first floor features a living room, dining nook, half-bathroom, and an updated kitchen. Both the kitchen and dining nook open to the backyard where you will find the sunny patio with outdoor furniture and a gas grill - perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. Upstairs are the two spacious bedrooms, plenty of storage, and a beautifully updated bathroom with walk-in shower. The dog stays on the front of property, does not have access to guest quarters.

The space
The space is a tiny house custom constructed on a 30’ by 8’ trailer. It is on a hill in the middle of an avocado orchard over looking Carpinteria and the ocean. The main sleeping loft has stairs and the smaller loft has a ladder for access. There is a full size refridgerator and washer and dryer and electric range. There is a small bathroom with a shower and toilet. Couch and TV and Wifi in the living space. Stools for eating at indoor counter or outdoor counter. Outdoor patio with furniture and a propane BBQ.

Guests will have access to the entire home as well as the fenced in yard that makes the area dog friendly. Fully furnished home located on the top floor, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, Kitchen, Living Room, and the only balcony in the triplex with a view. Hardwood floors throughout the entire condo.

Living Room comes with 50-inch flat screen television, a Sony Playstation 3 (PS3), a collection of dvds, games, and music cds . Smart Tv with no standard cable service.

Kitchen is fully stocked with refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, gas stove, oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker, microwave, and other essential kitchenware.

Master bedroom has Queen size bed layered with comfy memory foam , private bathroom with bathtub shower, spacious sliding door closet, two nightstands, two dressers, DVD player, 50-inch television, and a large collection of dvd movies to use at your leisure.

Second bedroom has bunk-bed with two full sized mattresses, dresser drawer, and sliding door closet.

Second Bathroom is located down the hallway (next to washer and dryer ) and comes with standing shower.

The Balcony has a sliding glass door entrance and offers a great view of the surrounding neighborhood, palm trees, and sunset. Enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze while having a barbecue! Balcony comes with barbecue grill along with patio table set for four.
