Guests will enjoy comfort and tranquility in this beautiful 6-bedroom, 6,000 square foot single-level estate home. This fantastic retreat home is set within a 1.4 acre park-like setting with many water features, gardens and walking paths. The home's main living area boasts two separate seating areas, a 12-seat dining table adjacent to the showpiece fireplace and a huge gourmet kitchen. The adjacent, 1,000 sq. ft. entertainment room has a 90" large screen theatre with surround sound and theatre seating, as well as two huge bean bag chairs. The room also has a pool table, large wood-burning stone fireplace, a game table and a large, 7-seat full bar area. Just outside is a covered patio with farm table seating for 20 just adjacent to the beautiful koi pond. The property includes 2 king bedroom suites (The Monarch and The Dragonfly), 2 additional king bedrooms (The Hummingbird and The Koi), both with full bathrooms and two attached bedrooms (the Coyote and the Crow) with 2 twin beds per room and a shared full bathroom. For exercise enthusiasts, we also have a 500 sq. ft. gym with 4 workout machines, free weights,Yoga mats, a 75" flat-screen television, kitchenette with beverage refrigerator and a Queen-size sofa bed for that "extra" guest. The park-like back yard includes a large outdoor bar with large flat-screen television, BBQ, and a large covered cabana with 12-person seating, 100" large-screen television for "outdoor movie nights", as well as a fire pit, sauna, bathroom and outdoor shower.This home is perfect for larger groups and family retreats.
If you desire to explore "off-property", there is no shortage of places to go and things to do. There numerous beaches minutes away along our beautiful coastline, boat excursions to the nearby Channel Islands, dozens of local restaurants and shops, as well as shopping at the Camarillo Outlet shopping center, boasting over 160 stores and restaurants. For outdoor activities, there are hiking and biking trails, numerous golf courses, as well as activities such as bowling, miniature golf, lazer tag, go cart racetracks, arcades, trampoline and aquatic centers, horseback riding, and much, much more. Enjoy lovely drives along the coast, visits to the many local wineries and breweries, cultural excursions such as the California Missions and the nearby Ronald Reagan Presidential library. There are many delightful places to visit within 30-60 minutes, such as the lovely towns of Carpinteria, Ojai and Santa Barbara. Parking · You will have your own parking space on-site, just across from the apartment. The space can fit 2 vehicles. There is also free street parking.

As your host, I highly value the experience you have while staying at the apartment. I'm quick to respond to all communications through the AirBnB app. If I'm available & requested, I can welcome guests in-person for their check-in. Otherwise, it is self check-in for your convenience.

The Avocado Acres Apartment is located in The Camarillo Heights neighborhood where no two houses are the same. There is a charming back roads vibe in this area as it is an unincorporated part of the city/county with lots of character. You will truly feel like a local when strolling through.

This apartment itself resides in a "working" avocado orchard, it is a unique setting, but also must be respected as it is not a fairytale land. There is heavy machinery, tools, and other work items present around the orchard. We mention this so there are no misaligned expectations.

You are within a 5 minute drive of The Camarillo Village Square where you can find Sprouts, Grocery Outlet, Rite Aid, Orange Theory, Planet Fitness, PizzaMan Dan's, Relm Wine & Beer Bistro, Ric's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, Ruby's Mexican Restaurant, Mika Sushi, along with various Salons & Spas. There is also local favorite (ie. "world-famous") Rolling Pin Donuts nearby!

If you're feeling adventurous for a stroll, I recommend traversing any road that leads upward into the hills of The Camarillo Heights. You will get a great workout and the farmland views out to the Pacific Ocean from "the top of the world" are incredible.

Random (yet helpful) Need-to-Knows · The property is part of the unincorporated county area - Camarillo Heights. This area of Camarillo is on mutual well water, which produces "hard water" (please research online if you're unfamiliar). Ultimately, it is more minerally in taste and scent. Some folks may be sensitive to this type of water as it is not conditioned/soft water... it is au naturale, if you will. We have placed a water filter in the fridge to accommodate comfort levels for cooking or drinking. As lifelong residents to the area, we do not find issue with this water type, but think it's important to give folks who aren't from the area a heads up :-)

Also, the portable air conditioner is in the bedroom to ensure a comfortable climate for sleeping. If you are unfamiliar with portable air conditioners, please note that they are internal room units that attach to a window for ventilation (it is not a central system for the entire space). Since they are internal to the room you will hear the machine working to keep the room cool - noise level will depend on the strength of the setting you select. You will want to make sure you have the correct setting on and the door closed to keep the desired climate.

Walk into a private & spacious studio where you can relax. You have your own private entrance. We offer a comfy King bed, a full kitchen with a Keurig, microwave, and 55" TV (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, & Disney+). There is a private bathroom with a dual head walk-in shower. You have a porch with a beautiful view. Our space is meant to be a relaxing getaway. Please no infants. Due to severe allergies we are unable to accommodate your pets. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.

Views from the unit include a variety of plants, flowers and trees. There is a variety of fruit trees further back on the property where there is a table and 4 chairs w/umbrella, for coffee and/or remote working. Overall, the property is serene and peaceful.

Property sits on almost 1 acre with a 2,100 sq/ft house. All 4 sofa's turn into Queen beds with a memory foam mattress. Additional bedding and towels are provided. This house sleeps a total of 22 people comfortably!

Free Electric Vehicle Charging Station provided in driveway (Tesla's need adaptor).

There are extra fees for any “events”. The charges you see right now is only for the overnight stay. We have very strict rules and guidelines for “events” at this property. All guests must get prior approval from host which consists of paying the extra Event fee if approved to continue with the booking & event. Events are defined by multiple items such as party rentals, tables and chairs, tents, catering, musicians, DJ's, etc. We must always be advised if any of this is taking place on the property and all the guests must get prior approval for any and all events and we always charge extra for this option to throw events here.

Although you have the property to enjoy to the fullest. We do ask to keep the outside music/noise to a decent volume. During the night hours when there is no traffic, noise/music tends to travel louder and can sometimes be too loud for our neighbors and cause disruption. So for the sake of no complaints please keep it to a minimum.

With the extra event fee, you are able to use the entire property grounds for your event. We have no restrictions on bringing your choice of vendors, decorations and catering to your liking. While cleaning is included in the event fee, we do expect our guests to respect the property and throw away all trash and debris into the trash bins prior to leaving.

(We have cameras on the outside areas and if we find out there is an event without it being disclosed in advance, approved, and paid for, you will be automatically charged an additional minimum $2,500)

Also, there has been no smoking inside the house since new, & no smoking is allowed inside the house.

The brown house and main grounds are for guests. The property line goes down to the back of the barranca (ditch), beyond it is a public access equestrian trail for hiking. The smaller guest home on the right is occupied by your hosts, Daniel and Hanna and is off limits to guests
Other things to note
There are several rope swings on the property. Our children have enjoyed using them, but please exercise good judgment and caution with regards to age, ability, weight, etc.

Also, since it is an old working ranch, there's always the chance that we've missed a nailed board or something of that nature in the brush. Please be thoughtful about footwear in bushed areas.

This home has brought so much joy, community, and blessing to our family and friends, and we are excited to share it with others. As stated above, there is a chapel on the premises, and some religious items throughout the house. All are welcome, though we ask for respectful decorum as this property remains a sacred place to us.

20 minutes from the beach (Ventura, Oxnard, Malibu), and we've got some surfboards and boogie boards for you to take along! 6o minutes to Los Angeles, 35 minutes to Ojai, 40 minutes to Santa Barbara, and 7 minutes to the Camarillo outlets. There's plenty to do in the area, but you might not want to go anywhere at all. :)

This bungalow is functional, clean, and equipped to meet all your needs for a relaxing stay (long or short). Take a load off in the extremely comfy Queen-size bed. Concealed storage for your items is easy in the large armoire with hangers plenty of drawers. We've included an iron and full-size iron board as well. The kitchen has the essentials and then some to prep tasty meals at any time of day. In the bathroom, we have everything stocked to ensure you feel comfortable. The living room can either be a relaxing space for a movie or to watch the game while kicking your feet up in the recliner.

Breakfast Items · The Coffee & Tea Bar will allow you to make your favorite brew utilizing K-cups and bottled water or the Brita pitcher. Assorted teas are available while the kettle is on the stove.

Entertainment · Fiberoptic Internet and WiFi is available. It is BYOL (Bring Your Own Login) for any streaming apps you'd like to stay up with. This is easy with the Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. Normal streaming/digital TV channels are available incase you don't utilize any apps yourself, but want to catch the news or some game shows. You can also screen share/mirror any media from devices.

Parking · You will have 2 places to park. One space in the right side of driveway (and even slightly on the gravel for a bigger vehicle). The second space is just in front of the bungalow - partially on the property and shoulder of the road. There is also ample free street parking.

There is no wandering in the orchard. The bungalow and backyard are the designated areas for guests.

As your host, I highly value the experience you have while staying at the bungalow. I'm quick to respond to all communications through the AirBnB app. If I'm available & requested, I can welcome guests in-person for their check-in. Otherwise, it is self check-in for your convenience.

The Camarillo Amarillo is located in The Camarillo Heights neighborhood where no two houses are the same. There is a charming back roads vibe in this area as it is an unincorporated part of the city/county with lots of character. You will truly feel like a local when strolling through.

This bungalow resides in a "working" avocado orchard, it is a unique setting, but also must be respected as it is not a fairytale land. There is heavy machinery, tools, and other work items present around the orchard. We mention this so there are no misaligned expectations.

You are within a 5 minute drive of The Camarillo Village Square where you can find Sprouts, Grocery Outlet, Rite Aid, Orange Theory, Planet Fitness, PizzaMan Dan's, Relm Wine & Beer Bistro, Ric's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, Ruby's Mexican Restaurant, Mika Sushi, along with various Salons & Spas. There is also local favorite (ie. "world-famous") Rolling Pin Donuts nearby!

If you're feeling adventurous for a stroll, I recommend traversing any road that leads upward into the hills of The Camarillo Heights. You will get a great workout and the farmland views out to the Pacific Ocean from "the top of the world" are incredible.

Random (yet helpful) Need-to-Knows · The property is part of the unincorporated county area - Camarillo Heights. This area of Camarillo is on mutual well water, which produces "hard water" (please research online if you're unfamiliar). Ultimately, it is more minerally in taste and scent. Some folks may be sensitive to this type of water as it is not conditioned/soft water... it is au naturale, if you will. We have a Brita filter water pitcher to accommodate comfort levels for cooking or drinking. As lifelong residents to the area, we do not find issue with this water type, but think it's important to give folks who aren't from the area a heads up :-)
