Guests will enjoy comfort and tranquility in this beautiful 6-bedroom, 6,000 square foot single-level estate home. This fantastic retreat home is set within a 1.4 acre park-like setting with many water features, gardens and walking paths. The home's main living area boasts two separate seating areas, a 12-seat dining table adjacent to the showpiece fireplace and a huge gourmet kitchen. The adjacent, 1,000 sq. ft. entertainment room has a 90" large screen theatre with surround sound and theatre seating, as well as two huge bean bag chairs. The room also has a pool table, large wood-burning stone fireplace, a game table and a large, 7-seat full bar area. Just outside is a covered patio with farm table seating for 20 just adjacent to the beautiful koi pond. The property includes 2 king bedroom suites (The Monarch and The Dragonfly), 2 additional king bedrooms (The Hummingbird and The Koi), both with full bathrooms and two attached bedrooms (the Coyote and the Crow) with 2 twin beds per room and a shared full bathroom. For exercise enthusiasts, we also have a 500 sq. ft. gym with 4 workout machines, free weights,Yoga mats, a 75" flat-screen television, kitchenette with beverage refrigerator and a Queen-size sofa bed for that "extra" guest. The park-like back yard includes a large outdoor bar with large flat-screen television, BBQ, and a large covered cabana with 12-person seating, 100" large-screen television for "outdoor movie nights", as well as a fire pit, sauna, bathroom and outdoor shower.This home is perfect for larger groups and family retreats.
If you desire to explore "off-property", there is no shortage of places to go and things to do. There numerous beaches minutes away along our beautiful coastline, boat excursions to the nearby Channel Islands, dozens of local restaurants and shops, as well as shopping at the Camarillo Outlet shopping center, boasting over 160 stores and restaurants. For outdoor activities, there are hiking and biking trails, numerous golf courses, as well as activities such as bowling, miniature golf, lazer tag, go cart racetracks, arcades, trampoline and aquatic centers, horseback riding, and much, much more. Enjoy lovely drives along the coast, visits to the many local wineries and breweries, cultural excursions such as the California Missions and the nearby Ronald Reagan Presidential library. There are many delightful places to visit within 30-60 minutes, such as the lovely towns of Carpinteria, Ojai and Santa Barbara. Parking · You will have your own parking space on-site, just across from the apartment. The space can fit 2 vehicles. There is also free street parking.

As your host, I highly value the experience you have while staying at the apartment. I'm quick to respond to all communications through the AirBnB app. If I'm available & requested, I can welcome guests in-person for their check-in. Otherwise, it is self check-in for your convenience.

The Avocado Acres Apartment is located in The Camarillo Heights neighborhood where no two houses are the same. There is a charming back roads vibe in this area as it is an unincorporated part of the city/county with lots of character. You will truly feel like a local when strolling through.

This apartment itself resides in a "working" avocado orchard, it is a unique setting, but also must be respected as it is not a fairytale land. There is heavy machinery, tools, and other work items present around the orchard. We mention this so there are no misaligned expectations.

You are within a 5 minute drive of The Camarillo Village Square where you can find Sprouts, Grocery Outlet, Rite Aid, Orange Theory, Planet Fitness, PizzaMan Dan's, Relm Wine & Beer Bistro, Ric's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, Ruby's Mexican Restaurant, Mika Sushi, along with various Salons & Spas. There is also local favorite (ie. "world-famous") Rolling Pin Donuts nearby!

If you're feeling adventurous for a stroll, I recommend traversing any road that leads upward into the hills of The Camarillo Heights. You will get a great workout and the farmland views out to the Pacific Ocean from "the top of the world" are incredible.

Random (yet helpful) Need-to-Knows · The property is part of the unincorporated county area - Camarillo Heights. This area of Camarillo is on mutual well water, which produces "hard water" (please research online if you're unfamiliar). Ultimately, it is more minerally in taste and scent. Some folks may be sensitive to this type of water as it is not conditioned/soft water... it is au naturale, if you will. We have placed a water filter in the fridge to accommodate comfort levels for cooking or drinking. As lifelong residents to the area, we do not find issue with this water type, but think it's important to give folks who aren't from the area a heads up :-)

Also, the portable air conditioner is in the bedroom to ensure a comfortable climate for sleeping. If you are unfamiliar with portable air conditioners, please note that they are internal room units that attach to a window for ventilation (it is not a central system for the entire space). Since they are internal to the room you will hear the machine working to keep the room cool - noise level will depend on the strength of the setting you select. You will want to make sure you have the correct setting on and the door closed to keep the desired climate.

Walk into a private & spacious studio where you can relax. You have your own private entrance. We offer a comfy King bed, a full kitchen with a Keurig, microwave, and 55" TV (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, & Disney+). There is a private bathroom with a dual head walk-in shower. You have a porch with a beautiful view. Our space is meant to be a relaxing getaway. Please no infants. Due to severe allergies we are unable to accommodate your pets. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.

Views from the unit include a variety of plants, flowers and trees. There is a variety of fruit trees further back on the property where there is a table and 4 chairs w/umbrella, for coffee and/or remote working. Overall, the property is serene and peaceful.

Property sits on almost 1 acre with a 2,100 sq/ft house. All 4 sofa's turn into Queen beds with a memory foam mattress. Additional bedding and towels are provided. This house sleeps a total of 22 people comfortably!

Free Electric Vehicle Charging Station provided in driveway (Tesla's need adaptor).

There are extra fees for any “events”. The charges you see right now is only for the overnight stay. We have very strict rules and guidelines for “events” at this property. All guests must get prior approval from host which consists of paying the extra Event fee if approved to continue with the booking & event. Events are defined by multiple items such as party rentals, tables and chairs, tents, catering, musicians, DJ's, etc. We must always be advised if any of this is taking place on the property and all the guests must get prior approval for any and all events and we always charge extra for this option to throw events here.

Although you have the property to enjoy to the fullest. We do ask to keep the outside music/noise to a decent volume. During the night hours when there is no traffic, noise/music tends to travel louder and can sometimes be too loud for our neighbors and cause disruption. So for the sake of no complaints please keep it to a minimum.

With the extra event fee, you are able to use the entire property grounds for your event. We have no restrictions on bringing your choice of vendors, decorations and catering to your liking. While cleaning is included in the event fee, we do expect our guests to respect the property and throw away all trash and debris into the trash bins prior to leaving.

(We have cameras on the outside areas and if we find out there is an event without it being disclosed in advance, approved, and paid for, you will be automatically charged an additional minimum $2,500)

Also, there has been no smoking inside the house since new, & no smoking is allowed inside the house.

The brown house and main grounds are for guests. The property line goes down to the back of the barranca (ditch), beyond it is a public access equestrian trail for hiking. The smaller guest home on the right is occupied by your hosts, Daniel and Hanna and is off limits to guests
Other things to note
There are several rope swings on the property. Our children have enjoyed using them, but please exercise good judgment and caution with regards to age, ability, weight, etc.

Also, since it is an old working ranch, there's always the chance that we've missed a nailed board or something of that nature in the brush. Please be thoughtful about footwear in bushed areas.

This home has brought so much joy, community, and blessing to our family and friends, and we are excited to share it with others. As stated above, there is a chapel on the premises, and some religious items throughout the house. All are welcome, though we ask for respectful decorum as this property remains a sacred place to us.

20 minutes from the beach (Ventura, Oxnard, Malibu), and we've got some surfboards and boogie boards for you to take along! 6o minutes to Los Angeles, 35 minutes to Ojai, 40 minutes to Santa Barbara, and 7 minutes to the Camarillo outlets. There's plenty to do in the area, but you might not want to go anywhere at all. :)

Entertainment · Fiberoptic Internet and WiFi is available. It is BYOL (Bring Your Own Login) for any streaming apps you'd like to stay up with. This is easy with the Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. Normal streaming/digital TV channels are available incase you don't utilize any apps yourself, but want to catch the news or some game shows. You can also screen share/mirror any media from devices.

Parking · You will have 2 places to park. One space in the right side of driveway (and even slightly on the gravel for a bigger vehicle). The second space is just in front of the bungalow - partially on the property and shoulder of the road. There is also ample free street parking.

There is no wandering in the orchard. The bungalow and backyard are the designated areas for guests.

As your host, I highly value the experience you have while staying at the bungalow. I'm quick to respond to all communications through the AirBnB app. If I'm available & requested, I can welcome guests in-person for their check-in. Otherwise, it is self check-in for your convenience.

The Camarillo Amarillo is located in The Camarillo Heights neighborhood where no two houses are the same. There is a charming back roads vibe in this area as it is an unincorporated part of the city/county with lots of character. You will truly feel like a local when strolling through.

This bungalow resides in a "working" avocado orchard, it is a unique setting, but also must be respected as it is not a fairytale land. There is heavy machinery, tools, and other work items present around the orchard. We mention this so there are no misaligned expectations.

You are within a 5 minute drive of The Camarillo Village Square where you can find Sprouts, Grocery Outlet, Rite Aid, Orange Theory, Planet Fitness, PizzaMan Dan's, Relm Wine & Beer Bistro, Ric's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, Ruby's Mexican Restaurant, Mika Sushi, along with various Salons & Spas. There is also local favorite (ie. "world-famous") Rolling Pin Donuts nearby!

If you're feeling adventurous for a stroll, I recommend traversing any road that leads upward into the hills of The Camarillo Heights. You will get a great workout and the farmland views out to the Pacific Ocean from "the top of the world" are incredible.

Random (yet helpful) Need-to-Knows · The property is part of the unincorporated county area - Camarillo Heights. This area of Camarillo is on mutual well water, which produces "hard water" (please research online if you're unfamiliar). Ultimately, it is more minerally in taste and scent. Some folks may be sensitive to this type of water as it is not conditioned/soft water... it is au naturale, if you will. We have a Brita filter water pitcher to accommodate comfort levels for cooking or drinking. As lifelong residents to the area, we do not find issue with this water type, but think it's important to give folks who aren't from the area a heads up :-)

Unique two level layout within the private bedroom includes an upper nook with a foam queen size bed (accessible by a custom ladder) and large desk and sofa below. Brand new one bedroom ADU apartment in Camarillo. This is a 640 square foot one bedroom apartment that was recently added over our 3 Car garage. It has its own private entrance, and although attached to the main house, can not be accessed from the main house. No expense was spared while building this apartment and it is finally finished and available for others to enjoy. You will not find a nicer and more affordable place to stay in Camarillo!

The space
You will have the entire 640 square foot apartment to yourself. It is a one bedroom/one bathroom apartment. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pull out sofa bed in the living room. There is also a pack and play crib available for our infant guests. The living room and bedroom both have ceiling recessed Air conditioning/ heating units for perfect climate control. Both rooms also have ceiling fans if preferred. There is a free high speed Wi-Fi connection with Google router. Access to the unit is through a smart lock for easy accessibility. The kitchen is fully stocked and we will provide anything else you can think of that you need. We have a washer and dryer in the unit that is available for 25 dollars a week. Detergent and dryer sheets will be included in the fee.

The space
The space is a built in apartment in the back of my garage. It’s a small space but well lit and comfortable. The garage is the only connecting wall and the entire garage is detached from the main house. It has a full size bed, full kitchen and standing shower. Kitchen has pots and pans and dish ware and a French Press for coffee.

Guests will go through the gate in the driveway if nobody is home. It is very important you keep the gate closed behind you so the dogs don’t escape. They bark but max is sweet and friendly. Essie is also sweet and shy but may approach you for treats.

There is a walking path to the right of the garage which you will follow to the back of the garage for private entrance into the unit. The unit also has access through the garage. At this time the garage is only used for storage and contains the washer / dryer which you can use if needed. Please don’t explore the property or walk around the house. That’s a private residence where we reside and would appreciate folk not meandering around the property. If there is anything you need I likely do have it in the house. But send a message through air Bnb rather than come to the house.

Other things to note
Smoking outdoors only and be extra sure to close the gate behind you when you enter or exit. So my dogs don’t get out.

Need-to-Knows · The kitchenette offers limited water for washing (~4 gallons). It is a self-contained plumbing system, meaning there is a water supply tank in the cabinet with a pump to the sink faucet which then drains to a waste tank on the side.

The water will just be room temperature and you will hear the pump when turning the faucet on. If you've used an RV or trailer sink before, then it's essentially the same experience here.

The glass drinking water dispenser has filtered water (~2.5 gallons). It is dispensed at room temperature as well, but we have an ice cube tray in the mini fridge freezer compartment to help chill your drink.

Random (yet helpful) Need-to-Knows · The property is part of the unincorporated county area - Camarillo Heights. This area of Camarillo is on mutual well water, which produces "hard water" (please research online if you're unfamiliar). Ultimately, it is more minerally in taste and scent. Some folks may be sensitive to this type of water as it is not conditioned/soft water... it is au naturale, if you will. We have placed a water filter in the fridge to accommodate comfort levels for cooking or drinking. As lifelong residents to the area, we do not find issue with this water type, but think it's important to give folks who aren't from the area a heads up :-)

Also, the portable air conditioner is in the bedroom to ensure a comfortable climate for sleeping. If you are unfamiliar with portable air conditioners, please note that they are internal room units that attach to a window for ventilation (it is not a central system for the entire space). Since they are internal to the room you will hear the machine working to keep the room cool - noise level will depend on the strength of the setting you select. You will want to make sure you have the correct setting on and the door closed to keep the desired climate.

Private studio attached to main house with own entrance in beautiful Camarillo. Located in the foothills it is with in walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops. The famous Camarillo Outlets and beaches are not far away. Room is large and bright with new fully stocked kitchen, large Roku smart TV and comfortable furnishings. If you're here for vacation or business this wonderful space awaits you. Studio is below street level and occupant must be able to walk down a ramp.

The space
Studio space is clean and bright and comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked and perfect for long term stays. For long term stays, 2 weeks or more, arrangements can be made to use laundry on site. We have taken extra caution due to Corona virus to make sure that all surfaces are disinfected, dishes washed, all bedding, blankets, shower curtains, bathmats and towels are washed and cleaned between guests.

Guest access
Our home is a 1 story from the front and a 2 story from the back. Occupant must be able to walk down a ramp to get to private entrance. Handrails are provided for extra safety. There is a door that connects to the main house but is kept locked.

Camarillo has a very mild climate and usually has temperatures in the 70's. Even on hot days the evening cool way down as we are only about 14 miles from the beach. There are 3 windows in your space for lots of light and air flow. Fans have also been provided. We do have central heat and AC. A temp sensor is in the studio to better assist for climate control.

You will find a welcome manual inside with a list of how things work inside the studio as well as a list of some local owned places to eat and drink.

We are a functioning home with 3 teen children still at home. I am an ICU nurse and my husband is a local HS teacher. Our weeks are pretty busy with work and kids activities. We have 2 dogs on site so you may hear them on occasion. A side gate keeps our backyard separate from your entrance.

No smoking, vaping, drugs are allowed on premises. No Pets allowed in studio at any time. No parties. Registered guest only.

There is a private entrance to the room. The apartment is equipped with wireless internet connection, television, king size bed, en-suite bathroom, large closet, small fridge, microwave, and deck BBQ area as well as a convection hot plate.
The private balcony overlooks Camarillo, the Santa Monica Mountains, boasts ocean views of the Channel Islands, Anacapa, and Santa Cruz Islands. This residence is built into a hill side and the apartment is located two flights down. You will need to climb up and down stairs, but the views make it well worth it!

Places of interest within 45 minutes' drive include Universal Studios, Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive, Venice Beach, Hollywood Sign, Getty Villa, Malibu, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, local missions (San Buenaventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Ines, Los Olivas), Ronald Reagan Library, Air Force 1 Museum and Camarillo Premium Outlets (120 brand name shops, 8 mins away). Activities include ferries to Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands, kayaking around Anacapa, whale watching (when in season), surf beaches 20 minutes away, great biking and walking trails and much more.

The room in located two flights down so guests would need to go up and down the stairs.

Private studio is located at the front of the home with it's own private entrance. Studio has own entrance with a smart lock. The studio is at the far end of the home, giving complete privacy. There is a door that is connected to the rest of the home that is bolted and blocked with the microwave stand for your complete privacy. The laundry room is conveniently located right next to your studio and is available to you at your request with 24 hours in advance. You can park in the driveway to easily come and go as you please. We have an outdoor ring security camera.

For the most part of the day, the sun does not hit the studio, keeping it cool. Camarillo weather is usually in the 70's year round. Even during hot days, the evenings cool off nicely. Air conditioning is provided for your comfort.

We believe in a clean, comfortable environment where you can kick off your shoes & relax. All used towels & bedding (including the quilt, pillow shams, sheets & blanket) are washed after very guest.

We have a welcome manual that has information on how to use items in studio. There is also recommendations from our favorite restaurants, menus & discount coupons. Every page is wiped down with disinfectant for your safety.

Our home has two teenagers and three dogs. The dogs have no interaction with the studio.

We want all of our guests to have an enjoyable stay and are sensitive to our guest's allergies & needs. No pets are allowed in studio during stay. No smoking or vaping is allowed in studio. No parties allowed.

Laundry Room is only available when you request it. It is connected to the studio & needs to be unlocked. If you need to use it, please Airbnb message ahead of time - 24 hours in advance - and let us know what

The space
Newly Remodeled, quiet and natural surroundings with mountain view, tree orchard and flowers all around. There is a fishpond a green house, vegetable and herb garden with exotic plants and herbs. This is a beautiful 2-acre secluded hideaway with private gate and tree lined driveway that takes you to a water fountain and large parking space for your vehicle(s). The guest house has a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area on the porch. It has a stainless-steel BBQ grill with a single burner on the side. There is a sink and garbage disposal for washing dishes and cleaning after cooking. There are pots, pants, dishes and utensils for cooking and barbeque for making steaks, chickens, fish and vegetables on the grill. This is a gated private property. You will have a remote to the gate so you can come and go as you please. There is a washer and a dryer for washing and drying your clothes if you got your clothes soiled while hiking or walking on many trails in the hills and mountains around, or if you are staying more than few days. Based on the past guest's reviews, this is a place to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate if you are on vacation. Otherwise, it is a place to stay and work remotely while visiting friends and relatives in the area. The WIFI signal is fast and strong, good for streaming or Zoom meetings. There are plenty of tabletops and corners to make a temporary home office or work studio. We will make sure you will have what you need to live and work comfortably.

The entire property that includes fruit bearing avocado and citrus tress are open for walking. Hiking is available on the community horse trails and streets around the house. There are nearby state parks for day long hiking and biking. Ask Gary for information on the area trails and unlimited natural scenery in the Conejo Valley area if you are a hiker or biker. There is a large front yard that accommodates large vehicles or trucks and motor homes, or multiple vehicles if there are 2 cars. All of this is off the street and behind the gate.

Other things to note
There are a lot of places and trails for hiking, biking, sailing, and sightseeing around Conejo Valley. Tri-Peak in Newbury Part is an ideal place to hike or mountain bike the entire day. Wildwood Part is another popular part for a day long hiking. Forget your worries in this spacious studio. Located just up the hill from Sprouts, Rite Aid, Ross, Big 5, Starbucks, St. Johns Hospital, and the Camarillo Library, this nice little retreat feels like you're getting out of the city, but has quick access to all the necessities and is a short drive to main attractions like the Camarillo Outlets, the state beaches and the 101 freeway. Spacious and clean, and there is a hot tub available during winter months and serene space.

The space
This is a studio above a three car garage. There is a laundry room and bathroom downstairs, kitchenette, living space and bed are upstairs. Property is on a flag lot and we have pets who reside on the premises.

Once you see the grey mail box with 450 on it, turn right and go all the way up to the big house in the back.

Guests may use the back porch to sit under the pine trees, or enjoy the hot tub.

We have a dog named Maple 🍁. She is a puppy and still learning her manners. If she sees new people on our property she may run to you and bark to let us know you’re here, but she is very friendly and well socialized.

There are chickens and a rooster on the property.

Key to the guesthouse will be in a lockbox on the back porch by the door.

Hot tub will be available only during certain cooler months of the year. After each use, a capful of the Free and Clear should be put in the hot tub. More instructions will be provided in person if you would like to use it.

There is a set of four plates, utensils, bowls and cups. Several mugs, 2 wine glasses, measuring cups & spoons, mixing bowl, cheese grater, spatulas and bottle opener. One small pot and one small frying pan to use on the hot plate and a toaster oven with cookie sheet. A 4-cup coffee maker with filters, dish towels and wash cloths, salt and pepper.

Amazing location 2 miles from the Camarillo outlets. 13 miles to the beach. 29 miles to Malibu. 8 miles to Point Magu NAS. 7 miles to CSU Channel Islands. It is better to have a car to get around. There is plenty of parking on the street!

Recent updates include two new smart TVs: 53" in the bedroom and a 43" in the living room. Although we have not experienced a power outage, we recently purchased a backup generator in case the need arises.
