It's in a perfect location, closet to AG, beaches and not too far from Cal Poly. The temperatures were great as well. While it was in the 90-100s inland (we visited at the end of July), where the casita is located was really comfortable. No fan was needed, as we opened up the windows and enjoyed the fresh air. I would hight recommend this place and would love to come back to stay again whenever we visit our son at Cal Poly."

Owl Ridge offers guests a bucolic, relaxed setting inside & out. The single-level, cozy "ranchette" has a modern country charm with wood plank flooring throughout, vaulted ceilings in most rooms, skylights, abundant windows with breathtaking views, and an open concept kitchen / living / dining room area. A wood-burning fireplace and 60" Smart TV round out the main living space. A separate office / sitting room with Smart TV (and more breathtaking views outdoors) offers a private spot for remote learning / working or privately streaming your favorite show!

Because Owl Ridge Oasis is our primary residence, it is fully-equipped inside & out with all you will need to make your stay comfortable and secure. As you would expect, it also contains some large-size heirloom pieces of furniture difficult to remove during visits. These sentimental treasures are of great value to us which is why the refundable damage deposit is set higher and the listing clearly states this property is not suitable for anyone under 18 yrs old. We simply ask guests enjoying their time at Owl Ridge to respect our home as if it were their own!

We have two loyal Labs (they travel with us), so are fine with guests bringing along their own pooch (max. 2.) Before final booking confirmation, age, breed, size and other important factors need to be pre-approved. *** Out of respect to other guests as well as our family members with allergies, cats cannot be considered. Please note the listed pet fee is for ONE dog. For 2 dogs, the fee is doubled.

Owl Ridge's simple ranch-style home is situated on a quiet, short private road. The property is best suited for 1-2 couples, an adult girlfriends' or guys' getaway, a family of adults, or other mature guests who enjoy the rustic peacefulness of country living not found in city or suburban areas. The rural and secluded setting offers an escape from hectic big city life. It's a quiet retreat where you can relax, unwind and sleep soundly after a busy day of adventuring!

There are 5 necessities travelers look for most -- a clean dwelling, comfy beds, luxurious linens, good coffee and an accommodating host -- all of which you will find at Owl Ridge. The MBR, with its Swedish king-size "Duxiana" bed, also has a small en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Large double-hung windows and a French door leading outdoors offer peaceful views of the oak tree canopy. The guest BR has its own bathroom across the hallway. It also has a double-hung window and French door leading out to an inviting expansive outdoor living space.

The large entry room offers an optimal "formal" dining space with antique harvest table & chairs for celebrating a special occasion or holiday in style. The airy, bright open room has been a great spot for previous guests to work remotely, as well as socialize while enjoying a complimentary bottle of local wine.

If you are looking for real r-e-l-a-x-a-t-i-o-n, this room is also an excellent space for a luxurious full-body massage (in the privacy of your home away from home) with one of the experienced local therapists. A visit to one of our area's excellent restaurants and / or a soothing soak in the outdoor hot tub afterwards, are perfect ways to end your day...

Owl Ridge's outdoor features include a Jacuzzi brand hot tub positioned directly under the open skies with optimal star gazing (NO city light interference!), 2 Weber BBQ’s (charcoal and gas), several tables & seating for "al fresco" dining, as well as a large fire pit with a few nights of complimentary firewood. The front & back patios, facing west & east respectively, provide great dining spots also for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with bird entertainment from the strategically-placed feeders & baths. You may even want to grab the binoculars and bird chart to identify what species you are viewing.

Surrounding the fenced property are old shady oaks, open fields with natural grassland and expansive, unobstructed views of the countryside hills. All of this is accompanied by the peaceful sounds of nature & pastoral setting found in country living! Guests who decide NOT to use the hot tub during their stay, need to let us know this before booking so the spa technician fee can be removed from their costs.

PLEASE NOTE: depending on the time you stay, the spring grasses (in photos) are lush green during our wet months, but dry out by spring. This area in general is also home to a prolific gopher population! The wonderful trade-off for keeping with the natural landscape (our surrounding acreage is not finely "manicured!") are regular visits from nature's little friends -- plentiful song birds, rabbits, gophers, frogs, quail, turkeys, hawks... and of course, OWLS!

- "I spent a month at ORO as a respite from the confinement of covid. I was so happy to have Margaret welcome not only me, but my 2 dogs. It was easy to transport my workplace to the living room using my portable Oragami folding desk. Despite being on 3 acres in the country, the internet was fast and worked well for Zoom meetings and access to my company's servers. I have T-mobile and could not get cell service, so I made calls through wi-fi. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of running loose throughout the safely fenced property. (No skunks or ticks, as I initially worried about.) The jacuzzi tub was a wonderful spot in which to enjoy the beautiful clear sky at night. The "welcome" bottle of local wine and Peet's coffee was an added treat."

Welcome to our home, Hacienda Felise - Minutes to all points of interest: wineries, beaches, hiking trails, wedding venues, airport! The space Sleeps up to 4 Maximum, 3-5 Night Minimum; Hacienda Felise Estate is the perfect setting for 2-4 adult friends or family members or for up to 2 couples seeking a getaway, wine country adventure, workshop or retreat, whether for a few days or a week. This option includes two of our guest dwellings at the hacienda: Casa de los Sueños Casita and Corazón Sagrado Suite. These two dwellings are separated by a large Spanish-style courtyard, each with their own entrance. Guests can explore the succulent & cactus gardens, have a meditation session in the bamboo oxygen room, find a spot to practice yoga, play bocce ball or other lawn games. On the estate, our two favorite places for viewing a sunset are the guest courtyard or in the gazebo at the top of the gardens. The hacienda setting is serene and peaceful, so let that be your guide for your group. Each dwelling’s features is described below.
*Casa de los Sueños Casita: King Bed, Sleeps 2 Maximum; Art lovers are sure to recognize the Diego Rivera vibe in this sweet ‘house of dreams.’ Your 650 sq ft one-bedroom casita with ensuite bathroom is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. There’s a fully equipped kitchen (full-size fridge, stove-top, convection/microwave oven, dishwasher) stocked with the basics including plenty of coffee, tea, etc. for your first week with us. Your living area is appointed with sofa, fireplace, flat screen with Direct TV and a surround sound system. You'll find a comfy queen bed with fresh quality linens, SMART TV for streaming your Netflix, Amazon etc. in the bedroom (but no cable), ample bath towels, double basin sinks, toiletries like soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, even a washer and dryer. The Central Coast has very moderate weather year-round, with the exception of a few days per year, but just in case they occur during your visit you can enjoy a nice breeze from the bedroom and living room ceiling fans. The screened French doors open up onto a private deck that overlooks an oak grove where deer, owls and other wildlife are often spotted.
*Corazón Sagrado Suite: Queen Bed, Sleeps 2 Maximum; Adorned with sacred hearts decorated with silver Milagros or charms representing love, healing and gratitude, this suite has a special energy. For us, it evokes fond memories of our trips to Oaxaca, Mexico. Your private suite has its own entrance, opening onto a tranquil courtyard. Feel free to open your screened French doors and be soothed by the sounds of the fountain, wind chimes, and nature. Inside, you'll find a comfy queen bed with fresh quality linens, ensuite bathroom furnished with towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, mini-fridge, and beverage station stocked with coffee, tea, and plenty of filtered drinking water, screened French doors and ceiling fan. Your suite has a Smart TV and WiFi (but no cable) so you can access your own accounts for Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. If you are up for some fun and games, try your hand at cards, backgammon, or mancala that we’ve left for you to enjoy.
SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL: We think it’s important to do what we can to minimize the environmental impacts of tourism. We've tried to be as eco-friendly as possible, both with design and lifestyle, so you will notice shaded terraces and decks that keep the hacienda cool, solar energy, bamboo flooring in kitchen and living room, etc. Here’s some other ways we are striving to lighten our footprint and those of our guests: **Increased our solar panels and now produce about 95% of the energy needed to run our property. **Water conservation with drought resistant, low-water landscape **You will find delicious dark roast coffee waiting for you that comes in plant-based, PLASTIC-FREE coffee pods that are compostable. **Filtered drinking water is available in each unit, so NO Plastic water bottles need to be used during your stay. **Refillable amenity dispensers to reduce use of plastic bottles. **Wool Dryer Balls: reduce drying time and save energy, plus are eco-friendly, reusable, and hypoallergenic. *Remember - California is in a drought, so please help us to minimize water use. TESLA / ELECTRIC VEHICLES: We have an EV charging station, and happy Tesla guests say they get 5 miles per charging hour (Additional fee of $15p/day per vehicle to use charging station. *Please let us know you need the EV station at the time of booking*
Guest access: Guests are free to enjoy multiple outdoor seating areas: under the palapa is great for morning sun, Casa de Los Sueños casita deck is great for privacy, guest communal courtyard is perfect for gathering 4 guests, a semi-private outdoor sitting area outside your Corazón Sagrado suite to catch a lovely sunset, or venture up to the bench on the little hill for sunset viewing with a sliver of ocean. For the guests staying in the Corazón Courtyard Suite, from the driveway follow the path that goes through the gated area into the backyard and courtyard of the main house, where you have a private entrance to your suite. Please be cautious to keep the gate closed and latched to keep the local wildlife out of this area (deer, coyotes). The Corazón room will share the Casa de Los Sueños casita's kitchen, living area, private deck, BBQ and outdoor space (does not include access to the main house in which we reside). There is designated parking for two cars between the main house and the casita. Please let us know if there will be more than two cars.
Other things to note: While close to everything from wineries, beaches, shopping, etc our location is semi-rural. You are surrounded by nature, so expect you might see/hear deer, coyotes, raccoons, possum, and maybe even a distant rooster in the morning.

Hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, fishing, yoga, golfing, Cal Poly Performing Arts (PAC), local music events, food events, wine tasting...Minutes to beaches, hiking trails, factory outlet shopping, Village of Arroyo Grande, downtown San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly, Pismo Beach, and Avila Beach. Within less than 10 miles from 22+ wineries, plus hundreds more in Avila, Paso Robles, Santa Ynez, Santa Barbara.
For Cyclists: lots of trails and back roads to ride, or you could even ride to the wineries. And the casita has a large covered area for stowing your bikes! 1.25 hours to San Simeon to see Elephant seals and Hearst Castle. 1 hour to the Danish village of Solvang; in the summer you can enjoy the outdoor theater. Did you forget something? No problem! CVS is 2 minutes up the road, and Trader Joe's is 5. Special Events you don't want to miss: October-February is Monarch Butterfly Season; June-September: Witness the Humpback whales as they migrate between Mexico and Alaska

Family members have severe allergies and we are surrounded by dry brush, especially with the drought. Please take this into account if you decide to stay with us.

NO SHOES IN OUR HOME - PLEASE REMOVE SHOES at the door (since we feel strongly about this we let guests know in advance; we find slip-on shoes and sandals make this easy).

Every recommendation we tried was great, from wineries nearby, to hiking, to picking blueberries down the road, to all the restaurants they recommended. The Hacienda has a lovely courtyard that we were able to have a small gathering the night before graduation that worked out perfectly! Elise was helpful in providing extra touches to make it very festive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Casita and hope we can return one day to enjoy more of this beautiful area!"

Our ranchita is just minutes off Hwy 101 and walking distance to wine tasting, great restaurants and bars. Perfect for heading into San Luis Obispo/Cal Poly or hitting local wine country.
We have beautiful beaches and lots of great hiking.
We are about 15 minutes to Lopez Lake for fishing or boating. There is also a water slide park and a zip line course.
Antiquing or just window shopping in the Village or any of the surrounding towns.
There are several locations to golf within 20 minutes.
Oceano dunes are 10 minutes away. Rent ATVs or go on an extreme hummer adventure.

We have two very friendly dogs. They do like to guide you up the driveway so please drive slowly but do not stop until you get all the way up to the vacation rental. We also have a cat that roams around.

Our driveway is about 600’ Long. The rental unit is at the top off the driveway off the street. The unit is attached to our garage not to the main house. We have parking right in front of unit. There are no stairs to access the unit.

Room does not have an actual closet. There are a number of hooks and a few drawers. There is also a luggage rack and hangers provided.

There is a microwave, fridge and coffee pot. Not a full kitchen.

Please don’t leave your shoes outside the door.

We are fully compliant with City of Arroyo Grande. They require us to collect 13.5% transit occupancy taxes.

The room is private with its own entrance and own floor with a private bathroom across a shared house entryway. There is a security gate and a dedicated parking space for our airbnb guests.

We are in an upscale quiet private location with nice views.

We have 2 cats but they have no access to the room; they can be obnoxious sometimes.

There is a $100 extra fee for guests who don’t follow provided directions and end up at our neighbor’s house. Otherwise we will have to close our Airbnb.

The space
We worked hard to create a comfortable and relaxed-environment Airbnb room. We hope you enjoy it!

• King bed - memory foam and we receive compliments constantly on how comfortable it is.

• Queen pull-out sofa bed - not even close to as comfortable as the king bed. It is functional for a night or two, but for a longer stay I would not recommend it.

• 50" smart TV with streaming options (no live TV): Netflix, YouTube, Amazon and Plex (with our huge TV & movie library).

• Meal prep: there is a microwave, mini fridge, breakfast table and a Keurig.

• There is also a closet and room to store your luggage under the bed or in the closet.

The bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor which is private. The bathroom is across from the room via the shared entryway. The only use our family has for the first floor is the utility room and our front door.

Guests staying for more than a few days have access to our clothes washer and dryer which are on the second floor (where we live).

Please note, a few “negative” items:

1. The house is hard to find as it is on a long private shared driveway. I send very detailed directions ... PLEASE read them. Our check-in time ends at 9pm. This is not flexible as way too many of our guests late at night end up at our neighbors house because they do not read the directions. Because if this continues we have to shut down our Airbnb, we cannot accommodate late check-ins.

2. Since the room is on the first floor you will hear our cats and our family walking around above you.

3. There is a small shared space between the bedroom and the bathroom ... this is a small hall where we enter the house.

4. The house is old and the (loud) heater warms up the room in the winter more than the rest of the house, so you may need to crack a window if it gets too hot.

We invite you to use our patio that is right outside of the Airbnb room. It includes a table, chairs, a propane fire "pit” and a bocce court.

We're friendly but respect your privacy. We try to meet our guests, but aren’t always here to greet you. We’re available if you need anything during your stay.

The room is bright and cozy for two, with a full-size bed and a small work desk. The bathroom is through the laundry room right outside the bedroom door. It has a door to the backyard with sitting areas for you to enjoy. A privacy door can be closed to the rest of the house.

We are a family of four with two children under 12 years old and a timid but very friendly small dog. The room is private, but with two active kids, this is not always a silent house, and you may hear some pitter-patter from upstairs. If you're looking for your zen place, we cannot guarantee this is it, but please know that we work hard to make our guests’ stay as enjoyable as possible!

Beautiful one bedroom cottage. Cottage is just a 5 minute walk along creek lined walking path into the Village of Arroyo Grande.

The space
Bluebird Cottage is a one bedroom apartment. The space is ideal for two, but three could possibly work. The kitchen is fully set up for cooking. Small fridge and freezer. Dining area set up with a table and chairs for having a great meal or doing some work. The living area has a love seat (makes into a twin bed) and two comfortable easy chairs for relaxing. The bathroom has a nice big soaking tub and after your bath fall fast asleep in the deluxe queen bed. There is also a small balcony off the bedroom for coffee in the morning or to unwind after a long day. Bluebird is ready for anything from a fun filled weekend to a much longer stay. Come fly away!

The space
This Airbnb room shares a wing of the house with one other Airbnb room. The wing is accessed via a private entrance and is separated from the host's space in the house (Note: No full kitchen but there are a microwave and mini fridge in the room).

The loft bed is a twin size, and it is tall, so the overhead space is limited. It is more suited for a kid than for a larger adult, but if an adult would like to sleep up there you're more than welcome. Just a heads up that it is cozy up there! The bottom bed is a full size.

Enjoy sunset views over the fields and hills from the front patio table!

There are a lot of kids that play on the street in our neighborhood, so if you could drive slowly and watch out for children at play that would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Our cottage is a separate unit with its own entrance. We are down a long driveway and it is very private. This is a very spacious guest room with a full bath. I have provided a coffee pot( complete with coffee), and a small refrigerator with drinks and snacks. It is also home to deer, fox, raccoons, bobcats, and occasionally a mountain lion. Don't worry you will be perfectly safe. We have hiking and horseback riding trails. Horse boarding available for an additional fee. We are close to the beach and you can actually ride your horse on the beach in our area. I do not personally offer any trail rides, but can give information of locals that offer rides. It is a very quiet, rural area but minutes to shopping, beach, movies, hiking & biking trails, fishing.

WELCOME to our home! This charming guest home is in the center of Arroyo Grande and less than a 10-minute drive to the best beaches, shopping and wineries that California has to offer. This spacious cottage is a great base to explore all the natural beauty on the Central Coast.

We accept one smaller doggie guest with the understanding that you and your furry loved one will take care of the home like it was your own.

The guest home has a large living space, a separate bedroom and one bathroom. It is approximately 550 sq. feet and will accommodate a max of four guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked and set up for cooking with a full refrigerator, oven and microwave. Dining area set up with a table and chairs for having a great meal or doing some work. The living area has a couch with can be made into a queen bed and a comfortable chair for relaxing. There is also a charming patio for coffee in the morning or to drink wine and relax and unwind after a long day.

The home has its own separate entrance and patio with street parking. We do NOT have a laundry list of things to do upon checkout. We just ask that you turn off the heat/AC, turn on the dishwasher, lock the front door and drive safely home!

The unit does have a shared wall with the main home and we have taken steps to minimize sounds, however you may occasionally hear us moving around. This home is located in a nice, residential neighborhood so we ask that you be respectful of the area and the neighbors. We have excellent, reliable, unshared Wi-Fi that you can access.

ONE BEDROOM:

There is ONE large bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. There is a dresser, mirrors, and reading lamps. This also has an entrance to the patio so you can walk outside and enjoy your morning coffee. The ottoman and couch also turn into beds for extra guests or kiddos!

ONE BATHROOM:

The bathroom has a great shower and bathtub with good water pressure. We do have a blow dryer and a full set of towels for your use as well as a shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The medicine cabinet is also fully stocked with incidentals in case you forgot any necessities like a sleeping mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, etc.

LIVING AREA:

The living area has a comfy couch, an extra chair, and a Smart TV with ROKU, Peacock, Hulu and Netflix. The couch is also a pull out with a comfy mattress and the ottoman also pulls out to a single bed.

KITCHEN

We have a full kitchen with all the items you would require to cook your favorite meal, if you so choose. It is a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, stove, microwave, blender, and wine opener to enjoy any bottles you may have purchased on your adventures.

Hummingbird Cottage has street parking and a private staircase to the front door. You will have to climb stairs to access the property.

We are always available by phone or text if you have any questions or need something. We are more than happy to give you advice about how to enjoy your time on the Central Coast. We will follow your lead on how much interaction you would like to have with us.

Your children are welcome as guests, please just be aware that this home is NOT baby/child proofed. Also, you will be required to climb stairs to access the unit. This unit also shares one wall with the main home but we have taken a number of measures to provide you complete privacy on your vacation.

Yes, our home is PET FRIENDLY! If you are traveling with one well-trained, socialized smaller to medium sized dog, we'd be happy to host your dog as well. Tell me in advance if you are planning to bring a furry friend. I would like to know a few details about your dog before booking. (such as size, breed) Just be aware that the patio area does NOT have a grass area, but you are within a 15-minute walk to Rancho Grande Park that your dog will be sure to love. There are many dog friendly beaches, hikes and restaurants in our area and we can also direct you to all of those. We also ask that you do not allow your pet on the furniture or beds.

If you would like beach chairs or a beach umbrella for your stay, please let me know and I will have them available.

There is a strict NO parties, events or social gatherings rule. Violation of this expectation may result in immediate cancellation by Airbnb with no refund. Thank you for your cooperation.

**Property Access:**

Access from the road is through a latched gate at the corner front of the lot, across the driveway. Follow the rock walkway directly to the unit. Enjoy the entire front yard at your leisure, including the BBQ and fire pit. The backyard is off-limits. Enter and exit through the latched gate with the rock walkway. Your private entrance features a secure coded door lock for added convenience and security.

Great location! We are 4 miles to the beach and central to local wineries and breweries. You can literally walk to the village of Arroyo Grande. We allow pets--however, no pets July 4th or New Years Eve weekends due to local fireworks. Please contact us first if you have a furry friend. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom. Extra guests will need to walk through bedroom for use.

The space
This apartment is on the lower level of a three story Victorian house. It has its own private entrance. Pets are allowed, however please contact Anny in advance to make sure your pet is right for this place. We have a sweet Aussie/Border Collie and a small Schnauzer/Poodle puppy. If the dogs get along they can play all day together, otherwise there are separate spaces for the dogs.

The sofa bed couch has a slip cover. To access the sofa bed you need to unzip the slip cover to find the mechanism to pull out the bed.

Since it is on the lower level there is some noise that travels. We try to be quiet during rest times, but you may hear some sounds. Husband also leaves early mornings during work week and you may hear garage door.

Guest access
There is a ping pong table in the art studio. If you want to use the ping pong table please let me know so I can set it up for you. Table cannot be used when I have art classes. You can also use the barbecue on the upstairs deck. Just let us know in case we are using it too. Flat has beach towels, beach bag and a washer and dryer. We have a friendly Border Collie/ Aussie mix and a sweet, small Schnauzer/Poo, however we must be home to introduce your furry friends if they are staying in same enclosure. Otherwise dogs must be separated (we have two areas). We also have a small cooler, boogie board and Wave surfboard that you can borrow if you let us know in advance.

Other things to note
PET RULES: PLEASE READ! If you are bringing a dog, the dog must be with you when you go on excursions. If you plan to leave the dog at the house (while dining or on short outings where dogs are not permitted) it must either be in a kennel inside the apartment or outside in the small enclosure (not large yard unless our dogs get along). We do have several kennels, small to xxl) we just ask that you provide the pet’s bedding. This is a small neighborhood and we want to keep the neighbors happy. Please do not bring a dog that barks all the time. We do not allow pets on furniture. If your furry friend loves to be on the couch, please bring a sheet or ask us for an extra. We also ask that you use the pet hair roller to get excess hair off furniture and sweep up any excess hair. We offer the pet policy so people who can't part with their pet have the option to bring their pet. Please abide by rules so that we keep this option for other pet owners. Any extra cleaning due to pet hair on furniture may be charged due to excess cleaning. Thanks!!

Please - no animals! Cleaner is highly allergic to animal hair, dander, saliva & urine.

The space

* Three nights is the maximum time guests can stay.

*Please check the list of amenities offered here against what items you want to have available. There is no TV (let's take a break from that noise!) here. You can still stay in touch with the world via the WiFi, your phone, laptop, etc.

*The master bedroom suite features a queen-size bed with a Serta memory foam topper, a private bathroom with shower, two comfortable reading chairs, an antique hutch/desk that can service as a work space - all in a peaceful garden setting for your get-away-from-home. A mini fridge and microwave are set up on your patio for use.

* I live in this house. I do my best to not make any unnecessary noise so that I don't bother you. You may not realize that walls in residential houses are not as soundproof as in commercial hotel/motel/apartment buildings and don't completely muffle loud noises.

*WiFi - enter password in all lower case letters. Download speed = 67.00 mbps, upload speed = 5.65 mbps.

*Added for your comfort: ASTI Sound of Sleep machine - something new to try in case you find it hard to fall asleep in a new setting; a "fireplace" heater that can make it toasty in those few cold months - or set it to "virtual flame" only for a cosy evening by the "fire" - please read the information card before using it.

*NOT 420 friendly! NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THIS PROPERTY. That includes marijuana (medical or otherwise), dabbing, tobacco, vaping, e-cigarettes, pipes, cigars, etc. You will be asked to leave if you fail to abide by this prohibition. No refund will be given.

This is a rural area with many native animals wandering through: possums, raccoons, skunks, foxes, coyotes, deer, rodents, hawks, owls, etc. Please do not leave food items unsecured outside of the house that may interest critters into coming closer. If arriving after dark, walk slowly and talk/sing to give any nearby animals time to run off and avoid contact with you.

Guest access
*Your access is only to the master bedroom and bath suite. You do NOT have access to the rest of the house - there are no "shared areas" besides the garden. Please note you do not have access to the rest of the house. There are no kitchen/laundry privileges. There is a microwave and mini fridge on the patio outside your door.

*You have the run of the garden! You have your own private porch with a small table and chairs for sheltered chats, or go on out to the redwood deck under the shady peppermint willow tree or over a bit further back in the garden to catch some sun. You'll find little nooks with seating here and there in the garden.

Sorry, but guests (maximum of two adults) booked here may not bring in their own guests or visitors (no family or friends, nor strangers).

Other things to note
* Please note this space is not suitable for children. Gardens have plants that can be toxic and people with allergies to bees risk exposure to them in the garden. No animals are allowed as my cleaner is highly allergic to animal hair, dander, saliva and urine.

* The neighborhood is near farmland, fields and undeveloped areas - the wildlife from there does turn up in my yard from time to time: raccoons, coyotes, possums, skunks, weasels, hawks, etc (no bears, mtn lions, or deer so far!). Even neighborhood cats want to see what's in my garden. So, please do not leave any food outside on the porch, deck, etc that might attract such visitors.

* Please do not arrive early for check-in. Do not ask for an early check-in or a late check-out, as the extra cleaning and "airing out" time necessitated by the current pandemic will not allow for it.

* No illegal drugs, or drug or alcohol abuse, or underage drinking anywhere on the property.

* I reserve the right to unhappily enter the room to turn off water, fans, lights or other resources that you may have left running when you left the property during your stay.

* White towels! Please use the make-up removal cloths provided for you, or the black washcloths if you prefer.

* Please do not dye or tint your hair here. It leaves stains.

* Also note that some facial creams will ruin pillowcases and sheets - can you go a night without them and spare my bedding? Thanks!

* Cameras monitor the exterior front of my home and driveway. They are used for security and to verify guests.

This very comfortable room in our Saloon Style Bunkhouse has a comfortable masculine décor, with red leather chairs and a wine barrel topped side table. The queen size murphy bed can convert to a daytime work-space if needed. Have your coffee in the morning on your private deck in back or gaze at the sunset over our expansive lawn and gazebo from the front shared porch in the afternoon.

This is a great experience in a vintage trailer and we are here to help make your stay even better! The inside has been redone but also stayed true to its original pieces, offers great amenities to make your stay more cozy, and basic tools to cook meals at home. It’s the perfect set up for first timers and seasoned glampers!

You will hear the sounds of wildlife at night and have views of the night sky. We live close to town for convenience but far enough to see the stars with no street lights.

We love dogs (and other pets) so we are happy to host! We know it’s difficult finding places that accept our fury family members.
