It is located in a quiet neighborhood near restaurants and a local grocery store for your convenience. A two car garage is also available. Morro Bay has many activities to offer: wine tasting, kayaking, paddle boarding, whale watching, surfing, museums, brunch and dinner cruising, golf, tennis, hiking and more. It is the perfect coastal get away and a short drive to the surrounding coastal towns of Pismo, Cayucos and Avila Beach. To make your stay more enjoyable we offer boogie boards, beach cruiser bicycles, and Adirondack chairs for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine from our local wineries. After a busy day at the beach, come home to enjoy board games or Netflix, movies, etc.

The location was very convenient to both Los Osos and Cuyucos. I loved that it was so close to Taco Temple (try their tacos!) and Spencer's Market. The house was perfectly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I was particularly impressed by how welcoming the host made the house by providing so many extras - videos, games, + tea, coffee, hand and dish soap, etc. All the things you'd prefer not to have to buy when you are staying for only a few days. It was nice to have a driveway (and garage if needed) to easily park our car. One family member rented a place in downtown Cuyucos, and while nice, we preferred the peace and quiet of this nice neighborhood. We would stay here again."

Enjoy a relaxing, carefree vacation. Our remodeled two-story home features a spacious great room, which includes a chef’s kitchen, dining area and living room. The living room is furnished with a 6 foot couch and a 42 inch LCD TV with a Blu-Ray player. Hardwood floors and multiple, expansive windows embellish the sense of space in the great room.

The kitchen has been upgraded with granite counter tops, Bosch dishwasher, new stove/cooktop, refurbished cabinets, and a new kitchen island. The highlight of the great room is an attached sunroom/patio, which has great views of Morro Strand, the water, Morro Rock over the rooftops, and the famous Morro Bay sunsets. This is a perfect place to sit back and enjoy the evening.

There are two bedrooms, plus a bonus room which doubles as a third bedroom. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in the 2nd bedroom. In addition, there is a daybed + trundle bed in the bonus room. The downstairs Master bedroom is very spacious.

Photographs of local attractions (Montana de Oro, Morro Strand, Morro Bay State Park, Paso Robles Wineries, Cayucos, the Tolosa Mission, and Harmony) decorate the walls, and provide ideas for places to visit. The beach is about a 10 minute walk, and there are several restaurants within walking distance of the house (Surfside Pizza, Lolo’s, and Taco Temple). There is also a wonderful dog park within walking distance.

Our house includes two single car garages, one is available to guests. There is also additional off-street parking if you have two vehicles. A washer and dryer are available for use, and located in the garage. There is also a wrap-around, fenced yard, which offers privacy and security.

We have included all of our favorite amenities in the house, including coffee makers, Chef’s knives, WIFI, Weber kettle style Bar-B-Q, and a Weber gas grill. Try several different styles of coffee in the Keurig coffee maker. The house is the perfect launch point for adventures in the wine country, great beaches, and local points of interest, including Hearst Castle, Monterey, Montana de Oro, and the Morro Bay Embarcadero.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, the guest room has a queen size bed, and then there is a roll-a-way twin bed with a brand new memory foam mattress. There is a full size kitchen with includes all of the amenities needed for cooking most any meal. Parking is free and off the street in the driveway. We have cable tv, and high speed internet wifi.

Come and stay for a month or a couple of days! Our newly constructed private contemporary studio is across the street from the beach with a small living area, room for dining, kitchen and comfortable sleeping space. It is a perfect place to shelter in as it completely separate and private just for you!

It has vaulted ceilings with an open feel. In the living room it has a sofa sleeper and seating around the 55 inch flat-screen television and gas burning fireplace.

The kitchen, with its beautiful granite counters, is open to both the dining area and living room. It has custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances.

The bedroom is furnished with a brand new California King bed. You also have access to the owners hot tub and roof deck with a gas fire pit where you can relax and view the ocean and at times see whales and dolphins!

PET POLICY:
- Only dogs are allowed in our pet-friendly properties.
- Each dog will need to have current flea and tick treatment (such as Frontline) to limit the chance of bringing fleas into the house.
- We strongly recommend that you do not take your dogs on hikes in Montana de Oro or other hiking trails in the area due to the prevalence of ticks around here! Please be vigilant about checking your dog(s) for ticks during your stay.
- All dog waste on and off the rental property must be picked up and disposed of in the grey trash can.
- If you decide to allow your dog(s) to swim in the ocean you agree to have your dog(s) washed and dried before allowing your dog(s) to join you in the home. Extra cleaning and deodorizing of the house due to a "WET DOG" smell will be charged to the guest.
- The dog or dogs shall not be left outside without any of the guests being home, and shall not be permitted to bark uncontrolled at dogs in the neighborhood or passing by.
- If the dogs are left inside the home without the owners being present, this shall be for occasional short durations of time. During these periods, the dog(s) must be enclosed in their respective kennel or crate. This will avoid possible damage to the home. If dogs need to be left for a full day, an off-site dog-sitting service shall be utilized, or one of the guests shall stay at the house with the dog(s).
- We request that you do not allow your dog(s) on the furniture or beds. However, if this is your practice, PLEASE BRING OLD TOWELS OR BLANKETS TO COVER THE FURNITURE OR BED LINENS.
- As a condition of allowing your dog to vacation with you at this home, you agree to extra charges that may be incurred for extra cleaning or damage caused by your dog beyond the $250 pet fee. Damage or extra cleaning charges are not covered by the Property Protection Plan if applicable.

This location is only a 3 minute car drive to Morro Strand Beach with a gorgeous close -up view of the Morro Bay Rock and 6 miles of surfing & beach combing between Morro Bay and Cayucos. It is only 5 minutes from downtown Morro Bay, 2 minutes to our favorite grocery store, the infamous Taco Temple Restaurant and Thursday Farmer's market, 8 minutes to the quaint town of Cayucos, 15 minutes to SLO town, and 15 minute to Montana de Oro State Park.

The space
My hope is that your experience will be like a retreat in nature. The ocean breezes and scents . . and the song of the Dove’s cooing. Come back to a space you can easily meditate, lounge around in a plush spa robe, or open a bottle of wine/beer chilling in the mini fridge. Other options included; BBQ on the patio, taking my kayaks out on the bay to immerse yourself in nature completely. Take the bikes on a ride to the Embarcadero to view the sea otters, or surf at the Rock (best surf in the area). Really great road trips/adventures can start here too - to go north to see the Elephant Seals, to Big Sur, to Hearst Castle, San Simeon Cove, (so many small beaches along the way to explore and collect driftwood, shells and stones), Cayucos Pier, Whale Rock Reservoir, and the many wineries in Paso Robles (still open for viewing, orders, not tasting). To venture south on a day trip could include; Pismo Preserve ( a new hiking trail with awesome ocean views), Shell Beach (best substation brunch at The Cliffs), Avila Beach/cove, San Luis Obispo Edna Valley, Monarch Butterfly Grove in Pismo, Oceano Dunes where you can drive on the beach, and Lopez Lake in Arroyo Grande for fishing, boating and hiking.

This space is small (11 x 26 ft) which is why I named it a cabin. (11'x15' is the bedroom and living space combined.) There is no space for a third person to sleep on the floor.

Conveniences:
There is a single cup coffee maker (Keurig) with coffee, an electric kettle and tea, mugs, dishes, plenty of silverware and drinking glasses for two. A microwave oven and a small refrigerator with a tiny freezer. A filtered water pitcher. A BBQ and a large patio space in the garden to sit and relax; that is a shared space, rarely used. Parking right outside your door.

Have fun with decorative lights for ambiance.

You have some quiet yard space of your own to sit outside: A a real oyster shell beach at your doorstep, A single hammock in your own private yard. A double hammock in nearby yard (shared not private). We have plenty of hummingbirds and doves to enchant you!

I have two kayaks you can use located onshore along side the bay ( a quick ten minute drive). (Small fee and signed waiver needed.) You can literally pull the kayaks into the Bay just a few steps away.

I also have two beach cruiser bikes you can use! They’re grab and go! Message me to put them out for you.

DOG RULES, PLEASE READ:
Dogs are limited to one per visit, and should not be left in the cabin alone - ever. Please bring a crate if possible. If not, please use sheets provided for any dog use/furniture. You are responsible for garden pick up and will be charged $50 for neglecting this rule. Any stains left will be reported to Airbnb and reembursement for blankets/towels/comforters/bed sheets/rugs will be enforced. If there is excessive barking, you may be asked to quiet your dog or purchase a bark collar. Lastly, my big guy cat, Jasper and miniature Tabby, India, rule the kingdom here so please have them leashed at all times in between car and cabin and using the garden/patio.

Lounge on the two outdoor couches. Enjoy a meal/BBQ, or a nap in the hammock. The trees and succulent jungle light up at night so you can enjoy your evening outside if you like.

Your fully private suite has a king bedroom, breakfast room, bathroom, and a covered patio with a fire pit.

Enjoy kayaking, beach walks, pickle ball, golf, whale watching or wine tasting, and return to watch the indigo night sky while sitting by a warm fire on the patio.

The space
The entry level guest suite has a concrete driveway, a patio, interior laminate flooring, and comfortable furnishings. There is a king bed, armchairs, mid-size refrigerator and smart TV. Beach access and ocean views are only a few blocks away, and the Morro Bay harbor with its iconic rock is a little over two miles away.

The guest suite has a side door entrance through a private patio for your use while you’re visiting. The guest suite includes a bedroom, a private bathroom, and a breakfast room, all of which are located in a fully private hallway behind a door. The bedroom has a Cal King bed, end tables with reading lamps, luggage racks, a closet with hangers, a spacious dresser with empty drawers, and extra blankets on the closet shelves. The breakfast room has a smart TV, a mid-sized refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, coffee, electric hot water kettle, pour over coffee cone and filters, toaster, snacks, dishes and silverware, and beach towels. I keep a Brita pitcher inside the refrigerator with filtered water.

The cozy private covered patio includes a fire pit, two comfy chairs, and warm blankets… perfect for chilly mornings or evenings. The patio is an awesome place to start your day with a cup of coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail before dinner. If you love surfing, this is the place for you! You can walk to Morro Strand beach, which you can find on the Surfline app, in five minutes. Surfers wear wetsuits here as the water is cold! Please keep all wetsuits, boards and any other outdoor gear such as bicycles outside on the patio. In addition to my other house rules, I specifically ask that you not smoke anywhere on the property. I am extremely sensitive to smoke, and it will drift up to my deck from the patio. Thank you and enjoy your stay!

Guest access
You will have full access to the private guest suite previously described as well as the covered patio with firepit. You'll be given a key to the side door so you may come and go freely using that entrance. I live upstairs and the front foyer is a shared space, so you may see me in that area as you are entering or leaving the suite. Please feel free to ask questions at any time! Instructions for turning on the propane fire pit are on a sign hanging on the patio but I’m also glad to help.

Other things to note
This suite is not safe or suitable for infants or children under age 12. I also received an exemption for assistance animals. I have my own dog in the house, who may not accept sharing his house with another animal.

My prices are mostly set by Airbnb and reflect market rates, but I often make adjustments which are reflected in the prices you see. Beyond that, I do not offer discounts. If you wish to negotiate, you may find another Airbnb or hotel is a better fit for you. My rates are much lower during off-season if that helps.

Quiet location, right off famous Highway One. ... This space has LOTS of relaxing space; the whole first floor of my home is yours and private. Huge bedroom plus a sitting room - two rooms. Great location, you can walk to a beautiful beach in ten minutes from here. Convenient start to day road trips. Nearby restaurants to walk to after driving all day long. Quiet hours ensures a peaceful stay as this is my home. People book one night and don't want to leave! Kayaks and beach bikes available.

The space
Relaxing space. People say it has "great energy." It's a very comfortable, private accommodation with a separate entrance. A ten minute walk to the beach. While not downtown, it's an easy walk down the street to North Morro Bay's Lolo's Mexican restaurant, famous Taco Temple, or Surfside Pizza. Blocks away from Spencers and farmers market (Thursdays) too. You will have the whole downstairs to yourselves - plenty of space! The bedroom is large enough to hang out and enjoy the morning sunshine. And the sitting room is large also. The neighborhood is VERY safe and quiet. (You can park on the right side of my driveway if you’d like.) since it is my home, you might hear some noise occasionally upstairs but no more than a hotel room.

I have two kayaks and two beach cruiser bikes - all available for your use (with a signed waiver). Kayaks for an additional fee: $25/pair all day. I also have a small refrigerator/freezer in your space to store your snacks, drinks and restaurant left overs. There is a filtered water pitcher as well. A Microwave, a toaster, a Keurig single cupcoffee maker and an electric tea kettle are present. Silverware, plates, bowls, cups, glassware and mugs are for your use. Salt and pepper, sugar and cream with a couple of breakfast bars also included along with tea and coffee. There are two large bookcases full of books (self-help, spirituality, fictional novels, autobiographies and psychology).

Guests are loving my binder of suggestions for local sight seeing and restaurants. These tips include local favorites and "off the beaten track" areas to hike, walk and visit the beach.

Enjoy soft sheets, a heated bathroom light and a portable heater. Outside, enjoy the hammock, outdoor furniture on the patio, and BBQ.

You should know that I live upstairs on the second floor. Some noise is present when we are home.
PLEASE NOTE: Quiet hours in the sitting room are between 10 pm and 7 am. No TV (super low volume is ok) or hanging out conversing in the sitting room after 10 pm. Otherwise I can’t sleep, as my bedroom is directly overhead. The bedroom is a big space with a chair and with the door closed it is completely private and so it's a better option if you want to hang out and use your lap top for watching movies. Night owl types will not be a good fit for us.

This home is a duplex. Pelican Place is the downstairs unit. Both units have a separated private entry. Both units are private and peaceful. The proximity to the harbor, beach, bars, restaurants, shops, and downtown is what makes this home special. Also it is very convenient to locate and has a nice quiet neighborhood. It is also newly renovated. The kitchen is full sized and fully supplied. The first bed is a comfortable queen size bed in the bedroom. The bathroom is attached to the bedroom. The second bed is a single fold away bed which can be set up in the living room. There is a couch in the living room which can also act as a bed if it is preferred over the fold away single bed. There are two beds available.
There is a strict policy of 3 maximum number of guests allowed. Please note that this house is available for lodging only. Gatherings that exceed the maximum occupancy of this home is prohibited.
The driveway is available for parking free of charge. It is also safe and convenient to park on the street.

FAST WIFI - ASTOUND 1.5 GIG! You have the downstairs ADU unit of this big, outstanding house on the hill. It has a separate entrance, and a private bathroom. You don't have to share any spaces with the host, and there are no other guests!

There is one bedroom and a bathroom. The space has a living room/kitchen open concept, and a separate bedroom with queen bed and large TV. The kitchen includes a full sized fridge, a sink, a gas range with oven, a small charcoal grill, a microwave and a coffee maker, plates, cutlery & utensils. Dine in the house, or at a table on your patio.

While minimum stay is 30 nights, from APRIL to SEPT we prioritize 3 month and longer booking requests. NO PETS PERMITTED.

The sofa is not a convertible to a bed, so not good for sleeping overnight.

At the house, you have total privacy, and access to your private ADU unit by exterior deck stairs. You have a small deck patio to enjoy with a view of the Rock, and I will not come into your space. There is very little interaction between guest and host as I am usually away traveling. When I am in town, I will not come down and disturb you, nor will anyone else! I love my guests but thanks for not asking to come into my unit or into my private side yard, as well! : ) Host & guest often do not even meet. I give you total privacy, and we each do our own thing : ) NO PETS ALLOWED.

Morro Bay is one of California’s great Central Coast communities The area has become famous for its beautiful state parks, bird estuaries, and the distinct Morro Rock. Tourists and locals both enjoy a variety of activities in the area, including fishing, surfing, kayaking, golfing, bird watching, beachcombing, or just relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Besides the nature and recreation of Estero Bay, there are also fine restaurants and unique shops. Morro Bay, the largest of the three cities, is at the heart of Estero Bay. Morro Rock, the last in a chain of long-extinct volcanoes, covers over 50 acres at its base and towers 576 feet above the entrance to Morro Bay. The waters that make up the bay are contained within a three-mile sandpit and the shores of Morro Bay and Los Osos. The local fishing industry is one of the most important along the California Coast. On the Embarcadero, you can shop, walk to Tidelands Park and play on the pirate ship, or simply sit and watch as the boats make their way to sea.

Please remember you are staying in a person's home, not a hotel. We ask that you treat the space with respect, just as previous guests have. Look over the "House Rules" provided to you and abide by them. Relax & Enjoy!
-If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but please note nobody is living on-site 24-7. For nonemergency issues, we do not send maintenance to the property during your stay, only after you depart.
-All guests must be 25+ except for children with parents.
-No late checkout. If you depart late there will be a $50 fee per event since we may have cleaners coming right away for our next guests.
-We provide a start of supplies like toilet paper etc. You may need to buy more if you're booking an extended stay.
-No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of God/other things that are beyond our control.

Just a few blocks to the picturesque Morro Bay Embarcadero, beach, and town, this new one bdrm casita is your sanctuary away from a hectic world. Brand new, with eclectic art, furnishings and decor, it features a spacious bath, California closet, equipped kitchen, and private patio.

This ADU, with its own private yard with entrance to the casita through wide French doors, has an inviting, spacious kitchen/living area. The bedroom has ensuite bath and w/d closet. Coastal living at its finest!

The space
This separate Casita is at the back of a residential home, with separate entrance, separate yard; completely detached from the main house (with a garage in between.). The patio has a nice outdoor seating area, gas bbq grill, and even a herb garden. Surrounded by succulents, it's a quiet area just off the casita French doors.

The open living/dining area features a comfortable couch, accent chair and coffee table. The dining area has a stainless work table with stools. The kitchen has numerous cabinets and storage space as well as apt sized appliances. All new, the area is a work of art with pops of color and unique art pieces. The stools are even made of skateboards!

The living area ties into the bedroom/bath with a opaque glass barn door. The queen sized bed has a new foam mattress, reading lights, dresser, California closet with lots of space, and smart TV. The ensuite bath features a shower, vanity, commode and lots of storage for your bath necessities. The bedroom also has a full size W/D closet.

At about 500 sq feet, this unique Casita packs a big punch. Spacious, with expert use of space, it is bright and inviting. All new construction, it really is stunning.

* The property is not beachfront as Airbnb indicates. It is a few blocks to Tidelands Park (marina) and a 15-20 minute walk to The Rock & Morro Rock Beach.

Guest access
Guests have access to separate Casita with own entrance and private patio. There's a parking space available at the lower parking area, and potential guest parking (with permission). The Casita patio abuts the main house yard, but there is a fence with locked gate, so no interaction. There may be a non-barking dog in the main house yard, separated by fence.

Other things to note
As the Casita backs to the main house yard and garage, we are looking for someone respectful of the space who adheres to the quiet time policy (9pm-8am).
No smoking (inside and anywhere on the property)

The space
This studio is partially attached to main house but feels very private and quiet. It offers a 40" Smart TV, to access all types of entertainment and movies. It has a full kitchen, and offers a small bathroom with a shower. Use of shared washer and dryer in the garage with easy access through the studios back door that leads into the garbage. Parking is readily available on Juniper Street. We provide two beach chairs and beach towels for you, and two Boogie boards. There is also a water purifier in the shower, and air purifier/filter that is replaced every 4 to 6 months. All cotton, linen or flannel bedding and sheets, with fragrance free detergents used. All non-toxic, Earth and people friendly cleaning products used. There is a speaker for your iphone for music etc, and upgraded Wifi for the best connection.

The Morro Bay area offers so many outdoor activities – biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, exploring the ocean tide pools and much more. And if you are a connoisseur of wine, you don’t want to miss wine tasting in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine regions. Be sure to check the local publications or websites so you can participate in a few of the many festivals and special events that happen in the area. Once you vacation here, you will want to come back!

To help keep cleaning fees reasonable and prepare the home for the next guest, we ask that you complete a few basic tasks before departure. If these tasks are not completed, a fee of up to $200 may be added to your reservation.

In general, you are required to leave the home in a reasonable and tidy manor, excessively dirty homes could result in an additional charge.

Load and start the dishwasher (and hand wash any remaining dishes)
Take out all trash and place it in the designated outdoor bins
Turn off lights, appliances, and thermostats
Lock all doors and windows
Return any provided keys as instructed

Allowing entry of a pet into a non-pet friendly home will result in a $500.00 special Cleaning Fee.
Smoking in or allowing smoke odors to enter any of our homes will result in a $500.00 Cleaning Fee.
By booking this stay, you acknowledge these tasks are required. If they are not completed, an additional cleaning fee may apply. Homes left in poor condition or without completing the required checkout tasks may also result in your guest profile being flagged, added to our “Do Not Rent” list, or restricted from booking any of our managed homes offered by any of our rental companies.
