The place is is airy & clean, looks like is may also be used as an office or commercial space by the looks of the exit signs and bathroom signage. Comfortable, clean and easy to self check in. The only downside is the lack of insulation/ sound proofing between the upstairs unit and this unit. Unfortunately every footstep upstairs is amplified and is alarming when you first hear it. I don’t think they were making extra noise, I think is was normal walking around. Possibly carpeting upstairs would help I don’t know. "

Newly renovated in 2015, we took the beach house from the 50's and brought it into the new century. Torn down to studs, everything is brand new with all of the great upgrades including quartzite counter-tops, all new appliances, new cabinets throughout, solid wood doors, cool flooring, awesome lighting fixtures, ETC.
My favorite place is the large covered deck overlooking the ocean. You can hear the sounds, smell the mist and enjoy the views of this one of a kind California Cove called Avila Beach. If you have been here before, you will not believe the transformation. Super clean and comfortable for up to 6 people.
We are only a few blocks from all of the Avila downtown action, yet we are still out of the crowds and commotion. Great for relaxing when you want to chill at the house, but still only a short walk to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and ice cream shops.
We offer three off-street parking spots which is critical on most every weekend.
From the downstairs master bedroom there is a courtyard under the ocean side deck, ideal for relaxing and taking in a good read.

- "Great location and great use of kitchen. We cooked many of our meals there as it was such a big kitchen to cook in. The hosts provided everything from cooking oil to seasonings. The beds were comfy and hearing the waves at night was just fabulous. The only downside was the laundry machine... seems old and rusty but that might be due to the hard-water that is prevalent for the area (we just didn't use the laundry machine as we were there under a week so saved laundry for home)... a water softener might help as we also have hard water and it is a doozie on appliances and hardware. The sofa and chairs might need an update as the leather seemed to be rubbed off or cracked. It is a great location where we could go into San Luis Obispo one day and Hearst Castle another day. We also enjoyed the beach walks and the cute stores around town... easily walked into town to get treats or food from the various restaurants. We love Avila beach and thank our hosts for being so considerate on providing such essentials for cooking as a family❤️❤️❤️"

Enjoy amazing views of the beach, white water, and pier from this darling early 1900's cottage. Newly renovated with great attention to detail, you will love relaxing in our home away from home. Every inch of the cottage was remodeled with state of the art appliances, views from the entire main living area & kitchen, and a large bathroom with pedestal sink & a charming claw foot tub/shower combo. Plenty of off street parking, a large deck on which you may take in the views and a patio with fire pit allow you to live comfortably inside and out. With the beach only a half block away, it's literally your backyard! The house is 100 ft from the beach!

Recently remodeled, Summer Delight is a favorite couples retreat. Located in the heart of Avila Beach, the apartment/condo hosts breathtaking BIG Avila Beach ocean and downtown views from the deck, living and master bedroom.
The beach house is located on the second level. Summer Delight has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a tub/shower combination, in unit washer/dryer and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen has been recently been remodeled. The furnishings, linens are new and of high quality. There is a natural gas Bbq on the deck. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking and serving dishes for a long stay at the beach.

Parking took us a minute to find, only because the driveway is around the corner from the street the unit is actually on, but once we figured it out it was super simple. This 2-bedroom, 2-bath vacation home offers a spacious layout with two separate living areas, perfect for families, couples traveling together, or guests seeking a bit of privacy. Upstairs: You'll find the main living room, kitchen, dining, one bedroom, and one full bathroom.
Downstairs: The second bedroom, second full bathroom with walk in closet, and an additional living room are located on the lower level, accessible via an exterior staircase. To reach this lower-level suite, guests exit the main level from the back deck and walk down a short flight of outdoor stairs to enter through a separate private door. Please note: The two levels are not connected internally—each has its own private entrance. Between the upstairs and downstairs, this home can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests total.

We are so excited to have you staying in our home. This has been in our family for three generations and now going onto a fourth. While our home has been updated, we tried to keep the unique built-in finishes, but add a new fresh function to everything. We hope you enjoy a bit of classic Avila Beach, California with a little updated vibe.

Wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach fun, excellent restaurants and coffee shops are all within just minutes of walking. A great park for kids with an adjoining basketball court is also close. The fall is a great time to visit for apple picking and tasting.
Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are very doable, and will expose you to some of California's most stunning cliffs and secret beaches. Morro Bay, Cambria and San Simeon (where the elephant seals live) are all fun to explore.
Kayaking in Shell Beach is a thrill as you paddle through caves and along the cliffs. Or, you may want to hike up Bishop's Peak or go whale watching, or deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay or San Luis Bay (near Avila Beach). Several public golf courses are nearby.
Or, you may want to just grab the beach chairs, towels and umbrella and walk down to the beach and read a good book. The options are really endless.

This Isolated, cozy 400 sq.ft. studio on stilts has a queen bed in the bedroom, a small bathroom, a couch that pulls out to a twin bed in the living room. High-speed internet with WiFi, Roku-TV streaming, sm. fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric skillet, coffee + tea pots, private deck, and covered parking. This space resides beneath large Oaks, near a creek and golf course.
A 2-night minimum on Friday to Sunday am and a 1-night minimum on Sunday to Friday am.
The space
This has been a local favorite studio ("The Tree House") in the oaks for our family and friends for many years. Walk four blocks to the beach and partake in the Friday Night Fisherman and Farmer's Market (4 to 8 pm, April through September) for plenty of food, happy taverns, wine tasting, entertainment, and dancing at the beach. Private deck and secure covered carport parking. The main bedroom has a queen bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. The entrance room has a single bed/sitting spot and a TV with a privacy curtain between the two rooms. The bathroom is small, especially the shower, but larger than an RV bathroom. Close by great restaurants, happy taverns, and wine tasting, the best beach on the coast, active marine life (sea otters, harbor seals, and sea lions) up close and personal, with several scenic hiking/walking trails at all levels of difficulty nearby. The host will have suggestions with hand-drawn maps for great things to do and visit from Monterey to Santa Barbara that only locals know about if interested. There are 34 stairs to climb. We also have our home, "Mid-Century Design close to downtown" in San Luis Obispo with Airbnb and our new listing "Avila Beach amongst the oaks, Ocean 5-minute walk". The creek is across a street which on weekends can be busy with traffic. The Treehouse is on a steep slope with a Tri-plex above that includes another Airbnb rental and a duplex below with very minimal interaction with the tenants.

You will be given a key and a showing of the Tree House upon arrival. You will just need to leave the key on the table and turn off all electricity when you depart. There are 34 stairs to climb at the private entrance which are well lighted with motion sensors at night. The way to the beach is along Avila Beach Dr. which can be busy especially during the summer or across the creek along the golf course. Relax on your private deck under the Live Oaks.
Other things to note
Rent kayak/paddle board at the third pier along with zodiac and sailing tours of the Bay which include whale watching. Visit Port San Luis Lighthouse, especially by kayak, and take advantage of what our neat beach town has to offer plus maybe a round of golf and watch the abundant seals, sea otters, and sea lions up close and personable at the Port San Luis pier, walk the Bob Jones Trail and along the long beach front. Again, this is an official SLO County vacation rental (6003730) and the Transient Occupancy & Tourist Bureau Taxes (13.5%) will be collected by Airbnb and passed onto the County but we have compensated you by reducing our base price. So no change in the total price.

Nestled at the end of the Avila resort property, adjacent the Bob Jones Trail and San Luis Obispo Creek that leads to Avila Beach Drive and downtown Avila Beach. Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort & Spa is just up the road on Avila Beach Drive.

This is truly a hidden gem! It is equipped with most of what you need to make your stay comfortable. The unit has its own parking & area feels super safe. I love the high ceilings and skylights. If you are sensitive to light and noise it might take some getting used to. For my family & I it happen overnight, soon as we learned the convenience of the location. Bob Jones trail is your backyard. You can jump on the trail & go in any direction & find a fun place to lounge. Bike to secret garden 7-10 min, Avila Beach 15 min or Mulligans 17-20 min. If you don’t bring your own bike you can rent one at Mineral Springs. Drive to Pismo 10 min, AG 15 min, Morro Bay an easy 20 min/DT SLO in 15min. You also have full access to Avila Bay Athletic Club. Allie & Jamil where excellent host made sure we had everything before and during our stay. I worked remotely from the location with no Wi-Fi issues. I would in a heartbeat stay here again. 1 mo was not enough. Unit is exactly as pictured.

This is a two story building with a care taker's unit on the first floor along with a laundry room that has a washer and dryer.
An outdoor staircase takes you to the second floor which is where you access the home. You have the entire second floor to yourself. An outdoor balcony has a BBQ and two seating areas overlooking the creek.

The house is next to the Avila Bay Club's tennis and pickleball courts. You can hear the players on the court and various club activities during the day and early evening if you are outside or have the windows open.

A great Farmer's Market (5 blocks with entertainment) is on Thursday night in San Luis Obispo (6 to 9 pm). Best beach on the Central Coast, no humidity, few bugs, cool mornings with fog sometimes to mid-morning, and clearing to warm afternoons with crystal clear skies. Our Friday Night Farmer's Market on May 1 ends on October 1 with fruit and veggie stands, food to eat, a band, and dancing at the beach . This is a 3-day minimum rental with a special County of San Luis Obispo license #6008080 allowing only four reservations per month with a maximum of 27 days for one reservation. Casa Blanca is a new home located directly across from Avila Beach Golf Resort and steps from the beach and promenade. The one, of twin-homes, hosts the perfect vacation for a quiet get away, or a fun packed adventure.
The space
This rental is for a three bedroom home - Unit A.
Casa Blanca is twin homes that can be rented separately or together for large group gatherings. Each home is private and has no shared common space. The twin homes can be joined for easy pass-thru by unlocking a privacy gate. The barn-door privacy gate is on the main terrace. When the gate is open, guests can easily walk between homes.
Unit A features three bedrooms, each furnished with a king-sized bed, and 2-1/2 bathrooms. A main living space, kitchen is at street level. Two bedrooms are upstairs, each with private ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom and laundry center is at ground level, just off the garage.
A beautiful private outdoor space for grilling and relaxing is right off the main area. You certainly don't have to (you are on vacation!), but the gourmet kitchen will tempt you to stay in and cook while enjoying the view of the central coast mountains.
Wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach fun, excellent restaurants and coffee shops are all within just minutes of walking. A great park for kids with an adjoining basketball court is also close. The fall is a great time to visit for apple picking and tasting.
Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are very doable, and will expose you to some of California's most stunning cliffs and secret beaches. Morro Bay, Cambria and San Simeon (where the elephant seals live) are all fun to explore.
The home is located in Avila Beach, just south of San Luis Obispo (Slo was voted one of the top 5 happiest cities) and nearby dozens of vineyards. SLO has the largest farmers market in California every Thursday night of the year, and Avila Beach has a lovely one each Friday night of the summer. Great shopping is all around as well as yummy seafood and all types of restaurants for every taste. If you like antiques, Arroyo Grande will delight you.
Kayaking in Shell Beach is a thrill as you paddle through caves and along the cliffs. Or, you may want to hike up Bishop's Peak or go whale watching, or deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay or San Luis Bay (near Avila Beach). Several public golf courses are nearby.
Or, you may want to just grab the beach chairs, towels and umbrella and walk down to the beach and read a good book. The options are really endless.
All of your basics will be provided. If you're renting for a week and would like a mid week cleaning that can be arranged upon request. We also have connections with a great home chef if you'd enjoy some in home gourmet food.

This unique home sits on a large lot and has plenty of space to BBQ and hang out. It has a great deal of character and makes guests feel right at home. Everyone loves the uniqueness of the space, and the close access to the beach, which has the best sand, waves and weather. The town itself has lots of wine tasting, delicious food, and sunshine. Guests are close to Port San Luis, which has additional restaurants and cool beaches. The town of San Luis Obispo is less than a ten minute drive.

Guests have access to the entire house, which includes a laundry room and two parking spaces.
Other things to note
There is a steep driveway, which should be considered when booking as well as stairs to access the house itself and then stairs to access the loft. The loft has windows with alarms for child safety and should be considered when deciding where children play and sleep. There is only small areas of carpeting and the rest is hardwood flooring. The laundry room is available to guests and we leave some supplies to use. We provide paper towels, dishwasher pods, and all-purpose cleaner. There is a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen, so no need for bottled water.
Allergy sufferers: Be aware we do take our pets to our home when we use it several times a year, but we use our own bedding and towels and clean everything thoroughly.
With a $25 cleaning fee (cleaning fee and procedure changed 7/3/22), guests are expected to clean up the place before they leave. Hosts will do all the laundry, clean the floors, and clean the bathroom, but it is expected that the home is left in the condition it was found. If you are expecting a deep cleaning for $25, this is not the place for you, your rating will reflect it and extra fees may be applied.
