The location where you will be staying is the Beverly Glen neighborhood of Visalia. This is a very desirable neighborhood because it is an established neighborhood with tree-lined streets and custom homes displaying styles ranging from Frank Loyd Wright esq to traditional brick 2 story homes.

Getting Around:
There is sufficient parking downtown if you choose not to walk. Uber and Lyft are available in Visalia, although not as quickly and consistently available as in larger cities. You will need a car for day-trips to Sequoia National Park, the central Pacific Coast, and the wineries in the Paso Robles area.

Other Things to Note:
You will be less than one mile from downtown! As you might expect, this is a busy street, but you will be in a residential neighborhood. The property is set back from the street and most of the sounds you will hear will be the water fountain and the birds chirping.

The apartment has Roku TV with Hulu,. The table and chairs comfortably seat 4, or can be used as a workspace. Hair dryer, make-up mirror, shampoo, conditioner, luggage stand, closet, and iron/ironing board, in addition to the kitchen amenities.

We suggest guests move around in their own cars. Although ride share is available through Uber/Lyft.

Other Things to Note:
We think this camping experience is best for a couple's retreat, staycation, or guests traveling to the National Parks who want the camping experience without the hassle and danger of real camping. This is a unique stay when traveling to the heart of California which we're sure you'll love!

DRIVE TO THE SEQUOIAS (SOUTH ENTRANCE)

CA-216 winds through the orchards nearby, a scenic two lane highway surrounded by farmland and citrus. In about15 minutes, you'll reach CA-198 bypassing the city traffic of Visalia, Farmersville and Exeter. As you climb, you’ll drive around Lake Kaweah with amazingviews and plenty of spots to stop for photos with the beautiful lake in the background winding through the Sierras. The road gets windy above the town of Three Rivers once you enter the Sequoia park.

Total drive time to south entrance 40 mins approximately.

Total drive time to General Sherman Tree 1.5 hrs approximately.

DRIVE TO KINGS CANYON (NORTH ENTRANCE)

Our favorite side! Start your park adventure with a drive to the north entrance via Highway 180- a scenic, easy route that’s less windy and less crowded than the southern approach. It’s a great option for a relaxed first day, especially if you’re looking to avoid the busier areas of the park.

You’ll pass through the rustic California countryside with rolling hills, old barns, citrus and olive groves and views of the San Joaquin Valley especially beautiful during sunset on your way back

This entrance leads to the awe-inspiring General Grant Tree, a living National Shrine honoring fallen soldiers, and to the dramatic canyon overlooks that make Kings Canyon so unforgettable.

The north entrance makes for an ideal Day 1 itinerary, leaving Day 2 open to explore the iconic General Sherman Tree and the Giant Forest via the southern route (or the other way round!).

Total drive time to the General Grant Tree - 1.5 hrs approximately.

The property is fully gated, with a private fenced yard to keep kids and pets safe. While the setup is designed for peace of mind, we do ask that you SUPERVISE little ones and pets at ALL times.

We’ve taken steps to ensure your comfort:

The space
Experience the feeling of this home with an open floor plan, fireplace, and vaulted ceilings. This feeling extends into the backyard through large rear windows allowing you to enjoy the quarter acre lot with plentiful garden areas.

One Story Home:
We have a Master bedroom will spoil you with vaulted ceilings, a king mattress, soaking tub, walk in shower and his and hers sinks. Also a tv for streaming with your login info.

Guest rooms have queen mattresses, walk in closets and fresh linen. Each bathroom is supplied with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, an iron, steamer and a hair dryer for your needs.

We have two Sealy queen air mattresses for the 4 out of 10 guests that stay. We provide you with extra linen, blankets and pillows to make you the most comfortable.

There is a private built in office space with cabinets, a bar and an eat-in dining area.

You will have access you the entire home except to one utility closet that we keep locked with replenishables.
Other things to note
We have two Sealy queen air mattresses for the guests that make up your party of ten.

As you step into your room, you’ll be greeted by a freshly painted space with ample natural light. The room is equipped with a luxurious 12” memory foam mattress, new bedding, blackout curtains, coffee/tea bar, mini fridge, desk with dual monitors & a 43” TV for your entertainment needs. Venture into the common areas & discover a spacious living room boasting a 65” TV & a large sectional couch, & a gym, washer/dryer. Rent includes all furnishings, utilities and Wi-Fi.

The space
The home is a 2 story and has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bath. There is also an attached "mother in-law suite" that the host lives in. Co-living spaces are a combination of private bedrooms and shared communal areas and amenities. The guests typically stay for 3 months so this is slightly different than short term rental experiences. The primary room #1 has a private restroom. Rooms #2-5 share a full restroom and there is a shared half restroom.

Common Spaces
⦁ Professional cleaning will be done once a month of the common areas.
⦁ Cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper will be provided.
⦁ Be mindful of the messes you make and clean up after yourself. This includes doing dishes, putting away cooking supplies, and taking out hair from the shower drain.
⦁ Don’t leave your personal things in the common areas. It can be mistaken for being communal and be broken or misplaced. Host is not responsible for any personal items that are damaged or stolen.
⦁ Treat others how they want to be treated, and be aware of their needs. For example, if someone is reading or watching a movie, don't disturb them.
⦁ Avoid making loud noises, especially at night when others may be sleeping or resting. Use headphones when you're listening to music, and ask others to do the same if they're disturbing you. Disturbing sounds can turn a quiet environment into an annoying and unpleasant space, so avoid them at all costs.
⦁ Be sure to close and lock the doors and windows securely when leaving the property.
⦁ Trash: Green lid is for yard waste; blue lid is for recycle materials; and grey lid is for trash. Trash is picked up every Monday morning. Set bins out Sunday evenings.
⦁ Garage use is not allowed for parking.
⦁ Parking is allowed in the drive way or the street in the front or side of the house.
⦁ Parties are not allowed
⦁ Pets are not allowed
