The entire downstairs unit is yours, including a spacious living room, two bedrooms (they are small), and some indoor space perfect for bikes, crashpads, climbing gear, or a pack and play! There is a big yard, with chairs and a table to use while you BBQ or just want to enjoy the evenings outside.

Other things to note:
The property is walking distance to restaurants and shops. There is also an amazing walking trail and the canal just a two-minute walk down the street. Bishop is also a great place to stay if you want to ski at Mammoth, but don't want to deal with the crowds and snow. It is an easy drive to so many other day trip destinations like Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite, Mono Lake, the ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, Bishop Creek, Crowley Lake, Convict Lake... and the list goes on.

- "Very comfortable room. Extremely convenient location; walkable to a lot of great places. Robin is very communicative!" - "We loved our stay but a few things could have been better. We had to move the beds to find the outlets since we both have Cpap machines. It was very dusty in the corners under the beds. The bed I slept in (on the right when facing the beds) felt like it needs replacing. I had to sleep diagonally in order to avoid feeling like I was going to roll off the edge of the bed. The coffee machine didn't work properly (or we couldn't figure it out, especially since there were no instructions) but I was at least able to heat up water to make tea. The bathroom, though compact, was beautiful but it needs better ventilation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Parlor Suite and would recommend it."

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly house on Bishop Creek. Pond and Creek are filled with fish. No permit necessary to fish in the pond. Easy access to the Buttermilks and dirt roads that will take you anywhere in the Owens Valley. This is a perfect house for rock climbers and tourists visiting the Bishop area. This is the first time this home has been listed on a vacation rental website (more pictures coming soon).

We have every guest sign a rental agreement contract. This contract will be provided after booking. The contract keeps us compliant with local and state laws and tells our guests the expectations when staying at the property.

Private bedroom in beautiful home situated on a spacious property on the edge of town with a seasonal creek and mountain views. Fish cleaning station nearby. Plenty of parking. Nearby access to creeks and lakes, Big Pine is the gateway to some of the best outdoor adventuring in the Eastern Sierra. . Well behaved dogs are welcome (max 2) . Mini fridge and coffee maker. you have your own bathroom across the hall from the room.

The space
One bedroom with a comfortable twin bed and additional twin trundle (both premium mattresses) mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave and newly remodeled bath in a remodeled mining house situated on a large property that backs up to open valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Beautiful views of the mountains from your front deck. Hot tub and BBQ, propane fire pit available for your use. Take a walk to the tree swing and enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Dog friendly home. Our dogs are friendly but will not be in your space.

Guest access
Guests have access to the room, the bathroom which is yours exclusively throughout your stay and is accessed by shared hallway, the entire front and side yard with hot tub and BBQ plus creek and adjacent land. Entry is through the front of the house. (Not a separate entrance) We are on site and happy to provide information on things to do and see.

Big Pine Cottage Hideaway! Our guest house has a fenced yard with a seasonal creek running through it. It has a parking area that can accommodate 2 vehicles. It is close walking distance to the downtown area. Big Pine is a small town, so morning and evening walks are a must. The base of the Eastern Sierra’s has many great places to explore.
Small pets (30lbs) are allowed for a fee of $30 and is payable at check in. Pets are not to be left alone. WiFi is available, but can be spotty at times.

The space
This cottage is comfy and secluded. Very clean and has all the amenities you might need, including a wine fridge and snacks!

There is outdoor table and BBQ for enjoying a meal outside.

Other things to note
Small pets (up to 30 lbs) are available for an additional fee of $30 and is payable upon check in. We ask that pets be in the owners care & custody at all times. We also ask that your pet is not left alone at the cottage for the day, not even in a crate.

While we do have WiFi, we are a rural area and at the base of the Eastern Sierra mountains, service isn’t always great. Please keep that in mind if your visit is dependent on WiFi service.

Visit the spectacular Eastern Sierra and stay in a unique and special, newly renovated, geodesic dome! Situated at 4000' in the hamlet of Big Pine, at the end of a cul-de-sac, beneath stunning views of 14,000' High Sierra Peaks. Located at the convergence of three mountain ranges, the Dome offers unparalleled, year round, access to the mountains in the epicenter of world class hiking, fishing, trail running, mountaineering, rock climbing, & backcountry and resort skiing / snowboarding!

The space
Visit the Eastern Sierra and stay in a geodesic dome! Originally designed by writer, designer, inventor, futurist, R. Buckminster Fuller, this architecture is built from triangles combined into hexagons to form a "hexadome" structure. It's basically the single family home version of a large expedition mountaineering tent. [I'm a mountain guide by trade, so yeah, I was immediately attracted to it.]

Pure domes are somewhat spherical with no right corners or plumb walls. This house has "wings" on each side, increasing the usable space. The master bedroom/bathroom is in a loft at the top of the dome with a rooftop patio view of the mountains. The living and dining rooms are in the central open space featuring overhanging triangular and trapezoidal windows. It has an airy, spacious, and welcoming feeling uncommon in a 1600 square foot house. We love it. The kitchen inhabits one of the wings and the two bedrooms downstairs each have their unique shape and character.

The Dome is not just a place to stay. It's an experience. It's fun. We feel so fortunate to be able to share it with you!

It's all yours, except for the matching Dome Shed in the backyard where we store things.

One thing is, park in the driveway and not out on the street in the cul-de-sac.

Other things to note
We just finished a massive Dome remodel. It's all new: the entire kitchen and appliances, bathrooms and fixtures, floors and paint, ceiling fan and light fixtures, central A/C and heat, laundry, ... all of it!

The yard is amazing and has running streams seasonally. The shade trees we planted 20 years ago now are doing a fine job. It's a great place to relax and chill at the end of a day of mountain adventuring! If you bring a pet, please clean up it's poop, using bags provided.
