Refrigerator and microwave worked well. Parking was close and felt very safe - away from the traffic on the highway. The grounds are nicely maintained and there is even a little creek with a sweet bridge. I was there one night and regretted that it could not have been longer. There is plenty of highway noise that could annoy a delicate sleeper. Management has placed packets of foam ear-plugs to help block out the noise. "

Communication was poor throughout, and we had to leave our key with a stranger because no property manager was available.The second night, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana. The third night, loud furniture moving in the adjacent unit kept us up until 4:30 AM. This stay was stressful, unprofessional, and not what we expected from a VRBO listing managed by Evolve."

My wife, two young sons and I had a wonderful stay on a skiing trip here. Plenty of room, wide-open kitchen area with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals and clean up afterward. Washer and dryer, two baths, comfortable area to get in front of the TV (there's also a DVD player), big dining table, high vaulted wooden ceiling in dining/living room and wooden floors. Very clean and in great condition.

- "The property is beautiful, very clean and close to the slopes, the only downside was that they don’t have WiFi! What year are we in? But everything else was great! Loved it!" - "The cabin was really clean and the view was breathtaking. There were a few setbacks though. 1) the directions to the cabin were incredibly unclear so we had to call 2) the fireplace did not work and the property management (PM) team knew but it was still listed as an amenity 3) only one of the two house keys worked 4) we didn’t have access to the garage which means we also weren’t able to use the kayak even though both were amenities 5) I messaged the contact through VRBO a week before arrival with some questions and Pam told me to call her (without leaving a number - I had no idea who Pam was and this was my first time using VRBO). I followed up a few times to get a number and nothing. Then I called the the PM number to ask some questions, was given a few answers, and was told I would get a call back on the rest (never did) and 5) the cabin actually has 3 or 4 room but you only have access to 2 rooms and neither were the master. I was confused when I arrived and found that some doors were locked. Yes, the cabin noted 2 rooms but I assumed it was a 2 room cabin- should have been clearer in description. Again, the cabin was beautiful but the above items did take away from the experience. We should have received a discount for the amenities that were advertised and not available. Would we stay in the cabin again? Yes! We just know now what to expect and not expect from the PM team."

- "Easy to find off of Hwy 395 and perfect half way spot between LA an Lake Tahoe /Reno. We spent the day enjoying our drive up north stopping at Mono Lake and Bodie State Park. Didn't want to rush to Lake Tahoe or pay double the cost there so Walker was a good place to spend the night. It's only 90 min away from Tahoe so we left early in the morning the next day and still had plenty of time to hike, splash, and enjoy Tahoe." - "Great location to see the sites in this area. This little house is centrally located in town, one minute walk to the coffee shop and Barleys sports bar and grill. A very friendly and quiet neighborhood. The house is cozy and well equip. There are golf clubs, a kayak, a paddle board as well as fishing gear with poles and an ice chest available if prior arrangements are made. Also a pack and play upon request. An hour drive to skiing/snowboarding and mountain biking. Our area is also awesome for off-road riding.

This little house has all the things! It’s a fully equip kitchen with under cabinet rechargeable lighting, bathroom, and laundry. Bring your personal items & food, then relax. It’s also dog friendly! Be sure you bring your dog bed. Please no cats, the cleaning lady is allergic. A fully fenced yard and an outdoor kennel. The couch pulls out to a queen bed and the master has a queen, extra bedding is in the storage at the foot of the bed. A walk-in closet in the bedroom. Under the chaise section is all the bedding for the couch bed. Extra sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, curling iron, and a few little extras to make your stay more enjoyable! Also a tv in the bedroom as well as the living room. In each nightstand in the bedroom are usbc & usb charging ports for your convenience. The end tables in the living room also have charging ports on the front.
Still working on exterior updates. But the afternoon shade in the back yard are perfect for bbqing and relaxing. We are still working on the exterior of the house and yards.
