Refrigerator and microwave worked well. Parking was close and felt very safe - away from the traffic on the highway. The grounds are nicely maintained and there is even a little creek with a sweet bridge. I was there one night and regretted that it could not have been longer. There is plenty of highway noise that could annoy a delicate sleeper. Management has placed packets of foam ear-plugs to help block out the noise. "

- "The apartment was cute and well-located for the Night in the Country event, but everything else was a mess. Our room wasn’t ready at check-in, and we never received the promised update. Communication was poor throughout, and we had to leave our key with a stranger because no property manager was available.The second night, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana. The third night, loud furniture moving in the adjacent unit kept us up until 4:30 AM. This stay was stressful, unprofessional, and not what we expected from a VRBO listing managed by Evolve."

A hiking trail is right behind the cabin, which we only partially explored. We hiked around Gull Lake, rented a boat on June Lake and spent a little time in town—all within a few minutes’ drive. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay, including a well-stocked kitchen. We would definitely return."
