This family cabin, built by our father in 1964, is a place for families and friends to reconnect while enjoying the wonders of the Tahoe area. The cabin interior is all knotty pine with a local stone gas burning fireplace in the living room. The master bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom a double bed and a bunkroom that will accommodate four people.

The cabin is just one mile from the lifts of Olympic Valley USA. Officially named Olympic Valley since the 1960 Olympic Winter games, is located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, just off Highway 89, 2 minutes to Palisades Tahoe Lifts, about 13 minutes from Truckee, 5 minutes from Alpine Meadows, 25 minutes from North Star and about 10 minutes from Tahoe City by the lake. Our 3 Bedroom Alpine Meadows Condo is perfectly situated to enjoy everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. The condo has 3 levels so there’s room to spread out plus a nice open concept kitchen, living & dining area. The deck off the living room has nice views of the Sierras and the dark sky is perfect for stargazing. There’s a small garage that can fit a smaller car or SUV or use it for gear & bike storage.

We're only about a 6 min. drive to Lake Tahoe & Palisades Tahoe Village (formerly Squaw Valley USA). Short walk to the Truckee River. Also within walking distance of the River Ranch Inn for dining & drinks. Fast WiFi. The Summer POOL is seldom crowded.

Great location to enjoy the outdoors! Hike, Fish, Swim, Kayak & Raft! Near the Bike Trail that runs along the Truckee River. You can bike from Alpine Meadows to Squaw Valley or Lake Tahoe! Scenic hikes nearby!

2). We have parking in our complex for 2 cars. Short term renters are never allowed to park on the street. (If more than 2 cars…ask for options).

3). No parties or events can be held at any short term rentals.

4). Maximum occupancy limits- we are limited to 8 people on site / occupying the property.

5). Outdoor Open Flame / Wood Burning / Charcoal Fire Pits & BBQs are now banned at all short term rentals. This condo has an ELECTRIC BBQ on our deck.

6). Sorry our HOA doesn’t allow pets.

There are FREE buses that service North Lake Tahoe called Tahoe Area Rapid Transit (TART) - you can find more info by searching online.

In the wintertime, there's a FREE SHUTTLE OPERATED BY PALISADES TAHOE. It operates between the Alpine Meadows Lodge and the Palisades Tahoe Village.

Another wintertime travel option is an on-demand shuttle called MOUNTAINEER. This FREE service picks you up anywhere in Alpine Meadows or Olympic Valley and drops you off at Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort.

By car, it's an easy drive from our condo to Lake Tahoe or Olympic Valley (takes about 5-10 minutes).

Uber & Lift plus private taxis all operate at Lake Tahoe.

There's a nice paved bike path that follows the Truckee River. (Also good for walking or jogging). You can hop on the bike path from our condo and if you go left you head to Olympic Valley and if you go right, you'll wind up at Lake Tahoe. The path is fairly level and not too challenging for kids and others wanting to go for a leisurely stroll. You can bring your own bikes or rent them nearby at Dave's.

ALPINE SPRINGS COMMUNITY PARK:
Located nearby! The park is open to the public on a pay-to-use basis. There’s a swimming pond, grass areas, picnic tables & restrooms there. Cost is $20 per day per family.

Best, top of the mountain home. We love it and you will too! We are perched at the top of Juniper Mountain Road with incredible views of Alpine Meadows Ski Area and the Munchkin Chutes. With a private setting and a private deck, this upgraded, mountain house is the perfect retreat for families. We offer a split-level home with 4 bedrooms (master ensuite), a loft for separate relaxing and TV watching, a wonderful gas fireplace and a huge outdoor hot tub. My family and I have had many amazing adventures here and so many wonderful memories. We are sure you will too.

- "Overall impression was satisfactory, and the property suited our needs just fine. The condo is in need of some deferred maintenance - no window screens and carpeting is showing it’s age. The heat wave made it hot inside in July but just stay at the beaches till later in the evening. Kitchen equipped, bed comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The only negative would be there was no screens on the windows except one, tiny concern that critters would come in at night cause windows had to stay open due to heat but they didn't . - "The location cannot be beat, the property itself is new and clean and comfortable. We had two issues-- no coffee maker, just a Nespresso machine. And the other was the quality of the paper products. There was 1/2 a roll of crappy paper towel, and the TP/Kleenex was less than acceptable. The space
I am looking for a one month Minimum SOLO renter (NO TAX long term rental.)

Mid-December to Mid-April a free ski shuttle can take you anywhere in Olympic Valley ~7am to 11pm and connect you to TART, our local free bus. Groceries can be easily ordered online and delivered through Instacart.

No storage; not a great place for a person with a lot of “Stuff”. You may want to consider renting a little storage unit in Truckee if you have a lot of things or any furniture.

Furnished bedroom has Queen Bed, clothing rack, dresser, nightstand and desk with computer chair.. You control the in-room heater. Samsung TV has NETFLIX to simply be used with streaming channels; not standard channels with commercials.

Full bathroom with shower (shared with one other room) is on entry floor of Main House about 10-12 steps away. All bedding and towels provided as well as hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Weekly use of washer and dryer.

Shared full kitchen in Main House; please bring own spices and condiments. Personal mid-size refrigerator and storage for dry goods. Renter provides own food and drinks, spices and condiments.

Absolutely no vaping, smoking, or drugs on property. Sorry, due to my extreme allergies, shared spaces and my fear of tripping over an animal, no animals allowed on property.

The Main House has AirBnB guests that often come for weekends and maybe a few during the week. I have enjoyed offering lodging since 1993 and am a "AirBnB Super Host."

I am looking for a clean, responsible, kind and optimistic renter. Someone who will take a bag of garbage to the garage and shovel snow on the 12 ft path to the main house when needed. I am 77 and occasionally need help with these two areas.

Snow Time:
As with all lodgings at Tahoe, you must be experienced with driving in the mountains with possible ice and snow. Make sure you have AWD or 4WD with snow tires. At the very least… carry chains with snow tires. Simply, be prepared. Sometimes the weather can surprise us!

Our beautiful Studio is located in the peaceful area of Olympic Valley, in a dead-end street with limited traffic which add to your retreat. It is the perfect retreat for max 2 guests. You can enjoy walking along the beautiful Olympic Valley meadow to the Village (0.8 miles) and go for a bite or do some shopping....very short drive....Hiking Granite Peak or Shirley Canyon, biking or roller blade along the meadow and the Truckee River to Tahoe City, Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.

Our studio is perfect for 1 or 2 guests (280 Sq Ft). Enjoy the view of the mountain through your window!
Well equipped with all you need: mini fridge, microwave, 2 burners cooktop, plates, silverware, glasses, cups, coffee maker (filters provided), toaster, hydronic heat... You can relax on a comfortable King size bed (linen provided) or use the sofa. TV and WIFI are available in the Studio. Our bathroom includes a nice shower, sink and toilet. If you need, there is an iron and iron board available in the Studio.

The Studio is located in our main house, but guests have their main entrance which makes it very private. Guests do not have access to our main house. They will share their main hallway with only one other Studio. From there, they have their own door to their studio.

Located on the slopes of Palisades Tahoe Resort, this condo provides great access to world-class skiing and snowboarding in the winter, as well as hiking, mountain biking, and golfing in the warmer months. Enjoy views of the valley peaks and tennis court.

The Studio Loft is an open studio space with two stories, two bathrooms and two separate sleep zones.

The living zone on the first level has a new leather sofa, charming coffee table and television. It is not hard to imagine the great conversations and stories you’ll get in this comfy gathering zone. It has an electric stove heater for a little extra warmth and coziness.

Next to the living space is the queen murphy bed that by design creates extra space.

Across is the well-equipped upgraded kitchen with granite counters, new cabinetry, white appliances and a full refrigerator. It also includes a toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, a range top plus oven and all the utensils you need for your stay.

The dining table seats six on a custom table with log wooden legs and a log base. It has custom chairs too.

Upstairs is an open loft with a high ceiling, a queen bed and beautiful custom artisan rocking chair and dresser. It is a great zone to relax. There is also a television.

You are located a short stroll to the Palisades Tahoe Village for après, dining options and some shopping too. In the winter. You are sitting on Palisades Tahoe’s slopes, steps from the chairs and Base-to-Base Gondola to Alpine. If snowtubing, snowshoeing or Nordic skiing are of interest, they are all nearby. Palisades Tahoe Lodge HOA amenities include a large gym, steam room and sauna, plus indoor and outdoor hot tubs.

The Palisade Tahoe Lodge pool is a big summer favorite and, if that is not enough there are other innumerable fun activities in Olympic Valley and North Tahoe. Do not forget, while staying in Olympic Valley you are just six short miles away from beautiful Lake Tahoe!

Your rental is a contract for a single vacation rental condo, with one owner in a multi-floor property. We are unable to reassign guests and adhere to all stated cancellation policies.

PLEASE NOTE: Unless you reserved a condominium equipped with a portable Air Conditioning unit, your condominium DOES NOT have Air Conditioning.

Parking is available for vehicles under 90 inches tall in the covered garage. Guests with oversized vehicles or trailers are responsible for securing their own off-site parking.

The space
When it is time to call it a day after all your Tahoe fun, you can get together in the living room and enjoy time relaxing at the fireplace with friends or family. The updated kitchen and panty make the space great for creating gatherings. The dining table holds six and is in the same area as the kitchen and living rooms for great connections. A large TV sits in front of the sofa (and next to the fireplace). The area has everything you need to cook a delicious home-cooked meal and relax.

The two-bedroom condo provides one bedroom room with two sets of full size bunk beds, and the second bedroom has two full size beds. Both bedrooms have their individual en-suite bathrooms which always add to more vacation happiness and convenience. The two bathrooms are recently updated with lovely black granite. Large windows supply light and a wonderful open feeling.

It is just three short minutes to Palisades Tahoe Resort. The Mountaineer shuttle door to door service is available at this location. HOA amenities include pool, hot tub, saunas and tennis courts. Pickle ball courts, playground and synthetic soccer field are found next door.

Our one-bedroom apartment is located in the peaceful area of Olympic Valley, in a dead-end street with limited traffic which add to your retreat. You'll have your own entrance which gives you your privacy. You can enjoy walking along the beautiful Olympic Valley meadow to the Village (0.8 miles) or walk through the quiet neighborhood...or be right there driving. Hiking Granite Peak or Shirley Canyon, biking along the meadow and the Truckee River to Tahoe City, Downhill skiing, snowshoeing.

The space
Our one-bedroom apartment has a full kitchen with granite countertop, full fridge, dishwasher (soap provided). One bedroom with King size bed, walking closet and working desk. Nice bathroom with shower, soap and shampoo. Washer and dryer (soap provided). Iron and Iron board. Hydronic radiant heating floor.
This apartment is perfect for 2 guests (550 Sq Ft).
There is one parking spot at the lower driveway, in front of the apartment. If more than 1 parking spot is needed, it will have to be discussed at the time of reservation.

Guest access
The apartment is located in our main house but guests have their main entrance which makes it very private. Guests do not have access to our main house.
Easy parking space! We do have a parking space available for you in our lower driveway right in front of your apartment.
We are making the check in and check out very easy...Self check in and out...

Maximum occupancy amount. Nighttime occupancy is defined as 2 people per bedroom, plus 2 additional people, up to a maximum of 12 guests, excluding children under 12 years of age. Nighttime occupancy limits begin at 9:00 PM Daytime occupancy is defined as one and a half times the maximum number of occupants allowed to stay overnight at the unit, excluding children under twelve.
