Best of Both Worlds!
Our 2 bedroom guest house, with a rural, idyllic, secluded feel, is only a lovely stroll of less than 3/4 of a mile to the heart of downtown Nevada City. Not just a 'vacation rental'. It is a meticulously maintained 1,100 sf home -- Totally separate, private, sophisticated, quiet, one-of-a-kind, architecturally designed, light filled retreat down a long and private driveway.

Honeycomb Ranch is a non-smoking property located in a 'neighborhood' of 4 ranchettes, each 5 acres apart. It is the perfect retreat/get-away for a couple or a couple of friends or a small family.

The large master bedroom is located at the end of the hall and has a new pillowtop kingsize mattress and a sliding glass door opening onto the deck with meadow and forest views. The second bedroom is smaller but has a very comfortable new pillow-top queen size bed, nightstands and a dresser. There is an additional closet in the entry way if hanging space is needed. (See 'Property Details' for additional information.) The furniture in the living room is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the views from every window are exquisite.

Added bonuses include wheelchair accessibility, unlimited satellite channels on TV, an electric car hook up,
an expandable dining room table (can seat 6-8) and an antique tool museum located in our barn.

Easy drives to come to a 'world away'! Anytime is the right time to make your reservations. Nevada County boasts a gorgeous, eastern style Fall with brilliant color everywhere. You don't even have to leave our property to see an unbelievable display of Fall colors. There are huge crafts faires over Thanksgiving weekend and there are classical music festivals in the Fall and throughout the year. Professional theater and our Center for the Arts concerts and events take place year round. In the winter, the towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley both hold street fairs in the month of December prior to Christmas and the towns are decorated to look like something out of a Victorian fairy tale. Winter brings ski-ing and within an hour, you can be at major ski resorts in Lake Tahoe. In the spring, quince, daffodils and everything else is in bloom, frogs are croaking and the river will be flowing. In the summer, you can swim in our magnificent Yuba River, hike, stroll to Farmers Markets, attend music festivals and just enjoy. Weddings abound in our area from Spring through the Fall so if you are part of the wedding party or a guest coming from out of town, make your reservations now. Staying in our guest house instead of a hotel will make the event that much more memorable.

An adorable and private cottage in downtown Nevada City - just a few minutes walk to the shops, galleries, cafes, bars, restaurants, and events of the charming and historic Nevada City. The Downtown Bungalow features a bedroom with a queen memory foam bed, flat screen HD TV, closet and chair. The bathroom includes organic shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion, plus a hairdryer and luxurious towels. The kitchen has a full set up including a coffee cone, coffee press, burr coffee grinder, juicer and all the appliances, pans, and dishes you need for your stay (a regular 12-cup coffeemaker is available by request.) A gas grill is on the patio. There is a dining area and lovely outdoor patio under a pergola for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. We provide French coffee beans, tea, and sparkling water (+treats!) The Bungalow is a separate building on our property, with owner interaction at a minimum. There is private parking for one car. This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

Nice quiet neighborhood nestled in the trees. Just steps to Pioneer Park that holds a multitude of events including concerts, movie nights, dance classes, drum circles etc. This park also has tennis courts, baseball fields, a public pool, horseshoe pits and a jungle gym for the children. Just minutes to downtown. Arguably the best neighborhood in Nevada City.

There is parking in the driveway for 2 vehicles. Just a brief walk through a beautiful trail following Deer Creek or down a cascade of stairs will put you in the center of downtown Nevada City. You can also take the streets (5 min walk) into town. We are very centrally located.

3. HOUSE RULES & POLICIES. The Vacation Rental may have specific rules and policies regarding pets, smoking/vaping, quiet hours, parking, pool and/or hot tub usage, and
other local, HOA, or property regulations. These rules are detailed in the description section of the Vacation Rental listing, in an Exhibit A attached hereto, or as otherwise delivered to you, and are incorporated into this Agreement. Please review these terms carefully, as violation(s) may result in additional fees or the immediate removal of you and other members of your party from the Vacation Rental without refund. Further, violation of any law or ordinance by any individual at the Vacation Rental during your reservation will result in the immediate removal of you and other members of your party from the Vacation Rental without refund.
4. ARRIVAL DETAILS & CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT. Once your booking has been paid in full, you will receive contact information for the primary contact for your stay (your “Guest Contact”). Check-in and check-out times will be communicated to you prior to your arrival, unless otherwise set forth in the description of the Vacation Rental. Please confirm your expected arrival time with your Guest Contact. If you or any member of your group fails to vacate the Vacation Rental at the designated check-out time, you grant JC Property Solutions LLC the right to charge the credit card number used to book the Vacation Rental for an additional night. Further, JC Property Solutions LLC or the home owner may initiate any and all proceedings necessary to remove you, your occupants, or your belongings from the Vacation Rental.
5. DAMAGE. Any damage to the Vacation Rental must be reported to JC Property Solutions LLC before check-out. You agree damage is your full responsibility. This may include damage or loss occurring during your stay, violations of house rules or policies, additional cleaning fees, and/or any fines or other costs incurred by the behavior of you or any other occupant during your stay in violation of laws or other regulations. You grant JC Property Solutions LLC the right to charge the credit card number used to book the Vacation Rental for any such damages, including, but not limited too, additional cleaning fees. To ensure that the proper party is held responsible, please notify your Host of any damage found at check-in.

Providing a spa and wellness center, Breathtaking View Nevada City offers accommodations in Nevada City. This vacation home provides air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free Wifi. The vacation home features 4 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, a washing machine, and 3 bathrooms with a hair dryer. The Love Suite is an adorable 350 sf studio with queen bed, satellite TV, internet, brand new kitchenette fully stocked with dishes and utilities, new bathroom with shower, spilt unit heating and air. One block form Main Street, Walk to everything. One block to Center for the Arts. Adorable small space right in the heart of downtown Grass Valley. A great hide-away or romantic get-a-way. We have a community washer and dryer, and a private fenced in yard.

Other things to note

It also has a small yard. There is NO Oven or dishwasher. There is however a 2 burner stove top and refrigerator, fully stocked with dishes and utensils, toaster, coffee pot, crock pot.

You are also a very short walk to our largest park in town, Condon Park. It has a disc golf course, good trails, and a dog park.
