Our 2 bedroom guest house, with a rural, idyllic, secluded feel, is only a lovely stroll of less than 3/4 of a mile to the heart of downtown Nevada City. Not just a 'vacation rental'. It is a meticulously maintained 1,100 sf home -- Totally separate, private, sophisticated, quiet, one-of-a-kind, architecturally designed, light filled retreat down a long and private driveway.

Honeycomb Ranch is a non-smoking property located in a 'neighborhood' of 4 ranchettes, each 5 acres apart. It is the perfect retreat/get-away for a couple or a couple of friends or a small family.

The large master bedroom is located at the end of the hall and has a new pillowtop kingsize mattress and a sliding glass door opening onto the deck with meadow and forest views. The second bedroom is smaller but has a very comfortable new pillow-top queen size bed, nightstands and a dresser. There is an additional closet in the entry way if hanging space is needed. (See 'Property Details' for additional information.) The furniture in the living room is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the views from every window are exquisite.

Added bonuses include wheelchair accessibility, unlimited satellite channels on TV, an electric car hook up,
an expandable dining room table (can seat 6-8) and an antique tool museum located in our barn.

If you live in San Francisco and want to make a quick getaway out of the fog, it is just a 2 1/2 hour drive. Reno is only an hour and 15 minutes away and Sacramento is just an hour. Easy drives to come to a 'world away'! Anytime is the right time to make your reservations. Nevada County boasts a gorgeous, eastern style Fall with brilliant color everywhere. You don't even have to leave our property to see an unbelievable display of Fall colors. There are huge crafts faires over Thanksgiving weekend and there are classical music festivals in the Fall and throughout the year. Professional theater and our Center for the Arts concerts and events take place year round. In the winter, the towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley both hold street fairs in the month of December prior to Christmas and the towns are decorated to look like something out of a Victorian fairy tale. Winter brings ski-ing and within an hour, you can be at major ski resorts in Lake Tahoe. In the spring, quince, daffodils and everything else is in bloom, frogs are croaking and the river will be flowing. In the summer, you can swim in our magnificent Yuba River, hike, stroll to Farmers Markets, attend music festivals and just enjoy. Weddings abound in our area from Spring through the Fall so if you are part of the wedding party or a guest coming from out of town, make your reservations now. Staying in our guest house instead of a hotel will make the event that much more memorable.

An adorable and private cottage in downtown Nevada City - just a few minutes walk to the shops, galleries, cafes, bars, restaurants, and events of the charming and historic Nevada City. The Downtown Bungalow features a bedroom with a queen memory foam bed, flat screen HD TV, closet and chair. The bathroom includes organic shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion, plus a hairdryer and luxurious towels. The kitchen has a full set up including a coffee cone, coffee press, burr coffee grinder, juicer and all the appliances, pans, and dishes you need for your stay (a regular 12-cup coffeemaker is available by request.) Spring, summer, and fall are gorgeous for outdoor activities. The fall foliage is magnificent, and winter brings its own charms. Nevada City's famous Victorian Christmas celebrated throughout the month of December, draws visitors from all over. And the occasional snowfall blankets the town and countryside in white. Skiing is only an hour or so away, up Interstate 80 towards Truckee. If you want a more temperate climate to stay in and not have to go too far to ski, Nevada City is the perfect spot. If golf is your passion, there are three championship golf courses in Grass Valley and Auburn, just a short drive from the Inn.

Nevada City, and it's close neighbor, Grass Valley, another vibrant historic town, host a wide variety of cultural activities all year long. There are music and art festivals, fairs, the Nevada City Fourth of July Parade, and the famous Nevada City Bike Race held in downtown Nevada City each year on Father's Day. The North Columbia Story Telling Festival, also held every year, has gained wide notoriety and draws folks from all over to hear some of the country's best storytellers. North Columbia, just a short drive from Nevada City, is a former gold rush town, now just a crossroads with the old two room schoolhouse converted to a community center as the venue for the festival. Check the local chamber of commerce web site for the schedules of all the events in the area.

Bed in the attic bedroom is comfortable and cozy -- and overall, we never needed to change the pre-set temps for the heating, even though we were visiting as a cold storm front arrived. This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

The Nevada City area has been booming with new trails connecting the town to its Deer Creek watershed. The latest major addition is the Deer Creek Environs section of the Tribute Trail. This trailhead is a short 2 minute walk from the cottage. The Environs is a forested 1.5 mile loop on the south side of Deer Creek where, just a few minutes from town. There’s a walk along the old Rough and Ready ditch, a woodsy foray downslope from the ditch, remnants of the Providence Mine, and an easy connection by foot or bicycle to Nevada City.

The cottage is conveniently located on a quiet street with separate driveway. The front door is opened using a unique access code that will be provided to you the day of arrival.

The cottage is nestled in natural, non-manicured, outdoor surroundings with a private gravel driveway and off-street parking. If we know you are arriving after dark, we will leave lights on for you as there are no street lights on our end of the street. The cottage is the first house on the right just after the row of mailboxes, also on the right.

Nice quiet neighborhood nestled in the trees. Just steps to Pioneer Park that holds a multitude of events including concerts, movie nights, dance classes, drum circles etc. This park also has tennis courts, baseball fields, a public pool, horseshoe pits and a jungle gym for the children. Just minutes to downtown. Arguably the best neighborhood in Nevada City.

There is parking in the driveway for 2 vehicles. Just a brief walk through a beautiful trail following Deer Creek or down a cascade of stairs will put you in the center of downtown Nevada City. You can also take the streets (5 min walk) into town. We are very centrally located.

• This Agreement requires claims to be resolved through Arbitration (Section 17).
• This Agreement contains a Jury Trial wavier and a Class action waiver (Section 19).

1. BOOKING TRANSACTION. This Agreement is betweenJC Property Solutions LLC (“The host”) and the individual completing this booking transaction for the Vacation Rental (“you” or “Guest”).JC Property Solutions LLC represents the owner of the Vacation Rental. JC Property Solutions LLC provides the Vacation Rental subject to the terms of this Agreement. You agree that you will be present at the Vacation Rental for the entire duration of the reservation and that you will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each individual present at the Vacation Rental during your stay. This includes ensuring everyone in your party or otherwise present at the Vacation Rental (each an “occupant”) is aware of and in compliance with the terms identified in this Agreement. If you are bringing a minor as an occupant, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the supervision of that minor throughout the duration of your stay and agree to the terms of this Agreement on each minor’s behalf.
2. PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION. The total amount due, including the base rates, taxes, and fees are displayed on the checkout webpage for the Vacation Rental. A portion of your total payment may be due upon checkout, as indicated in the “amount to be charged now” line. The balance is due prior to arrival within the schedule indicated on the reservation webpage. Please review these amounts carefully. You may cancel your booking at any time, however, all amounts that have been paid prior to your cancellation will be non-refundable unless specifically indicated otherwise at checkout. Please review the specific cancellation and refund terms in the listing you are reserving prior to checkout as exceptions will not be made once your reservation is confirmed.
3. HOUSE RULES & POLICIES. The Vacation Rental may have specific rules and policies regarding pets, smoking/vaping, quiet hours, parking, pool and/or hot tub usage, and
other local, HOA, or property regulations. These rules are detailed in the description section of the Vacation Rental listing, in an Exhibit A attached hereto, or as otherwise delivered to you, and are incorporated into this Agreement. Please review these terms carefully, as violation(s) may result in additional fees or the immediate removal of you and other members of your party from the Vacation Rental without refund. Further, violation of any law or ordinance by any individual at the Vacation Rental during your reservation will result in the immediate removal of you and other members of your party from the Vacation Rental without refund.
4. ARRIVAL DETAILS & CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT. Once your booking has been paid in full, you will receive contact information for the primary contact for your stay (your “Guest Contact”). Check-in and check-out times will be communicated to you prior to your arrival, unless otherwise set forth in the description of the Vacation Rental. Please confirm your expected arrival time with your Guest Contact. If you or any member of your group fails to vacate the Vacation Rental at the designated check-out time, you grant JC Property Solutions LLC the right to charge the credit card number used to book the Vacation Rental for an additional night. Further, JC Property Solutions LLC or the home owner may initiate any and all proceedings necessary to remove you, your occupants, or your belongings from the Vacation Rental.
5. DAMAGE. Any damage to the Vacation Rental must be reported to JC Property Solutions LLC before check-out. You agree damage is your full responsibility. This may include damage or loss occurring during your stay, violations of house rules or policies, additional cleaning fees, and/or any fines or other costs incurred by the behavior of you or any other occupant during your stay in violation of laws or other regulations. You grant JC Property Solutions LLC the right to charge the credit card number used to book the Vacation Rental for any such damages, including, but not limited too, additional cleaning fees. To ensure that the proper party is held responsible, please notify your Host of any damage found at check-in.
