Enjoy spectacular views of the Mill Pond and Penman Peak from our Graeagle Meadows townhome, right on Graeagle Creek, a year-round stream. There is something for everyone here – fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, golf (5 gorgeous 18 hole courses and two 9 hole courses), cycling, mountain biking, swimming, gold panning, wine tasting, a brewery, and ranger talks/camp fires at nearby Plumas Eureka state park. Then again, you can just sit on the deck and relax to the peaceful sound of the creek, watching the osprey and occasional eagle catch their dinner in the pond.

We have decorated our home in a “contemporary rustic” style. The master is upstairs and features a Cal King bed and a gorgeous view of Penman Peak and the Mill Pond. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and “live edge” cedar and beetle-kill pine furniture custom made by an artisan in Seattle. There is also a half bedroom upstairs we call the “bear’s den”, which has a twin bed with a pull-out trundle underneath. Legally it is a bedroom, but it has no windows and is very small. We recommend this room for children only.

The living room, dining area and deck all face the Mill Pond and Penman Peak. There simply is no better spot to watch the fireworks over the pond!! The deck has comfortable outdoor furniture and a dining table that seats four so you can enjoy al fresco dining on the pond. A gas barbeque sits around the corner of the deck out of view.

The living room has a modern, leather reclining sofa, large hi-def flat screen LED TV, blue ray player, and a desk. The dining room has a custom live edge willow table and seats six comfortably. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms and the living room have iPod players.

There are numerous restaurants in the area to satisfy foodies and fans of “down home cooking” alike. Walk to town, which features various community festivals, wine tasting, quaint shops, a grocery store, candy stores, frosties, etc. At the Mill Pond you can rent paddle boats, paddle boards, and kayaks for playing in the pond.

We are offering select guests a chance to stay at this comfortable and well appointed house. This house also serves as our personal vacation home, and as such it is in much better condition and is better equipped than many other rental homes in the area. For now, we have chosen to rent it when we are not able to use it ourselves. The home includes a relaxing great room with wet bar, large dining area and recently remodeled kitchen with new appliances. In early 2024 we totally renovated and updated both bathrooms and upgraded all interior doors. Fiber optic Internet and WiFi included. Tesla adapter provided to allow charging on 30 amp dryer circuit. Our guests rave about relaxing on our large back deck featuring a large private tree-filled fenced back yard. It is the perfect place to enjoy the hammock or let dogs romp freely and securely.

About half of our guests are repeat visitors from prior years. This is a great place to enjoy all that Graeagle and the surrounding area has to offer including several quality golf courses, hiking, fishing, boating and a surprising selection of wonderful restaurants.

Please note that we offer the most liberal cancellation policy allowed by the HomeAway platform. We do this because we know from our own travel experiences that unforeseen circumstances can affect even well made plans. However, those abusing this privilege by cancelling close to the rental date without good reason will not be allowed to rebook our home in the future.

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view - located a short stroll (3 blocks) from downtown. This modern, yet rustic retreat is perfect for groups and families wanting to be in the action of town, but feel like they are isolated on a meadow far from civilization.

This home has hiking and biking trails that start within 50 yards of the front door. The public picnic area and park are a block away. The Mill Pond and the Little Red Shops are all a short three block walk away.

There are two king beds in two rooms, including the master, and one room with 2 full beds. A full dining room with room for at least 6 and a fully equipped kitchen are ready for your delicious family meals - or if you don't feel like cooking, take advantage of the dining available close by in Graeagle and Blairsden. The main living area features a 55 inch TV with Roku streaming, movies, games, puzzles and books for those who want to unplug. A barbeque is in the backyard, both gas and charcoal. The backyard is fenced with a 4 foot fence so dogs and kids stay put. A lovely front patio area and landscaping comes with outdoor seating, lounge chairs, and a bocce/cornhole court to enjoy. Two bikes are available for a casual ride around town. Enjoy our home and the town of Graeagle with plenty of room for the whole family and your dogs.

The town of Graeagle features a yoga studio, restaurants, an ice cream shop, road side burger stand, a coffee shop, eclectic boutiques, wine bar, local tavern and a gym. A short drive or bike ride from the house is Ronin Fermentation Project and The Brewing Lair, both fun stops for a tasty micro-brew with your dog. Several delicious restaurants are in the near vicinity. Horseback riding and miniature golf are available downtown. Mountain biking is a great option as well as miles of scenic mountain hiking trails located in the Gold Lakes basin which can be accessed from our neighborhood. Great fishing is located nearby and if you enjoy golf, you've come to the right place with close access to multiple courses (Graeagle Meadows, Whitehawk, Nakoma Golf Resort, and Plumas Pines to name a few). Depending on skill level, there is something for everyone.

Come here to relax and unplug. Our home does have fiber optic Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected. The house has central heat. Summer temperatures are relatively mild and our home stays very cool. If it gets hot, fans are available in each room, however, there is no air-conditioning.

Graeagle Getaway is a two-story home, that is actually two homes in one. Built as two separate town homes, the home is now structured as one but yet still offers separation between various areas. The downstairs of the east wing of the home features a rustic living room with a gas fireplace with high ceilings, windows that look into the trees above, and French doors that open onto the full deck of the backyard. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room with another set of French doors, and the completely new and remodeled kitchen. Upstairs in the east wing, you will find the master bedroom and bathroom. Connecting the two unique sections of the home is an enclosed hallway downstairs, and a deck upstairs featuring seating and a gas fireplace. The west wing of the home features three additional guest rooms, one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. There is a full bathroom downstairs and a second upstairs. There is also a washer and dryer, as well as a full sauna in the west wing of the downstairs.

The exterior of Graeagle Getaway is the true treat. True relaxation at its best. Sitting on a half acre, the house features a backyard deck that stretches nearly the entire length of the home. At the far end of this deck is an in-ground hot tub that allows for stargazing year round. Mentioned previously, there is also a deck upstairs that faces the backyard and green belt, accessible from both the east and west wings. The third deck is located in the front of the home facing the front yard. There is also a large grassy area with string lights running through the trees in the backyard, small pond with a running creek, a sitting area, and new horseshoe pits. The lot sits adjacent to a greenbelt where you can often see deer moving through the area.

There is a semi-circle driveway in the front of Graeagle Getaway, a driveway leading into the two-car garage, and a large gravel parking area that can easily accommodate 3 to 4 vehicles.

Graeagle Getaway is a minute drive time from Graeagle Meadows Golf Course as well as downtown Graeagle. The world-famous Lakes Basin area, with its endless recreation opportunities, is an easy 15 minute drive.

The 4th bedroom is located outside & doesn't have a bathroom. Access this room by a dirt path off of the deck.

DISCLOSURE: During the winter months, depending on the amount of snow in Graeagle, the small guest house (4th bedroom) may or may not be available. We will really try to clear the snow but the path can be challenging if there is too much snow.

The HOA provides snow removal services for the Graeagle Meadows community which should allow for a 4WD vehicle to enter without too much issue, though we cannot guarantee how quickly the snow removal occurs after each snow.

This suite/studio has private access and is located downstairs, in the lower level of the house. Guests have access to the patio and front yard, as well as the lower driveway where plenty of parking is provided. There is a full kitchen equipped with an electric range top oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, wine glasses, cups, utensils, Keurig with coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, to-go cups with straws and lids. Outdoor patio has additional seating and a BBQ.

We also have prepared a coffee and tea bar featuring a large selection of tea varieties, regular and decaf coffee, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider. Breakfast bars, granola bars, and protein bars are complimentary. The master bathroom boosts an oversized shower with dual shower heads. Other local activities include fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, and sledding. This charming cabin is adjacent to the green belt and golf cart path to the Plumas Pines Golf Course. Graeagle is a very small close knit town. The Graeagle Restaurant is open 7am -2pm. The Graeagle Store is open Monday-Saturday 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The evening restaurants close by 7-8pm.

The main living area features a 55 inch TV with Roku streaming, movies, games, puzzles and books for those who want to unplug. A barbeque is in the backyard, both gas and charcoal. The backyard is fenced with a 4 foot fence so dogs and kids stay put. A lovely new front patio area and landscaping comes with outdoor seating, lounge chairs, and a bocce/cornhole court to enjoy. Two bikes are available for a casual ride around town. Enjoy our home and the town of Graeagle with plenty of room for the whole family and your dogs.

A professional pool table is adjacent to a wet bar in the living area and serves as good entertainment and family fun after a daytime hike or golf. A wood-burning stove and a large natural stone fireplace are in the great room. The home has reliable Wi-Fi and Direct TV. The well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances has everything for full-scale cooking of meals for family and friends.

Guest access
Access to the house is controlled by an owner-issued passcode. The code is the last four digits of the phone that was used to make the reservation. Guests are encouraged to use the decks, pool table, and the entire main floor except for a locker by the dinette and a small closet in the primary bedroom. The lower level garage is for the owner's use.

Other things to note
Books showing local hiking trails and information on dining and activities are available in the cabin. Several games are available in the bottom compartment of the hutch.

We provide the necessary equipment for the barbeque (grill, charcoal, lighter fluid, and utensils) all we ask is that you clean the barbeque before leaving. There will be a $50.00 charge if the barbeque is not cleaned.

This is a nonsmoking house, however, smoking and ashtrays are allowed on the front and back decks.

Dogs that do not shed are welcomed for a fee of $25. We ask that the dogs stay off of the furniture. There is a safety gate on the back patio for your dog's protection.

This cozy cabin is nestled in the heart of Graeagle. Located in the peaceful and walkable Subdivision One. Just a short stroll to the scenic Mill Pond, coffee, ice cream, grocery store, restaurant, bar, boutiques and downtown. Minutes from golf, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, fine dining and all that the Lost Sierra offers. Our spacious 2460 sq ft 3 bed 2 bath home features ample living space, a new deck and a tranquil setting.

This home sleeps 6 adults MAX- 8 people total.

Primary bedroom with Cal King bed, en-suite bathroom with double vanities, a large walk in closet that features twin sized bunk beds for the kiddos, and access to the deck. (PLEASE follow the 60 lb MAX weight limit for each bunk bed- these are for children only.)

2 additional large spare bedrooms with queen beds.

Hallway bathroom has a large vanity and shower over tub.

Hallway boasts a cozy pine wrapped seating nook.

Two living areas, separated by a unique rock and stone fireplace. One equipped with a large sectional couch and TV with Roku. The other with a sofa and additional seating.

Custom built-in copper topped wet bar for cocktail hour with sink and ample seating. Bar seating for 4.

Our Yonkalla Retreat is conveniently located near the quaint hamlet of Graeagle and just up the street from Graeagle Meadows Golf Course. Great restaurants, shops, a wine bar and breweries are a short drive away. This quiet neighborhood is ideal for leisurely walks through the neighborhood trails.

Our home is spacious and comfortable. Try out the recliner in the master bedroom for reading and putting your feet up. Or take a snooze on the couch with one of the many throws to keep you comfy.

The well stocked kitchen allows many ‘cooking in’ opportunities with friends or family. BBQ instead? No problem. We have one ready for your use. The new backyard patio offers plenty of seating with two tables, two chaise lounges and a comfortable hammock for a mid afternoon shady nap.

Other conveniences include laundry, high speed wifi and a smart t.v. for streaming your favorite shows. We have a small selection of books and several games to enjoy if you choose.

Our mountain home is situated on almost an acre of land and is nestled along Fraizer Creek where you can sit on the spacious deck and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the creek and nature.

Our mountain retreat is 2500 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.  The space is the perfect blend of cabin charm and modern amenities, with soaring vaulted ceilings with beautiful picture windows to enjoy the open wooded area surrounding the property.  This home has air conditioning for those warm summer days. Use of our pool is included with your reservation.

Some of the features of this home include:

The kitchen features a new refrigerator and dishwasher.  
A gas Viking range has the capability to please even the most demanding of chefs.  
Dining room table seats 6 comfortably with additional seating for 4 at the large kitchen counter.

Second bedroom on the main level features a king size bed and full bathroom.
Upstairs is a loft which is a perfect space to relax or read your favorite book.  This area has a queen sofa bed, with beautiful views to the back of the property.  
Also, upstairs you will find the third bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a twin bed, and its own full bathroom.

Home is just minutes away from the tennis/pickleball courts and is centrally located to several golf courses and restaurants!

We have a smart TV and a netflix account for the house; you can also use your own Hulu, HBO, etc account. (Note: we do not have cable TV stations).

There is an front game room setup with foosball, board games, bean bag baseball to enjoy friends and family - the couch also doubles as a queen size hide-a-bed. A dining room with enough room for 10 people. Our family room is big and roomy with a fireplace to relax in those cold sierra nights. Our backyard is fenced (perfect for you Doggo) with fairy lights, ping pong, corn hole, outdoor Connect 4, and a hammock to relax the day away.
