Located in historic Chester, this beautiful home sports a lawn play area with a rustic creek running through the side yard and views of the mountains.

There are three bedrooms suitable for three couples and one single bedroom good for kids and adults that want a little independence. The living room has a sofa bed that sleeps two, a wood stove, a table for playing board games and a large sectional couch. The updated kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils and the dining table can accommodate up to ten guest.

The downstairs cowboy master bedroom has a king size bed and a on-suite bathroom with a shower. Next to the kitchen is the downstairs second bathroom with a shower and an oversized bathtub. Upstairs has a second master bedroom, two smaller ones and a ½ bathroom. When the house is full, eight guests can sleep in the four bedrooms and two guests can sleep in the pull-out couch in the living room. The nocturnal ones can hang out in the kitchen dining area away from all the sleeping guest.

The space is equipped with an outdoor barbecue, linens, laundry facilities, DVDs, Internet, TV with Netflix and You Tube, books, board games, children’s items, picnic supplies, a wood stove, and lots of other goodies to make many memories.

This cabin is located on Lake Almanor West's Golf Course 3rd hole green with a beautiful pond and fountain right out the back deck! Also, while off the front deck you can view the beautiful Lake Almanor. The boat launch is less than a mile a way and so is the big recreation center with bocce ball, bbq's, children's playground, volleyball, basketball and more.

This two story home has vaulted ceilings, a gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar, open great room, fireplace, surround sound stereo system throughout the upstairs. There is a primary bedroom with a king bed on the main level and two other bedrooms on the lower level with queen beds. Built in 2008 and nestled among huge pine and fir trees, you will enjoy views of the lake sitting on the balcony while you grill a steak or sip wine in this private setting. The lake is located several hundred feet across a beautiful meadow in front of the house. We often have bald eagles and osprey soaring over the bay and perching in the trees by the house and deer feeding in the meadow.
Walk along the lake or take our canoe or the kayak for an evening paddle around Goose Bay. The house is conveniently located less than a mile walk to the west Almanor Park recreation beach complete with a big grassy play area, shady pine trees and a sandy beach. It also has a playground for kids and usually has a vollyball net set up. Approximately one mile away you will find the private boat launch and paved walking and bike trails. A spectacular West Lake Almanor public golf course is located less than a mile from the house. You will also find the tennis and pickleball courts right down the street on Slim Drive as you drive to the golf course. The home is 5 miles from the town of Chester where quaint shops, restaurants, and an awesome, fully stocked local grocery store, Holiday Market, can be found.
This home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a loft with two single beds for children or young adults. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a smart TV. The house is perfect for 2 couples, or families with children. as the loft has lots of kids toys and the Goose Bay is right across from the house.

- "The view from the living room/deck makes this place worth it. Looking at Mt. Lassen glowing with the first rays of the sun over Lake Almanor while drinking our morning coffee was just amazing. Great location, very easy access from Hwy 89, but we never really noticed any highway noise. Our only complaint was not so much the house but the description, the main bedrooms and baths are upstairs while the lower level is just the laundry room and the murphy bed/bathroom. Also you have go through the main bedroom to reach the loft which could be a little awkward in certain situations. None of this would have prevented us from enjoying this property and we would absolutely stay here again."

We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous. As always, all towels, sheets, blankets, etc are bleached after each stay, we disinfect all counters, floors, and bathrooms, and we sanitize all door handles, etc. Anything with a high touch point is disinfected multiple times before guests check-in and after guests checks out.

The location is walking distance to most of the good coffee places in Chester. The house wifi worked really well too. Our time there was really peaceful."
