- "We went to Lassen Volcanic Park in late May but couldn’t see a lot due to the extra snow this year. Luckily, we chose the right homestay and were able to entertain ourselves mostly indoors over a long weekend. In the fully equipped kitchen, we have ease in cooking for two gourmet breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners. We didn’t use the outdoor grill but could picture the fun of a barbecue feast. The jacuzzi room is clean and luxurious. The hot tub is big enough for six people and the sauna next to it is a lovely bonus. This is exactly what we need after long driving. We had a great movie night in the antique dining room with high ceiling. The bedrooms are cute and cozy. It is also very attentive of the host to provide kitchen towels in the bathrooms. It helps us to keep the bathrooms hygienic for a big group of people. The game room is a huge plus. My friends spent hours playing billiards while I have fun playing darts. There is no Wifi provided which we thought was inconvenient but it turned out we actually did not need the internet to enjoying ourselves in the mountains. I would recommend more illumination in the rooms, but I think it’s a personal style. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Hosts are friendly and responsive. We recommend it to any groups looking for a homestay near Lassen. "

This single story home is a very spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with living room and family room. It has a full kitchen with electric cook top, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. Washer and dryer are located in the garage. The house has central heat and air conditioning.
All three bedrooms are large, and all three have queen size beds.
We have just completed a meticulous paint job, and I have installed new plush carpeting in all three bedrooms and living room. The kitchen/family room has laminate floors.
Please, no smoking (anything), no pets, and no candle burning.

Handy Downtown Red Bluff location across from the post office on Walnut St only one block from Main St. High ceilings with views of downtown, furnished with new furniture and pillow top mattress on queen bed. Scoot the large ottoman close to the sectional for additional sleeping area with provided bedding. Since the unit is conveniently located downtown, be aware that you may experience traffic noise from the street, music from a bar/dance hall, as well as the nearby train overnight.

- "This was a freshly accessorized, large apartment. It was easy to contact the owners and they were available, immediately, when we had a brief issue with the tv. It was corrected quickly and is not an issue." - "I did choose the coldest two weeks to stay here, the heat was a little on the low side. However the blanks on the bed were thick and warm so over all the cold wasn't so bad. It was nice to have a kitchen and most of the good places to eat were within walking distance. Located a few miles from the town of Red Bluff but still convenient enough to the I-5 and all the amenities of town. Our sunrises and sunsets are extremely beautiful. With full views of Mt.Shasta and Mt.Lassen, we are just far enough out of town to enjoy the quiet and stars in the evening. The Sacramento River is less than 5 miles away with plenty of outdoor activities as well as museums and the Sacramento River discovery center only a few miles away.

Our studio ranch suite is newly updated and shares views of surrounding pastures and distant mountain ranges. This unit is ideal for traveling professionals for privacy, safety and serenity while still close to town.

The suite consists of a well decorated studio apartment complete with a California King bed, luxury bedding, a full kitchen stocked with dishes, appliances, as well as coffee and tea for our guests! There is a covered private patio with seating, lights, a bbq and a view of the western hills. The apartment also has a washer and dryer for your use.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nicely appointed this home was: Nice kitchen with basic pots, pans and dishes as well as towels, salt/pepper; Keurig machine with k-cups and bottles of water; a traditional coffee pot with filters, washer/dryer with two pods for the washer; plenty of towels and blankets; fenced in back yard. Really a nice place to stay. I had some last minute questions and McKenna, the host, was super quick to get back to me and just made this first experience with VRBO a really good experience! When you compare this home to a hotel, or even to a hotel suite with extra space, this is a much better option. The privacy of a home with two tv's, the space of two bedrooms, a big living room with a nice newer couch, a big enough table to eat at! While it only has one bathroom (which is an issue with a teenage daughter!), we had no problem making it all work."
