- "Was on a business trip lots of construction tools the owner help me unload my tools into the room showed up late was tired will definitely stay here again" - "Room was generally clean in an older motel. Had the full range of gadgets: microwave, toaster oven/coffee maker, fridge, cable TV, iron and board, hair dryer. One office type chair, queen bed. The sheets had the feel of fresh but not washed or pressed, towels were OK. Pillows were small, one soft, 2 firm. The floors creaked underfoot and were soft in spots due to broken/rotten floor boards. The toilet had a leaky valve and cycled every 5 minutes or so, loudly. Not much noise from adjacent and upstairs rooms. This was during the Solar Eclipse weekend, and other hotels had also raised their rates even as far away as The Dalles, but I feel like I overpaid for what I got. I'm not sure Expedia got me a bargain on this one."

- "We went to Lassen Volcanic Park in late May but couldn’t see a lot due to the extra snow this year. Luckily, we chose the right homestay and were able to entertain ourselves mostly indoors over a long weekend. In the fully equipped kitchen, we have ease in cooking for two gourmet breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners. We didn’t use the outdoor grill but could picture the fun of a barbecue feast. The jacuzzi room is clean and luxurious. The hot tub is big enough for six people and the sauna next to it is a lovely bonus. This is exactly what we need after long driving. We had a great movie night in the antique dining room with high ceiling. The bedrooms are cute and cozy. It is also very attentive of the host to provide kitchen towels in the bathrooms. It helps us to keep the bathrooms hygienic for a big group of people. The game room is a huge plus. My friends spent hours playing billiards while I have fun playing darts. There is no Wifi provided which we thought was inconvenient but it turned out we actually did not need the internet to enjoying ourselves in the mountains. I would recommend more illumination in the rooms, but I think it’s a personal style. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Hosts are friendly and responsive. We recommend it to any groups looking for a homestay near Lassen. "

This single story home is a very spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with living room and family room. It has a full kitchen with electric cook top, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. Washer and dryer are located in the garage. The house has central heat and air conditioning.
All three bedrooms are large, and all three have queen size beds.
We have just completed a meticulous paint job, and I have installed new plush carpeting in all three bedrooms and living room. The kitchen/family room has laminate floors.

Since the unit is conveniently located downtown, be aware that you may experience traffic noise from the street, music from a bar/dance hall, as well as the nearby train overnight.

Located a few miles from the town of Red Bluff but still convenient enough to the I-5 and all the amenities of town. Our sunrises and sunsets are extremely beautiful. With full views of Mt.Shasta and Mt.Lassen, we are just far enough out of town to enjoy the quiet and stars in the evening. The Sacramento River is less than 5 miles away with plenty of outdoor activities as well as museums and the Sacramento River discovery center only a few miles away.

- "The house was great" - "Overall we had a great stay at this property. However, I do think this property has some room for improvement. Communication with the owner, instructional videos, etc. were all great. However, when we arrived at the house the floor was covered in dead bugs. Clearly they had just sprayed (appreciated!) but no one came by to clean up before guests arrived. We had a large group, 6 adults and 4 kids; there were only 5 bath towels in the whole house (frustrating). Also, good luck relaxing in the house, there's a two person couch, and small chair, and then only barstools and dining table chairs. Minimal kitchen basics, and normal "home" comforts. Just some things to take in to consideration before staying. Still, overall a nice house, just would've appreciated more cleanliness and basic amenities. "

When you enter the property from the Highway 44 please take a left and follow the gravel road until the private parking spot. A short walkway leads to the entrance of the vacation rental. We will provide a code to open the door and you enter the community room from where all 4 bedrooms can be accessed.

We do not allow smoking and pets on our property. Everything else is complimentary and you do not have to pay any additional fees.
