Breakfast was yummy but only included for 2 of the 4 people staying in our room which seemed a bit of a bummer really, and we had not been informed of that in our reservation. Oh well, lost opportunity but no big deal as Starbucks was right down the street for the two who didn't get to eat. Rooms are small, but beds are great, so quiet inside we hardly knew anyone else was there. We did not use the garage parking because of the holiday you could park right on the street. Most of these things are just because of the age of the motel. Pool area was clean and fun for the teenage boys to play in. There are a few stores right in the same parking lot to pick up any items you may need. Motel is right off the freeway so very convenient. Motel was full with firefighters, that were away 90% of the time we were there. No smoke from the fire, as it was blowing north of our location. I would stay here again if the need arose."
