Our charming, second story studio is located in one of Visalia’s most coveted neighborhoods, just off Highway 198, with no shared walls. Walk to restaurants, coffee spots, bars, and retail shops in the Central Valley’s best downtown scene.

The studio is above our detached garage—we live in the main house with our two cats and little dog. Since the studio has a bird's eye view of the darling homes around us, we honestly feel it's the best space on our property.

The space
Born and raised in the Central Valley, we absolutely love California and refuse to take our Golden State for granted—hence, the inspiration behind the space's décor.

The studio is comprised of a main room, kitchen, walk-through closet, and bathroom. Some notes about the space:

- WiFi in the studio has its own router.
- Protected by Ring flood light and camera.
- Furnished with essentials: single bed, dresser, desk with chair, sofa, console with TV, coffee table, and dining table with benches.
- Kitchen has a full-size refrigerator and oven with stove (no dishwasher).
- Stacked washer/dryer unit is located in the closet area.

Other things to note
As a separate space, the studio is privately accessible from the alley adjacent the entrance. Guests have access to the parking space just off the alley, the staircase leading up the studio entrance, and the studio itself.

- Private, gated stairs lead up to the studio entrance—stairs are fenced off from view of the main house.
- A single, secluded parking space is located in front of the stair gate.
- Additional parking is available on the street.

The space
We welcome you to our little city close to beautiful Sequoia National Park, California. You will get the chance to drive up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, make a pit stop on your way to Yosemite National park, or hang out and walk/bike around Downtown Visalia!

Before you book remember:
1. There are two airbnbs in this property, this studio (located in the back) and a small home (located as the front house).
2. We are located in a older neighborhood - but very close to downtown Visalia and Grocery Stores
3. This is a small custom cozy studio. Not modern.
4 . We are a home not hotel.

National Parks Distance:
We are 30 minutes driving distance from the south entrance (Generals Highway) to Sequoia, 5 min bike ride or 10 min walk to the best restaurants in downtown! (I will mention- Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks are very big, it will take 1.5 hours from our home to get to the General Sherman Tree area and 2 hours to General Grant Area, and ~3 hours to Yosemite Valley)

About our studio:
We would love to share our "Earthy Studio" detached from our home (located in the back - access through front gate in a shared property), with all of those that would like to experience a nice, cozy, clean, & comfortable stay! Our studio is a cozy, earthy, rustic, minimal, adventurer space that will make you feel miles away from the routines in our daily lives. We have replaced our mini-split this past winter, so you can cool off in the studio during the hot summer days! It has new and vintage furniture. One Queen bed and one twin pull-out bed from sofa. Clean and cozy bedding, and LOTS of plants! :)
This unique studio offers a mini-fridge for your meals if needed, a microwave, toaster, complimentary coffee, teas, anything you need...we probably have!
The bathroom is very simple as you can see in the picture, very cute and clean shower (No Tub) and sink/toilet (please be aware that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the best place for you). All of our guests will have complimentary toiletries in case they forget.

Downtown Visalia is less than 1 mile away. You can bike, walk, run, drive and be there in less than 10 mins. There are tons of delicious restaurants, a fabulous movie theater, thrift stores, antique shops, plant stores, music venues, 2 Beer Gardens, and more brew pubs. We also have a tourist information center, Visit Visalia...but we will be providing you with all the TIPS and secrets to Visalia & all THREE National Parks.

Neighborhood:
I would like to share and remind all those who are interested in our studio to please have in mind that we are not in the nicest neighborhood. Unfortunately the homeless population has gotten worse since the pandemic and we have a couple of homes on our street where they like to hang out or walk to the near by park.
We were living in the front home for six years, before moving and we've hosted in our home since 2019 with no issues from the homeless, ever. My goal is to ensure every guest feels at home and secure during their stay. Please consider other airbnbs if you are not comfortable to stay in an older neighborhood. We're 40 minutes to the Sequoia National Park! Conveniently located to SR-99 and SR-198. (GATEWAY TO SEQUOIAS) We're in a private safe neighborhood that will instantly transport you to the country side! The studio apartment is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. In the morning enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from our coffee bar on your private patio, the afternoon cooling off at the pool (pool towels included) and the evening relaxing with a glass of wine enjoying the sunset!

Our private neighborhood is a little hidden unexpected gem! We're in the city but it feels more like the country. Once inside the private studio apartment indulge in the comfort and tranquility of the clean, calm, neutral décor. It is a lovely space to unwind and relax after a busy day at the Sequoia National Forest, or after a wedding or family reunion. The full kitchen is complete with fridge, range, dishwasher dinnerware and cookware. The large bathroom features a peaceful blend of neutral shades with beautiful natural light. The washer and dryer is located in the bathroom.

The private patio includes a gas BBQ, dining table and furniture to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset. The room overlooks a large spacious yard with a trampoline for the children to burn off energy. Our fenced pool is located on the other end of the yard. The pool area has lounge chairs, umbrellas and a fire pit for you to enjoy. (The wood and fuel for the fire pit are available upon request. ) Pool floats are also at your disposal. Our small fruit tree orchard is just behind the pool area and our guests are encouraged to take fruit from any of our trees that are in season!

Drive slowly and cautiously as you drive through the neighborhood and prepare for speed bumps. There are children and pets at play. We're located in the back in front of the barn. It is the two story green house. You'll park in front of the garage on the RIGHT side of the driveway. Walk through the black iron gate next to the garage. Your entrance is on the right side. Other things to note
We have two dogs that are not allowed in our guest’s area. Willow is busy Border Collie and August is an Australian Shepard. They’re still very young and playful so we do not want them to intrude in your space. They very well might try to herd you about the yard so we’ll avoid that. They will bark at you a bit through the fence but we’ll work hard to keep that from happening and bring them in the house. 🤗🐶🤗

The space
Conveniently located near Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, and the Tulare Ag Center (International Agri-Center) this is a prime rental for family trips, the Ag Show, graduations, holidays, or other family gatherings. Located in the northeast Visalia area on a quiet county road. The Sequoia Park entrance is a scenic and enjoyable 60 minute drive from the property.

The outdoor space is the perfect setting for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The patio and view allow for a space to unwind and relax. The large bedroom is furnished with a cozy king bed and French doors that lead to a private patio area to enjoy coffee, snacks or cocktails. The living area features a gas fireplace and bar area with microwave, Keurig, sink, and small sub-zero refrigerator. There is a pull out couch in the living room area. The guesthouse sits behind the main property with a private and gated entry with onsite parking.

This residence can comfortably fit 4 people.

"The Manor" is a 100 year old villa in Greenacres Neighborhood, near Visalia Country Club. This guesthouse is within walking distance to a vibrant downtown with restaurants, shops, nightlife, theaters, and baseball stadium. The space includes a private backyard. After a day of hiking in Sequoia National Park, private laundry facilities are available for your use. A Keurig with coffee and tea is also provided. Wi-Fi is included. There is a SMART wi-fi connected television.

*Just 3 blocks from the Rawhide Baseball stadium. Catch a professional single A baseball game and stay for the fireworks...great date night or family fun afternoon.
*Hop on the freeway and you're 30 minutes to Lake Kaweah or 1 hour to the gates of Sequoia National Park.

WiFi access is available. The WiFi signal is not super strong and will not accommodate gaming platforms of any kind. Do not book this property if you need wifi access more than surfing the Internet on a laptop or phone. I will not be able to accommodate gaming platforms.

I am always willing to consider a special request, and sometimes dates can be made available even though they are not showing! Just reach out and we can chat.

Stays longer than 1 week will require an additional cleaning fee. The unit is cleaned weekly, which includes new bedsheets and fresh towels. You will be requested to pay the $100 additional cleaning fee each week.

Please arrange an arrival time period 1 day prior to arrival. My schedule is very busy so it is helpful if I have a meeting time to let you in!
