This is Provence (Long Canyon Studios in the SY Valley) and a little piece of paradise on the top of a hill that draws your stare 360 degrees and 24/7. We are a few minutes, and the drive is spectacular, from the best restaurants, wineries and attractions of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Ballard, Solvang, Buellton, Los Alamos and the wine country of the SY Valley, but we are a world away from the hustle, bustle and noise. Except, of course, for noises from the world class thoroughbred horses, the sheep, the goats, the donkeys, the Lammas, the Texas Long Horns, the Brahma bulls and the fuzzy Alpacas.

You are in exclusive Oak Trail Estates and on Long Canyon road but you haven’t even entered our gate yet! As you enter your code and gates slowly open, you start to feel the energy build and the life of the property that we call Long Canyon Ranch. You drive up an enchanting, paved, slightly windy road and at the top you see our Long Canyon Studios perched on the hill between two massive Oaks with stunning views all round you. You are now in Mykonos! We offer an immaculate, adorable and fully stocked 2 bedroom 1100 square foot mid-mod Mediterranean adobe home for your getaway stay. It has been completely renovated and made new inside and out. There is nothing missing in our home from air conditioning to a stocked wine fridge. From the gourmet kitchen with Zia Tile backsplash, Café appliances including 6-burner gas stove, custom built massive island, modern furniture, sleepy comfortable beds with pressed high thread-count linens, the SAMSUNG FRAME TV, the CUSTOM JAPANDI BARN DOORS, the boho rattan hanging chairs on the deck facing the most breath-taking views. Just outside the mahogany wood front doors you will find the big white picnic table under the twin Oaks where you will be sipping Canyon Coffee in your parachute robes or enjoying a full table lunch feast of local wines and cheeses. Our house has 300 feet of fabulous, old-world, flagstone pathway circling it and accessing the natural landscape. Hardwood poplar board lines the roof while the pink-white pebbles glisten around the stone walkway below. Beauty everywhere you look as the lavender and grasses and fruit trees bend in the wind. Imagine waking up to the sunrise forming the early light and then blazing into vibrant colors (or close the blackout blinds and sleep in :), see the early fog burn off and then endless blue sky through the day softened by fascinating puffy cloud formations, picture heart-stoping sunsets at dusk and infinite stars and clusters at night. You may not want to leave the property. You are in Santa Ynez Valley on the top the Los Olivos foothills. The beauty, peace, serenity and seclusion is exquisite. Several ocean beaches are within 30 minutes, world class golf 15 minutes and shopping and attractions 10 minutes. The view alone from every direction of the property and at any time of day is truly remarkable, but the sunsets are where the vibe starts. Jade and Chelsea set up such a welcoming ambiance upon our arrival, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay but from a distance. The bungalow is incredibly well decorated and stocked with any kitchen item you may need. The entire space feels new and not used, is well maintained, updated and very clean. Instructions for what they expect of you are reasonable and well communicated. It is close driving distance to so many fun tourist attractions and restaurants. Also the wildlife and cattle throughout the community was so fun to experience. This is truly the perfect place to decompress, relax, slow down and enjoy the view. We will be going back! "

If you want charming, look no further. Our home is relaxing the second you walk in. The great room has a seating area overlooking the pond and the Santa Ynez mountains. There is a full kitchen and dining area with a pool table and large screen TV so you can relax or play a game of pool. The two bedrooms are equal in size and each have their own bathroom. The enclosed porch has a washer and dryer, we have a printer and a desk so you could work. At night take in the stars with a glass of wine on the outdoor deck, or cozy up to a fire and have a seat on the Adirondack chairs. We are behind the Summerset farm stand in case you need any treats and we are centrally located, yet worlds away from it all. Explore nearby Ballard, and visit Bob's Well Bread, or head over to Santa Ynez town and enjoy lunch at the Baker's Table. Meander the streets after to find quaint boutiques and coffee shops. You're only a few miles to Los Olives where you could try some wine tasting and shopping. Los Olives Grocery has some gifts and small town market feel and our bigger market El Rancho is close by. If you like cooking our kitchen is up to date and modern, with top of the line appliances. Come and enjoy what Santa Ynez has to offer and kick up your feet at the pond house.

Casa Del Toro is ideally situated in the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley, in the quaint historical town of Los Olivos. Lined with turn of the century Victorian Architecture and old growth Oaks, Los Olivos hearkens to a bygone era. The only difference today is you can now embrace the unhurried pace and peaceful vibe while sampling award winning wines, a variety of top notch restaurants, and boundless opportunities to explore. This place is like the Napa and Sonoma of 30 years ago...but without the crowds and pretense.

Casa Del Toro is situated on a beautifully landscaped 1/4 acre, just steps from numerous tasting rooms, restaurants, and galleries. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath retreat is perfect for couples and adult family gatherings.

Living Room/Dining : When you enter the front door, the country feel is unmistakable, From the high ceilings and Hickory wood plank floors to the California country decor, this room sets a relaxed tone. There is ample comfy seating for 6-8 as well as an inviting fireplace adjacent from the country pine dining table.. There is also a 60" LED Smart TV for "Movie Night".

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen is located off the living/dining area and is exposed to the fire place as well. (6 burner gas cooktop, double oven, toaster, micowave, coffee machine/grinder)

Master Bedroom: The master bedroom has a king size bed, in suite full bath, and opens to the front patio. The Master is located directly to the left when you enter the front door, while the other two bedrooms are across the house. This provides nice privacy and separation.

Bedroom #2 and #3 are located off the dining area. Step down into a small vestibule and you will find bedroom 2 to the left and bedroom 3 to the right. The full "jack and Jill" bathroom is located between the bedrooms. Bedroom 2 and 3 each have a Queen sized bed. Bedroom # 2 has a slider to the back patio.

The large lower flagstone patio with outdoor kitchen, string lighting and custom fire pit caters to those joyous gatherings the wine country is known for.

When we first arrived we were greeted by goats, llamas, and horses, which in my opinion was a wonderful welcome. The property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and decorated throughout. You can tell the owner, Jen really put her time and special touch to make the cottage feel like a special getaway for guests. She was so attentive to all our needs/requests, but still maintained a sense of privacy. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and property, there were special treats when we arrived, including a complimentary bottle of wine, delicious manchego cheese, and a basketful of various snacks. The refrigerator was also stocked with drinks, wine, and, our favorite, farm eggs! Although the kitchen is compact we made several meals during our stay with no problem at all and used the grill to cook dinners and roast some fresh vegetables we picked up from Finley Farms just down the road. The location is perfect and central to Santa Ynez Valley wineries, as well as dining options. We visited many wineries throughout the weekend and our furthest drive was under 30 minutes. Although the property is close to everything it’s still private and quiet. We took morning runs and enjoyed passing by farms, horses, grapevines, and other stunning properties. We had an amazing few days and can’t wait to visit Anavo Farm again soon!"

This well-designed apartment with its private coded entry offers comfort and convenience whether you want to stay in and relax or take a quick walk to the town's renowned wine tasting scene just a few minutes away on foot. Inside this sweet studio you'll find a welcoming lower level queen bedroom and two separate raised areas: one with a tub/shower combo bathroom and the other a lounge area with a convenient counter and sink area including a mini fridge, microwave and a full stash of coffee-making equipment including K-Pod. Much of the art and furnishings were designed and handcrafted by the hosts incorporating deconstructed oak barrels to give it a one-of-a-kind wine country feel.

Outside you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of our lush back yard relaxing under the shade of two gorgeous mulberry trees in a semi-private outdoor sitting area complete with a mini propane fire pit for those chilly valley nights. While the hosts live in the front house and sometimes walk through the back yard, guests will typically have it to themselves - especially in the evenings. Feel free to wander out by car to enjoy the beautiful rolling hills of the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley and all it has to offer (wineries, casino, hiking and biking and Solvang "The Danish Capital of America" to name a few). Welcome to a gorgeous Los Olivos private gated hideaway walkable to the downtown area and tasting rooms. This is the ideal California wine country sanctuary to sip delicious wine and relax with a loved one or take an overdue solo self-care adventure.

This rental is not for the entire home. It is a private bedroom, bathroom, jacuzzi, and garden within the home. Guests do not have access to the living room or kitchen. It has a separate entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house, but it is not a detached unit. It shares a wall with the rest of the home, but is extremely quiet and private.

You will wake up in a king bed to the lovely sound of morning birds as you step into a large private garden with fruit and olive trees, outdoor dining table and a meditation area.

Oh and don't forget the private jacuzzi cleaned after every stay!

THE SPACE

The home is right behind the new Auberge Mattei's Tavern, but less than half the price per night and much more private! The entire property is gated and very secure. The room is not a detached unit. You will have your own entrance. The space is extremely quiet and private and has no access to the rest of the house. The garden and jacuzzi are also private. The host lives on the opposite side of the large house.

You will enjoy a very high end King Size mattress, linen sheets, organic cotton towels, a mini-fridge to store wine and beverages, high speed wi-fi, and a wall mounted TV with premium cable and every streaming service.

Other amenities include central air and heat.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. You agree to not use the internet/wifi for any illegal activity.

This clean, well-appointed upstairs studio at Casa Rivera, is steps from the vibrant Los Olivos wine tasting scene (we have lots of 5 star reviews of our other "Sweet Queen Retreat" downstairs space on the same property). The 560 sq ft studio has a king size bed and sleeper sofa, two private decks, and a kitchenette with sink and fridge and lots ways to make coffee. With all the other thoughtful details we are known for, your stay is sure to be memorable.

This spacious studio is ideal for two people but can accommodate three between a king bed and a futon-style sleeper sofa (complete with a mattress topper and bedding tucked away in the closet until it’s used). With its open plan format the king bed is adjacent to a separate lounge area with a 55” TV so it can be easily viewed anywhere in the space. A long chaise sits in the corner by the window for comfy reading and napping. The kitchenette has a sink, mini-fridge with freezer and is equipped with lots of things to make coffee - french press, pour over, single serve 12 cup brewed, bean grinder, frother, as well as half n half and Nut Pods creamer in the fridge. There is also an 18-bottle wine fridge to take care of those treasures you bring home from a day of tasting. The bathroom has a shower tub combo and there is a built in dresser should you be coming for more than a couple nights.
