This is Provence (Long Canyon Studios in the SY Valley) and a little piece of paradise on the top of a hill that draws your stare 360 degrees and 24/7. It has been completely renovated and made new inside and out. There is nothing missing in our home from air conditioning to a stocked wine fridge. From the gourmet kitchen with Zia Tile backsplash, Café appliances including 6-burner gas stove, custom built massive island, modern furniture, sleepy comfortable beds with pressed high thread-count linens, the SAMSUNG FRAME TV, the CUSTOM JAPANDI BARN DOORS, the boho rattan hanging chairs on the deck facing the most breath-taking views. Just outside the mahogany wood front doors you will find the big white picnic table under the twin Oaks where you will be sipping Canyon Coffee in your parachute robes or enjoying a full table lunch feast of local wines and cheeses. The view alone from every direction of the property and at any time of day is truly remarkable, but the sunsets are where the vibe starts. Jade and Chelsea set up such a welcoming ambiance upon our arrival, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay but from a distance. The bungalow is incredibly well decorated and stocked with any kitchen item you may need. The entire space feels new and not used, is well maintained, updated and very clean. Instructions for what they expect of you are reasonable and well communicated. It is close driving distance to so many fun tourist attractions and restaurants. Also the wildlife and cattle throughout the community was so fun to experience. This is truly the perfect place to decompress, relax, slow down and enjoy the view. We will be going back! "

If you want charming, look no further. Our home is relaxing the second you walk in. The great room has a seating area overlooking the pond and the Santa Ynez mountains. There is a full kitchen and dining area with a pool table and large screen TV so you can relax or play a game of pool. The two bedrooms are equal in size and each have their own bathroom. The enclosed porch has a washer and dryer, we have a printer and a desk so you could work. At night take in the stars with a glass of wine on the outdoor deck, or cozy up to a fire and have a seat on the Adirondack chairs. We are behind the Summerset farm stand in case you need any treats and we are centrally located, yet worlds away from it all. Explore nearby Ballard, and visit Bob's Well Bread, or head over to Santa Ynez town and enjoy lunch at the Baker's Table. Meander the streets after to find quaint boutiques and coffee shops. You're only a few miles to Los Olives where you could try some wine tasting and shopping. Los Olives Grocery has some gifts and small town market feel and our bigger market El Rancho is close by. If you like cooking our kitchen is up to date and modern, with top of the line appliances. Come and enjoy what Santa Ynez has to offer and kick up your feet at the pond house.

La Petite Maison is a French country-style cottage nestled in the midst of a newly planted lavender farm* in the Santa Ynez Valley in California. Welcome! Our beautiful cottage is just a short 10 minute walk to the center of Los Olivos. Drive through the gates of our private 5 acre ranch, past the corrals, up the tree lined drive and enter our renovated cottage. The cottage used to be a hunting cabin back in the 1960's and still retains all of it's charm.
Enter into the living area with thick log walls where you'll find hardwood floors and a gas fireplace that open onto a dining area with a huge bay window. There's a complete kitchen with dark granite counters and marble floors, and a laundry/pantry room with your own washer & dryer. Tucked near the stairs is a fully equipped, renovated bathroom with a big, tiled shower and large fluffy towels. Off the dining area, there's a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and views of the garden. Wander up the staircase and you will discover the perfect master-suite. Light the fireplace and sink into the queen size bed with down comforter for a fabulous night's sleep. Just steps away is the bathroom complete with a Jacuzzi tub framed by Carrara marble.
The front deck has a porch swing and a wrought-iron table & chairs with a BBQ around the side. Across the yard is a picnic table under bistro lights if you prefer to dine al fresco.
For entertainment, the cottage has a 32 inch flatscreen TV in the living area with a Roku box that has Netflix and Amazon (no live tv/cable).
There's a dedicated Wifi network covering all of the house and grounds.

Cyclists are welcome! Los Olivos is a haven for cyclists. You can stash your bikes in our bike garage and if you need tools or air, we can help.

The cottage is a short 1/2 mile from the town of Los Olivos. It is situated up on a hill surrounded by huge mature trees, and an occasional inquisitive horse in the nearby pastures. You won't see any streetlights here. Close enough to pop into town but totally secluded for your privacy. SLEEPS 4 MAX.

Charming Santa Ynez farmhouse. The farmhouse is situated on 4 acres and shared with dogs, cats, goats, geese, turkeys, tortoise, horses and chickens! We are on the property as well and in our own space. We can have as much or as little interaction as you would like.

The farmhouse is for two adults only, sorry no children.
You have approximately 750sf. with 2 separate sleeping areas to choose from. One is in the bedroom with a king size bed and the other is located in the living room. It is a cubby that has a queen size mattress in it. It is very cozy!
Kitchen amenities include, stove/oven, fridge, sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, blender and all the service ware you need! A Samsung 42" flat screen tv with Directv premium channels is provided for your viewing. A full bath with a shower and tub awaits you. There is also a workspace if you need to do some work while here. The place is airy and bright with lots of windows and doors to let in the natural light.
French doors open to a lovely private brick outdoor patio with BBQ, table & chairs and two lounge chairs. The patio/backyard faces a vegetable garden and is very private . During the day we have free roaming animals that you may encounter. We let the hens out about 7 or 8:00 am as they have an automatic door and they go to bed at dusk. The hens can make noise when laying an egg. We let the roosters out of the coop around 8:00am and they free range as well. The coop is out in a field away from the farmhouse by our barn and the roosters have a little sound proofing around where they sleep. But this is the country and you may hear ours and other neighbors roosters crowing or other animals. We also have pygmy goats, a dog 35 pounds, tortoise, geese, turkeys and horses along with ourselves on the property. This is a farm with animals that can make noises. There is an and pm feedings, it's a farm if animals are not your thing than we are not for you...
The farmhouse is for the paid guests only that book, no other sleep overs or other guests brought for entertaining etc. Booked/paid guests only. Sorry NO children or pets TWO GUESTS ONLY

We are located 2.5 miles from Los Olivos and downtown Santa Ynez. Santa Barbara is about 30 miles and Lake Cachuma is 13. The Danish town of Solvang is about 4 miles away. We are very close to some great winerys, Roblar, Beckman, & Bridlewood to name a few.

We do have wifi but it is satellite. It does allow you to do your basic internet searches and check email it is through a satellite dish which is the only option offered. This is nothing we can change as there are no other options offered in our location.

When weather and time permits bath and bed linens are dried on a clothes line.

Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am.

We do not do one night stays, sorry.

Parking is on our property in front of our garage for two cars. If you bring two cars please park one behind the other.

During rainy winter months outdoor furnishings may be covered or put away for the season.

This entire Area is in the PGE (power Co) jurisdiction and the have advised when deemed fit they can cut the electricity. This inconvenience is out of of our control. It has never happened as of yet but here is a heads up incase it does there is nothing we can do about it. This is life in a rural area.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the private farmhouse and patio. Parking is shared. Guests are free to feed the chickens and pet the goats and dogs if they choose.

The Neighborhood

We are located at the end of a gravel country lane. We have working ranches around us that have horses, dogs, chickens, tractors etc. This is the country!! We are a stones throw away from Los Olivos and downtown Santa Ynez. We are also located close to some great wineries, Roblar, Beckman, & Bridlewood just to name a few.

Getting around

The best way to get around is to drive. You can hire designated drivers if you are going to be drinking or wine tour companies. There are also bicycle rentals if you are feeling ambitious.

Other Things to Note

We put fresh organic eggs, oatmeal, coffee, and tea in the cottage for your breakfast. We will provide you with half n half if requested 24 hrs in advance. The water is well water and is drinkable.

House Rules
This is a no smoking property due to fire hazards in a drought area.

The property is for paid booked guests only, no visitors, No Children, no add ons, no sleepovers, TWO GUESTS ONLY and paid guests only on property for insurance reasons no visitors.
This is a quiet area so if you come in late please be respectful of noise, especially between the quiet hours of 10p-8am. It is much appreciated.
Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am. 2 night minimum
We are in PGE jurisdiction and they have advised us when they deem fit they can cut our power/water off. No refunds/compensation for this as it is out of our hands..

Santa Barbara County CHARGES a 14% Occupancy tax that we collect. We are a certified operator through the county and are required by law to collect the occupancy tax that they charge.

This is our home, not motel 6, please be respectful of it and take care of it and keep it tidy. Your cleaning fee is for the bedding, linens and sanitizing the bathroom, the basics. You need to wash your own dishes and keep the place neat. I know for 99% of the people it is common sense and I appreciate that. This is just for those few who need it spelled out for them..

Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.

Their fresh eggs were wonderful and had hearts on them with the name of the contributing hen! We sat out back on the veranda in the evening and enjoyed visits from various furry friends. For those who decide to make a meal at home during their stay, we welcome them to harvest lettuce and herbs from our 3-acre organic farm, also on the property. Los Olivos and Surrounding Area: The 20+ tasting rooms, galleries, and restaurants, of our quaint little town, are a 10-minute walk (20-minute stroll) or a short bike ride away. We also offer complimentary cruisers. Our kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, there is a little market down the street (a 5-minute stroll). But with the world-class dining available in our area you might not want to boil water.
The Santa Ynez Valley comprises the Danish town of Solvang, the western-themed town of Santa Ynez, Ballard, Buellton, and Los Olivos. Aside from tasting the many vintages of the Santa Barbara County wines the valley offers; biking, horseback riding (in fact, if you have a horse and want to bring them, we have room for two), hiking, fishing, live theatre, movie theatre, shopping, festivals, surfing and much more. Santa Barbara is a 40-minute drive and the beach is only 30 minutes.
If you only stay two nights, you'll wish you have stayed more!

The property is surrounded by a huge gardens that were beautiful to walk through and a horse farm that made you feel even more connected with nature. Enjoy a tastefully decorated interior, plush linens, private patio with outdoor sitting, and BBQ. A complimentary bottle of local wine and welcome basket are also included.

For your added safety, there is a security camera located in the front gate keypad.
Rose Cottage sits approximately 150 feet beyond the property entrance gate and the keypad.

This was one of the most unique properties we’ve stayed at for an extended wine weekend getaway. When we first arrived we were greeted by goats, llamas, and horses, which in my opinion was a wonderful welcome. The property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and decorated throughout. You can tell the owner, Jen really put her time and special touch to make the cottage feel like a special getaway for guests. She was so attentive to all our needs/requests, but still maintained a sense of privacy. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and property, there were special treats when we arrived, including a complimentary bottle of wine, delicious manchego cheese, and a basketful of various snacks. The refrigerator was also stocked with drinks, wine, and, our favorite, farm eggs! Although the kitchen is compact we made several meals during our stay with no problem at all and used the grill to cook dinners and roast some fresh vegetables we picked up from Finley Farms just down the road. The location is perfect and central to Santa Ynez Valley wineries, as well as dining options. We visited many wineries throughout the weekend and our furthest drive was under 30 minutes. Although the property is close to everything it’s still private and quiet. We took morning runs and enjoyed passing by farms, horses, grapevines, and other stunning properties. We had an amazing few days and can’t wait to visit Anavo Farm again soon!"

Much of the art and furnishings were designed and handcrafted by the hosts incorporating deconstructed oak barrels to give it a one-of-a-kind wine country feel.

Outside you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of our lush back yard relaxing under the shade of two gorgeous mulberry trees in a semi-private outdoor sitting area complete with a mini propane fire pit for those chilly valley nights. While the hosts live in the front house and sometimes walk through the back yard, guests will typically have it to themselves - especially in the evenings. Feel free to wander out by car to enjoy the beautiful rolling hills of the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley and all it has to offer (wineries, casino, hiking and biking and Solvang "The Danish Capital of America" to name a few). Your dedicated parking space will be there when you return so no need to hassle with the limited parking in town. To make your stay extra special we like to bake delicious treats for our guests!

Welcome to a gorgeous Los Olivos private gated hideaway walkable to the downtown area and tasting rooms. This is the ideal California wine country sanctuary to sip delicious wine and relax with a loved one or take an overdue solo self-care adventure.

This rental is not for the entire home. It is a private bedroom, bathroom, jacuzzi, and garden within the home. Guests do not have access to the living room or kitchen. It has a separate entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house, but it is not a detached unit. It shares a wall with the rest of the home, but is extremely quiet and private.

You will wake up in a king bed to the lovely sound of morning birds as you step into a large private garden with fruit and olive trees, outdoor dining table and a meditation area.

Oh and don't forget the private jacuzzi cleaned after every stay!

THE SPACE

The home is right behind the new Auberge Mattei's Tavern, but less than half the price per night and much more private! The entire property is gated and very secure. The room is not a detached unit. You will have your own entrance. The space is extremely quiet and private and has no access to the rest of the house. The garden and jacuzzi are also private. The host lives on the opposite side of the large house.

You will enjoy a very high end King Size mattress, linen sheets, organic cotton towels, a mini-fridge to store wine and beverages, high speed wi-fi, and a wall mounted TV with premium cable and every streaming service.

Other amenities include central air and heat.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. You agree to not use the internet/wifi for any illegal activity.

This clean, well-appointed upstairs studio at Casa Rivera, is steps from the vibrant Los Olivos wine tasting scene (we have lots of 5 star reviews of our other "Sweet Queen Retreat" downstairs space on the same property). The 560 sq ft studio has a king size bed and sleeper sofa, two private decks, and a kitchenette with sink and fridge and lots ways to make coffee. With all the other thoughtful details we are known for, your stay is sure to be memorable.

This spacious studio is ideal for two people but can accommodate three between a king bed and a futon-style sleeper sofa (complete with a mattress topper and bedding tucked away in the closet until it’s used). With its open plan format the king bed is adjacent to a separate lounge area with a 55” TV so it can be easily viewed anywhere in the space. A long chaise sits in the corner by the window for comfy reading and napping. The kitchenette has a sink, mini-fridge with freezer and is equipped with lots of things to make coffee - french press, pour over, single serve 12 cup brewed, bean grinder, frother, as well as half n half and Nut Pods creamer in the fridge. There is also an 18-bottle wine fridge to take care of those treasures you bring home from a day of tasting. The bathroom has a shower tub combo and there is a built in dresser should you be coming for more than a couple nights. Just off the lounge area is a covered deck with Adirondack chairs, a propane fire pit and beautiful views of the lush hillsides which surround the town - a perfect place to watch the sun set over Ballard Canyon. Just outside the front door is a second deck that usually gets full sun and is an ideal place to grab some privacy outside. The location is right down the road from Roblar and Vincent wineries. Short, convenient drive to Los Olivos or downtown Santa Ynez. Our hosts were wonderfully gracious and warm. - "We spent a lovely weekend at our “Chalet” in Los Olivos. Couldn’t be closer to walk to all things Los Olivos. Check-in was clear and simple. A welcome wine and 2-1 tasting was thoughtful and appreciated. Air conditioning, a comfy bed, fabulous shower, and super super quiet neighborhood (and sleep) was a gift. Our favorite part was the outdoor patio, fire pit, and comfy chairs. Thinking of ways we could replicate this outdoor oasis at our home. Would stay again."
