- "We walked in our “room” and it was just WOW not a room at all but a two-bedroom condo with a full kitchen, dining area and lounge area with TV and fireplace. The place had been upgraded and was just beautiful. Oh bonus we had a washer/dryer in our unit, too! We think it was a timeshare that happened to be vacant, because it definitely wasn’t a typical hotel room. We would definitely stay here again. It was walking distance to all of Solvang’s quaint restaurants and shops. Beware that Solvang is getting more and more expensive. But with the world-class dining available in our area you might not want to boil water.
The Santa Ynez Valley comprises the Danish town of Solvang, the western-themed town of Santa Ynez, Ballard, Buellton, and Los Olivos. Aside from tasting the many vintages of the Santa Barbara County wines the valley offers; biking, horseback riding (in fact, if you have a horse and want to bring them, we have room for two), hiking, fishing, live theatre, movie theatre, shopping, festivals, surfing and much more. Santa Barbara is a 40-minute drive and the beach is only 30 minutes.

- "We had a wonderful stay at the Anavo. The cottage was lovely. A perfect retreat!" - "Wow, where do I start? This was one of the most unique properties we’ve stayed at for an extended wine weekend getaway. When we first arrived we were greeted by goats, llamas, and horses, which in my opinion was a wonderful welcome. The property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and decorated throughout. You can tell the owner, Jen really put her time and special touch to make the cottage feel like a special getaway for guests. She was so attentive to all our needs/requests, but still maintained a sense of privacy. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and property, there were special treats when we arrived, including a complimentary bottle of wine, delicious manchego cheese, and a basketful of various snacks. The refrigerator was also stocked with drinks, wine, and, our favorite, farm eggs! Although the kitchen is compact we made several meals during our stay with no problem at all and used the grill to cook dinners and roast some fresh vegetables we picked up from Finley Farms just down the road. The location is perfect and central to Santa Ynez Valley wineries, as well as dining options. We visited many wineries throughout the weekend and our furthest drive was under 30 minutes. Although the property is close to everything it’s still private and quiet. We took morning runs and enjoyed passing by farms, horses, grapevines, and other stunning properties. We had an amazing few days and can’t wait to visit Anavo Farm again soon!"

Welcome to a gorgeous Los Olivos private gated hideaway walkable to the downtown area and tasting rooms. This is the ideal California wine country sanctuary to sip delicious wine and relax with a loved one or take an overdue solo self-care adventure.

This rental is not for the entire home. It is a private bedroom, bathroom, jacuzzi, and garden within the home. Guests do not have access to the living room or kitchen. It has a separate entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house, but it is not a detached unit. It shares a wall with the rest of the home, but is extremely quiet and private.

You will wake up in a king bed to the lovely sound of morning birds as you step into a large private garden with fruit and olive trees, outdoor dining table and a meditation area.

Oh and don't forget the private jacuzzi cleaned after every stay!

THE SPACE

The home is right behind the new Auberge Mattei's Tavern, but less than half the price per night and much more private! The entire property is gated and very secure. The room is not a detached unit. You will have your own entrance. The space is extremely quiet and private and has no access to the rest of the house. The garden and jacuzzi are also private. The host lives on the opposite side of the large house.

You will enjoy a very high end King Size mattress, linen sheets, organic cotton towels, a mini-fridge to store wine and beverages, high speed wi-fi, and a wall mounted TV with premium cable and every streaming service.

Other amenities include central air and heat.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. You agree to not use the internet/wifi for any illegal activity.

The luxury apartment designed in a modern, cozy (HYGGE) Danish design can very comfortably sleep 2 and can accommodate 4 with a second Murphy bed located in the main living area downstairs. It has a giant 80” TV for all your movie/sports watching - a great spacious, fully equipped kitchen and just a great vibe to the whole place - we hope you will love it as much as we do!
The apartment has many amenities that you will love - from a heated mattress pad in the king bed upstairs, to down pillows and comforters, deluxe coffee makers and coffee provided, bathroom amenities also provided such as shampoo and make-up mirror not to mention yummy soft towels! We try and make the apartment as comfy and cozy and provide as many little conveniences as we can to make your stay as care free and convenient as possible. We know you are on vacation and don’t want to worry about all those little luxuries that make things so much more enjoyable so we try to provide everything we can think you may need ....... if you have any special requests just ask and we will try our best to deliver if it is within our means. Beautiful views from the outside of the top of the towers outdoor patio area - stargazing over the town at night or people watching during the day is sure to be loved by all.

There is a huge amount of parking adjacent to the apartment. We could actually see our truck from the kitchen window. We were close to an area where we could walk (and pick up after) our dog. Kitchen: Full disclosure; we did not cook here as we wanted to try restaurants. However we are big chefs and looked through the kitchen and it is equiped. The space would have been a pleasure to use. There were snacks and beverages available on arrival. The wine selection was amazing! The island eating area has comfortable seating and pleanty of space for 4 people. There is lovely morning sunlight in the kitchen (and blinds to block it if desired). Living Room: Cozy, warm and comfortable area. Very large screen TV for use, books and games. There is a large chest style Murphy Bed that we did not use. The open concept with the kitchen flows nicely. Also downstairs: Laundry room off kitchen with half bath. We did not do laundry but the area is modern and clean. Having a second bathroom is wonderful. Upstairs bedroom: Wow! Warm, cozy and luxurious!! LOTS of mirrored closet space. Extra pillows and blackets. Really great blanket on lounging chair that can be used downstairs for snuggling while watching TV. Bathroom: Two seperated vanities with sinks and lots of counter space. Plug in lighted make-up mirrror. Large shower with dual shower heads. This is a fab bathroom. Rooftop deck: A circular open metal staircase leads to thee rooftop deck with bartop table seating for morning coffee and evening drinks. The views from here are wonderful, mountain vistas as well as the the town and the windmill. Everything was lit up for Christmas and so festive looking. Our dog would not climb the stairs to the rooftop deck as much as we tried to encourage her. We ate breakfast two times at Brekkies. They have a great outdoor space (dogs allowed) and the best gluten free waffles I've ever had. We would recommend this property!!"
