I am mostly confused by how VRBO and Expedia are linked together as I checked in, the concierge mentioned the booking was through Expedia and not VRBO. The place had been upgraded and was just beautiful. Oh bonus we had a washer/dryer in our unit, too! We think it was a timeshare that happened to be vacant, because it definitely wasn’t a typical hotel room. We would definitely stay here again. It was walking distance to all of Solvang’s quaint restaurants and shops. Beware that Solvang is getting more and more expensive. It cost $17 for two hot cocoas at a local bakery and $68 for two people to have breakfast at a local cafe. We cooked the rest of our meals in our gorgeous kitchen. "
