We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but we enjoyed the coffee put out in the lobby in the mornings. Downtown Santa Barbara is only 16 miles away, and The Ritz Carlton Resort (Bacara), and the Sandpiper Golf course, are only 1 exit south. Solvang is a 20 minute drive to the North, along the Pacific coast.

The office is on this floor and has dual monitors, keyboard, mouse with a USB-C docking station compatible with most laptops.

Second Floor/Upstairs:

Main bedroom 2 is a large room with an ensuite bath and fireplace. There is a split king size bed in this room.

There are multiple dining and sitting areas both indoors and outdoors including a large outdoor living room with firepit. The home can easily fit two families with children.

This is our primary home, not a full time rental, so be prepared to see family photos in the hallway and some framed children's artwork. We are teachers who love to travel with our family during the summer. That said, our house is in a residential neighborhood with sidewalks and parks. It's conveniently located near Haskell's Beach (2 miles away), Devereux Beach, Goleta Beach, a large shopping center with Costco, Albertson's, theaters, restaurants, breweries and UCSB. Our house is walking distance to 3 parks and a disc golf course. It's a short drive from downtown Santa Barbara (15-20 minutes), the airport (5 miles) and the Amtrak station (4 miles).

Our home has a 1600 ft floor plan home plus a garage, located on a cul de sac. We have 2 children, so it is kid friendly. 2 bedrooms have queen size beds, one has 2 twin beds and the fourth has a double bed. We have a living room and family room (which has a desk, piano and fireplace (solely for ambiance, not warmth)), dining area and kitchen. Our backyard consists of a large grass area, redwood pergola and large patio with table and plenty of seating. We also lots of toys to play with in the back yard - a ping pong table, corn hole, disc golf basket, trampoline and small climbing wall to use at your own risk.

In the connected garage you'll find our washer/dryer which is available for stays 5 nights and longer. There is also a couch and tv perfect for the kids to escape :) We typically leave boogie boards and foam surfboards available for use in the garage (please check with us prior to your stay if interested in these items). We have over 15 fruit trees that, if with ripe fruit, you may pick. The kitchen will be stocked with all the necessary pots/pans, and cutlery to make any meal. We also recently remodeled our kitchen with wooden counter tops that take some extra care. Thank you in advance!

The backyard offers ample space to relax or dine al fresco, and the garage features a ping pong table, surfboards, bikes and an extra refrigerator.

The space
This unit has a total area of 701 square feet and has been newly renovated with a sleek quartz countertop and features a full-sized closet along with additional kitchen cabinets for extra storage. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size fridge/freezer, gas range with oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, and rice cooker. You'll also find all the kitchen essentials, including dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. For your convenience, a desk area is provided, ideal for studying or remote work.

Extended stays available. The room will be professionally cleaned between each stay.

• Noises:
Please be aware that there may be some noise in the condominium. As this unit is on the first floor, sounds from the upstairs units may be audible. Additionally, ongoing construction in the area, as well as noise from the nearby freeway and Amtrak/train, may also be heard from time to time. While these noises are part of the urban setting, we aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. • For Guests Working the Graveyard Shift:
If you're working a graveyard shift, please be mindful when booking. Due to the daily noises from the area, such as construction, traffic, and general activity, you may have difficulty sleeping in the morning. We recommend considering these factors before making your reservation to ensure a restful stay.

While your suite is attached to our home, it is completely private with your own gated entrance, garden, and parking. You do not share with us on the attached main house we live in. (Unfortunately we never get to see our guests unless they request to)
We are 2 mins walking distance to 7 11 convenient store, bars and Home Plate restaurant. Your private garden is perfect for Al fresco dinning, winding down with a glass of wine while gazing at the stars and moon. The garden is also a perfect place to work with many chirping friends flying by.
We have a large walk in closet which can fit a twin bed in case you have extra guest or young child. (upon request) In addition, a workstation with papers, envelopes, etc. In the event that you need something printed out, scanned, or fax.. We can help you with that too!
Currently we do not have cable tv, but have a Smart Tv loaded with Netflix, Youtube, Disney +, Hulu and many movie choices as well as a DVD player.
We do not have a bathtub. We have a two person walk in shower with bench seat in Italian marble and bronze medallion. The bay window view to the garden.
