MONTHLY (31 day) RENTAL TO ADULTS ONLY. Located in the center of the bucolic village of Ojai, is this 2-bedroom, one bath cottage; an exquisitely appointed home with particular attention paid to detail. Furnishings are tasteful; for a discerning guest the experience will be a visual joy, every room perfectly done and fitting to the space.
The back patio area, totally enclosed, offers an outdoor dining table that seats 6, and the sound of the fountain and beauty of the landscape creates a feeling of total tranquility.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with the exception of a microwave and dishwasher. The house is comfortably heated and air-conditioned. There is WiFi and Direct TV basic cable.
Both bedrooms have Queen sized beds, and generous closet and dresser space.
Directly across the street is Libbey Park, the central historic park of Ojai, and out the front door you are just a short walk from the bike path which takes you along a scenic route for miles. There are 5 restaurants within less than a block, 4 coffee houses and 2 wineries within a mile, and all the exciting retail shops that Ojai is famous for. The retail stores and galleries in Ojai are all owner-run, and you won’t find the chain store shopping that exists elsewhere. If you choose to bicycle around town rather than drive, you will find a bike rental shop within a block.
Since the home is so finely decorated, we are limiting the rental to ADULTS ONLY, 30 yrs +, with a maximum of 4 people, NO CHILDREN OR PETS WHATSOEVER, NO SMOKING, no illegal drugs.

Set up for months stay. Fully equipped, Nespresso machine, washer dryer, lots of storage, AC, Wi-Fi etc. Great for work from anywhere (most past guests do so including many in technology) with good wifi, large monitor and cords, various workspaces/ desks and a portable desk to set up anywhere and a laptop riser.

The Arbolada is known for its beautiful oak tree filled properties and great Ojai location. Just a short walk to downtown Ojai for restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. The Ojai Valley Inn is also a short 20 min walk away for spa, golf and dinners. Los Padres National Forest trailheads are also a 20 min walk from the guest cottage.

- "This is a very special place that is located near a unique intersection of water ways and has much historic and environmental significance. It is located in a secluded valley off of Rose Valley road where some really kind and loving folks and their dogs and farm animals live. They are super kind enough to share this special place with guests and have set up this really pleasing tiny house with all the necessary items for a very comfy stay. This valley has a unique climate and can even get snow at times. There is a creek nearby, plenty of green, quiet, stargazing, birds, and there are surely wild animals in the surroundings. This is a great place to escape the noise and chaos of city life for some quiet introspective time as well as for some hiking along the many trails in the region. Also, just a 20 min or so drive down to Ojai for required provisions or for food or wine tasting. The dogs are unique and have such personality and gentleness and easy to get attached to. Very kind host with great knowledge of the history of the region. You leave thankful of the experience and respectful of the land and it history. "

- "We enjoyed our stay at Dimitar’s home for the most part, but when we inquired about adjusting the temperature of the hot tub multiple times via text and message, we were ignored. At more than 900 per night, our expectations were unfortunately not met in terms of communication, and we would not recommend a stay here."

Romantic retreat in the the Ojai Valley on the edge of Los Padres National Forest, just one and a half hours from LA. On a private 3 acre estate up a no through road, the Red House is a prairie style cabin with a wraparound verandah, outside kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, Wifi, TV, coffee machine and a glamorous wooden bathhouse with a roll top Victorian tub and shower plus laundry. One double bed with sprung mattress plus an antique single French roll top bed, all in one generous room.

The property is planted with pepper trees and acacias, orange trees, lemon trees, avocado trees, and a sweeping lawn for outdoor games or lounging around. Mountain views in every direction, nearby horse riding centres, endless hiking trails, hot springs and water holes for swimming plus wildlife and birds. The town of Ojai is full of thrift shops and artisan cafes, health food shops, yoga classes and a huge variety of restaurants.

Our guest cottage is situated in the corner of our property overlooking a bucolic meadow. The back deck is perfectly situated to see Chief's Peak on one side and the open field intermixed with mature sycamores and oaks. We have recently remodeled the kitchen/dining/living room to enhance the functionality of the small space and upgrade to more premium material finishes (the shelves, bar counter, and coffee table are all from local oaks that had fallen in the Ojai Valley). Although cottage is less than 750 sqft, it feels much larger on account of the well thoughtfully furnished/designed space along with the extensive views of natural landscape out of all of the surrounding windows.

The location of the cottage is ideal, both the downtown Ojai Arcade and the Pratt Trailhead are less than a mile in each direction of the property. The neighborhood is on the northern edge of town and the cottage sits on the south side of the end of a tiny cul-de-sac street (no through traffic) looking up at the Topa Topas. Although the property feels like you're in town, the property is completely silent at night (except for when the surrounding wildlife has something to say ;) ).

We have a ONE MONTH MINIMUM policy with NO EXCEPTIONS.

Wonderful designer cottage with all you need for a longer stay. This Cottage is located just off of the Ojai bike and horse trail so you can enjoy Ojai by bike without ever having to find a parking space! The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with spices and all the basics you need. The queen bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable with beautiful, high end bedding. The bathroom with soaking tub has towels and face wipes. There is 42 inch flatscreen has Apple TV and internet. Split unit heating and AC to keep you comfy plus and electric fireplace for ambiance. Easy parking onsite. Attached to the cottage is a small yard with a bistro table for dining outdoors. We are located 3 miles from downtown Ojai and 12 miles to the beach.
