My spouse worked remotely while there and the internet was totally fine for his work and my movie streaming. Barbara is great, she kept in contact and let us know of any gardening work that might be happening, and even let me ship a package to her during our stay. The cozy apartment is perfect for two people.The apartment had soap, garbage bags, foil, detergent, tons of extra towels, sheets, pillow etc...Many VRBO don't offer that. Spotless and simple. The deck area is HUGE and we used it every day. If you want to be in the middle of the action in Ojai then you can't beat this apartment. Ojai is so friendly and easy to navigate and a visitor. lots of good parking. There are concerts or dance music from around the area that you can hear on the deck most nights until 9pm and there is some road noise but not enough to keep us up. We loved being able to stroll around the town each night after dinner. Many nice places to eat and get coffee are just a 1 min walk away. We brought out bikes and rode the Ojai to Ventura bike trail a lot. The trail is the most bike friendly and beautiful I have ever seen. Some things to mention( these are not critiques but things we noticed that may help you prepare for your trip): There isn't a microwave, the kitchen has all the utensils and pans and dishes etc...but keep this in mind if you are used to zapping things to heat them up. The Giant wardrobe is only hanging clothes rods(there are tons of hangers) . The bathroom does not have a door(but does have a curtain) which may not be to everyones liking. These were fine for us and, as I said, this is just to help you prepare for your stay. The towels, linen, mattress and pillows were very good quality and comfy. We would totally rent this apartment again, highly recommend it and working with Barbara is a breeze."

- "This is the perfect little space for two people, and actually quite roomy for a studio. We didn't cook, so I can't speak to how well stocked the kitchen was, but it did have a Keurig and a couple mugs.I loved this quiet location in Meiner's Oaks. It's just 2-3 blocks from a bunch of restaurants, including The Farmer and The Cook, where we ate several meals.This unit is attached to an existing home and shares the driveway. It requires a step down through the front door, and there's a narrow ramp into the bathroom (probably not wheelchair width). The walls are a little thin, so you can hear muffled voices and television at times, but it was quiet at night. Neighborhood seemed safe. It's only 5-10 drive from downtown Ojai, and convenient to hiking and Lake Casitas.Apartment has a wall a/c unit, and a rolling plug-in radiator. I was surprised how well the radiator worked even in the large room with a high ceiling. No complaints! "

The Space:
A comfortable sitting area, modern full bath with linen closet, a very large walk-in closet and a comfortable firm queen bed with a pillow top mattress, goose down pillows, a dedicated work space with high speed internet and a view of your private garden makes it the perfect place to settle in and call home.

Our studio does not have a full kitchen. The kitchenette area has everything you need to prepare a simple meal, including a fridge, convection oven, air fryer, toaster oven, microwave and countertop burner. All accessories including plates, utensils, coffee maker, blender, tea kettle, glasses and a distilled water dispenser are provided. The laundry room is just steps away.

Pets:
No animals have ever occupied the studio in deference to guest with allergies. We disinfect the entire studio with a state of the art ozone purification system and shampoo the carpets after every stay.
