The apartment was right on top of the ocean that you could access right down the stairs at low tide, but not for very long nor to lounge on sandy beach. That kind of beach is a few minutes of a walk down the street. Sitting on the balcony to watch the waves, sunset and sealife was so nice, but the patio furniture cushions that were there were all wet due to the high tide, so had to ask Angel to bring up a couple of plastic chairs to make it more pleasant. Once he did that, all was good. The bed was comfortable, but the pull out couch was not, even though its fine to sit on, its not comfortable to sleep in and the mattress & springs need to be replaced. Plenty of towels and kitchen necessities were provided and also beach chairs. If staying on Malibu beach is on your bucket list, although pricey, this is the place."

- "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was ready, easy to access upon arrival. Angel, was wonderful - accessible, friendly and helpful. The sound of the waves was incredible and we slept better than we have in years. It was wild having the waves crashing just below the deck. We loved just sitting on the deck immersed in the ocean sites/sounds. Unit was well-stocked with kitchen items and linens. Location was amazing…steps to the shore of one of the most famous beaches in the world, and a short walk to the pier. We found some lovely sea glass and shells and experienced a few exciting up-close encounters with famous people as we strolled the beach. We enjoyed breakfast on the pier, dinner at Duke’s down the road, and accessible shopping in town. Very affordable relative to other properties that close to the beach/ocean in the area and that more than made up for the things we thought could be better. The unit needs some TLC because of the toll the salt water/air takes on things and it was challenging keeping the floors clean of sand and salt water. There were two lamps in the living room space that didn’t work - one seemed burned out and the other had a broken switch so we couldn’t turn it on. There were 1 or 2 broken window latches and the sliding door didn’t lock properly. Sometimes high tide sprayed water onto the deck and into the door. A floor mat there would be helpful. We truly loved it and we hope to return in the future."

You have access to a secluded, private ocean-view citrus orchard just steps from your apartment. Pick your own delicious tangerines, oranges, grapefruit, limes and lemons when in season. And there is no aroma as seductive as orange blossoms at dusk. The orchard also offers a beanbag bag toss game, if you get tired of just relaxing.

Known for its long sandy beaches makes Carbon perfect for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. You will be steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. You can walk to Surfrider beach or the Malibu Pier from the beach access onsite, or you can walk a little further to the Country Mart for the best restaurants and shops in Malibu. There are always new shops opening nearly every day.
