Pet policy:
We allow pets on a case by case basis and reserve the right to refuse. We charge an additional $150 per pet per stay if allowed which goes towards deep cleaning to accommodate future guests who may have allergies. This charge is mandatory no matter what type of animal it is. Please know you must inform us of any pets prior to booking. Please note that airbnb charge flat pet fee for only one pet ($150), if you are bringing multiple pets it will be extra charge of $100 per each pet after first one. We are happy to accommodate more than one pet, but there will be extra charge.

Mold on lower portion of shower curtain like it hadn't been washed in a month. Floor was grimy and our socks got dirty so we couldn't go barefoot. Brown handprints on both sides of bathroom door and bathroom mirror was obviously not cleaned because it had smudge marks. Dust all over the bottom part of the bar stools made us realize they probably hadn't mopped in a month. We found 4 opened 3/4 full water bottles which made us think the place wasn't really cleaned at all. At night, lights from the microwave and four other electronics lit up the whole studio so it was very difficult to sleep and there were no darkening shades so it made it even more difficult to sleep. Another thing that was very irritating was that the bed sheets and comforter had a very strong perfume smell that was probably strong scented laundry soap..people have allergies duh. They probably cleaned the toilet since there were two old toilet brushes behind the toilet. Cleaning supplies were under kitchen sink.. be careful if you have a toddler. TV stand drawers were full of their junk. I complained, they said they were with the cleaning lady when she cleaned... then offered to come clean it the next day. We declined since the tiny space should have already been sparkling clean... no excuse. We were only there for 2 days..didn't want anyone around our stuff. We would have had a much better experience in a hotel."

This is a room in a bright, airy apartment in Culver City. The room has a comfy bed, a desk, a TV, an air purifier, an Alexa and a private bathroom. Common areas (kitchen, dining, living room) are shared with me, my partner, and our small dog.

The space
I’ve lived in Los Angeles for 15 years, and I’m happy to share our Culver City home with respectful guests.

The guest room has a cushy queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress topper for an extra comfortable night of sleep. There’s also a white noise machine (Alexa) available. You’ll also have your own private bathroom. Towels and other bathroom amenities are provided.

The unit is on the third floor (elevators available) of the complex with multiple pools, hot tubs and lush walking trails throughout. The property has a small lake with ample seating and tables for enjoying the scenery as well as an open-use clubhouse, a gym, a playground and laundry machines on each floor.

This is a gated community with a guard house and 24-hour security patrol. It’s extremely safe, and I feel comfortable walking around the property at night.

Central location: 12 minutes to Venice Beach; 14 minutes from LAX; Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Downtown all about 20 minutes away.

We have a very sweet 10yr old hound/lab so please be okay with pups. We’re also currently fostering a couple of little kittens.

Large and open public space designed to be both comfortable and practical. Good sized private space with clean, comfortable bedding and towels provided. The bathroom is shared but is always kept extremely clean - and we wholeheartedly appreciate your efforts to keep it nice!

Other things to note
Home Truths...

There are live plants in your room. We will, by all means possible, respect your privacy to the utmost however (and this is more for longer term bookings) from time to time we may have to come in to tend to the plants.

LA plumbing is notoriously bad; this is also true for this building - under no circumstances should anything except for waste and toilet paper be flushed down the toilet. This also includes flushable wipes, make up wipes, feminine products, etc. (Nothing has ever happened in the apartment itself but it causes havoc elsewhere in the building). The plumbers can trace it back to this apartment and I have to pay for it; if a blockage is caused by failure to regard this information you will have to pay for the plumbing service.

We have an 8 year old pup (he's in the pics) - he's extremely sweet and very gentle but he does bark quite loudly when people come in, sometimes even at me. He was trained to do this, and this alone, but it can be quite scary if you're not expecting it.

If you made a booking for 1 person there will only be 1 person allowed to stay - by all means you're allowed guests/overnight guests (Covid sensitive please) but any guests staying more than 1 night will be charged to your booking at the nightly additional guest rate; if reservations with pets are accepted, there is an additional $25/night that will be added - as Airbnb don’t actually have a setting for this, it will be requested after the booking is confirmed - Please reach out to confirm whether it’s ok to bring your furry friend before booking.
In the event of any potty accidents, there is also a cleaning fee of $100/incident - this is to cover costs for professional cleaning/damages; irreversible damage to property from pets will be charged at replacement cost price.

This is a no-shoe home, please respect that and do not wear your shoes inside. It helps keep everything much cleaner inside!
