The fully furnished guest apartment has 750 sq. feet (69.68 sq. m) with private entry, very quiet and safe, just 8 short minutes to the ocean, nestled in an upscale, safe community. The rental consists of 1 bedroom which sleeps 2 people in a queen size bed, an extra storage area and spacious closets. The 1 bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with marble walls and floor. The living room is spacious with a black Italian leather couch and seat, a dining area, a 55 inch Smart TV and DVD player and free high speed Wi-Fi. The travertine floors are throughout the living room and the fully equipped kitchen and small breakfast area for two.
No need for a car to enjoy the local beach life and activities. Visitors from all over the world come to spend their vacation on our wide, beautiful sandy beach with fantastic sunsets. We are within walking distance to Hermosa, Redondo and Manhattan Beach piers.
There are lots of summer activities and concerts. You can enjoy the beach, swim, boogey board, use our tennis and basketball courts and practically walk to everything. You can make your own relaxing or active vacation.
A bike and car rentals are just around the corner for visiting other famous attractions.

We are able to book into the future but have the option not to take a booking if outside of 10 days from the current guest's departure. If we were able to book under thirty days we would not have to do this but because of the current city rule we are unable to book any other way, thank you for your understanding as we are a small family owned business.

We’re about 2 blocks from the beach and less than a half a mile from the pier. It`s a quiet, upscale beach neighborhood with lots of families and retired people. There are many multi-million dollar homes. The area is known to be home of many LA Kings players. Walking distance to tons of GREAT restaurants, bars, coffee shops and stores. North End Bar & Grill is a local favorite with incredible prices and food. Hermosa beach is known for Volleyball and the tournaments. Hangout at the famous Hermosa beach pier with great night life. Lot’s of good music.

Walk Score rates the neighborhood `Very Walkable and Very Bikeable`, and if you wanted you wouldn`t need to drive anywhere.
-Several Beach Rental shops are less than a mile away for bikes and boards you can rent (Jeffers, Next Adventure)

No smoking on the property.

- "Loved the convenience of the apartment location, short walk to the beach, the small-town feel of the neighborhood. Never had difficulty finding a parking space. The owner was extremely helpful, and the little apartment was very clean. I enjoyed having breakfast on the patio at Martha's, overlooking the ocean. (The palm tree on the gate always made me smile!)" - "A nice stay in this studio at a great rate!" - "10 night stay. First night the door code did not work and they were unavailable/not answering so had to rent a dog friendly room at 9:30 at night for a sizeable fee. After about a week a stranger came into our room while we were sleeping because they were using the SAME CODE for both apartments. That poor gentleman almost got shot because of their error! It took almost 5 hours the next day for them to fix the lock. Only one night refunded for the "slight inconvenience" (quote from the owner). "

The Vista Casita is a two bedroom, one bath second story home which sleeps four to five. For sleeping, there are king and queen beds and a queen sofa bed in the living room. If you require additional room please see our other rental property below (click on 'All My Rental Listings').

It is a two-minute walk to a couple of delightful restaurants open morning to night as well as a convenience store. Also it is just an eight-minute walk to the pier and plaza with a huge variety of restaurants and shopping.

The Vista Casita is designed with a style that would make Tommy Bahama himself proud. You will be more relaxed in this setting than you could possibly imagine. The living room and master bedroom have large picture windows that present marvelous unobstructed beach and ocean views. A bricked patio which includes dining table, double chaise lounge, bar and barbecue is available for lounging in this idyllic setting and watching the world go by. Highly recommend." - "Check in was posted after 3pm. We arrived at 3:30pm. Cleaning lady seemed as though she just started. Returned about 1.5 hr later. Place was just " wiped down" Cleaning lady took all the towels except 2. There was 4 people. Had to sweep the floors. Cobb webs In multiple places. In the VBRO site it stated a comfortable couch sleeper that will sleep 2. What was in the condo was a broken futon with a dirty slip cover. When set for sleeping there is a bar down the middle of it and was very uncomfortable. There was one trash bag for garbage, which was in the trash can. No hand soap. No dish soap. Black marks on the wall. No toiletries, sheets and blankets not clean. TV Remote control batteries corroded in remote. Changed batteries and fixed. Street Parking pass expired. In the site it stated " everything you will need for a comfortable stay". Ended up getting a queen size mattress, no way anyone could sleep comfortably on the futon. Got ahold of property manager and shared our concerns. Said she would have the towels returned clean. Contacted VBRO customer service, case # 32582727. sent pictures of issues, placed on hold 3 times and then was hung up on. Last conversation VBRO said they need to contact the owner, which was 4 days ago. We left the place cleaner than we found it. In a lighter note location is very close to the beach."

My wife & I and our 2 teenage boys enjoyed our time at this well appointed condo on the beach! The location is less than a 5 minute walk to the Hermosa Pier. For that matter, virtually everthing you need is within walking distance; restaurants, shopping (clothes, gifts & groceries), along with various other recreational activities - other than The Beach! Everything we needed was supplied - all we did was make a couple of trips to the market which was just a short 5 minute drive. We bbq on the patio (much to the delight of the other folks on vacation walking The Strand and comments such as 'yum, smells good - any extra?' I strongly recommend this rental for any family, couple, etc wishing to partake of the 'SoCal Beach Experience' - we really did not want to leave - but we'll be back!

The apartment is very open yet private.

Come and go as you please. Have conversation with us or don’t, it’s chill. We’re a free spirit house hold. We have TWO listings on the property so be aware this is a communal experience.


The Experience:
If you decide to stay with us please be aware; me, and my roommate will be coming and going throughout the day. We respectfully ask that you treat our home as if it were your own home.

We love when people come and hangout, chat, use all of the homes amenities. If that’s not your jam that’s okay. All are welcomed ")

If you prefer to keep to yourself or are busy with your plans, no worries! This is YOUR space so treat it how you see fit. Whether that’s sitting in the living room chatting, hanging out having a smoke on the plant filled balcony, or laying low in your room for privacy. Some guest we don’t see during the entirety of their stay!

About Us:
My name is Aaron and I’ve been living in Hermosa Beach for 7 years. I’m originally from Torrance and grew up in the area. So you can say I’m as native as any Angelino gets… I enjoy creating open spaces where people can feel free and spend time being. I’m very open, and occasionally go to and from the apartment so don’t be alarmed if you find the apartment open.. I’m always cleaning because good Feng Shui thrives here along with the plants. This is the us part, the energy, the movements, the space is all welcoming.

You’ll know the semantics are for the ones learning, and the ones who get it end up living a lifetime over. Take a break and breath air in… or smoke. I typically roll up in the morning ;)

Basics:
If there’s something that makes you uncomfortable please let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate. But again, you’re staying in our home so isn’t the experience learning to live with other people?

Welcome to California, where people prefer weed over drinks, tacos over filet mignon, and car rides over a 10min walk.

420 friendly. Don Julio friendly. Just no crack or meth those tend to make the experience weird and finicky.


Check In:
Please let me know the time you'd like to check in BEFORE you book. Between 4-7pm. If your flight lands after 7pm DO NOT book without talking to us first. Absolutely NO checks ins after 7pm unless requested in advance. Check in is a mutually agreed upon time. If you do not have a flexible check in time please talk to me about it before booking. We will need advance warning and planning to check you in. Please do not show up 1 hour early or arrive 1 hour late. Respect our time pleassssssee.


Check Out:
10am. After checkout, we do not store any luggage inside the apartment after too many guests abused this courtesy. There is an open space outside under our front stairs that many guests use to store their luggage. There is no lock but no one has had any problems since it is hidden and we are the back building. I'm sorry but it’s not like a hotel lobby.

House Rules:
Please no shoes in the apartment. Absolutely no bringing other people/friends (who are not apart of booking) to apartment... Again, please respect our home and don't show up with a stranger on our doorstep. Please do not give out our address or have friends meet you at the apartment. I mean, common sense right? How would you like it?

Quiet Hours:
We want to be respectful of everyone's sleeping schedule. We ask to be considerate of noise between 11pm-9am. But no curfew, you can come and go whatever time you want! But seriously, please don't be giggling and talking loud when you come in late or slamming doors at 7am. We all need sleeeeep ^-^

Other Guests: This is an apartment with 4 rooms. Our room, and the other private guest rooms. Must be ok with other guests in the apartment... Who are awesome travelers just like you! 

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Strict cancellation policy, no exceptions (including health & weather). Make sure to read everything before you book. If you need to cancel for ANY reason you are agreeing to our refund policy by booking. I really hope you read this.

Other things to note
PARKING:
No designated parking spot. Street parking is plentiful.

We ask that you don’t park or pull your vehicle in our back lot as that space belongs to me, and my neighbor and we’d like to respect everyone’s shared space.

ROOM:
Although the room has a queen size bed I only host ONE guest per listing/room. Due to the space’s capacity it’s most comfortable this way. Thank you for understanding.

Welcome to Conchal Cottage, our charming garden oasis cottage / weekend surf pad located less than a 3-minutes walk from the sand in Hermosa Beach.

Conchal Cottage is comfy, clean, and stylish, which is how we like to vacation.

Our apartment is the upper unit in a charming 2-unit duplex cottage that was built nearly 100 years ago!

We named it Conchal Cottage because the apartment is decorated with art from our travels through Costa Rica (including Playa Conchal, Costa Rica).

And with 2 Smart TV's, fast wifi, gas BBQ, and a spacious garden patio "oasis," your entertainment and relaxation is guaranteed!

We just replaced the pull-out bed with a brand new queen sized bed and bed frame! No more pull out :)

Parking: Parking is by street permit, which we pay for. We're located several blocks away from the pier which is good for parking because there are usually ample parking spots available. You will be given a guest parking permit, which allows you to park in many of the city's street parking spots (including those right out front of the apartment) without having to move after the sign's stated time limit i.e. 1-3 hours) or having to pay anything to the meter. Basically, parking is free!

We are close to many famous restaurants and bars. You will enjoy the vibe and youthful energy of Hermosa Beach. Our neighborhood is very safe and it’s not uncommon to see a lot of famous people who lives close by.

No balcony or outdoor area to use but the beach is right there as everything else out beach city offers.

We can host up to 4 people, please NOTE that we have an ADDITIONAL charge for each guest after 2. We DO NOT allow any unregistered guests to be in the unit at anytime! If HOUSE RULES are not followed we reserve the right to terminate your reservation without any refund. This is for our safety and safety of our neighbors.

Pet policy: please note that airbnb only charge pet fee for one pet, if you are bringing multiple pets it will be extra charge $100 per each per after 1. We are happy to accommodate more than one pet, but there will be extra charge.

This is studio with QUEEN size bed. Sofa - for one person and when requested we provide air mattress for 4th guest.

Lax is only 5 miles away, and short drive to famous Santa Monica, Venice beach... Owner keeps some of his belongings in the unit.

Welcome to our family’s beach retreat. A beautiful modern condo (totally renovated in March '23) located on an upper floor overlooking the pool in a quiet building.

MINIMUM 31 DAY RENTAL

2 Queen bed bedrooms each w. walk-in en-suite bathrooms. 2 parking spots in a covered gated garage. Hi-speed WiFi (subject to service), smart TV, walking distance to shops, green beltway and restaurants in Hermosa Beach. Our place is perfect for extended stays/business trips, couples and small families.

The space
Light, airy, modern design and furniture. Totally renovated. The building is in a great position in Hermosa Beach, quiet but close to everything. If you are looking for a home away from home while on a long stay work trip, you are renovating a home locally and need somewhere during construction or you are writing the next great American novel or movie script and need somewhere to focus our home is just the spot.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire apartment except for locked owners closets. You will have access to building common areas, parking garage (2 dedicated spots), pool, hot tub, sauna and laundry room subject to HOA rules and availability.

Access is with real keys available in a lockbox. Keys to be returned at the end of stay or a charge will be made.

Other things to note
We are a minimum 31 day rental due to City, HOA rules and insurance.

Note: bathrooms each have a walk in shower no bathtub.

Being located half a mile from the ocean and its mild climate and with great light and airflow our unit has no A/C.

Cleaning fee covers bi-weekly light cleaning (2 in a month).

Wake up for an early morning surf or sleep in and walk down to the beach to get some sun. Our home is the perfect perch for you to pause and enjoy all Hermosa Beach has to offer!

The space
This 620 sq.ft 1 bed/1 bath apartment is fully stocked with things you need to enjoy your stay at this beautiful beach community. Just 6 streets to the beach and the famous 'Strand'. Mild weather all year to enjoy biking, walking, surfing, etc. Sofa bed at living room, becomes a 2nd bed (Queen Size) to accommodate 2 extra people. Enough seating for 4 guests and visitors but more than enough space for couples vacationing or solo travelers.

The place has everything You need to make your stay enjoyable and easy breezy:
-Bedroom has a king size bed ( brand new mattress)
-Queen size sofa bed in the living room
-Kitchen: microwave, full size fridge and freezer, dishes and silverware, cooking sets.
-Bathroom: you have towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and all you need.

The property offers an android projector (XGIMI) that allows you to access Netflix, Disney+, ESPN, Youtube, Spotify, Apple TV, Hulu, etc. on a 80" size projection on the wall. You can also project from your phone or computer wirelessly.

The building features 24 hr pool, hot tub, gym, sauna, and a card/app operated laundry room (washers and dryers) all available to guests.

Guest access
Full access to the whole apartment along with one assigned free parking spot. Free street parking is also available. Tesla supercharger across the street with plenty of free parking undeneath the retail area in front of the condominium.

Other things to note
Keep in mind that this is in a mulitple unit apartment complex. Therefore, hearing noises from other residents at random times could potentially occur. We can not control what the neighbors do. Weather is mild in the summer and stays fresh throughout the year. As stated on the listing, their is no AC in the apartment, but unit has two large glass doors accessing beautiful courtyard. In summer, opening the sliding glass doors is enough to cool down the unit. Unit also offers two ceiling fans with remote. For cold nights and winter, unit offers heating independently setup for bedroom and living room.

We also provide a FREE PARKING PASS for our guests, with which you can park FOR FREE all over Hermosa Beach at certain parking meters. Keep in mind that those parking meters are a bit further away from the apartment, but you can find them all over the city.
Please DON’T LOSE the parking permit. The fee for losing the permit is $1,000 because we cannot get another one if we lose it. Thank you!

PARKING FOR FREE USING A PARKING PERMIT:
You can park at any 24-hour street meter (yellow poles/yellow meter caps) without paying the meter. Just display the parking pass inside your car.
You can also park at any residential one-hour time limit spaces (non-metered).

There are other parking meters that are very close to the apartment (2 minutes walking distance) and also a parking garage (5 minutes walking distance). But those ones you have to pay for and cannot use the parking permit for.

Oceanfront & is located on The Strand in Hermosa Beach. Relax in a modern décor of bright, modern, and chic beach style throughout the living space. Features include but are not limited to a walk-in shower, in-home washer and dryer, cable TV internet, a full kitchen & on-site parking for a compact car, or a pass for nearby structure parking.

We book close to an available opening. We do not book months in advance. This is because we are a small owner-operated business.

The space
Situated in a charming oceanfront 4-unit complex, this home offers a delightful escape. As you step into your vacation getaway, you'll be greeted by a vaulted wood beam ceiling, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere. The open layout seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas, adorned with upscale beach-themed decor that exudes a sense of calm and relaxation. The downstairs front patio is a haven for BBQs, sunset views, or even a productive workspace. The Casa Premiere is located within a complex that offers privileged access to our ocean-view patio with BBQ dining. Relax and unwind to the soothing sound of crashing waves, a unique experience that only a coveted Strand location can provide. Our prime location is just a few blocks away from Pier Plaza, where you can indulge in wonderful dining experiences and explore great shopping options.

Step outside and embrace the beauty of the strand as you walk your dog or enjoy a leisurely stroll with your friends. Surfing is right at your doorstep, and you can also engage in activities like swimming and snorkeling. If you wish to explore further, the beach is just a mile to the north, while Redondo Beach awaits a mile to the south. Both cities are easily accessible by foot, or you can grab one of the bikes available in our bike room and enjoy a scenic ride along the 21-mile bike path that stretches from Palos Verdes to Malibu, passing through various charming locations along the strand.

We book off the end of the current guest's stay. We do not book further out than a few weeks out off of a current guest's stay, unless the stay is for a summer or high-season stay. The city only allows for 30-day rentals so we can not leave weeks unbooked between guests. I appreciate your understanding, as we are a small family business. We welcome dogs and service animals. We do not allow cats.

Absolutely breathtaking views from our private rooftop deck. 2 decks with 360 degrees views of the ocean, beach and mountains. Our unit gets sun from sunrise to sunset.

2 minute walk to the beach and 8 minutes to the Hermosa pier, shops, restaurants and more. Come enjoy the southern California lifestyle the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

The space
This apartment is rare as it is at the top of the building with an unobstructed view of the ocean, beach and city. Guests can walk out of the living room on to the first of two rooftop decks. The first deck is great for those who love to BBQ, the outdoors, sun and being outside. It has a second rooftop deck that gives a truly unique view of Hermosa, Redondo and Manhattan Beach. It is so large you can play bean bags/corn hole on the rooftop deck. Both areas have plenty of seating including sun lounge chairs for tanning.

Guest will have access to the driveway and one parking spot you can use throughout your stay. Everyone can use the BBQ and everything in the house. Check in is typically no earlier than 3pm but depending on what day you check in, I will do everything possible to work with you and around your schedule to get you the keys as soon as you arrive.

My space has two bedrooms with the master having a king size memory foam mattress and half bathroom attached. It also has a large balcony facing the street. The second bedroom has an queen size bed with a tempur pedic mattress. Please note our place is a classic beach bungalow. It was built in the 60's and has a classic beach vibe and charm.

Getting around is as simple as walking or biking. Pier avenue is an 8 minute walk to the restaurants, bars, Comedy and Magic Club and much more. The strand and beach are 2 blocks away.ñ
