We are out here on almost 3 Acres so our neighbor properties are all spaced well. This Spacious & private Barndominium is .located out in the country down a country road. where there is no light pollution and we look at Mt. Palomar where the world famous Palomar Observatory is located. WEATHER is fabulous, mostly in the 70's even in the winter. In the summer we have warmer temperatures 80's, 90's sometimes over 95 degrees and because we are 1,300 ft. above sea level we have a cool ocean breeze most of the time. Being less than 35 min. from Southern California beaches gives us the best of both climates because we are far enough from the ocean to escape most of the fog, clouds, and crowds yet close enough to enjoy the cool breezes in the heat of summer. We rarely go over 100 degrees and have air conditioning if we do get in the higher temps.

PRIVATE DECK with a great 180 degree mountain / sunset and grove views. Sit out and relax on cushy deck furniture watch the hawks and take in the peace and tranquility surrounding you.

KITCHEN comes fully equipped with all stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in addition to the smaller appliances ie: blender, 3 different coffee machines: a Cuisinart full pot coffee maker and bean grinder, a Keuirig 1 -cup coffee maker including K-cups, a Nespresso machine so bring your own favorite pods, hand mixer, etc. There is a LG oven/Cooktop and microwave, and a GE dishwasher together with a purified R.O. water system. The kitchen is stocked with some spices and basic condiments.

SLEEPS 4 / MASTER BEDROOM WITH KING SIZE BED/ QUEEN SOFA SLEEPER / OTHER OPTIONS - From the master bedroom there are BEAUTIFUL mountain views from the large windows installed with cellular shades and curtains for darkening. There is a California King size bed with a 3" memory foam topper, full length Mirror together with a quiet sitting area next to the window where you can curl up & read a good book. In addition, we have 2 storage areas (good for your suitcases) with plenty of room to accommodate a longer stay. QUEEN SLEEPER - SLEEPS AN ADDED 2 MORE - In the living area which has a 4" Memory Foam mattress. OTHER SLEEPING OPTIONS: We also have the option of 2 double bed size 4" high density foam pieces enclosed in sheets to place anywhere with added sheets to fit. Also a single wide Foam fold-out pad for anyone for simplicity in folding and picking up out of the way.

LIVING / ENTERTAINMENT We offer free Wifi and have frequent guests that work from here. We are set up with a flat screen T.V. with a Blu-Ray DVD player & Boze surround sound system. We have a wide variety of DVD's available together with a large variety of games for quiet nights indoors. We also offer Video Game Cables for Gamers for your use. For indoor entertainment the room is set up with a Roku Box where you can stream movies for your Netflix or Hulu and or Prime.

BATHROOM accommodates a shower over tub that is complete with safety handrails and a hand-held showerhead for convenience. We supply towels, body wash and a hair dryer. The vacation rental is also equipped with your own private washer and dryer for clothes washing.

OFFICE AREA is complete with free WIFI an office chair and a hugh granite desk with plenty of lighting, drawers and Built in filing cabinets giving you plenty of work space with free Wifi.

SPA (Private) is below the deck. Around the spa is a private full patio, seating area, and grassy area to play lawn games or just relax while barbecuing. An Umbrella is available at your request .

CLEANING- Just a note on cleaning procedures. We are very meticulous as we use a Commercial Grade Viricidal / Germicidal on all floors. We use Clorox Disinfectant Wipes on all surfaces and door-nobs. . All sheets and towels are washed in a Commercial front loader at high temps. Larger bedding pieces are washed on the highest heat setting in our commercial Speed Queen. All mattress covers are sprayed with Lysol or QD-64, a germicidal. All sofa / loveseat and dinette seats have coverlets that are washed or sprayed with Lysol between guests. We supply to our guests the following: Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Lysol Spray, Hand Sanitizer, Anti-bacterial hand Soap.

If you want to get away from the business and the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the place for you. We have the best of both worlds because the property is rural and peaceful, and yet you can get down to the city in less than 30 minutes, where you can find most anything you’ll need.

This home is on 35 peaceful acres with three man-made ponds and hiking or mountain biking through oak groves with large granite rocks. The two smaller ponds are near the house, and the largest pond can be reached by vehicle or a moderate hike. Natural stream water from the property flows into this pond via a peaceful waterfall feature. An adobe kitchen area overlooks this large pond and features a sink, small refrigerator, canopy with firepit and a propane and wood or charcoal BBQ.

The 6,250 sf Tudor home has lots of character and charm. Stunning sunset views can be viewed from the backyard most of the year. And during the day, views of the valleys and surrounding hills go on forever. Relax in the back yard around the firepit and Bar Be Que on a propane, wood or charcoal BBQ. At dust, wait for the beautiful sunsets, then after dark, take in the majesty of the star-filled skies. There’s also nothing like an evening in a rural area when there is a full moon, as it illuminates the darkness. The sound of coyotes makes for beautiful evening music.

The main floor of the house has a large kitchen with two islands, two sinks and a double oven, and a large dinning/family room with wood-burning fireplace. One full bathroom, one powder room, and a laundry room are also on the main floor.

The second floor has a large master suite with a king size bed, a jacuzzi tub and its own balcony. Two more bedrooms occupy the second floor as well as a separate dorm room with 8 twin beds. An additional balcony is located off a common hallway for all to share.

Beneath the main floor is an 1800 sf, partially subgrade, granny suite with access from the main house and its own separate entrance. The large bedroom has a king size bed and additional beds, a living/entertainment room with a wood-burning fireplace, a small kitchen, and a full bathroom. A table can be used to hand out and talk or, flip it over and play poker and then try a game of bumper pool.

- "Everything is perfect. The yard is immaculate and gorgeous. Just like it's straight out of a magazine. The decor in the house is so charming and well thought out and put togther. The home was spotless. It is bright and open with amazing views from all the windows. I loved the front yard with the white picket fence and the roses, but the fenced in back yard was also amazing for the children to hang out in. It was so nice to escape from the city while still being close to the city. The home was very well stocked. The hostess was so thoughtful and thought of everything and made sure we got a family photo in the garden before we left."

We require ID verification right after booking. Failure to provide ID will mean you surrender your booking fees and we won't be able to accommodate your stay.

This is a tiny home on wheels. 240 ft² but a fantastic layout with a bedroom on one end with a full size bed and closet. It has a door for privacy which leads into the kitchen and then the living room that has a futon couch that folds out into a full size bed. On the opposite end is a bathroom with Good size standing shower.

We have a large TV in living room and smaller smart TV in bedroom both wall mounted for optimal space.

Unit has a mini split ac and heating system that does a great job and is very quiet.

Water pressure in kitchen sink is low, but bathroom and shower is good. water heater is only a 6 gallon water heater so showers cannot be very long. A 15 min wait between showers is recommended.

Everything in tiny home is electric except for stove and oven which is run off propane. We have a backup propane tank to make sure we do not run out. If it runs out just message us and we will do the swap real quick.

Tiny home has a robot vacuum if you want the place vacuumed while you are out enjoying all San Diego has to offer.

The full size deck gives a glimpse of the valley view and during some winters snow on the mountain tops.

The night skies in Valley Center are amazingly clear and a beautiful site nearly every night.

Something to be aware of, this is a dog kennel and next door is a dog kennel. There will be occasional barking. The dogs do pretty well sleeping through the night but there is a lot of excitement on the property at around 7am when they are let out for play time and around 3pm when they are getting fed. If you are the type who likes to sleep in, this might not be the place for you. If you are easily irritated by noise this might not be the place for you. The tiny home is about 30 or 40 yd away from the kennel area. I have had long term tenants and Customers stay at the tiny home and none of them have ever had an issue with noise. We provide a Bluetooth speaker for those who like to sleep to music or white noise

Also, if you don't do well in tiny spaces this may not be for you. This tiny home is 8 feet wide by 30 feet long, so it is by definition a tiny home. We have made it fairly spacious by keeping it simple and minimalistic, but know some people don't do well in small places and want people to be very aware if size.

Tiny home is fully private for the guest and has its own yard. We do not allow guests to tour the property outside of the private yard without staff chaperone for liability reasons.

We do contactless check in. We prefer to stay invisible for you and let you enjoy your stay. When you arrive please message so we know it's you and not some squatters. 🤣 We are always a phone call or message away. We prefer contact via VRBO app but have phone number listed in tiny home for emergencies.

if interested in tour of facility or interacting with dogs or pups please let us know in advance and we will coordinate. we usually accommodate puppy playtime between noon and 2pm IF we have puppies. If not, we will bring some of our friendly French Bulldogs out for you to meet and play with.

The tiny home is 2 sliding doors, but none lock with keys, they both lock from inside. No need to worry as we are in a very safe area. We are a stone throw away from the sheriff's department and the entire property has surveillance (no cameras in tiny home or facing its windows and/or doors.)

Also, we are conveniently located near Horizen fuel center which is the cheapest gas in So Cal. Usually gas prices are .40 to .60 cents cheaper on avg, so fill up there as often as possible.

For EV vehicles, we can accommodate occasional charging as we have a Tesla wall charger on property.

We charge a cleaning fee for basic cleaning and decontamination which includes trash removal and laundry service. We ask that you give the place back as close to the way as you received it.

- "We had a delightful stay at this VRBO location in Valley Center. Our hosts, Debra and Mike, thought of everything. And if there happened to be anything else one might need, they were most willing to help. Communication with them was quick and easy. The directions they gave to find the place were perfect. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets if needed. The outdoor patio was enormous with a stunning view. Probably one of my favorite things about the room was the fact that the bathroom had two separate vanities with a huge amount of storage (adequate storage is something sadly missing in most hotel rooms these days). Debra clearly and patiently explained and demonstrated all of the features in the room and on the patio. There was a helpful guide for local restaurants and wineries. Our stay was very short so we undoubtedly missed many features of this property that would have been worth investigating. This was altogether a beautiful and peaceful place to get away for a while. Our hosts put the icing on the cake for our weekend by letting us share some time with their newly acquired cat family (pure heaven for me, a crazy cat lady). Thank you Debra and Mike."

You can enjoy the entire Yurt located right by our baby lavender fields, which features a covered patio, "outdoor shower" (actually inside), and a modern compost toilet in the attached restroom by the door.
