For me it made a big difference to be able to sit out on the balcony and look over the water. Kayaks and paddle boards are offered and you could rent other watercraft to explore the lake. They have a golf course and there is a clubhouse with a restaurant where we had breakfast and it was very good. There is an excellent restaurant adjacent to the property called Amalfi and we had dinner there the first night. There isn’t much else around the property. But it’s a quick drive to so many restaurants and there are a lot of things to do in the surrounding area. It’s all very nice and I would definitely come back. "

She is located on a large plot of land on the side of hill looking over hills and valleys.
20 min to best beaches, 20 min to wineries of Temecula and 40 min to famous Potato Chip Rock hike, you can experience most of San Diego from here! Less then 20 min to the moon with our telescope on the grounds!

Panoramically positioned, our place is great for a romantic couples or artsy solo traveler or anyone who would like a refuge from the rustle and bustle of urban life.

Located on a carved out plain atop a hill you'll be surrounded by the peaceful Tuscany-like views with distant wineries and mountains. You will have almost an acre of land at your disposal with no houses obstructing enchanting views.

It took us a year to rebuild/remodel that piece of American history with leaving all original interior. You will have your own Bathhouse with antique claw-foot bath with plenty of hot water. Airstream has independent air conditioning and heater . We provide organic shampoo/conditioner to support nearby nature. You will have access to firewood. During dry times , please, ask us about outdoor fire regulations in the area, we have to respect local laws.

The Interior:
Inside the Airstream you shall find one queen size bed and one twin size bed that can be converted into a couch manually at your convenience. The kitchen stretches along the wall featuring Breville AirFryer/Toaster/Oven, refrigerator, double sink, and counter space. At the far end of the trailer is a hot/cold shower and little sink.

The Exterior:
Featuring a covered pergola, deck, lounge chairs, Mexican cast iron chimenea, Weber BBQ grill with side burner, private bath house (including full size antique claw bathtub a sink & toilet) wooden swing set and more... all surrounded by open space, fresh air and rolling mountains.

Details:
Most guests prefer to use the bath house outside for this reason please bring a robe or other clothes in which you can easily go to and from the Airstream and the bath house/toilet located just 15 feet behind it.

*Upon entering your private gated entrance you will find your furnished patio and well-lit front door. Patio is landscaped with unique cacti, lava rock and Dracaena Marginata. This should not affect any of the interior or exterior amenities of the property, or the views. However, there could be construction personnel and normal construction noise during the day times on these dates. Please reach out for more questions before booking if this is a concern. The area of construction would be about 100ft away from any interior part of the unit, so it would be like your neighbor doing construction.

Our host checked-in on us and ensured we had a relaxing stay. Enjoyed use of the garage, and the patio was my work and our social area. Recommend highly." - "When you go on vacation, you don't want to have to think about going out to pick up additional items. The owner didn't skip a beat with anything. She had the most incredibly stocked kitchen with spices, oils, nice pots and pans, glasses, a Keurig, and tons of silverware. She had all of the cleaning items and a new sponge as well. The bathrooms had very absorbent and soft towels with plush rugs. She also provided soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wipes, and extra toilet paper. Her Welcome Book explained absolutely everything. The neighborhood was just beautiful and a nice 10-minute walk to a lovely lake. It's only a 15-20 minute drive to the beach and wonderful restaurants, so truly the best location. The owner does have a small unit with a door next to the kitchen, but she wasn't there during our stay. I highly recommend this property!"

- "Cozy" - "The property was spotless and well appointed which made for a very pleasant stay." - "We were tending to an ailing relative confined at Palomar Medical Center and needed a place close by to use as our home base. We were frequently at the hospital but nevertheless needed some place to sleep, shower, change clothes, etc. This home perfectly suited oir needs. Communications with our host was swift and clear. " - "The property looked nice. We liked the horse pictures and the other decorations. This is I believe a new rental. There are some things that could have been more finished. On the surface, it looked good. It could have been fabulous except a few things bothered us. First, there should be enough towels for everyone (face, hand, bathtowel and even some extras). The towels should be nicely placed in the cart instead of just thrown in. The notices as reminders or demands should in the house rules and if you want to remind guest make it as neat as possible. Buy new mattresses. Both were very uncomfortable. The master was like sleeping on a rock, and the double was so noisy, you couldn't move. Several doors need WD40 or something to keep them from making noise opening or closing. A bigger issue was the "RULE" Most toilet paper disposed in the trash instead of the toilet. State "new house, old pipes". That is fine and we understand, however very difficult to follow that rule if toilet paper is 1 ply, see-thru TP, not even a typical 1 ply. The TP is so thin, even layering to wipe is impossible, and to try to throw it in the trash... Suggestion; provide a diaper-genie type container in both bathrooms and baby-wipes or at least 2ply TP. If you like to challenge yourself and watch most spectacular sunset on San Marcos Mountains or Daley Ranch, they are less than a mile away.
Your Casita is a complete separate building form the main house with walls 18 inches thick, but sometimes you may hear our labs barking. You will have your own heating/cooling system - we kindly asking to turn off when you are not there. Please, bring your favorite robes and slippers for a walk to Jacuzzi which in situated outside about 50 feet from the cottage..
You will be surrounded by nature here for your enjoyment - coyotes may howl distantly at night and and may see some other creatures outside day and night.
Please, keep the wooden gate of your patio CLOSED at all times. We value your privacy, but in case you need something , we are here for you. All area within the bamboo and metal fence is beyond the guests reach. Jacuzzi located outside and just for your enjoyment . Please , keep water at 104 degrees and keep the lid closed and buckled after each use . If you are familiar with wood stove operation , you are welcome to use it . If not , read manual located in the upper kitchen drawer . We provide wood, filtered water for tea/ coffee , all bathroom supplies and great view . Please , take your favorite robes and slippers and walk to jacuzzi outside by the huge eucalyptus tree.

The cottage plumbing ( brand new) works on a sump pump therefor NOTHING, absolutely nothing can be put down the toilet except of toilet paper. In case sump pump stopped working we have to ask the plumber come in and fix it- whole day of work of digging and fixing, hope you will be consciousness enough to keep your deposit.
There is a lot of effort we put into creating this property. you will not find anything closer to it in whole California. Hope you will enjoy your stay. It is magical here!
